As the Toa Inika are exploring Voya Nui Mount Valmai suddenly becomes Mount Doom with Barad Dur next to it, and on the Northern Continent Isengard  materializes as well. Meanwhile on Middle Earth Destral replaces Barad Dur and Mount Doom. The time for LOTR is one year before Fellowship of the Ring.

  • Round 1 All Lord of the Rings villains invade Voya Nui and the Matoran Universe, the One Ring is given to a random Matoran.
  • Round 2 The Brotherhood of the Makuta and all their servants and armies attempts to conquer all of Middle Earth
  • Bonus round 1 Book versions of LOTR
  • Bonus round 2 Morgoth from the Silmarillion attempts to conquer the entire MU with his armies

while I am no expert on lord of the rings I think that this is interesting. Sauron and Saruman are two of the most powerful figures in that time frame. the Matoran universe has an edge up here as the Armies of Mordor are flesh and proto steel is probably stronger than the armor of Mordor. the ring corrupts any who hold it with promises of power. unless the Matoran that gets the ring is some incorruptible paragon of virtue then that matoran quickly becomes a servant of Sauron. for round 2 the Makuta will defiantly have a hard time conquering Middle earth and might not even it is a big place after all and the Elves and dwarfs are not to be trifled with and will most likely form a united army to defeat the Makuta like they formed one to beat Morgoth and Sauron. the bonus round... the book versions are far far stronger than their movie counterparts. Gandalf and friends are physical gods as well they are Valar. Melkor is the first dark lord for good reason. He was the most powerful of all the Ainur beings above even the Valar before he fell to darkness. he was capable of soloing armies on his own. Sauron was his servent all the balrogs bowed to him all evil in middle earth stems from him. he wasn't killed only exiled from existence. the Matoran universe has never seen a being like him. he will corrupt all who serve him he will likely win.

Also in the unlikely event that Melkor is defeated he will never be killed. as long as evil and the world exist so will he. if he spreads his evil in the MU then he will persist there forever until the end of creation when he will be killed after destroying everything. even after his imprisonment and exile his influence was still felt in middle earth even after the last war of the ring.

If I could think about it, Bionicle characters have much more advanced weapons and powers than the characters from the Middle-Earth stories, so they would win, despite Sauron being super-powerful and all other stuff that the guy above mentioned.

I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)

the first round maybe but it will be a tough fight still. the second round no they cant defeat melkor, the source of all evil in middle earth powerful as the rest of the primordial beings that were made before the world and even imprisoned and having lost a lot of power Melkor is still far more powerful than anything the Matoran universe has ever seen. also Sauron isn't the only powerful one there. as Saruman, Gandalf, and the rest of the wizards are re incarnated primordial spirits. so the matoran universe will have a tough fight in the first scenario and a near impossible fight in the second as even if they win Melkor's evil will still infest the land and will never be gone.
