InnerRayg Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 It's not about the tools use my friend - all you need to color this bad boy nicely would be a few art markers and some fine line pens for outlining. A tablet is just another way to do it, and there are plenty of entries that demonstrate how effective the traditional can be. That said, I think this is a fantastic entry. I love the posing of it and the energy it has. The only thing I do think it needs is a nice black outline from a pen of some kind - even a traditional ball point would be excellent. Try using a thin sheet of paper above it and tracing onto this second sheet to create a duplicate, then coloring either with pencils or art markers - I think it would make an already good image really pop. Obviously you can't modify the entry itself, but sometimes improving your own artwork is its own reward. Good luck with the contest!
