LEGO Space Shuttle Goes to Space

Recommended Posts

What is with LEGO and space, it's like the two go hand-in-hand. A little bit ago a couple teenagers sent a minifig into the stratosphere, and shortly thereafter a Romanian physicist sent a space shuttle set up on a weather balloon. Please kids, don't do this at home - the last thing we need it LEGO bricks getting stuck in orbit and hitting our satellites or the ISS.

Why is everyone doing this send things into space on a balloon, and why are they all choosing Lego? Also why is James May the only person that I know of to film the balloon bursting when the pressure gets low enough. Thats the coolest bit. And that wasn't with Lego either, not that I have a problem with Lego. I just prefer Lego to be used, rather than sent hundreds of miles up.

I agree with that completely I honestly would not want to send my LEGO SPACE SHUTTLE model in space.
