Friend Having Trouble

A friend of mine tried to join BZPower exactly one week ago. He received the e-mail, and did everything he was supposed too. But for some reason he isn't allowed to log in, and the system doesn't even recognize his username as an active username when he clicked on 'forgot my password'.Should he wait longer, or is something wrong?

Which computer did he try to join from? My little brother tried awhile ago from the same computer/network/ip address (one of those), and the forum treated it as a dupe account on my part. As such, it was deleted or not approved. We solved it in the end by pming Black Six and explaining the situation, and he manually approved the account.-ibrow

Hmm, that's odd. Have you tried searching the member list to see if your friend's username is listed?

Yes, it is not there.

He joined from a computer at my house. That might be the problem...

That probably is the problem. If he tried to join from the IP address that you use, BZPower will see that as an attempt of a dupe account. PM Black Six, explaining the situation (and how it's not a dupe account) and he'll be able to help you. Feel free to PM me as well if you have any other questions. Thanks for the help, iBrow.Question answered, topic closed.newso1.png
