Blessed Blade Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Because those old ones are simply an 'archived' version; aka, you can read them and such, but you can't post to them, because there's this new version that we're on now, and that old variant that's now archived was getting rather large due to over about 5 million posts, IIRC. They also used a version of IPB that was relatively old and thus prone to errors due to the database being massive (explaining the slowness), and, on top of all that, the layout was fast becoming obsolete with the decline of new BIONICLE material to discuss.
