I was really waiting due to my lack of surety regarding hometown; but yeah, will remember.IC: Jennifer looked at the thing in Lark's hands.She looked up, staring into black metal, that long and sinous barrel and a bloodstained brown handgrip, engraved Sharpedo winding around the cheaply-made barrel to converge upon its gaping maw with teeth ready to crunch onto her--And realized she had absolutely no idea how to use it.Lorne shook her head.Lark sighed. He shoved the weapon back into his waistband."Now we get going."The trainer's open eyes blinked slowly. They settled back down to their low lids in the duration of several seconds."Lorne, you can recover your 'mon with the help of Hex-," Here Lark thought he might have caught the slightest of flushes appear on Jennifer's cheeks, "-As he is best suited for the job, what with his disguise and knowledge of the base."Joseph sighed. He ran his fingers through his shagged hair-I really do need to take a bath, he absently noted-and then let them come to a stop at his neck."I'll be getting the Lugia. Head outside in forty-five mins, and if I'm not there, Surf to Lilycove and subsequently head to Four Island. Hasta la vista," Lark finished, and then he turned and slinked off.

IC:A charming smile came to Hex's face, one only Lark would question with his prior knowledge."Shall we?"The Minun on his shoulder jumped from his perch and ran up to Lorne, putting his front paws on her shin in remembrance."I guess he remembers you. I must warn- Jackal and Pulser have evolved."

OOC: Posting for Lark when I can write something with higher quality than an intestinal waste product. I'mma assume Grash can be picked up/hugged/whatever.IC: But Lorne was a bit too busy to hear Hex' next words.Busy, that is, trying to hug and pet said Minun as much as much as she could."Grash!," Jenny exclaimed joyfully as she perked up for the first time in days while gently, but firmly, holding the mouse to her chest.

And considering how well trained both are, Shadowplay! Grab them!" however, Zoroark didn't move...he heard it struggling to move then he saw something holding it's hind legs. That Darkrai!!!"I have him!" the darkrai known as Shadows said, "It should be easy!"

IC: Grash, of course, enjoyed the attention as much as any small electric rodent would. That is to say, a whole lot. He "Minun"'d gleefully as she hugged him.Hex scratched the back of his neck, the smile turning awkward."Glad to see he still knows you."Just as he said the words, he froze. A cold piece of metal was pressed against his back."We found the real Joe Johnson," he heard a voice say, "in a cell, dead as a doornail."Hex was about to turn around and ruin the lives of this guy's family, when he remembered Jen. She was still hugging Minun. He looked at her, a silent plea in his eye.

IC[Romeo - Striaton City]If Gary had a bitter bone in his body, he might've come to the enraged conclusion that his Shiftry had- but he didn't, so he didn't. The kindness Fennel was demonstrating warmed the heart of young Mr. Hawkes, giving him hope where he had previously had none, but Romeo didn't agree.Where was that five minutes ago? What sort of twisted, empty person was this? The Wicked Pokemon thought, scowling fiercely. Fortunately for his bitterness, his species was renowned for being mean. His scowl would go very much undetected. "We really need to talk," Gary said, snapping Romeo out of his trance. He glanced upwards at the back of his trainer's head, then beyond that to stare spitefully at the front of Fennel's. "Me, my Pokemon, we've been having...awful, awful dreams...""Shif, Shift." Romeo cooed. "Shiftry."Mitch looked at him, then nodded in a very animated fashion. Gary paused, looking back at his Pokemon, then understood what Romeo meant. "Right, um, Miss Fennel," His politeness killed Romeo a little inside."Could we talk elsewhere?"

IC: Jennifer looked up at Hex. And the guy behind him holding a gun between his scapulae.All the blood drained from her face.Grash fell from trembling hands as Jennifer simply stood and wondered what to do. She was totally helpless.

IC:Hex sighed deeply. The metal was still pressed to his back, though he remained calm. He realized Jen couldn't help him. He looked at Minun, almost chuckling at the thought of the small rodent being of much help. Grash had ducked down into a little ball, ears drooping.Only one way to do this. He spun around, barely knocking the gun from his opponent's hands. He threw a punch that sent the guard back, but he retaliated quickly. Kicking him in the chest, he knocked Hex to the ground. The trainer pulled out his own pistol and aimed it at the guard, who gripped the barrel and twisted it, pointing it at Hex's chest.For a second, his entire life flashed before his eyes. He knew there were mere seconds before the guard decided to pull the trigger, and only one opportunity. He flashed his hands out, attempting to switch its aim to the ceiling......but failed. He caught a bullet to the shoulder and fell back, eyes wide open. Blood rushed out of the wound quickly.

IC: Jennifer caught Hex with what strength her drained body could muster. She tried to apply pressure to the wound while looking for Grash.Throughout the fighter, the trainer had been thinking. And she had formulated a plan. A desperate one, true, but a plan nonetheless.Lorne finally caught the curled-up critter with her eyes. She bent down on one knee so as to better talk to it while supporting Hex."Grash-Quick Attack the shooter, then Thunderbolt!"

[Relapse]

IC:The small Pokemon looked confused, and kind of scared. Was he supposed to take orders from others? Was that allowed? His simple mind realized he needed to move, quickly, or Hex could die. That would be worse than breaking some rule by following another trainer's orders.Blitzing away from the two trainers, he leaped at the guard's knee, electricity shocking him from there to the rest of his body. The man fell, pistol slipping out of his hand. He ran back, curling up beside Hex and Jennifer."Good job, Grash," Hex said approvingly.He realized there was only one good way to get out: Pulser. The mammoth-sized dragon could easily get them out. He tossed out the Pokeball, and sure enough, Pulser appeared with a roar. But that wasn't the only Pokemon that came out. "Jackal, not now, we have to-"The penguin Pokemon made a sound of discomfort, motioning to Jennifer."Oh, yes...we do need to get her team. You recognize them, right? Escort Jenny to the room where you guys were stored, and get her team. Meet me and Pulser outside as soon as you can."

OOC: Yay Jenny and her basic knowledge of biology thanks to life with 'mon and stuffIC: Jennifer shook her head. She continued to hold Hex' shoulder for a second more, then stepped away."Get Grash to cauterize that before the arterial bleeding kills you," She ordered. "THEN I'll go with Jackal."

[Relapse]

IC:"Yes ma'am." he looked serious for a moment, then grinned jokingly again.This was going to hurt, and he knew he probably wasn't going to do it correctly. Then again, Minun's electricity had stronger electrons in comparison to a Plusles or regular, so it had different qualities."Minun, Thunderbolt."He was soon side-winded by a strike of lightning, not a dead-on hit but effective just as well."Alright, that should be good. Should we have Pulser use Dragon Breath on it for good measure?" he joked. The Pokemon, unfortunately, heard "Pulser, use Dragon Breath." Before he could do so, Hex noticed and stopped him."Should we commence operation: get the heck out?"

IC: Jennifer nodded. She turned and gave the best smile she could manage to Jackal."Let's go. I know you're just raring to see how Juliet, Helen, and Olenka have been."

[Relapse]

IC: The penguin nodded apathetically."Well, I'll head out." he was obviously hurt. It was cauterized for now, but he'd already lost blood. Much of it. Hex pulled himself onto Pulser's back, and held on, waving to Jenny."I'll assist Lark. We'll meet you back here ASAP, Jen."They lifted off, moving in the way Lark had set on. Jackal would help Jennifer in case she met another guard. Jackal was his second strongest and most loyal Pokemon- who'd known Jen since he was a Piplup -and he would respond to her command. In other words, he was sure she would be find.

IC: A breath, in through the nose and out through clenched teeth. A step, cautiously explorative and nearly silent.Lark was getting closer.The trainer stopped abruptly. He pulled out the map he'd obtained off the same guy he stole the Kamarov MP off and ignored its bloodstains as he searched for the room. At this point, he was close enough to enter in under a minute...But Joseph hadn't checked the map enough to do so. With no time to committ it to memory, that meant he was still looking for its entrances.Lark knew the storage room would normally be guarded. And while that guard may have been lightened due to the attack, the trainer also knew that there was no way Team Aqua would let anyone get a legendary that easily. Walking into the room from the front would be the equivalent of swallowing potassium cyanide-the main difference being that the latter would probably make less of a mess.Lark wasn't alone or unarmed. He had four 'mon and a semiautomatic pistol. He could put up a fight.But a fight would attract attention. And no matter how much he wanted to have one right now-he shoved any questioning thoughts about the 'Why' behind that away-attention would bring other fighters or give them time to transport the Lugia.So he had opted to see if he could enter the room via a back door. While the front would probably retain its guard, the executives in charge of defense would probably be forced to withdraw all grunts from other spots in the room to combat the attack. The rationale behind this was actually decent; only someone who knew the base's plans would find that door in the chaos, and the attackers probably didn't due to word of Aqua only just having reached them. No time to obtain plans.But Lark had had that time.Looking over the map, he tried to find such a back entrance...Jennifer and Jackal slinked along. It didn't take the pair long to find the room of captured pokeballs.Casting a cautious look back to Jackal and warning him to stay hidden with gesticulation, Lorne now submerged herself in the group of escapees currently sifting through the stores.OOC: S'yeah. Back door or no?Also: Made a few revisions to Jennifer's Appearance. I originally forgot to include descriptions of hair, eyes, etc.

Zac said as his Valor returned and perched on his shoulder.Shadows escaped the shadows I the Zoroark and found him knocked out.IC: Dusk"This isn't over," dusk said in an angered tone. He reached his pocket and them pulled out a smoke pellet and slammed it into the ground and escaped wih Zoroark.

IC: A large shape appeared, silently rushing down the hall. It was a hairy, flying, two headed beast and a teen on top clutching its fur. It blurred so fast the hair of the teen flashed back. As it got closer to Lark the teen dropped off, but the beast kept flying. That is, until a beam of light shot out and brought it back."No one saw me," he whispered, "and if we do this right, no one will."

IC - Darkrai/Lilycove: "If your wish is to die... Then allow me to grant you that wish!" Sombra roared, unleashing a Dark Pulse. But much like the Deoxys, the Darkrai also joined in, as seven other Dark Pulses joined with Sombra, creating a powerful beam of pure shadow, heading directly for the Deoxys. "Witness the power of the darkness!"IC - Daseos/Lavaridge: "I hope you make it in time..." the Darkrai said, fading away into the air.~Det

IC: Lark glanced at Hex. He then got back to reading the map."Shoulder shot."

[Relapse]

IC:"Captain obvious strikes again." the injured trainer made his way to Lark.He looked at the map."So...how're we doing this?"

[Franco]

IC: "Captain Obvious," Lark snarked back, "Feels that his comrade is ill-advised to come back to help him on a mission he designated specifically for himself, especially not when said comrade is in such a heavily wounded state."But if that comrade does insist," He went on just as coolly, "The good captain is currently scanning a map for a back door into the Lugia's chamber."

[Relapse]

IC:"The good captain," Hex frowned, "is, while knowledgeble on the floor plans, quite oblivious to the number of guards and/or type of Pokemon waiting behind the door to catch the good captain and beat the living snot out of him."Hex sighed at Lark's labeling him as a comrade. It was obvious some length of trust had been lost."Said comrade, looking out for the captain's health and discarding his own, has come to assist Mr. obvious in getting what he wants. However, if the captain is intent on going solo, the comrade would much rather be with the pretty girl from his past, versus help the doomed captain who refused his help."It's his choice, really."

"Well, I'm ready to go," Ellen said. She was not only excited about continuing the adventure, but she was also curious about what Sonja had to say about Team Plasma.

"C'mon, Terry," she called to her Herdier, who had been napping lazily by one of the couches. Her Solosis and Mienfoo also perked up, ready to get going again.

Zach nodded, as he stood up, and began to walk toward the door, but turned his head, as he saw Thomas walking off.

"What's up?" Zach asked, and the other trainer paused for a moment.

"I think I'll stay around here for a bit; I want to check out something." Thomas said, and Zach nodded, taking that to mean the Deoxys probably wanted to do something crazy, and Justin walked up, and handed Entei's Pokeball to Zach.

"I think I'm gonna stay here for a bit too. You can look after the Pokemon, Zach." Justin said, and Zach nodded, as the two trainers walked out of the Pokemon Center.

"Catch." Zach said to Orange, as he tossed the Pokeball to the orange haired kid, prompting Orange to glare at Zach.

"... Really? No-one else could've taken it?" Orange asked, as he looked at Zach skeptically, though Zach simply shrugged, and started to walk out of the Pokemon Center.

"Come on; let's get going, unless any others want to stay here." Zach said with a chuckle, as he looked behind him for a moment.

IC - Sonja Baron - Striaton City: "Please, don't give them the option," Sonja said. "They might slow us down again." Casting a quick look back at Thomas and Justin, she headed outside, descending the steps leading to the door and waiting at the bottom as the others followed her. "IC - Legendaries - Lilycove City: The Dark Pulse seemed to tear through the Deoxys's attack, shooting straight toward the four Legendaries. Vili, the Defense Forme, moved swiftly to get between it and the others, activating his Protect ability. The Dark Pulse slammed into it, dissipating against the powerful field of energy. Vili uncrossed his arms.We need to split them up, he telepathically told the others. Get them into individual fights. The other Deoxys nodded, rapidly forming a plan. A moment later, all four teleported, disappearing into thin air--and leaving the other non-Darkrai Legendaries alone, stunned by this act.They were not so for long. From above the Darkrai, several orbs of energy rained down into the Ancients' midst, orange-brown energy that seemed to jump and bounce inside of the psychic casings that held them. A second later, they burst, the Focus Blast attacks erupting like super-powered fireworks against the Darkrai, their force hopefully enough to knock them out of the tightly-knit group they had formed.That was when chaos broke loose. A flash zipped past as Vé shot toward them from out of nowhere, aiming to wrap an arm around Five and drag him away.Odin appeared in front of Seven, eyes glowing bright red as he aimed a Superpower at the insane Darkrai's chest.Having switched into her own Speed Forme, Ariadne slammed into Eight, arms extending outwards like whips as she rushed forward, swinging around and aiming to kick Three in Kyogre's direction, where the Sea Basin Pokémon was powering up an Ice Beam attack.The Latias and Latios split off--two Latios and a Latias shooting toward Two, while the other two Latias and remaining Latios aimed for One, all six peppering the two Darkrai with a rapid series of Dragon Pulse and Thunder attacks.Groudon gathered energy from the sun above, taking it all in and launching it in an explosive burst toward Four.That left only Sombra and Six. Roaring in fury, Rayquaza gathered another flurry of fire around its head and body, forming it into a massive "V" and taking off toward the lead Darkrai, aiming to slam its V-Create attack straight into Sombra's body. Above, Vili swooped down, aiming to slam his massive foot against Six's head.IC - Bounty - Lavaridge City: Bounty cast a final look at where Daseos had been before returning to the two guards, walking past them and toward the helicopter. "Come; we have a fight to assist in.""You don't mean the one in Lilycove, do you?" the Second Lieutenant said. "That's suicide!"Bounty climbed into the chopper, taking a seat. He looked squarely into the guard's eyes. "That's precisely the one," he said. "This may be the first chance anyone gets to really slow the Darkrai down. Teleport back if you wish, but I'm going."OOC: Phew. This is going to be a difficult fight to write...

"Mine are apparently actively running from me."This, of course, was not at all true, but Tim was not feeling the most clear-headed right now."Aha." he said, pulling one free. "Phyto, help me find the others, would ya?" he asked, releasing the Treecko, who complied with a mock saute.Together, the two kept up the search, seemingly too focused to notice the pretty young woman they had seen earlier that entered the room shortly after.

Her brows furrowed slightly in concentration, the young woman checked each and every one to make sure she had found all of them.Quite soon enough, both Olenka and Helen were found. So Lorne moved on to Juliet.It was at this very point in time that the girl happened to bump into someone. She looked up-a pair of distinctly annoyed green eyes, pale hair, and a chiseled face greeted her vision."Excuse me," Said Jennifer politely.

Appearance: Jasrich has long blondish brown hair that goes to about his shoulders; it is not known why he keeps it so long, however. Jasrich has red eyes, and wears glasses, that he sometimes pushes further up his nose when he makes a sarcastic comment, which is quite often. He also typically wears a blue jacket with a black shirt underneath, and black jeans. His boots are the normal black colour, but has a bluish-color of metal to act like a steel-toed boot.

Personality: Jasrich is very sarcastic. That is made very obvious once you get into a conversation, as he tends to tease people often, and use sarcasm to describe different situations. However, in battle, he is merciless, and appears to lack morals. However, sometimes, he might let an enemy go, either because a teammate wishes it, or for some other reason that only he would understand; potentially related to his past.

Background: Jasrich was once a fairly normal kid in Snowpoint. He was known to be smarter than most kids his age, however, and began to experiment with different methods of technology, such as improving the quality of healing items, and working on TMs. However, one day, one of his experiments went horribly wrong, and fatally injured one of his old Pokemon, a Gardevoir. Jasrich tried to heal her with a modified Revive, however, it has been said that that somehow went wrong. Since then, he traveled to Johto, and after the Rocket takeover was beginning to occur, joined up with the Rocket military, and advanced through the ranks quickly, after a number of years, eventually reaching the rank of Colonel that he is at now.

Nickname: Indignation

Trainer: Jasrich

Appearance: Ampharos appears to have red eyes.

Personality: Ampharos is scarily similar to Jasrich, possibly due to having known him the longest. He has some morals, however, unlike Jasrich's total lack of morality. He is named indignation, because Jasrich was reminded of himself.

Ability: Static

Specialty: All of Jasrich's Pokemon specialize in Special attacks, at the cost of their Attack.

Known Moves: Thunder, Thunder Shock, Power Gem, Growl

 

Species: Joltik

Nickname: Phoenix

Trainer: Jasrich

Appearance: Joltik appearrs to have red eyes.

Personality: Phoenix is... Very odd. He appears to have a fear of females; as he scurries away whenever one tries to approach him. That said, he's getting better. He is named Phoenix because Jasrich was reminded of someone from his past.

Ability: Compoundeyes

Specialty: All of Jasrich's Pokemon specialize in Special attacks, at the cost of their Attack.

Known Moves: Electroweb, Signal Beam, Electro Ball, Discharge(Not as strong)

Nickname: Radiant

Trainer: Jasrich

Appearance: The Psyduck appears to have red eyes.

Personality: Radiant, aside from having many headaches, is very arrogant, and acts like he had been spoiled by the group of Pokemon he had been with earlier. However, with that said, he is not overly fond of killing people or Pokemon, though will do so if it is absolutely necessary. Jasrich looked around the Rocket facility, as he wandered the halls.

My, my. They really DO know how to put on a welcome party. Jasrich thought, as he saw the halls were oddly rather bare, aside from the occasional guard. Well, I guess it's not often that a respected member of the military such as myself gets to visit, so they likely had no time to prepare. Jasrich thought, as he continued down the halls, and took a left turn, as he headed toward Joker's office, and then knocked on the door.
