I think this would seriously help the canon, so that the Matoran Universe we all know and love can be massive and sprawling, while Mata Nui's physical form wouldn't have to be that big at all. Instead of 40 million feet, he could just be like 600 feet tall (that's twice the size of Godzilla). Anyway, this is my headcanon and I think it works a lot better than what we got.
