Spear of Fusion and the second Hydraxon

Recommended Posts

Body wise, it would most likely create a semi-duplicate like what happened with Vezon. Mind wise, it very well might split Dekar's mind from the Hydraxon "mind". When the mask created the new Hydraxon it completely changed Dekar's body so his little yellow (still a weird color for a Po matoran) body doesn't exist anymore. However his old memories are still in his mind, the mask just buried them underneath the new Hydraxon's memories.

So, Dekar might live again, he just would be a "vezonized" hydraxon.

But hey, that's just my thoughts about it lol :P

The Spear of Fusion doesn't seem to work consistently. Remember when Vezon used it on a bat and it got split into two one-winged creatures. Honestly there's a good chance the Spear could split you into one being with a mouth and another being with lungs.

When Vezon threatened to use in on the Inika, he claimed it could separate their Matoran selves from their Toa ones, which sounds quite similar to this scenario.

We don’t know if this would actually happen though, given that he’s nuts.

The other thing to consider, and there’s no real evidence for or against this theory, but what if the spear of fusion doesn’t have entirely randomised effects, and can be controlled somewhat by the wielder’s intention? Vezok wound up with an unstable copy because he was shot by someone who didn’t know what they were doing, but perhaps an experienced wielder could focus on two distinct aspects of a person that they wanted to isolate. Vezon did that to the bat because that’s just the sort of thing he finds funny.

Likewise, fusion effects could range from two beings or objects stuck permanently together side by side, or merged entirely into a new entity, possibly depending on what the holder wanted to do. That prescision would make the spear of fusion a truly powerful and coveted tool, rather than just another way to seriously mess somebody up (which, let’s face it, there are plenty of in Bionicle already.).

I find your theory plausible, but it would need to be a deliberate act rather than a random accident.

Would they then try to fuse the two Hydraxons back together?
