Hapori Tohu
Today LEGO is announcing the next iteration of their Mindstorms robotics platform: 51515 Robot Inventor. Based on what looks to be the same or a similar intelligent brick as the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime set, the kit comes with instructions for five different robots and programming challenges to complete using a phone, tablet, or computer. Of course that's just the beginning with Mindstorms, there are so many things you can build and code with it! The set will be available sometime in September for $360 in the US and includes 4 motors, the smart brick, and over nine hundred other parts. Lego David
Interesting... LEGO Mindstorms hasn't been updated ever since 2013, so it was about time they released a new version.
Daler99
There are some new features that are pretty cool here, but I can’t help but feel this is a step down from the EV3. The force sensor, 6 I/o ports, and built in gyro are cool though. Quote ~Daler
