IC(Whilstler): The businessman was still throwing fist-sized rocks at the creature, trying to draw it away from breaking large, expensive things."Ordinarily," he said loudly, "jokes don't involve monsters. Jokes involve confetti, or a swimming pool, or a pie. This is probably completely serious."

IC: The stasis beams just had an on and off switch, and it was behind the receptionist's desk. The vase just shattered against it harmlessly because both desk and switch had been designed to handle such an attack. No sense having a security measure if it could be deactivated by a light bump. The maybe-spy-maybe-receptionist rolled her eyes and activated the alarm. Other supers would be there in seconds to escort this nutjob to a nice isolated holding cell

OOC: Regarding Kazahkstan, I think there was some mention of a massing of Lupines a few pages back. I can't confirm it, but you should be able to find it pretty easily.IC (Changeling - League HQ):As the alarm sounded, the high-pitched wail warbling through the hallway, Changeling skidded around the corner, pivoting on his heel and effortlessly vaulting over the receptionist's desk. The rookie hero's light brown eyes ran along the assailant of the receptionist, noting the bird-like mask and twin pistols wielded by the man.The space was too close to bother zig-zagging. He would have to be audacious, and hope that Lady Luck was his ally.Changeling moved forward with a burst of speed, spinning his second kali stick from his back and delivering a two-handed thrust at the villainous attacker's chest, before sweeping both his weapons outwards, hoping to deliver a painful, disarming strike to the man's forearms.Even if he missed all of his attacks, the sudden switch to close, physical confrontation would surely throw the man off-balance.

IC: Madness suddenly fizzled out. It was actually an astral projection of him that was rather high quality. In Jocasta's library, however....Madness terminated the viewscreen connection. He had given himself the mother of all headaches andmade himself officially an outlaw, but the current problem was...WHO COULD HE TRUST?HOW MANY PEOPLE FROM THE COALITION HAD INFILTRATED THE LEAGUE.?HOW DID MATA HARI ESCAPE?He decided to ask Jocasta for more information.OOC: Ah yea, but astral projection is like sending a 'part of your own soul' to do what you want.EDIT: I said ' part of your own soul' and 'rather high quality', so possibly those that are 'ghost-like' are of a lower quality....OOC2: Anyone who wants to believe me and join me? In the RPG?

OOC: Do note, Changeling has immunity to attacks and illusions on the mind.EDIT: Yeah, hence why astral projections are entirely intangible and really shouldn't be able to be interacted with by those with their environment. They're the act of ejecting the entirety of your soul out of your body.I'd argue against the "high quality" = solid bit (particularly if the soul can be left invisible and if they can materialize no matter how far from the user), but I couldn't care less.IC (Changeling - League HQ):Changeling's brow arced as the batons passed through the man, the image fizzing out like a hologram from a 1970s sci-fi flick, before he turned to the receptionist, restraining himself from any physical gestures of assistance. He couldn't afford any accidents."Are you alright? What was that psycho up to?" The young man returned one of his kali sticks to its place, keeping an eye on the entrance.OOC:I really like the Mentalist's character. He seems to be a bit like the Question. :D

IC"Jocasta! Any of your sources have any news of jailbreaks recently?" yelled Madness.OOCSo some people think he's paranoid. I'm occasionally surprised at what my characters would do without me consciously knowing...And now, I shall wrest control of the receptionist as I think the story has developed a life of its own...although it was fun. Yah. I'm a spoilsport.IC : NPC(Receptionist of the League HQ)After the other heroes have left and the place was cleaned up, the receptionist tidied her bun. Her shift was over and she went home.At her house, she activated the door to a secret room and opened a communications link to the Coalition Head. "Your assassin didn't do the job. I was almost found out by Mentalist."OOC: Someone to GM the Coalition Head...

OOC: Sorry I've been MIA everybody; I've been a bit under the weather lately and haven't had much in the way of motivation to get posting.TradTheMentalist: Personally, I think the reason that everyone believes Madness to be paranoid is that the League is not going to be incompetent enough to just allow a known Coalition agent, especially one who apparently recently escaped prison, to just waltz in and become a receptionist. If Madness was able to spot her so easily, than I doubt she's disguised very well, in which case she would have been promptly arrested on sight. If she were disguised in order to prevent the League from discovering her, then Madness wouldn't have been able to recognize her. And saying that Madness could read her mind is a moot point, because the League psychicly scans potential recruits (such as people applying for a receptionist job) before allowing them to join, in which case if she was telepathically vulnerable she'd still have been caught before now. I'm happy being convinced that he's just really paranoid. As such, I'll leave the responding to Kumata. His NPC Grand Cross jointly runs the Coalition with my character Mr. Mystery, and as I'm not inclined to accept the validity of the situation without a bit more exposition, and Grand Cross was just conveniently called out of the room, I think that he's more likely to respond to a call. ;)Also, I'm not about to argue the definition of an astral projection; what you're describing is quite clearly a different sort of power, and I'm not sure what to term it, but astral projection is almost certainly not it.To those wondering about Kazakhstan: All that has been stated (and all that I'm willing to say at the moment) is that the ISNN is widely broadcasting that "mutant wolves" have been sighted in the Kazakh Forest Steppe. The Coalition knows this as a small army of Lupines (genetic hybrids that bear a certain resemblance to werewolves; the Coalition used them as henchmen before upgrading to Sharkmen) gathering in that area, although they are uncertain as to why. The Coalition believes that a rogue agent of theirs is building an army for some reason, but all attempts to reach this being have been defeated with uncharacteristic skill on the Lupine's part, given that they are usually unintelligent....Everyone Else: I find it odd that the reason brought up that MMM shouldn't join up with the Golem-Girl group was distance; League jets can get you from NYC to Australia in roughly half and hour, if I remember correctly. NYC to Detroit is nothing; the fact that the group is technically undercover is everything. :lol:The name Jeznewooby = Awesome. An interdimensional worm with a pocket dimension inside it = Uber-Awesome.Unceremoniously dropping said interdimensional worm on some unsuspecting Heroes = Priceless....So long as it doesn't gum up the plot, that is.Also, an official welcome back, MMM!Did I miss anybody? :PIC: (Loadstone)"Working on it," was Loadstone's only reply to Ultionis, concentrating heavily on a magnetic field around Golem-Girl. He had been largely unaffected by the rapid changes from light to pitch blackness to light again and back to darkness, due to the special, polarized sunglasses he wore that filtered light reaching his sensitive eyes and regulated it to what could be considered a safe level. But back to the magnetic field. Loadstone was focused solely on balling magnetic fields around Golem-Girl's hands and wrenching away the ring, or at least bending it off her fingers. This was not his first time fighting an opponent who used superpowered rings, and he had spotted the jewlery rather quickly. Whether it was ferrous or not was another matter entirely; in his past experience, he had found that most forms of O. Matter (Omega Radiation converted into a material form) was mostly non-ferrous, but there was always the chance that there might be standard iron components to the ring. The field was so strong that metallic objects around the room were shuddering, rocking toward Golem-Girl while fighting against gravity holding them in place. As the Villainess began to squeeze onto Skyra's arm, Loadstone largely abandoned the ring and lashed out with his vambrace, magnetically bending it off his forearm and sending it flying toward Golem-Girl's face. As soon as it reached her he bent it around her face like a blindfold, hoping to at least impair her and buy the Heroes some time...IC: (NPC - Superbeing Smackdown)Realizing that his chances of getting Fellwyd to release the staff were largely nonexistant, and that he was beginning to feel a chill from the icy mist surrounding him, Mage transferred his telekinetic hold onto the alien himself, gripping him by the foot and wrenching it out from under him. He also began to make his way safely away from Fellwyd and out of the mist, keeping track of the alien's whereabouts via telekinetic contact.IC: (NPC - Tiltrotor landing by Exemplar)While waiting made it seem infinitely longer, a dull thrum resonated from the desert horizon roughly within the span of time Modem had promised the tiltrotor to appear. The craft appeared shortly afterwards, lowering itself down at a safe distance from Exemplar and letting its engines die into silence.A man appeared shortly from within the confines of the tiltrotor to meet with Exemplar. He was of moderate height and build, though he wore a heavy blue coat as if it were below freezing out instead of the baking desert highs. All his clothes were made for a heavy winter, though he still looked rather fashionable. His white hair was slicked back and had ice blue highlights methodically streaking down its length. His breath condensed as a thin cloud of icy mist in front of his face, building thicker for a moment as he spoke."You must be Exemplar; my name's Hale," he said, holding out a hand clad in a charcoal-colored glove with a white snowflake pattern printed on the back and thick rubber padding on the palm and fingers.~Lord Rahl~

OOC: Playing devil's advocate regarding the discussion of TradTheMentalist's plot, Mata Hari is only a receptionist so it's possible that the League doesn't have such tight security checks for such a menial position. Plus they may have had a big recruitment drive to help out after the invasion wrecked the world, etc... they're not perfect, there's bound to be a crack or two where a spy could have slipped in.IC(NPC) - Grand Cross @ The Coalition's Arctic Base: The co-leader of the Coalition of Corruption raised his beeping arm in front of his face. A communicator was attached to his wrist; he pressed a button and a small holographic figure flickered into view. It was Mata Hari."Your assassin didn't do the job. I was almost found out by Mentalist.""The assassin didn't do his job?" There was humour in Grand Cross' voice. "What about you? Your mission is one of utmost secrecy; you are supposed to be covering your tracks at every possible opportunity. There should be nothing for this 'Mentalist' to find out."OOC: TradTheMentalist, are there any specific orders you want Grand Cross to give? I could order some Coalition PCs after The Mentalist if you want.IC(NPC) - Golem-Girl @ The Foilocution Corporation: The villainness gulped gladly and deeply for a few moments after the vacuum was removed. Her grip on Skyra's arm lessened; at this point Loadstone's vambrace smacked her in the face and wrapped around her eyes, enough of a shock for Skyra to slip free of her grip entirely. However, given that they were all still in pitch blackness the metal blindfold was more of a facial irritation than a visual impairment. Golem-Girl launched a jet of acid in the direction the vambrace had come from. To those able to see in the dark the ring could be seen on her outstretched hand again; it was a metal ring (Loadstone's earlier magnetic attempts probably hadn't shifted it due to the fact her fingers were made of rock - it wasn't just going to slip off) set with a glowing orange stone. After launching the acid Golem-Girl began swinging her fists wildly in the direction of where Skyra had been. She was (correctly) assuming he couldn't see in the dark, and thus wouldn't be able to sense her punches coming.IC - Sluice @ Superbeing Smackdown: Mage attempting to move out of the icy mist actually eased Sluice's mind somewhat; she could just make the cloud follow the villain, and now he was far enough away that Fellwyd was no longer caught in its influence. At her mental command the temperature really began to drop - patches of frost started forming on Mage's clothing...

IC: Skyra - The Foilocution Corporation -Skyra most certainly could not see in total darkness, he was still on the floor catching his breath in fact. Suddenly he felt a something incredibly hard hit the back of his right shoulder. The impact sent him rolling a few feet on the floor. The punch knocked the wind right out of him. (Pun intended. :) )

NPC: Despite knowing he was setting himself up for another flash, Ultionis reactivated night vision and watched the target. Good, she was blinded too, and would be if the lights came back on. More importantly, he could see the ring on her finger. She was swinging her fists wildly and randomly, hard to get a lock on them, but there was one last trick up his sleeve. Not another grenade or some odd ammunition, but the result of years of hard work, training and experience. He closed his eyes, let out his breath, stood up and opened them again. For just a single moment everything seemed slow. Clear. The chaos of the fight felt far away. The ring was moving as if through molasses. He raised his gun and took aim naturally, letting his marksman's instincts guide his hand. He had one chance. One perfect shot. It was all he would need.BANG!(H-D)

IC(Fellwyd): As one might well expect from one whose foot has just been forcibly pulled out from under them, the alien fell rather heavily on his back, grunting as the air was knocked out of his lungs. As the mist moved to center more on Mage, it became abundantly clear that the alien's role in this fight was effectively over - unless Mage had another trick up his sleeve, the freezing mist would be sure to incapacitate him.

IC(NPC) - Golem-Girl @ The Foilocution Corporation: The bullet glanced off of the gemstone, shattering it - there was a flash of orange and the darkness disappeared from the room, returning regular lighting. All colour faded from the shards of the stone as they tumbled onto the carpet.Golem-Girl didn't seem to have felt this, for, having already laid one good hit on Skyra, she continued to swing her fists wildly in his direction...

NPC: Ultionis cursed again, ducking back behind the desk and switching off night vision once more. But the important thing was that this wouldn't happen again. With Golem-Girl's eyes bound and the lights back on properly the visibility advantage was now theirs. Once he finished blinking out the spots he could get back to the fight and they could end this game.(H-D)

OOC: Just an FYI stargatestaticTH, there's nobody in Egypt right now. If you want interaction your best bet is to head for the League HQ, which is a mansion in New York.IC(NPC) - Golem-Girl @ The Foilocution Corporation: As she felt the wind blast hit her chest the villainess planted her feet firmly, trying to stand her ground. Without really thinking she tried to send another acid stream in Skyra's direction, only for the substance to splash all over her (in doing that the presence of a ring on her other hand became apparent). The strength of the wind was increasing, and she tilted backwards from the force of it... one foot slid backwards, then another... then finally she succumbed, staggering and crashing (again) into the poor mess of broken filing cabinets."I don't know if I'm up against a bad bunch here or what. Back at HQ the other villains kept saying how fun it was to fight the League."She stood up, raised a leg, then stomped down with superhuman force. Force enough to shake the room and everything in it...

Real Name: Alex Laton

Alias:Tragedy(sometimes goes by Lord Death)

Appearance: he looks like your normal person, at a hight of about 5'6 and has dark black hair. he is also very pale, looking like a vampire. he wears a black jacket and black cargo pants, which have a lot of pockets to store stuff. and when in Hero mode, he wears a tragedy mask. in Villain for, he morphs into a werewolf-like state

Power:Shape shifting. he can take just about any form, but does not gain the mass. for example, if he morphed into a Rhino, he would weigh the same as he normally does. he also prefers animals over people, so he shapeshifts into animals more often. everytime he morphs, he gets tired, making it hard to shift many times in a short time. is also mentally unstable, martial arts skills(think a low-level MMA fighter)

Allegiance: Solo Hero and Villain(his mental state is what causes this)

Area:Hollywood, California

Bio: Alex's life could be called a few things, but the first that comes to his mind is a Tragedy. he was picked on a lot as a kid, and this caused him some much pain. if found his powers after his 13th birthday, at school. he was being picked on, as ususal, and just snapped. he morphed into a half wolf, half human and started to claw the bully. he stopped after a teacher walked around the corner and saw what was happening. the next day his parents put him in anger management classes. this help him control when he morphed if he was angry, but he would still go off if someone went to far. this caused him more hurt, as rumors started to fly at school. he decided to take martial art classes, thinking the dicipline of martial arts would help, and indeed it did. from his first shapeshift to starting MA, it was about a week. now fast forward about two years, and then it all hit the fan on his 15th birthday. Right after he blew out the candles, a man came up the door and knocked. Alex's dad when to get it, they heard gunshots, and then it was all blur from there. the last thing Alex remembers is a mangled corpse holding a gun, the taste of blood, and looking at blood-covered claws. after that, he ran from home. Nine years later and you have him as of now, on the run, drifting from one place to another. the attack however did not leave him unchanged. it caused a part of him to become very curel, and it is this part of himself that he calls Lord Death, because he kills everything in his path. Lord death only comes out if Alex gets very, very mad. the signs that Lord Death is about come out is if Alex starts to get bigger and hairer, then turns into a werewolf looking beast. he doesn't remember anything when Lord Death comes out.

OOC: Hate to keep arguing such a trivial point, Kumata, but I have yet to see the League allow citizens or anyone but tried and trusted members fill any position, menial or otherwise. Do they have designated pilots? Nope, members fill that position. I mean, it's even a League member who answers the door at Mentor's mansion; it's not like Allsight has that much else to do. Personally, I think that a receptionist isn't really that menial a position, given that they become the public front for the League to anyone coming in; also, whoever is placed in that job is going to be in the line of fire for Villains or madmen who come through. I certainly wouldn't put someone untrusted into that position; I'd put a League member, and I've always believed that a psyche evaluation was standard League recruitment procedure...IC: (Loadstone)"You might not have noticed it, babe, but the Coalition are arrogant madmen," Loadstone replied, twisting bands of the broken filing cabinets around Golem-Girl's arms and magnetically holding them back. "Of course they think it's fun. They're deranged." The forceful stomp threw Loadstone off balance for a moment, toppling him onto the floor. Twisting around as quickly as he could, he sent more metallic bands reaching toward the Villainess' legs...IC: (NPC - Superbeing Smackdown!)Fellwyd felt the grip on his leg slacken suddenly, then vanish entirely. Mage's voice called hoarsely from within the icy mist. "What s-s-s-sort of d-d-d-devilr-ry is th-th-this?!" he called out, his voice growing fainter as he spoke. "I w-w-w-w-w-will n-n-not b-b-be d-d-d-def-f-f-f-f-f-f..." At this point it seemed that he trailed off, croaking to himself about being the Mage but no longer loud enough for the others to hear him anymore. A moment more of silence confirmed that the wizardlike SuperVillain had indeed succumbed to the cold, and was most likely incapacitated...~Lord Rahl~

NPC: Luckily Ultionis was already on the ground at the time, on one knee behind the desk, or he would've been knocked on his back. As it was, the desk was sent rattling into his head, but it was a minor bump that actually helped clear up his vision. He looked up again just in time to see the other ring. Well, breaking the first had removed a major disadvantage. This one might shut off the threat altogether. He ducked again and activated the comm, speaking as quietly as he could while still being heard so Golem Girl didn't catch on. "Lodestone. A second ring. Try and get it off. If you can't, hold it still. I'll shoot."As much as he would have liked to, Ultionis did not have another of those bottled moments of clarity in him for at least a few more minutes. It put a strain on his mind. But if Lodestone could hold the ring still, even such a small target would be easy enough to hit. (H-D)

IC(Fellwyd): With the telekinetic hold on Fellwyd's leg gone, the alien stood up, and, leaning slightly on the staff for support, walked slowly towards his fallen opponent. While he felt humiliated at requiring assistance in hand-to-hand combat, he was not so much of a fool that he didn't recognize the necessity of it against a foe like Mage, who, it seemed, was impervious to direct physical attacks.

IC (Changeling - En Route to Location):Changeling sat silently in an armored League transport vehicle, twiddling his thumbs and fighting the queasiness building in his stomach. He looked out of the narrow slit of a window, protected by triple panes of bullet-resistant glass.Outside, the city flicked by, tall buildings visible on the horizon, pedestrians turning to see the armoured vehicle passing by. It was a rare sight to see such a League vehicle with such protection ripping down the roadways of the city. The rookie hero looked at the other super seated across from him. A powerfully built man of First Nations descent, the broad-shouldered super had joined the League shortly after the alien invasion, having been rescued from imprisonment by the Coalition. The other super wore a sleeveless black shirt made of a stretchy fabric, and military-style cargo pants. The large man looked stoic, arms crossed.Changeling glanced briefly at the other man, before returning his gaze out to the window. Sasquatch was somewhat well known, at least in Canada."Sasquatch, do you know what the mission is?" Changeling spoke tentatively. The other hero didn't look particularly comfortable in the vehicle either. "Maybe we're kindred spirits, a beast of the forest and a car-sickness prone student from London. I bet he has some great stories, and maybe he'll even take me as a mentee."The large man cleared his throat roughly. "Escort mission. Some hotshot international member of the League." The sentence was swiftly smothered by dead silence. "Oh wonderful..." Changeling paused awkwardly. "Do you know his name?"The other super looked mildly annoyed. "Yeah. Professor Perdition. Now would you pipe down? I'm trying to think." From the sigh of annoyance expelled by the older hero, Tylwyth could tell that the conversation was over.Unfortunately, the ride to airport in the claustrophobic transport was far from the same. "I think I'm gonna have to find a bag."OOC: A cameo return from the last RPG by the NPC Sasquatch. Why is he so glum? Well, let's just say that seeing the stuff he did in the Invasion hasn't left him particularly happy.

OOC: I thought Sasquatch sounded familiar!Lord Rahl - several heroes have joined the League during this RPG without a having full brain scan; I'd have thought that being recommended by another hero/having done numerous heroic deeds was the requirement. The League wouldn't rely on a psychic's verdict for the same reason I stated ages back that the courts don't just use psychics to determine the guilt of a defendant - if the psychic himself is corrupt them the whole system becomes useless. As long as Mata Hari can play the part of heroine and there's no obvious way of tracing her Coalition roots I'd have thought that would be enough. Besides, working as a receptionist means that she is surrounded by heroes 24/7 - it's not like she could just grab some important files and walk away with them, she'd have to work slowly, carefully. Since we haven't seen her do anything unrealistic for a spy in that position - when Mentalist found her out she just acted like he was crazy - I'm happy to accept it.IC(NPC) - Grand Cross @ The Coalition's Arctic Base: After a moment of thought, Grand Cross spoke again. "I will give you the benefit of the doubt; perhaps this hero is more capable than was previously thought. Continue your mission as normal. I shall send a more competent assassin his way."The co-leader of the Coalition deactivated his communicator, then pressed another switch. A small holographic ring of faces appeared; by twisting a dial on the device Grand Cross was able to scroll through them. They were the faces of every member of the Coalition - well, every member that carried a communicator. He stopped on one face and opened a new communications link."Grau. I have a new mission for you."IC - Sluice @ Superbeing Smackdown: Sluice strode cautiously over to the collapsed villain, then crouched down and felt his pulse. It wasn't the first time she had neutralised a villain this way, but she realised the danger if she overdid it even by a few degrees. Luckily Mage appeared to be simply unconscious. She glanced back to Pyroclast; the villainness was still trapped in ice. She'd noted before how focusing on the battle had filtered Showtime's echoing commentary out of her mind - now it was over, it suddenly blasted in the forefront of her attention: "A big hand for the the winners of this season's first match! Whirlpool! And! Fellwyyyyyd!"The audience burst into aggressive cheering, although the contrarians in the crowd hurled numerous insults. Sluice let out a long sigh; she was suddenly aware now of how hot and sweaty she felt. She sublimated the ice surrounding Pyroclast and Mage, summoned it over and then dumped it over herself. The crash of cool water was immensely refreshing.Showtime was striding onto the field, promising the audience more exciting matches soon, whilst Horace and Boris (the two burly Russian bodyguards who's confronted them at the entrance) arrived to haul the unconscious villains away. Sluice began to walk towards the tunnel exit."Are you alright?" She asked Fellwyd, noticing that the alien was keeping the weight off of one leg.IC(NPC) - Golem-Girl @ The Foilocution Corporation: Golem-Girl struggled and kicked; she squirted acid from her hand but could not twist it enough to target the metal bands holding her arms in place. She heaved with all her might - she managed to peel herself a few inches away from the wall for several seconds, but the intensity of the wind and magnetic force allowed no more. Then Loadstone finally managed to curl metal bands around her flailing legs, pinning her wholly to the wall. With a cry of anger the villainness went dejectedly limp...

Dieter Geist, Grau/Coalition Headquarters, Taking a Bath and Talking to Grand CrossIC:

Grau growled as he picked up his receiver. A guy couldn't even take a bath anymore with being interrupted. With a grunt, he mumbled, "Vhat is it? I vas relaxing here."

IC(NPC) - Grand Cross @ The Coalition's Arctic Base: "The time for relaxation is over. I have need of your skills - there is a hero that must be disposed of. Ready yourself and travel to the hangar; there will be a tiltrotor and details on your target waiting for you..."OOC: Can Grau pilot a tiltrotor?

OOC: For some reason, your description of his glove makes me think he's wearing an Imperial TIE fighter getup.IC: [Exemplar at the Tiltrotor landing]The dull 'thwump twump twump'of the tiltrotor's wings beating the air caught Bobby's attention. He looked up and saw the vehicle flying swiftly in from the horizon. In seconds it was moving into a landing position. Bobby lifted his hand to cover his face a bit from the air as it whipped dirt and dust and small stones about. His costume may have covered him from head to toe, but the fabric was not armor. It was simply a highly flexible and highly breathable material that kept his identity hidden. Other than that, it protected him from nothing. The engines came to a stop eventually and a man appeared. He introduced himself to Bobby and the teen shook the man's hand. "Aye, I'm Exemplar," he said to Hale, "Good to meet ya." He looked at the Tiltrotor then back to Hale, "So, I suppose you'll be taking me to the ice box?" he asked as he walked around the taller man and made his way to the vehicle.

"Vhatever," resonded Grau with a growl, ending the communication. He got out of the ice-cold water, dried off, and put on his shorts and tank top, along with equipping his swords and pistol. Then, grumbling, he made his way to the hangar.OOC: Er... why not? =P

IC: Skyra - The Foilocution Corporation -Skyra sighed, it looked like it was over. Still....Skyra was ready to send another stream of wind if she somehow managed to break free again. Skyra stayed lying on the floor, hoping that the blow to the back of his right shoulder hadn't broken anything, it hurt like heck.

OOC: Well if he can pilot on his own I don't need to have an NPC pilot him, so after this post you can carry on without me.IC - Coalition HangarWhen Grau arrived there was a recently-maintenanced tiltrotor with its door sitting invitingly open. On the pilot's seat sat a number of papers; they explained that Grau's target was a hero named Mentalist, listed his powers as 'psychic' (the Coalition didn't know his exact powerset) and noted his probable location as, strangely, a certain library...
