Hapori Tohu
When LEGO purchased Bricklink last year, there were a lot of questions from fans about what that would mean for lots of things with the popular marketplace. I certainly had my doubts about Sohobricks, the subsidiary of Bricklink that made LEGO-compatible bricks and targeted them at professionals and others making large-scale builds. Now, according to Brick Fanatics, LEGO is closing them down and laying off the 34 employees who are currently working there at the end of May. LEGO has never been a fan of 'clone' brands, so this move is unsurprising. I never got my hands on any of their product, but I heard Sohobricks were very high quality. It makes you wonder though what other changes LEGO has in store for Bricklink.View the full article 1 Quote News Forums Q&A
