Hapori Tohu
We all love Legos, but what would it feel like to live in them? Well, couple Melissa Marks and Vicente Caride have recently gotten a taste of that with their new Lego staircase. The multicolored creation might not have a good color scheme, but is inspiring nonetheless.View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
FrozenFlash
That's actually pretty cool. It's amazing what people can do with their imagination and the Lego bricks.
The Swimming Beard
The reporter who posted this story comitted a breach of ettiquite by typing "Lego" with an "s" on the end. How did that go unfiltered in this topic? Back on topic, the stairway looks pretty cool. Edited June 22, 2012 by Toa of Smooth Jazz Quote "I pitea the fool!" Sumiki
Fun fact: news stories don't get run through the word filter before they get posted. I actually find it hilarious that that particular filter still exists. Also, I would love to live there, though I'd definitely tidy up that color scheme. Ballom Nom Nom
Well, that's certainly a unique way to do interior decorating. I agree with Sumiki about the color scheme, though.~B~
Toa Smoke Monster
The color scheme isn't good. I agree with that. But I still think this looks really awesome. And it would take a very long to build I imagine. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
fishers64
If I was going to build a Lego staircase, I would probably make it look like a staircase in terms of colors. Or make a fabulous mural on the side - hey, if its made out of Lego, might as well go all-out. White is cheap. Pantera
Lego Bricks: Cheaper than 100 peices of plywood at Lowe's. :PPretty cool, but I thought the stairs we're gonna be Lego Bricks.Oh well, it's still a really simple yet creative idea! Athmos
I don't know. The colors breaking apart into whiteness looks cool to me. Although, if I had the dough, I would make a custom design. Quote WIP

Terminus
It's really cool to see what people can do when they get creative. Also, I love the minifigs.Although I wonder what the time/money difference is between doing this and making something standard out of wood... Who cares, this is way cooler! Nuparu1995
Pretty legit! I'd be super paranoid of it breaking when I tried to use it, though. Although, if I had the dough, I would make a custom design.I agree, I think the way they did it kept the iconic Lego "Rainbow Warrior" colors in a way that looks very modern and nice. I definitely prefer this to a solid color or pattern- after all, if you're doing something like this in Lego, you need to make people notice.
