Some minor fixes/suggestions for the Elder Scrolls TBRPG:In the fourth line, under lore, I just want to point out that "god hood" is one word. This isn't a big issue or anything, but it would help the flow of the paragraph as a whole. And there's a missing period after the bolded "Oblivion" in the first paragraph.May I reccomend an "age" addition to the profile? As it helps understanding who a player is interacting with, especially if a player forgoes mention of character age in the backstory or personality. And, perhaps, include how old each race can become until death? Like, in many fantasy settings some races have longer lifespans than others and this would, likely, assist players for when they create their characters (as well as interaction with NPC's).Due to how minor these are, I'm not going to withhold approval here. So without further ado,Elder Scrolls TBRPG: Approved [2]Disney TBRPG: Approved [2]

Hosts: Me, Toast of Awesomeness, and The Dreadful Flying Glove.Gods. Deities. The world has had many. Every nation had their own pantheon, some stronger than others. Many wise souls have tried to understand these mystical beings, and finally, the two ancient laws of godhood were drawn up:The first law: Gods are formed from the worship of their followers, and can come into being at any time. The second law: When zeal and fervor for a god fade, and they are no longer worshiped, they will cease to exist.Thousands of years ago, the gods began to fall asleep. As the monotheistic religions spread, and the gods lost worshippers, which was what sustained them, they were unable to hold on to their power, and the world's pantheons collapsed, in accordance with the second law. However, some laws were meant to be broken.Fast forward to the year 1992. Gods still exist now- but not as before. These new gods came to the scene when the old gods had been dead for thousands of years. They are not as powerful as the old gods were, but they survive by representing things that mortals already worship without thinking about it- money, power, music, etc.But something happened in 1992. The strongest gods of the old Pantheons, the Aztec, Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Celtic, and Chinese, among others, reappeared. They had mustered their strength for centuries, and finally had the strength to appear, and regain their worshippers. Upon their reappearance, mortals began to worship the old gods, restoring their strength. Many theories have arisen as to how the second law, assumed true for centuries by those that knew the truth of gods, was so utterly broken. One possible explanation may be the gods never died, hiding themselves in the remnants of their culture. Another may be that interest in the old mythologies was able to recreate the gods. Whatever the case, the old gods are back.Of course, the new gods didn't like this. Fearing the great sleep, they formed Pantheons among themselves , groups of new gods working together, and revealed themselves as well. Now, humanity torn between the old gods and the new, sides have formed, lines drawn. The gods have replaced themselves in their home nations and the surrounding ones, while the New gods have set up shop around the world, wherever they can.But now, in 2012, that uneasy peace has come to an end. And the war of the gods shall be like any before.

GameplayWelcome to Pantheon, the RPG where the war of the gods has begun, and you must choose your fate. But what are you? Are you a demigod fighting for your father Zeus? Perhaps a troll forming an uneasy alliance with the Æsir? A magician wielding the power of Horus? Or are you a new god, defending your claim over the hearts and minds of men. There are many character classes to choose from, for any of our featured mythologies. The classes are:Mortal: You're a normal human. Have fun surviving! While you lack power, you can move around relatively undetected.Blessed mortal: Look at you, you've won the favor of a god! You won't be as high priority a target as a demigod, but you will have a degree of power granted by your patron(s).Magician: Well, look at you go. By talent, coincidence, or training, you have the ability to use magic. However, you're going to draw your strength and style of magic from one of the old pantheons, so look how magic is treated there to get an idea of what your character will be like. You're on about the same level as a blessed mortal, or perhaps a demigod.Demigod: Half god, half mortal. They perfect splicing of man and deity. You've got superpowers, basically, taking after your chosen parent. However, you will be seen as a high priority target, perhaps even among your own pantheon(Remember, Hera wasn't fond of Hercules).Monster: Ah, one of the god's critters. This is the most varied class, from Centaurs to Dragons to Trolls, anything non-human and non-god goes here. Your power varies, but so does the amount of people who want to kill you. And before you ask, no you can't play as Typhon. Keep it simple.God: Each player can have ONE god character, though the other classes are unlimited. And no, you can't play as Zeus. Minor gods from the Pantheons, or a new god of your creation.Gods are allowed to have armies of mortals or monsters, but remember, even though you're a god, there is such a thing as G-modding. You're not all-powerful, so don't assume you can single-handily kill everyone else.Examples: You could play as someone like Aeolus, or Crusher, the god of garbage.New gods are allowed to form Pantheons with other players, and you can have NPCs to fill in any holes- however, be careful. You abuse it, you lose it.NOTE: If you really want to play as a monster or Minor god from an unlisted mythology, run it by TPTI or me. We may let it slide if you have a decent idea for it- but be warned, you'll have few allies.PANTHEONSNote: This is only a partial list of gods. Others will be featured. Also, you can play as a character from an unfettered mythology, but you'll be on your own.The old mythologies we'll be featuring are:Egyptian: The ancient religion of Egypt, they control much of North Africa and the western Middle East. They have taken root in the deep south, headquartered around New Orleans.. They currently control the southeastern areas of Texas.Osiris: Osiris is many things. He is a father, a husband, a brother, a king. He used to be the highest of the Egyptian gods, but since his death that roles falls to any of a number of candidates. Now his throne is within the underworld, where the spirits of the dead are under his protection, and the demons of Duat are under his control...Ra: One of the oldest of the Egyptian gods, and possibly the most vital as Ra embodies the life-giving sun. It is his daily quest across the sky and struggles with the shadow-serpent Apep that bring light and order to the world.Set: One of, if not the most powerful god in the pantheon, Set wields the destructive forces of chaos, be it the sudden strikes of storm or the endless hunger of the desert. Originally a great protector of the gods (indeed his was sigil is still a defensive charm) he was corrupted by jealousy and greed, murdering his brother Osiris and usurping his position only to be dethroned in turn by Osiris' son Horus.Norse: The mythology of the Vikings has taken a large following in America, in addition to Northern Europe. They control most of the West and Midwest, and are moving into Texas fromthe western areas. Odin: Ruler of the Norse gods, Odin is an old and grizzled figure. He's a veteran of many a battle, having been present since the making of the world. He's also a cunning and conniving foe, outwitting and tricking people into going along with his secretive plans.Thor: Champion of the Nordic pantheon, Thor is the fiercest, the boldest, the mightiest. His hammer Mjolnir is the greatest weapon in the wars of the gods, an indestructible, unstoppable force of nature much akin to the god that wields it.Loki: A god despite being the child of two giants, Loki could be described as anything from "free spirit" to "malevolent trickster". He is fire, leaping and dancing, always flaring up just when you think you've quelled him.Greek: The Greco-Roman religion has spread along much of the Mediterranean, and the lower Northeast in the U.S. While they don't have the largest presence in the New World, they're expanding quite quickly, and are establishing control along the Gulf coast of Texas.Zeus: King of the Greek gods despite being younger than his brothers Poseidon and Hades, Zeus is fond of abusing his power to suit his own ends (in other words to chase women). Though when it comes to his siblings and offspring he does at least try to be fair when arbitrating their problems. Mortals...not so much.Poseidon: God the seas. And horses. And earthquakes. But don't think this lack of focus means he is a scatter-brained fool. Out of the three brothers he is arguably the most tempestuous, acting with fierce determination when acting upon his desires. It took Odysseus a full ten years to earn Poseidon's forgiveness.Hades: Often maligned as he rules the realm of death and shadows that is the Greek Underworld, Hades is arguably the most just of the three brothers. His constant presence in the Underworld means he isn't technically an Olympian, so he stays out of their quarrels, neither helping nor hindering. Despite the dark reputation, if Hades makes a deal he keeps it even if you get sneaky about it.Celtic: Though the ancient Celts controlled most of Europe, the rule of the Tuatha De Danann has been kept to the British isles and parts of France in Europe. In America, however, they quickly took Boston and the upper Northeast, and have become the rulers of the Appalachian region as well. They're moving into Texas fromArkansas, currently. The Dadga: High King of the Tuatha De Danann, the Dagda is a larger than life character full of vim and vigour. He is big and brash and some often mistake this for stupidity, but this is to underestimate a mind that is simply straightforward.Lugh: The Long-Armed, the Many-Skilled, Lugh is child to Formorian, Tuatha De and Fir Bolg alike. Despite his youthful appearance he is a veteran of conflicts and has become swift with wit and spear. The Morrigan: A goddess, or possibly something older and stranger, of bloodshed and battle. She can be cruel and spiteful, turning her powers to wreaking vengeance on individuals who insult her. She often lurks around battle fields in the form of a crow, gore dripping from her beak.Aztec: The Aztecs have returned to Mexico, and have quickly established their reign over Central America. While they're advancing from the Rio Grande quickly into Texas, a conflict with the Incas in South America keeps their forces divided.Huitzilopochtli: After springing from his mother's womb fully armed Huitzilopochtli proceeded to slaughter his siblings. He placed them in the sky as the moon and stars, taking the position of sun god for himself. And he's the good guy. As sun god it is Huitzilopochtli's job to hold back the darkness, to keep the sun alive in the sky. A shame he requires human sacrifice to sustain himQuetzalcoatl: The feathered serpent no matter which language his name is said in, Quetzalcoatl is an almost primordial deity of sky and land. It was his blood that helped give rise to this age of humanity and he has acted as protector and bringer of gifts ever since (to the extent that animal sacrifices are preferred to human ones). Tlaloc: If Huitzilopochtli stands the sun and Quetzalcoatl stands for maize then Tlaloc stands for rain. With the one hand he brings life and sustenance to crop and beat…but on the other he deals death with hail and storm. While not as outright animalistic as Quetzalcoatl, he often takes on small fangs and bulging eyes and occasionally demands human sacrificeAkkadian: The most ancient of the mythologies is spreading from Iraq into central Asia and parts of the Middle East. In America they've joined with the Egyptians in Detroit, and are moving from the north to bring Texas undee their rule.Enlil: Lord of Storms, and ruler of the Akkadian deities because he's the only one who can contact the great heavenly deity An. While Enlil will sometimes bestow blessings on humanity he can also be quick to anger, once using a great flood to nearly destroy humankindMarduk: A younger god, relatively speaking, and heir to the rulership of the Akkadian pantheon, Marduk is a god of vengeance and justice. It was he who struck down the dread monster Tiamat and her ilk, and not just through martial skills. For Marduk has just as much talent in the magical arts as he does the martial arts, using his sorcerous powers to leash winds and lightnings to his beck and callIshtar: A goddess of love and fertility but also war and violence, her passions run high. She will ruthlessly punish those who spurn or offend her. She has used her various connections to manipulate herself into a position of balance and power, friend to all but never to be trustedNow, down to actual gameplay:While there are two main factions, the old gods and their armies, and the new gods and theirs, it's not cut and dried. Each pantheon, and even each god sometimes, are not always team players. So you'll see infighting between pantheons as everyone tries to come out on top. It's messy, but it is what it is.While the gods have come out all over the world, many have blocked off their spheres of influence, preferring to stay apart. However, in Canada and America, the native American gods, for an unknown reason, have not returned. This has led to attempts by the gods to “colonize” the two nations. They have found their greatest support among the descendants of their people, so where an ethnicity is strongest is where they’re most likely to be. Major metropolitan areas are primarily the domain of the new gods now. While the war has broken out all over North America, this RPG will primarily take place where it started- Texas. With the Aztecs coming in from Mexico in the south, the Yoruba gods from Louisiana in the east, the Greco-Romans sailing in from the Gulf of Mexico, and the Egyptian, Norse, and Celtic gods coming from the north and west, it’s become a major battleground.PLAYING AS A GOD: When playing as new god, you will be able to join with other players to form a pantheon in charge of a city. The more players, the bigger the city. For example, you'd need at least five or so at the least to get New York(Of course, that's not in Texas, so it wouldn't be there anyway...) If you prefer to fly solo, you won’t be a very large city, and you’ll be weaker toy city conversion…CONVERSIONCity conversion is a change in territory following a battle between pantheons, new gods or old. An example of a conversion follows:

IC: A great flash appeared in Milwaukee, and a glorious golden toaster appeared, heavenly music emanating for it.The timer on the toaster clicked, and a man whose skin was a brown as perfect toast appeared. His eyes blazed red like the heated wires of a toaster, and he carried a giant bread knife."Hail! I am the Great God Billy, lord of toast! Beware my power! Milwaukee, I claim thee!"The residents were divided, some bowing down, others calling on the patron goddess of the city. She soon appeared."I am Bertha, goddess of jam. You dare attack my city?"[insert epic fight scene involving breakfast food][insert Billy winning]"Milwaukee is mine!" cried Billy.Meanwhile, Bertha's followers began an exodus from the city, following their goddess to a new home, though many began to worship Billy as their deity.

If your city's attacked while you're away, fear not! As that city's god, you can instantly teleport back. However, you'd better hope any monsters or demigods you have are home, cause you can't bring them. Yet another reason forming a pantheon with other players is a good idea. You can hold more than one city- however, it spreads your power thinner, and you have a larger area to watch. Better to have a few friends. Holding cities gives you worshippers, increasing your power. So, bigger the city or pantheon you have, the better you can defend yourself. However, this isn't an RTS game, so we're not going to throw in numbers. Just sort of play it by ear.Locations
texas.png

Old gods have taken over certain areas of the country, including parts of Texas. If you play as an old god, you'll be stronger in territory under your pantheon's rule. This can change through battles and player action. The Aztec’s territory is currently located in southern Texas, following the Rio Grande. The Yoruba have crossed the Sabine and taken some of Southeast Texas, while Egyptians and Akkadians from the midwest and Norse from the west are struggling over territory in Northwestern Texas. The Celts are coming in from the Northeast, while the Greco-Romans have sailed up to the Gulf Coast. Cities under the control of new gods currently include Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. (If you want to start your New god somewhere else, we’ll see what we can do.)RULES-Follow all the rules of our glorious website-Use IC and OOC.-Be nice. If someone's getting on your nerves, at least be polite about it. People have feelings, and it's best to remember that.-While romantic relationships between characters are allowed, anything beyond kissing is best left to be implied.-Don't god-moderator, even if you play as a god. You always have limits, but if you don't abuse them I'll be rather lenient.-Post your profiles once they've been approved by me or TPTI.-No zipping around long distances in one post. You need time to get places, at least in game.-Please don't IC in first person. You are not your character.-When sending me your profile, include the word "Almonds" so I know you read this.PROFILEUsername(What do we call you?):Name(Who's your character?):Age:Gender:Species(Include parent or dominion if demigod or god):Affiliation(Work for anyone?):Appearance(What do they look like?):Weapons(carry anything around?):Powers/skills(What can they do that's special?):Biography(tell us a little about them):

It's mostly evolved into voodoo, by now. And I really don't see the need for it. We wanted to make this a world mythology RPG. We haven't been able to represent Asia because all of those are major, followed religions- However, I would like to represent Sub-Saharan Africa. Even if some people still follow Yoruba, it's no very many. And really, we're not disrespecting it in any way.As no judge or other person has raised an issue about it, I would respectfully ask you to reconsider. :)

Well, would you just look at that?

Isn't it more respectiful to treat it as a valid collection of beliefs, in the same way as the old Greek religion, than to remove it? If you'll notice, nearly every mythology on there, excluding Aztec, is European or Middle Eastern. That's not representing the full scope of the world at all. However, I'll look into it with Power, and if we can find a no longer followed African mythology, I'm completely fine with changing it.EDIT: Yoruba has been replaced with Egyptian, which we moved. Map will be updated soon.EDIT 2: All necessary changes have been made.

Kid Icarus: Unanswered Prayers

Hey, Magnus speaking. I gotta keep this brief, ‘cause there’s barely any time to fill you in on what’s been going on recently. Alright, let’s see… You remember the war against Hades and the underworld, right? Pit and Palutena saved the day, knocking Hades out of the fight for good. So everything went back to normal, with the underworld armies not attacking anymore, the gods didn’t have to intervene in human affairs anymore, meaning that nobody really heard from them for a while. And then everybody lived happily ever after, right? Wrong. Dyntos called me and Gaol to his workshop, where he informed us of the news. Palutena, Viridi, Pit and the rest of those heavenly beings, they weren’t just taking a rest like we thought. They were gone. Disappeared without a trace. Even less powerful beings disappeared, like Dark Pit, Arlon, and Thanatos. Poof. Gone without a trace. Well… All except Phosphora and Pyrrhon. As soon as everybody disappeared, those… morons show up… Anyways, Dyntos implored me and Gaol to build up an army, for he feared the worst, and assumed that the Underworld was back. ‘Course the old buzzard was right, and soon after we got back to Gaol’s Castle, we were stormed by an Underworld onslaught. And that leads me up to the present. The army. The one that you seem interested in joining. Well don’t just stand there! There are tons of stuff for you to do! Go join the front lines, and fight against the Underworld Forces! Apply for the special ops team heading for that rumored angel up north! And, just between you and me, I heard Gaol talking about leading a secret mission to find out what happened to Viridi’s reset bombs. Finding those would be a great asset to our fight against the underworld. You don't know who I am. That's probably for the best. A while back, Pit, the servant of Palutena, took down Hades, controller of the Underworld Army. Of course, it was too good a chance to give up, so I stepped in to fill the void. I started rebuilding the forces, making them more powerful, creating an unstoppable army. Of course, I had to get rid of those who would stand in my way. Pit, Palutena, all those other gods? Gone. There's no-one left who can stop me. Except, when I attacked, the humans started fighting back. They have some kind of new hope. Rumor has it that there's a new angel, somewhere in the North. If the good guys beat us to it, I'm finished. We're screwed. So, that's why I have called upon you, the lowlife, the scum, the outcasts; join me. Fight against those who alienated you, who took away your place in their society. With your help, I will create a new world, a world in my own image, for all of us who they cast out. Those of us who were banished by the light shall shroud the world in darkness...IntroductionThis is a RPG based off the two Kid Icarus games, Kid Icarus and Kid Icarus: Uprising. If you’ve never played Kid Icarus Before, here’s the rundown. Pit is an Angel that serves the Goddess of Light: Palutena. Pit and Palutena fight against the forces of evil, keeping them at bay and protecting the Humans. Along the way, they’ve fought many gods, and allied with some. In Pit’s most recent adventure, he joined forces with Viridi(The goddess of nature) and the rest of her commanders, which includes, Arlon the Serene(Viridi’s personal Butler,) and Phosphora (Goddess of Lightning). Along the way, many things distracted Pit from his goal of defeating the Underworld, such as the mysterious Aurum, which were controlled by Pyrrhon(Self Proclaimed God of the Sun, actually just a deity. Ended up saving the day and sending himself and the Aurum into the far reaches of outer space to atone for his actions.) and Dark Pit, a clone of Pit, who was created by the Underworld, but rebelled and decided to follow his own path. Palutena and Viridi both empowered Pit to fight against the Underworld, allowing him to defeat Hades(Lord of the Underworld, God of the Dead) and save the Humans. After Pit saved the Underworld, Viridi withdrew her alliance with the two, and went off by herself. Kid Icarus: Unanswered Prayers happens roughly a year after the events of Kid Icarus: Uprising, during which a new mysterious being has gained control of the Underworld, and has also managed to put all of the gods This game will be run by Vorex: Shadow Master, and ‘Da Boss: BioBeast, with Pyrrhon and Pit: Arrow of Light as their assistants.Table of ContentsUse Ctrl+F to use this Table of Contents.Section 1: ‘Da RulesSection 2: The ProfileSection 3: Heavenly RewardsSection 4: Important LocationsSection 5: Species for UseSection 6: Deciding on your WeaponSection 7: Heavenly PowersSection 8: Staff Story Characters.Section 9: Join a FactionSection 10: Approved Profiles‘Da RulesAlright, now for the rules. Rewards can be anything, but will mostly be from this list. An improved weapon, Vehicles of the Gods, ‘Powers’ that you can use in battle, and higher authority on whatever side said character is on. Remember, these are not all the rewards that you can gain, but are probably going to be the most likely.Currency of the GameThe currency of this game is called, 'Hearts.' You can get hearts by doing odd jobs around a town, mugging random people, or helping to defeat the opposing armies. For reference, ten hearts equals one US dollar. You can use these hearts in any way you want, from bribing people, buying powers, to buying new and better weapons. A normal weapon costs about 200 hearts. The weapons only go up in price from that base value, however; capping at around 15,000 hearts for what would currently likely be the most powerful weapons; so you have to make sure you know when to spend your hearts, and when to save them.Important LocationsNow what would a RPG be, without any locations to play it in? Each location has a teleport pad, which can teleport you instantly to locations that are allies with you, which allows for easy travel.Gaol’s Castle Gaol's castle is rectangular in shape, but it is completely surrounded by a circular wall that has been built with large spikes jutting out of it. It also has multiple towers along its walls and the castle itself. The largest tower resembles a smokestack with a purple haze coming out of it, and is where the portal to the Underworld used to be hidden. The castle only has one bridge connected to it, and is otherwise inaccessible without the ability of flight. Inside the castle are many rooms, such as the Great Hall, the Interior Garden, and the Throne Room. Gaol’s Castle is the main fortress for characters that join up with Magnus and Gaol. Just outside of the castle are massive plains that extend for miles in all directions. Sharp, pointed mountains are abundant, with rivers flowing between them and pouring into deep, seemingly bottomless gorges.Reaper Fortress The Reaper Fortress is notable for being made almost completely out of bones, or at least sculptures that resemble bones. The main building itself is lined with animal skulls and massive, tusk-like structures that curve around the entire fortress. There are also two curving lines of pillars holding up what look like large vertebrae. These structures also support two towers standing on each side of a small bridge that leads straight to the entrance of the fortress. The main building, the pillars, and the towers are all lined with dangerous laser turrets. This is the main fortress for characters that join up with the Underworld. Aside from these primary enemies, the ravine itself is also littered with numerous obstacles and traps, such as jagged walls, heavy wind currents, and clashing stone surfaces that close in on intruders as they attempt to gain access to the Reaper Fortress.TownsThat First Town The first town that Pit visited after his twenty five year long vacation, That First Town is located at the center of a lush grassland with many hills, mountains and forested areas. There also appear to be farmlands on the outskirts of the town itself, which can be seen during flight. This human settlement is very flat in appearance and is made up of many smaller buildings, statues, and fountains. The most notable structure of this location is the large coliseum that overlooks the entire area. This is the location that is the closest to That Burning Town, seeing as they both are in the same valley, and the only place completely ignored by the warring factions. That Burning Town The town that was attacked by the Hewdraw, That Burning Town was taken by the Pyrrhon, and is where most of his recruits come from. That Burning Town is mostly flat, with an impressively big sewage system, and a nearby lake. It is the closest location to That First Town.Rewind Spring & City of Souls Rewind Spring The Spring has powers to reverse effects on a person chronically, though hinted that the effects can get weird if one stays in it for too long with one effect being that one may be erased from existence. The Spring is very hard to get too, and even though it is located in the Underworld, the forces of the Underworld have had a hard time gaining total control of it.City of Souls The City is the place where souls gather to find their final resting place. This is where most souls live, although it has been taken by Magnus and Gaol. This is where most Neutral/Good Souls live.Thunder Cloud Temple The Thunder Cloud Temple is an electrically charged temple located inside a storm. Although Phosphora has taken up residence in this temple, it was built long before she existed, and houses many secrets that only time will reveal. The temple sits on top of a floating island, which houses much more than the temple. There are multiple gardens to the left of the temple, which provides Phosphora’s army with their food. To the right there are barracks, which Phosphora uses to arm her forces, an arena, which is used for training her soldiers, and a fountain with an endless water supply, which she uses to keep her troops hydrated.Species for UseHuman Humans dominate the planet, and can be found in virtually every place of residence.(The only exception being the City of Souls, which currently only has Spirits living in it.) As a species, humans are physically, culturally, and politically diverse. Hardy or fine, light-skinned or dark, there are no two humans that are exactly alike.Spirit Spirits are a little different than Humans, seeing as they are a deceased person that can appear, in visible form, to the living. Spirits are Humans that had such loyalty to their faction, that even death itself could not stop them. Spirits are beings that should have died due to natural causes, but could not abandon their faction, which led to their physical body deteriorating, and their souls living on. Spirits gain slight power over one element, at the cost of being physically weak. Spirits have little to no stamina, are not strong at all, and are unable to pick up a club. They make up for this by having skin of the gods. Their skin is literally made up of an element,(which they can shoot from their hands as an attack) and can harm attackers. The strongest Spirit that ever walked the face of the planet was the Chariot Master, and he gained his power through multiple gods’ blessings. Spirits can have skin made up out of one of these elements:

  • [*]Stone[*]Fire[*]Electricity[*]Water

Underworld BaddiesMonoeye A one-eyed ghostly plasma. It flies through the air past enemies in groups. If one of them touches you, then you'll becomes paralyzed. Monoeyes have a paralyzing touch, and can fire energyballs from their one eye.Ganewmede Evolved from a Monoeye. It's a floating life form that builds its nest in fortresses. Ganewmedes can spit out large spiked balls, and cannot fly, only hover. They have a slight immunity to ranged attacks.Komayto A mysterious floating creature. Nobody knows where it came from. One theory has it that it came from a planet other than Earth. It's a nasty jellyfish monster that resembles the metroid from the Metroid Series. Komayto are completely immune to ranged attacks, and can hover about four-five feet off the ground. It's main attack is to attach it'self to it's opponent's head, and attack with it's tentacles.Keron A frog that was given wings by Medusa. It's a strong jumper and quickly flies at enemies. Keron use thier wings to float, but cannot fly. They can create harmful shockwaves when they land, and fire weak beams of electricity from their eyes.Handora Handora is made up of two monstrous hands joined by a spiked collar; one hand functions as the legs, skittering about on its fingers, while the other functions as the body, firing bursts of small bullets out of its single eye. Handora are fast, and can shoot small bullets out of it's eye as stated above. The only downside is that they are extremely easy to take down, and have little stamina.Deity Deities are very special species, since they can stand on the same level as gods. Deities look just like gods, and can prodject themselves as a god, but do not have the same variety of power that gods have. Deities can control one specific thing, while gods can control many different things that would fall under their command. Deities can come in many different varieties, but all of them have these things in common. (Deities will be given out to good RPers, but for now this is just here to explain the differences between a god and Deity.)

  • [*]Deities can control the elements. (EG: Pyrrhon can control fire since he is a deity, but fire spirits can only shoot small blasts of it from their hands.)[*]Deities can fly for an unlimited amount of time.[*]Deities all have a large ego. (There is the odd one out occasionally, but since this is a general thing for Deities, I decided to put it here. )

Deciding on your WeaponWeapons are the things that make the world go round in this game. Pick what class of weapon you want, and then what weapon from that class. If you want your weapon to have modifiers, like a +4 to Strength, or two stars melee attack modifier, PM BioBeast, Vorex, Pit: Arrow of Light, or Pyrrhon. (Since we’re using weapons from the game, I’ve put links to the weapon class pages on the wikia below.)ArmsArms have very small range, being used primarily for melee attacks. But they do have a strong melee attack, and a regular ranged attack. This is the weapon for the kind of guy who likes to melee all his fights, but occasionally get a quick ranged attack in on a passerby.BladeBlades are the normal weapon, the one that a jack of all trades could pick up and weild. Blades do not effect you at all, nor do they have a special trait. They just shoot energy beams, and slash.BowBows are more of a ranged weapon, with above average range, and a high ranged attack power. It has normal melee damage, and doesn't effect your speed. The downside to using a bow is that you can only fire three times before you have to reload. For all other weapons, there is no reloading, but bows gain this downside to make using them fair.CannonCannons are for those people who prefer ranged attacks over melee, but still like to be able to hit nearby enemies. Cannons have awesome explosive power, for near and far projectile attacks. The down side is that they slow you down a lot, and have weak melee attacks.ClawsClaws are a speed based weapon. Claws are strange, in the fact that unlike most weapons, not only does it not decrease your speed, it increases it. Using heavenly technology built into the claws, claws actually enhance the user's speed. Most claw user prefer to use their weightlessness to dash around slower enemies, getting in multiple melee combos or ranged attacks in before the enemies notices that they're even there. Of course, this means that Claws have melee and ranged attack power, and average range, which is quite a downside to using a claw.ClubClubs are the strongest melee weapons in the game. Other than charged shots, they have no ranged capability. They make up for that with raw, brute strength. They slow you down more than any other weapon class, but in return give you awesome melee power, and an above average charged ranged attack.OrbitarsOrbitars are a strange weapon, unique in many ways. For one, they float above your shoulders, making it so that they don't hinder your speed at all. Orbitars also shoot two projectiles at a time at a rapid pace, making it harder for enemies to dodge. They have average ranged strength, and weak melee strength.PalmPalm's make people with horrendous aim smile. These weapons' strength is their homing capability. They can be fired in the opposite direction, and then home in on the enemy behind them. This is not without a cost though, a Palm has only average ranged stregnth, and below average melee strength.StaffThe Staff is the Sniping weapon in this game. With horrendous melee capabilities, and only above average ranged attack, you might think this weapon class worthless. But no, it has fast shooting abilities, and an amazing range. By the time people get to a range where they can attack you, they'll most likely already be dead.Heavenly PowersPowers are a very important part of this RPG. They are blessings granted to you by the gods, which allow you to perform feats thought only possible by Angels. Powers will be granted to characters as the story progresses. All members of factions can use Celestial Fireworks.

Angelic Missile: Allows player to transform into a missile that shoots in the direction you're facing.Aries Armor: Reduces damage received, and prevents status effects.Brief Invincibility: Completely protect yourself from enemy attacks for a short amount of time.Bumblebee: Dodges most attacks by vanishing and circling around the enemy in an instant.Burn Attack: Attacks light foe on fire, which causes on-going damage faster than poison.Celestial Firework: Celebrate your patron by launching a firework into the air.Confuse Attack: Attacks inflict a confused status on a foe, which makes it stumble about unpredictably.Counter: Avoid getting knocked back and automatically counter attacks when hit by enemy attacks.Effect Recovery: Dispel effects like poison or paralysis. Explosive Flame: Set off a massive explosion that hurts the user and the foe.Freeze Attack: Attacks inflict a frozen status on a foe, which makes it unable to move for a little bit. Ice is fragile though, so one hit will release the foe.Heavenly Light: Unleash a light that hurts nearby enemies.Homing Boost: Improve the homing ability of shots.Invisible Shots: Make the shots you fire invisible.Jump Glide: Allows player to glide whenever they enter the air.Land Mine: Plant an invisible bomb on the ground.Libra Sponge: Use attacks received to increase the strength of your own attacks, does not negate damage taken from afore mentioned attacks. Lightweight: Increases movement speed in exchange for taking more damage when hit.Mega Laser: Allows player to fire a massive laser.Meteor Shower: Release a deluge of shooting stars onto the ground in front of you.Paralyze Attack: Attacks inflict paralysis on a foe, which can stop its movement and make dodging harder. Petrify Attack: Attacks inflict petrifaction on a foe, which makes it unable to move.Poison Attack: Poisons foes with attacks. Slowly damaging the foe.Random Effect: Adds a random effect to attacks, such as poison, paralysis, shaking, freezing, etc. Reflect Barrier: Create a barrier that reflects attacks.Rocket Jump: Allows player to jump slightly higher than usual, but it sends people flying back when they leave the ground, and sends shockwaves through the ground when they landSky Jump: Allows player to jump much higher than usual.Slip Shot: Fire shots that pass through walls.Super Armor: Increases defensive strength and prevent getting knocked back when receiving damage.Super Speed: Allows player to run extremely fast and knock weakened foes into the air when you bump into them.Tirelessness: Run continuously without tiring for a given amount of time. (Time is based on who blesses you with this power.)Trade-off: Use nearly all stamina to increase all attributes. The duration depends on how much stamina you had when you used it.Transparency: Turn transparent, making you invisible to enemies.Throwing Boost: Increase the homing ability and distance of projectiles by a little.

Staff Story CharactersMagnus:

Name: MagnusSpecies: HumanGender: MaleAppearance: Magnus’s right arm is wrapped partially in cloth, while his left arm is decorated with a notably large tattoo that extends all the way to his neck. He also has somewhat long hair and wears a pair of strong boots that allow him to kick his enemies aside with little effort. In addition to these features, he also wears a sort of necklace made up of many different rocks and stones. The blade that Magnus uses is actually quite thick in addition to being sharp, yet he can swing it with great precision despite it being so bulky. The end of the sword's hilt is also decorated with a curved piece of metal that matches the rest of the blade. Magnus's appearance is considered quite attractive by most female sapient beings.Voice: A rough ‘n tough bass; Magnus's voice strikes fear into his enemies, and inspires his comrades.Dominant Hand: LeftPowers: Super Speed, Libra Sponge, Trade Off, and Super ArmorAbilities: Magnus has gone through intense training, making him the only one able to run at a reasonable speed while wielding a ‘club.’ (Translated to Uprising Player’s terms: He can wield Magnus’s club while running at a blade’s speed.) He also has immense stamina, allowing him to sprint much longer than most.Weapons/Equipment: (1) Magnus’s Sword- This sword is at the top of its class in melee power and even boosts the speed of its user. Its shots have barely any range, making it a rarely used weapon for ranged fighting and exclusively suited to close combat.Fighting Style: Magnus is a calculating fighter, he switches from charged-long-ranged attacks to close-range beatdown tactics in the space of roughly one or two milliseconds. Although he usually attempts to play it safe, wanting to keep his soldiers safe, Magnus will take a risk if need be. Magnus sometimes uses super speed, along with Libra Sponge and Super armor to rush up to his foes, then bean them into the ground with his enhanced attacks. If he is forced to go on the defensive, he will parry attacks with all he has and/or dodge as he searches for an opening.Weaknesses: Magnus does have a weakness, but we can’t have you guys go around abusing his weakness through meta-gaming information, now can we?Hearts(The Currency): 900,000Other Possessions: -A sarashi (The Male version. Duh.) -A necklace made up of many different rocks and stones.Home: Decimated Town(Former), Gaol’s CastleAffiliation: Former ‘Dark Lord’ Gaol, Lady Palutena, Pit, Dark PitAlignment: GoodBio: Gaol and Magnus used to be mercenary partners, but Gaol's weak heart made her appeal to the UnderWorld army. Magnus is a tough fighter because he lost his child to the Underworld forces, however the details of this event, and most of his history, are unknown. Other: Magnus is always searching for his lost child, hoping that he/she somehow survived their apparent death.Theme Music: "Magnus’s Theme” - Yuzo Koshiro

Gaol:

Name: GaolSpecies: HumanGender: FemaleAppearance: Gaol wears knight-like armor over her entire body, to the point that only her green eyes are visible. She has a green aura radiating from her hands, and wears a large red cape. Her most notable features are the two massive horns that extend from her helmet. In addition, it appears that the pattern on her cape is made up of numerous eyes. Without her helmet, it is revealed that she is a blonde-haired woman. Voice: Gaol uses a synthesized baritone while wearing her armor, but switches to a Mezzo-soprano when not wearing the helmet.Dominant Hand: AmbidextrousPowers: Reflect Barrier, Heavenly Light, Angelic Missile, Mega LaserAbilities: Gaol uses what most would call ‘Dark Magic’ to fuel her attacks. Her magic is fueled by her armor, which in turn is fueled by the Dark Lord who originally forged the suit.Weapons/Equipment: (2) Gaol wields two Gaol Blades, blades forged from the same cursed material as her armor, one in each hand. She seems to be the only one capable of wielding more than one weapon at a time.Fighting Style: Gaol uses a mixture of ranged attacks and melee attacks to confuse the opponent, mixing strong , deadly attacks with weak, faster attacks.Weaknesses: She has one, but I’m not telling you.Hearts(The Currency): 500,000Other Possessions: -Dark Lord Helmet -Dark Lord WeaponryHome: Gaol’s CastleAffiliation: Magnus, Medusa, Palutena, PitAlignment: GoodBio: Gaol was a childhood friend of Magnus, and the two fought monsters together as part of the same mercenary group. She volunteered to spy on the Underworld Army, but was captured and forced to wear the cursed armor of a dark lord, making her into nothing more then a slave to the very evil she had fought against. When defeated by Pit and Magnus, Gaol's armor falls apart with her face revealed. She was later called by Dyntos to test Pit, and defeated by the angel once again. Gaol was then called by Dyntos once again, a year after Hades defeat. After meeting with Dyntos, her and Magnus returned to her castle, and began raising an army to take down the new leader of the Underworld army.Other: N/ATheme Music: "Dark Lord Gaol’s Theme” - Yuzo Koshiro

Leader of the Underworld:

Name: SanarasarSpecies: UnknownGender: Assumed to be MaleAppearance: Although no-one has seen him, many rumors suggest what he may look like. None seem to agree on anything, with them ranging from a giant human to Hades' identical twin.Voice: An English baritone.Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous.Powers: ???Abilities: The Leader of the Underworld has many abilities, most of which have not even been seen yet. What is known is that he can control the forces of the Underworld, and has some way of creating them without recycling souls.Weapons/Equipment: The leader of the Underworld has weapons, but nobody knows what they are as of yet.Fighting Style: Although technically no-one knows this, the Leader of the Underworld's fighting style consists of weakening his opponents by hitting them from a distance, and then getting in close and finishing them off with Melee attacks.Weaknesses: He has one, it just isn't known.Hearts(The Currency): 900,000Other Possessions: Unknown.Home: N/AAffiliation: The Underworld. Pyrrhon:

Name: PyrrhonSpecies: DeityGender: MaleAppearance: Pyrrhon is akin to a strong head superhero-like character, with a large ego and surprising intelligence, although the latter two traits do conflict with each other sometimes when Pyrrhon talks, and seem to take turns, both rarely appearing at the same time.. His skin appears to be red, with orange lines crossing all over his body. When using his pyrokinesis, Pyrrhon appears to be on fire, with a green glow surrounding his skin.Voice: A smooth baritoneDominant Hand: Ambidextrous.Powers: Explosive Flame, Burn Attack, Mega Laser, Meteor ShowerAbilities: Pyrrhon has many abilities, some of which are pyrokinesis, and flight. He also is the only known being with a link to Divinipedia.Weapons/Equipment: (1) Pyrosnake – Pyrrhon’s weapon. A palm that makes his arm look like it has a snake wrapping around it. It's rather slow shooting, but it shoots fire snakes. (1)Pyroblasters – Pyrrhon’s upgraded weapon. These Orbitars look like miniature suns and fire off explosive fireballs.Fighting Style: Pyrrhon usually fights by blitzing his opponent with fire, using no real strategy. He just throws fireball after fireball, sometimes using his Pyrosnake and Pyroblasters to soften up his enemies.Weaknesses: Pyrrhon has a huge ego, making him easily goaded into doing foolish things or tricked into helping others.Hearts(The Currency): 100,000Other Possessions: -Pyroblasters -Pyrosnake -PURE AWESOMENESS!Home: N/AAffiliation: Aurum, and also Pit, who he sees as a friend, despite trying to have killed him.Alignment: PyrrhonBio: Pyrrhon’s history is mostly unknown. He claims to be the sun god, but nobody is really sure if he is a god, or just a being with fire powers. He allied with Hades, Viridi, and Palutena to fight against the Arum, but betrayed them and took over the Arum brain. After being defeated by Pit, Pyrrhon pushed the Arum brain to the outer reaches of the galaxy, and returned, claiming to have deserted the Arum. After returning, he seems to have picked up a slight lapse in memory at times, in which he starts speaking things he doesn't remember. These are often technological, and use we instead of I, or Pyrrhon. It is likely caused from exposure to the Aurum Brain. After running around and burning things a bit, he and Phosphora joined forces.Other: Pyrrhon is the only deity whose location is known. He is allied with Phosphora, who is the only god whose location is known.Theme Music: "Pyrrhon’s Theme” - Yuzo Koshiro

Phosphora:

Name: PhosphoraSpecies: GoddessGender: FemaleAppearance: Phosphora has yellowish blonde hair with orange ends, purple eyes, and overall is similar in appearance to her look in Uprising; however, she has more of a jacket, and her shorts are a little longer. Voice: She sounds like Phosphora does in the game.Dominant Hand: Right HandedPowers: Lightweight, Bumblebee, Playing Dead.Abilities: Phosphora is extremely fast; however, can be caught off guard if someone avoids her initial attack. She also has lightning powers, is able to at least hover, and can power places that she has occupied.Weapons/Equipment: Phosphora typically fights with her hands, however, she does wield a blade that resembles a bow, and can function similar to one for ranged combat, though can also function as a normal Blade for melee combat.Fighting Style: Phosphora prefers to hit fast; preferring hits that could add up, to brute force. If really needed, she drops her weapon and simply fights with her hand to allow her speed to reveal itself.Weaknesses: Since her defeat by Pit, she has had an injury that reduces her speed to manageable levels; something she wishes to fix in the future, however, allows her to fight on more of an equal ground to humans.Hearts(The Currency): 1,000,000; due to her fighting off enemies for many years both during the events of Uprising, and afterward.Other Possessions: The Lightning Chariot.Home: Somewhere on Earth.Affiliation: Phosphora once knew Pit and the others, and was one of Viridi's commanders. However, times have changed, and that no longer applies, for multiple reasons.Alignment: Pyrrhon & Phosphora, for obvious reasons.Bio: Phosphora was once one of Viridi's top commanders, and fought Thanatos to help defeat the Underworld Army four years ago; however, with her disappearing with all the other Gods and Goddesses, and with the Underworld Army appearing once more, she has taken a more neutral approach to the war, in an effort to try and figure out something else: If there is anything odd about the world, and some of the reasons why the gods really did disappear. However, she prefers to stay away from the Human army, due to having different goals. That said, she has joined up with Pyrrhon, seeing as he has similar goals, though finds his amnesia and personality shift slightly odd.Theme Music: Lightning Battle Theme

Join a FactionFactions are all over the place, but these are the most important ones in the war. Of course, you don’t have to join one of these, but it is ill advised to not join a faction. The Human Army The Human Army represents the people who still believe in the gods, the good in the hearts of the People. They house themselves and their army in Gaol’s Castle, and form their courses of action. They are the faction that cares for the survival of both the gods and the humans. Like the name suggests, the Human army is mostly made out of Humans, although Spirits have been known to join.Underworld The Underworld wants what it’s always wanted. To wipe out all forces of light, and all that oppose them. The army is mostly made up out of Monsters created by the leader of the Underworld, although they have decided to start recruiting, meaning that some Spirits and Humans have joined the ranks.Pyrrhon and Phosphora Pyrrhon and Phosphora just want to survive and figure out what’s going on. This is the Neutral faction, made up out of anything and everything. Some of the forces of Nature joined, and some Humans and Spirits joined. This is where you want to go if you don’t want to get involved with the Underworld or the Human army.Approved Profiles All approved profiles will be added here, for your convenience.EDIT: Edited to include Armageddon's suggestions.

You lose me at the intro straight away. I have no idea who most of of these characters are, so why should I care that people like Viridi and Arlon have gone missing? No, don't just tell us to look at a wiki, you should be explaining the general theme of the world to us. You might want to sort out the coding for those profiles. The whole thing has been clumped together which is really messy, especially with the odd splashes of purple and blueEehhh, not a fan of listing specific powers people can have like that. You don't really need the list, just tell people what powers they got and what they do once they get given them. If you are determined to keep it, put the powers in some kind of order, alphabetical or by how powerful they are, because its hard to find ones you're looking for when they're scattered like thatIf we have money, how do we earn more and what are we supposed to spend it on?That bio for the leader of the Underworld (is his name supposed to be hashes or has a filter done that?) is uninspired. Heroes are only as good as their villains and all the players would have for conflict is this generic-sounding Evil Overlord stereotypeSince you only list humans and spirits as playable species, can we not be monsters if we choose to side with the underworld?

Just because I'm helping out as one of the lesser hosts, and because I, well, have a lot of knowledge of the world it's in...1. Why you don't know them: Because half of them are technically a spoiler to a rather large plot twist in Uprising.(Which is a game on the 3DS, which is probably why you're not familiar with them also) Why you should care: Because all the gods and god-like beings are gone. Those are simply examples of the characters from the game, who fit the power profile.Gonna leave the second line of the paragraph for Biobeast or Vorex to answer. thinking now, maybe there should be a slight summary of the situation from Uprising, since probably not everyone will have played it.2. I pointed that out in the planning topic, but I think it was skipped over. >>'5. There's an entire faction you're missing. =P And no, those hashes aren't filter marks, it's to protect the identity of the leader, since, well, his identity isn't known. It's similar to how I hid the identity of the Army of Darkness' leader in the LoZ RPG; except, this time there's actually a profile for the guy, ahead of time(Which reminds me I still have to make profiles for those chars...). But again, there's an entire faction, and whole possibilities for external conflict between both side, since, as Phosphora's bio says, she wishes to find out what happened to the gods... However, her goals, and the humans' goals, are definitely not in sync, since the humans ravage the earth.I'll leave the rest for the main hosts, and of course, they probably would overrule me if needed. If I shouldn't post even if I'm one of the four co-hosts, just let me know, and I'll watch from the distance. =)

1: The characters are from a 3DS game, Kid Icarus: Uprising, as Blade says. Those characters would seem important if the universe was known to the player. Basically, they are the 'gods' of the in-game universe. I will add a 'back-story' bit.2: I apologise for not explaining the theme of the world, there. *Glares at BioBeast*It isn't a really well-known thing, but I can edit it and put in an explanation.3: I will have to have a chat with BioBeast about the profile coding...4: The powers are listed as they are the same powers available in the game. Also, I apologise for the powers not being properly ordered. (I would mention someone's name, but by this point you'll just think I'm making up excuses)5: Think about it sort of like how you think about widgets in the BZPRPG. They are there, they are sometimes used, but they don't play a big part. You would earn the currency through participating in 'staff quests' either as main parts of the plot, or quests that you personally request.6: The main reason it's uninspired is because barely any information to be given. He is quite unique (in my opinion) but, due to the storyline, I'd prefer if he was pretty much kept a complete mystery for now. Also, the hashes are there because I'm not putting in his name. Once it's gotten into the game, he'll be appearing more, showing his personality, etceteras. Also, if it gets approved eventually, I will have a high-up character who is pretty much the right hand of the Underworld's leader, so there should be more than just the generic Evil Overlord.7: In the Kid Icarus games, the monsters are pretty much mindless drones. They can't think, they don't do much... they're sort of like the Rahi of the BZPRPG, except evil.I hope this clears things up, and I'll start working with BioBeast to fix up those things that you mentioned.EDIT: I edited the original post, and I think I've included all of those suggestions.

You might want to run it through something to check your grammar, at least in at Introduction paragraph, because that could do with sprucing up. Also, not a problem, but when you mention the 'new angel in the north' I can't help but think of this :PI don't really see why you need two profiles. Information like whether your character is right or left handed is a bit superfluous and could just be fitted into the regular profile if people really wanted to. Its especially glaring in the staff profiles where the Lord of the Underworld, who no-one can describe, is apparently confirmed as ambidextrous. We have no idea what he looks like, but as long as we know he can use both hands equally :rolleyes:Also, hearts, you still haven't mentioned in the RPG how we're supposed to earn them or what we're supposed to spend them on. Can we upgrade weapons or buy new powers? And what exactly is a reasonable amount? The profile characters range from 100,000 to 1,000,000 so we can't judge from thoseWhen going over what weapons, you should really give a brief explanation of them, maybe what advantages and disadvantages each one has. You could link to the wiki in their names, then follow with a description. If Heavenly Powers are only given out as rewards rather than something people can pick, why do you need to explain them in the post? Can't you just tell people what they have when you give them out?I still think you need to give us something about the Lord of the Underworld, because otherwise he just isn't very compelling. As is, he's just a Saturday cartoon cliche, someone who's evil because you need someone to be evil

BioBeast wrote the first one, and it's meant to be an impression of a canon character who has never been grammar's #1 fan. XP :lol:We decided that there should be a low detail, basic profile, and then if someone wanted to put in enormous amounts of detail they could do so. And I wanted to make him ambidextrous. :PI thought they were mentioned in the Heavenly Rewards section...And that's mainly because those are staff profiles, and the other staff (staff includes BioBeast and me as Head GMs, and Pyrrhon and Pit: Arrow of Light as staff minions) put in their hearts. I will discuss the stuff about the hearts with BioBeast, though. The hearts are pretty much useless at the moment, but later people should be able to buy weapons.Y'see, that's the thing. The weapons are the same weapons from the game, and, unfortunately, the game weapons are near enough infinitely variable. While weapons would have basic stuff, that's for individual weapons rather than weapon types, and Bio wanted to include modifiers as well, which mean that weapons can have pretty much any advantage or disadvantage depending on what modifiers the player gets permission from the staff to use.I assume it would make sense if they knew what they were, and what to expect when they were given out.Well, in the villain introduction, he's the one doing the talking, which means that we at the very least know that he wants revenge on the humans and gods for some reason.EDIT: I removed the high detail profile and added a section on hearts. :) Edited by Vorex: Shadow Master

Idea for the weapons thing; what about adding some descriptions of what type of weapon does what? It'd be rather long to include 9 categories with 12 weapons each, but at least having a description of the types(Like that claws are more melee based, but typically shoot quick shots and are the lightest weapon type) might do well there.

You still mention two profiles when you only have one so you'll need to clean that up.You said earlier that underworld creatures were too stupid to make characters, but they're listed under playable species, so does that mean we could be an underworld creature or deity if we wanted? And of course, I'm still asking for some more detail on the Leader of the Underworld. It just bugs me that you're going to tell us he's ambidextrous and has 900,000 hearts (why does he need those anyway?) but aren't going to tell us his brand of combat (by the sound of it he has fought before so someone must have witnessed it, or has anyone who challenged him been quietly led to a sealed room to have their duel) or even a name. If he's a character the players would recognise then just give him a false one, like Sedah or something so people don't have to type Leader of the Underworld all the time

2. Deities' playable status is actually listed in that section; they go to good RPers, they're effectively the reward of the RPG, like faster evolutions in Pokemon: Rise of the Rockets, or so.3. The hearts are so he can outfit his army, likely. =P Though, for the name, that would be nice, but again, I'm a lesser minion, so that'd probably be Vorex's call, or BioBeast's.

1: *Facepalm*2: Deities will likely become playable later in the game, and like Blade says, would likely only be given to the best of RP'ers. As for the Underworld monsters... I'm not entirely sure why they're in there, BioBeast had made the little species bits, he got me to copy-paste them into that section, I probably should've checked that over. I'll check with Bio, and if they won't be available it'll go on to my list of things to fix.3: I'm working on a name for him, and I put the hearts there because, in most societies, money = power. If he has money, he has power. Also, I wanted to give him hearts in case of an emergency.EDIT: Checked with BioBeast, underworld monsters are playable. As are deities.

Fleeing the now lifeless planet, Optimus Prime and his crew of Autobots, Transformers seeking the peaceful restoration of Cybertron, are pursued across the cosmos by Megatron and his Decepticons, who are dedicated to the conquest of the galaxy, in their search for the Allspark, the artifact that gives all Transformers life. However, for some Transformers, there is still hope. A planet known as Nibiru has been discovered in a star system not far from Cybertron. Through the use of telescopic imagery and radiation analysis, it has been concluded that this planet contains Energon, the source of power for all Transformers, in great abundance. In response to this discovery, Autobot scientists have secretly begun the construction of a new Space Bridge made of components recovered from the defunct, broken Bridges to transport a crew to this new planet. Upon the completion of this new bridge, an Autobot ship known as the Titan is constructed and promptly sent through the bridge with a crew of Autobots led by General Grindcore, but they are pursued by a troop of Decepticons under the command of Magmatron in the Shadow Striker. Both ships sustain heavy damage in the ensuing battle and crash land on Nibiru. Both crews salvage the equipment from their ships, the Autobots constructing their headquarters along the East coast of the planet’s main continent, while the Decepticons construct theirs in the West. They discover that Nibiru has an ocean composed of fresh water and atmosphere composed mostly of oxygen, which allows the planet to sustain various primitive, unintelligent life-forms. Mining operations begin almost instantaneously, and battles occur across the entire continent and beyond.Meanwhile, on Cybertron, the Decepticons construct their own spacebridge. More ships are sent to Nibiru by both factions, expanding the armies on both edges of the continent. The battle for Nibiru has begun, which side will you choose?

Map:

4om1k.jpg

Cybertronia: The main continent. In the center lies a treacherous mountain range known by the Decepticons as the Underworld mountains and by the Autobots as the Slaughter mountains. Within the mountain range is an even more treacherous jungle home to massive insects and spiders with mandibles capable of slagging even the toughest armor. Its climate is mostly warm and humid with tropical forests spanning most of the landmass.

Kaos Islands: An Island chain that the Decepticons have their optics set on. It is rich with as-of-yet unclaimed Energon deposits. Its climate is drier than the main continent.

Matrix Archipelago: An archipelago that the Autobots are preparing to settle. Like the Kaos Islands, it is rich with Energon. Its climate is slightly colder than the main continent.

New Iacon: The Autobot settlement established after the Titan crashed. It is home to the majority of the Autobot forces. It's small for now, but Grindcore is looking to expand it.

New Kaon: The Decepticon settlement established from the wreck of the Shadow Striker. This serves as more of a military base than a settlement.

Roads: roads have been built to reach the various mining operations across the continent.

Autobot Mining Operation: these Energon deposits are being mined by the Autobots.

Decepticon Mining Operation: Likewise, these Energon deposits are being mined by the Decepticons.

Unclaimed Energon Deposit: These Energon deposits have yet to be claimed by either faction.

Rules:

1. You must post IC when you are speaking “in character,” and OOC when you are speaking “out of character.”

2. Don’t take control of other players’ characters without their permission.

3. Don’t kill other characters without the owner’s permission.

4. No god-modding. You can’t ignore physics and you especially can’t ignore your characters’ weaknesses. this includes auto-hitting.

5. Double posting not allowed. Period.

6. Not necessarily a rule, but remember that your characters aren't vastly superior to enemy NPC's. This means that your character can't just plow through the enemy's army.

7. And as always, all regular BZPower rules apply.

Character Rules:

1. Try to avoid size changing between modes. (IE a Leader can’t shrink down into a tape recorder when he transforms)

2. Keep your character’s weapons realistic. I don’t want to see Scouts and Scientists using giant gatling cannons.

3. All alternate modes are Cybertronian. The living beings on Nibiru aren’t nearly intelligent enough to create anything technological for your character to scan.

4. Keep your character’s role realistic. If you choose to be a Soldier, you’re probably not going to be a battle medic.

5. No character that has been previously mentioned in official Transformers: Prime fiction is allowed. You may, however, make a similar character to an official one, as long as you use some level of originality. You may also create a character that exists in a different continuity (IE G1, Unicron Trilogy, etc.) as long as they don't exist in the Aligned/Prime continuity. For reference, I recommend

TFwiki.

6. Your character is not omniscient. Everything they know has to be learned in some way.

7. And most importantly, your character MUST be approved by a staff member before you post as that character.

To Join:

Simply fill out this form and post it in the topic:

NameFaction (Autobot or Decepticon)Class (see list below)Appearance (What your character looks like)Alternate mode (Keep in mind that all alternate modes are Cybertronian)Weapons (Be realistic, a Scout can’t wield a massive warhammer)Skills (Things your character is good at. I will approve a few Shifters, but not too many)Traits (your character’s personality)Weakness (Every soldier has their limits)Bio (How and when did your character end up on Nibiru? Details about early life help but aren’t necessary)

Classes:

Scout: As the smallest class, scouts usually range from 10 to 15 feet and primarily function as spies and infantry. They have access to special cloaking tech that allows them to become almost completely invisible.

Scientist: The next biggest class. Scientists range from 17 to 22 feet in height. They function as battle medics, giving them access to Energon Repair Rays. If they aren't medics, however, they usually stay off the battlefield and create new technology for use in the war

Leader: Leaders usually range from 25 to 30 feet tall, and primarily lead squads of their faction in battle. They have access to some of the more powerful weapons such as Ion Rifles and Fusion Cannons.

Soldier: Soldiers are the largest class, being 33 to 35 feet tall. They are the second most common soldier on the battlefield besides the scout and use some of the heavy weapons like Gatling Guns and Thermo Rocket Launchers.

Breaking the rules:

If you are caught breaking the rules, the following steps will be enacted:

First offense: a warning will be issued by any of the staff members.

Second offense: you will suffer a temporary ban from posting in the RPG

Third offense: Perma-ban, no questions asked.

Staff Characters:

Zyke the destroyer:

Name: GrindcoreFaction: AutobotClass: LeaderAppearance: Grindcore is slightly bulkier than the average Leader, and is colored grey- green and brown. The wheels of his vehicle mode are visible in robot mode on his arms and legs and the cannons are mounted on his back, pointing upwards. He has many battle scars from his service in the Autobot army.Alternate Mode: Grindcore transforms into a heavy-duty combat truck with a pointed ram on the front and cannons mounted on the roof.Weapons: While in robot mode, Grindcore can flip the cannons of his vehicle mode over his shoulders and carries a Neutron Assault Rifle as his primary weapon and an Ion Rifle as his secondary. In vehicle mode, both weapons stow away in the “trunk.” His cannons fire similar projectiles to those of his Neutron Assault Rifle, but larger.Skills: Grindcore is an excellent military leader, having served in the Autobot Elite Guard for countless deca-cycles before Cybertron was corrupted. He also possesses great physical strength.Traits: Grindcore doesn’t have time for fun. He’s been a soldier and a worker since almost the minute he emerged from the Well. Strict discipline and seriousness has been pounded into him, so you’d better not get on his bad side.Weakness: Grindcore believes that he is the only hope for Cybertron and nothing will convince him otherwise, so he takes insults, even jokes, about his status very seriously.Bio: Grindcore was in the working caste of Cybertronian society when the war broke out. Eager to get out of the factories and into some action, he enlisted in the Autobot army and climbed the ranks until he was in the Elite Guard. He was chosen for the Nibiru mission because of his status and military prowess, and led the first squad of Autobots to the then newly-discovered planet. He currently oversees everything that goes on among the Autobots on Nibiru.Name: MagamatronFaction: DecepticonClass: LeaderAppearance: Magmatron is tall and dark red in coloration with some purple highlights. His fingers are clawed and his features are chiseled.Alternate Mode: Magamatron transforms into a large, red tank with spiked treads and a single, wide cannon.Weapons: In robot mode, Magmatron carries dual wielding Scatter Blasters. His claws are also charged with an electromagnetic current that scrambles enemy sensors. In vehicle mode, the tank’s cannon fires large plasma bolts.Skills: Magmatron is incredibly keen with time and always knows the exact moment to initiate any battle plan.Traits: Magmatron is one of the most brutal and efficient soldiers and leaders that the Decepticons have on their side, rivaling even Megatron in this aspect.Weakness: Magmatron is extremely full of himself, and puts his own preservation before anything.Bio: Very little is known about Magmatron’s past, only that he became a Decepticon general shortly before the Core was corrupted. He was the first of the Decepticons to find out about the Nibiru mission via his spies and left with his crew without notifying any of the other Decepticon commanders. However, the discovery of Nibiru eventually spread to the rest of the Decepticon’s military, and the order to build the new spacebridge was enacted shortly after Shockwave got wind of the new planet. Basilisk:Name: Hunter-SeekerFaction: DecepticonClass: LeaderAppearance: Hunter-Seeker has a black and white color-scheme, with features like his face and trim being white and most everything else being black. His face is sharp and angular; his eyes are colored a deep blue. His torso is slightly narrower than average for a leader, though it maintains the angular look of the rest of his body. He has ten appendages in total, two regular arms and the same number of legs are in the place you'd expect along his body. But he also some body parts that would not be out of place on a spider, he has an abdomen and six legs/arms that sprout from his back, these arms can be used for locomotion (climbing, lifting him up from the ground and running about etc) or manipulation (fighting, handling a weapon etc).Alternate mode: A fighter-interceptor. His legs fold into the wings, his abdomen and torso become the main body. He is weapons in the moderator include only his blasters, this mode is built for speed and interception, not prolonged battles. But six blasters firing at once is still an impressive sight, he won't hold up against dedicated soldiers, but against most everything else he can hold his own.Weapons: His six arms/legs can be used as dueling aids in a tight spot, but they are also capable of firing energy blasts making them a very formidable weapon indeed. He has not seen the need to add to his arsenal because of this.Skills: As his name indicates, Hunter-Seeker is extremely adept at locating various things. Be it a target, an energon deposit or a good tactical position. He never gets lost and has a near photographic memory when recalling events and conversations he has witnessed.Traits: While firmly on the Decepticon side of the war, he is not without a conscience. If one of his comrades parades over the moral event horizon, he won't hesitate to gut them on the spot. He insists his operations be conducted with a modicum of honor, he won't attack downed opponents and tends to let one's who give a good fight escape. He disapproves of torture and instead prefers to debate his enemies into joining him. That said, he is remarkably arrogant, he views most others as fools. Weakness: More fragile than other leaders and his primary weapon systems are not quite as durable as those of other leaders. He is also quite arrogant, viewing everyone around as fools. He tends to go into a battle expecting everyone else to fail.Bio: A data archivist before the war broke out, Hunter-Seeker elected to join the revolt. When the council put Optimus Prime in command instead of Megatron, Hunter-Seeker sided with Megatron over Optimus, his reasoning being that all remains of the old system had to be swept away before true changes could be made.He arrived on Nibiru with the Shadow Striker having served as its navigator during its journey. He was quickly put to work finding Energon deposits and at that task he excelled. He has seen several battles with the Autobots in his time and respects them as an enemy, but ultimately he is loyal to the Decepticon cause and will follow Magmatron's leadership. Unless of course his "esteemed" leader steps over the line in which case Hunter-Seeker would be forced to act.Inferna Firesword: Name: FirestormFaction: AutobotsGender: FemaleClass: SoldierAppearance: Fittingly for a femme of her name, Firestorm’s primary color is bright scarlet, with dark grey undertones. Her alt-mode’s doors extend out from her shoulders into doorwings, though they do not grant flight. The four wheels of her alt-mode form her shoulder blades and pelvic cradle, and her light blue optics highlight her multiple battle scars.Alt.-Mode: Firestorm transforms into a Cybertronian sports car, similar in build to the Lamborghini Aventador.Weapons: In her bipedal mode, Firestorm wields a Scatterblaster as her primary weapon with an Energon Battle Pistol as back-up. In her alt-mode, she deploys a weapon similar to a Neutron Assault Rifle for vehicle-to-vehicle combat.Skills: Firestorm was literally born for warfare, and as such has adapted well to many forms of combat.Traits: Firestorm is young and eager to make a name for herself, though her exuberance is often tempered by her military discipline. She never shirks her duties and is fiercely loyal to the Autobot cause. She’s a little stiff and hard to like, though she is always respectful to her fellows. Her manner towards Decepticons is far different, of course, but that was to be expected.Weaknesses: Firestorm’s strength – her fighting experience in war – is her own weakness: she was raised by a military, and thus has few social skills. As well, her alt-mode isn’t very well adapted for off-roading, so she’s mostly confined to roads in vehicle mode.Bio: Firestorm was part of the last generation of Cybertronians that emerged from the Well before the Allspark was ejected from the planet. Like the majority of these mechs and femmes, she aligned with the Autobots and was born to fight in the war. She remained on the planet after the Ark and Nemesis left with the majority of the factions, and was part of the Autobot group that journeyed to Nibiru on the Titan.Name: Burning SkyFaction: DecepticonsGender: FemaleClass: LeaderAppearance: Burning Sky’s body is jet black in color, with veins of scarlet mapping over her and smoky-grey undertones. Spiky, butterfly-like wings extend from her back, and her fingers are like needles. (She bears a striking physical resemblance to the Decepticon Slipstream.)Alt.-Mode: Burning Sky transforms into a Cybertronian jet, the same kind used by the Stalker class.Weapons: In her bipedal form, Burning Sky uses an Ion Cannon as her primary weapon and an Energon Battle Pistol as her secondary. In her alt-mode, she uses proton missiles and machine guns.Skills: Burning Sky is a legendary dogfighter: back in the heyday of the war, she earned her designation by causing the fiery deaths of multiple enemy fliers.Traits: Outside of battle, Burning Sky is a femme of few words. Her loyalty is to the Decepticon cause itself and Megatron most of all. She tolerates her present commander at the moment, but if contradictory orders come from Shockwave she will not have a conflict of loyalties. She is somewhat brusque to others, but has strong bonds with her fellow fliers.Weaknesses: Burning Sky, like many fliers, suffers from claustrophobia.Bio: Called Noir before the war, Burning Sky served in the Cybertronian Air Force beforehand and chose to ally with Megatron early on. She remained with Shockwave’s warriors after the Exodus, and was dispatched to Nibiru on the Shadow Striker as aerial support.

@ Kid Icarus: You still have to clear up the profile section as its written like you've got two of them. Also a little unclear on hearts; the only powers you list are apparently handed out by staff so how do we use hearts to buy them. And how much are weapons? Knowing that having a million hearts would make a millionaire in the real world doesn' help if even the lowliest weapons cost several million each. If you just add a sentence in the hearts or weapon section saying how much the standard weapons in each class would cost that should clear it up@ Transformers: Are Nibiru, Grindcore and Magmatron things you have made up, or are they canon elements? How about you try to explain thing you think might be confusing in the intro text instead of using a glossary? Makes it flow better :)Go into the different classes more. There must be something in it other than size. Are scouts faster, can they have some sort of cloaking tech? Are scientists going to have a whole lot more tech to toy around with? Even in terms of size, what kind of differences are we talking here? Are scouts the size of humans while leaders are the 30-ft mechanoids we're all familiar with? How advanced are the Nibiru? You say they don't have technology for the Transformers to transform into, but that could mean anything from Bronze Age to Industrial RevolutionIs there going to be anything to do other than just fight? Because constant fights leaves little room for character development and gets kind of boring after a while

Weapons start at around 200 hearts, and go up from there; I believe it would cap at around 13,000-20,000 hearts, could go up to 200,000 potentially, IIRC.
Remember to get Vorex to stick a mention of this in when you post it upKid Icarus: Unanswered Prayers Approved [1]For the Transformers RPG, a map would be useful. Whats the terrain like between the two bases, whats this 'beyond the continent' that some of the fighting takes place in?

Sorry for the lateness, got caught up in some stuff.Anyway;Toast's Pantheon TBRPG is fine by my standards, so approved. (4)The Kid Icarus one is fine, but where is the "High Detail" profile mentioned in that area? Regardless, that's not something I find gamebreaking so approved. [2]For Transformers, I'll wait until you've finished making your changes. :)

Transformers Alignment Not Approved The RPG is fine but the one rule is not. Double posting is not allowed by the forum rules, and if it was topics would never fall prey to revival. That's the only thing that I see to be changed.Since when did we allow double posting in RPGs that are not the BZPRPG? :P
