OOC: tis cool, Infinitus. IC - Vailian - Delta 51: "Right..." the Hivéna said. "Here's the deal... Lyxek is essentially betting the fate of the universe with his plan. And from what I've gathered, if the plan doesn't work, then things are going to go extremely downhill everywhere. And the chance of everything going just as he and Dalmia expect it to? Almost zero." He paused. "If I didn't know Lyxek better... I'd be tempted to call him foolish." IC - Infirmary Staff/Elithes - DR Infirmary: As if expecting that answer, the doctor procured two Remove Poison disks from two of the droids nearby, energizing them and pushing the energy into Alan and Waiter. Elithes, meanwhile, noticed Waiter; he raised an eye brow at the Toa of Iron's presence, remembering his preference for secrecy, though said nothign, lest he draw attention to the situation."So who exactly von?" he asked the nearest AI. "It was a tie," it answered. "Swerv and Kairan were teleported out at the same time. Both Team Vigil and Team Wing have been given 300 Credits." IC - Team Zero - Tumbler/TZ Base: ".... indeed," Zanth said after a pause. "I'll just add that to my list. Though hopefully you already realize the issue this poses for us... How much longer until you get here?" I see, the sword said, remaining silent then as Vertak and Zanth continued to talk.

IC: Eremia scratched her cheek idly, "Well if anyone can pull it off, it's Lyxek. I mean, he took a bunch of thugs and thieves and hammered them out into the Ring, one of the most successful criminal empires in the world, let alone Kai-Nam. "Besides," she shrugged, "I've always known how to take advantage of 'downhill everywhere'."

Alan/Day Run Infirmary\IC: "Thank you, sir," said Alan as he felt the exhilarating experience of every drop of poisonous substance in his body seeming to disappear. He was left feeling stronger than he had been in a while, sans his elemental energy and wing. Walking up to Waiter, he whispered in the toa's ear, "Well, Waiter, I assume as you've been my partner in crime already that you'd be willing to continue helping me? If so, meet me at the garage in exactly one hour. Most people should be in the arena watching the next match. If you do choose to join me, I shall tell you all that I know thus so far." With an encouraging pat on Waiter's back, Alan walked over to where Elithes, Swerv, and Kairan were all laying or sitting. "Good match, good match, I commend Team Vigil for pulling a win altogether," congratulated the kasuba, adding in a lower voice, "On another note, you shouldn't be so loud about all that you say, Elithes."

IC / The Infirmary / With Elithes and Alan: Swerv finished checking his Cordak Launcher and laughed again, “Don’t worry, Alan. I’m sure Elithes only lets slip what he wants to. Besides, if trouble comes along, we can just beat them up. We did come first.” With his previous statement being an obvious joke, Swerv added, “Nice fighting, by the way. You almost had me in the tunnels.” IC / Outside the Infirmary / Waiting: Draxion leaned against the Infirmary wall, waiting for Elithes and Swerv. Where were they? How long did it take to get healed? Meanwhile, he was scanning the contestants around him. If Older Brother was here, he was going to try something big sooner or later. IC / The Infirmary / Getting Healed: Waiter nodded to Alan as the being walked away. It was then that he sighed, finally, he could ask for help without showing weakness to his new acquaintance, and turned to the Doctor and asked, “Could you also patch up my cut?” The Doctor nodded and after the detoxification, which Waiter enjoyed every time it happened because you never knew how many nonlethal poisons there were in your body at any given time and he always felt so refreshed afterwards, he pulled out another disk, this one of healing, and pushed the power into Waiter. His tissue and organs stitched themselves together quickly and his armor mended itself back together after another disk from the Doctor. It always felt so unnatural when your body rapidly healed. A cold shiver ran up his spine as he thanked the Doctor and turned to look for Alan. The Toa-like being was over talking to… It was Elithes, and Syrifar. Quickly activating his mask when the Doctor turned away to look at Roen, Waiter backed up into a small pocket in the wall between two machines of some type of healing. He was still going to observe Roen and the other being and see what he could learn as the nurses did, whatever it was they were going to do to them. If nothing happened, he would be glad to become visible again and offer to take them back to the Guild. After he stripped them of all useful information that they had on them, that is. IC / Victus Dead / His Room: Brother frowned and then scowled at the card. He wasn’t the one to figure out the science parts of problems. That was not his expertise. As much as he hated to admit it, the robot would probably be able to find out something about this card. The Rahkshi cringed. No, he would wait to hear from that Matoran and sword first.

OOC: Okay thanks. IC: Sol was uncertain about the crest machines. He knew he was often paranoid but he worried they were bugged. He flew upward and launched himself through the sky at near super sonic speeds. He did not break the sound barrier because he did not need the attention and he was tired. After a short flight he landed near the garage. He unlocked it with the spare key Marx had given him and walked in. He pressed his palm to his vehicles door and it opened for him. Sol liked how the machine was both DNA and voice locked so it would only obey him or perhaps Marx because Marx would surely know how to get past his own technology. He placed his sword and blaster on the seat and then closed the door. He walked over to the counter and placed the crest machine on it. He sat down and closed his eyes. He was still tired from the arena match. IC: The cab driver did not know where the building was exactly as the driver was only recently hired. Slate paid and thanked the driver anyway. Slate got out and looked for a building called... Great he thought I forgot the name already. Okay it was something about cows or blues. He decided he would just looked for one of the two things in each sign he passed by. He would find it eventually.

I was REALLY busy at the time, and he was refusing to go away. I needed him out of my skin as soon as possible. Final decision can be up to you, honestly." -ibrow

IC - Elithes/Illuxio/Doctor - Infirmary: Elithes nodded his head slowly, confused as to what he had said that wasn't already public knowledge. "I live on zhis island, Alan..." he said quietly, glancing back towards Waiter. The Toa of Iron was gone; Elithes wasn't sure if he was just hiding or if he had already left. Knowing him, it was probably the latter. Noticing Nenda and Roen's bodies, he addressed his next question to Alan. "Vhat happened to zhose two?" The doctor, meanwhile, had begun to examine Roen's body. He shook his head and clicked his tongue. "I'm afraid this guy's been dead for... I don't even know how long. At least twenty or thirty minutes... No poison on him either, though there are the exact same wounds..." IC - Vailian - Delta 51: "True," Vailian said. "Still, some things are too big to be gambled..." They were nearing the Ring base now. Vailian prepared himself for the movement of the Niaka, saying nothing else about Lyxek or the plan. IC - Zanth - Tumbler: "Maybe I'll evaluate him. Maybe. And only if he shows up again," the Team Zero leader said. "Regardless... speed it up. We're in the archive."

Alan/Day Run Infirmary\IC:"Good point," said Alan as he faintly felt Waiter rather suddenly dodge nothing into a cleft. Raising his inner eyebrow, the kasuba continued, "I was mainly referring to some things you occasionally let slip about 'hating the KNPD' and such. Anyways, they had a run in with a rather nasty anti-hero-anti-villain-being-mash-up. Something the KNPD doesn't want to get out." He shrugged and turned to walk away. Before he did so, however, he added in a completely inconspicuous way, "Oh, and don't forget our appointment in front of the garage. it's a bit less than an hour away."

IC: Calik - Infirmary Upon seeing the dead body (Roen), Calik suddenly began retching into a nearby waste basket. What the Karz Calik! Why? 'SHUT IT!' he screamed at himself. OOC: I seem to like building emotional problems into my characters. Odd. -Void

IC: Vertak, The Tumbler: "I'm hurrying." Vertak responded. "Djoser, how much longer?""Um... we're there." The AI told him, a hint of a chuckle in his voice.Vertak sighed."I get chewed out for being slow just as we arrive." he muttered. "Typical." Grabbing Rhindon, Vertak climbed out of the Tumbler and made his way down the hallway with a little difficulty, until he was standing in the Team Zero Archive."What's up?" -ibrow

IC - Zanth/Suya - Zero Archive: Zanth and Suya both seemed busy -- the latter with cleaning up Eremia's mess, the former with gathering paper and writing utensils."Keremutu," Zanth said distractedly. "That's where we need to start. Tell us what you found out about it and anything else you learned." IC - Elithes/Illuxio - Infirmary: "Vright... zhe appointment..." Elithes said quietly as Alan left, catching the message. "In an hour... vhy in an hour? Ve're alvready.. vell, vready." He twisted his legs, putting his feet on the floor and standing up. Grabbing his equipment and beginning to put it on, he looked at Swerv. "I'll meet you zhere; I have somezhing to do vreally quick..." He headed out. Vhat do ve need to check out, exactly? he mentally asked the AI in his head. Remember the Nox? Jaeda's mask? Draxion left it in our possession last time we were here, Illuxio answered. And I just remembered something about it... Elithes stopped in his tracks at the entrance to the Infirmary. And vhat... might zhat be...? It's... a key. That's all I know. You need to check on it. Illuxio seemed to hesitant; Elithes contemplated prodding further, though he didn't say anything; merely affirmed in his mind and headed towards the garage, looking for the Wheel.

OOC: All I can have Kayzata do is find his team members... and I don't know where either of them are. ._. IC Kayzata - Day Run - Searching for Tertrax and No Heart: Kayzata realized he had severed his mental link with No Heart at some point in time, and he had never established one with Tertrax. Of course, his Team Crest served the purpose of communication, but it was always better to have a good solid mental link in his opinion. He tapped the Crest, speaking into it, "No Heart, Tertrax, where are the two of you? The next match is about to begin, and we are in it, both of you need to come to the Day Run at once," he said, waiting for a response from the Crest. OOC: Sadly, I can only wait for a reply, or I can PM the owners of the two characters, and tell them the match is about to begin. -Kayzata

IC / Outside the Infirmary / Talking to Elithes: Draxion was slowly scraping at the hard ground when Elithes paused in the doorway, right beside the Rahkshi, who was leaning on the wall very close by. The Matoran apparently didn’t notice him and started to walk off, probably to look up events or something. Jogging for a short bit to catch up, Draxion asked Elithes, “So, are we all doing something or just separating for the rest of the day?”

OOC: Didn't Kayzata's team fight in the first match of the day? This one is between Teams Zero, Superior and Nynrah, not Team Tech.IC - Elithes - Heading to Garage: "I need to check somezhing," the Matoran answered, too distracted to be surprised at the Rahkshi's sudden appearance. "Alan vants to meet in front of zhe garage in an hour. Ve'll meet back up zhere."

Alan/The Barrens, Searching for KeridIC:

Alan, however, had someone to check upon. Kerid had not been seen since the incident, and he was getting rather concerned for her well-being. She could hold her own in a fight, but as the Director knew this, he'd likely send someone rather strong to take care of her. With this disconcerting though, the kasuba gave himself a running start and leaped into the air. Soon, he was soaring towards where they had been only hours ago.

IC: CalikCalik sighed and decided to return to the garage, hoping to get tuning up done, maybe test it out on the barrens.'Back to the old grind, he thought.OOC: Is it too late to sign up for the next event?-Void

OOC: At this point I'm not sure if Team Nynrah is coming back, since I haven't seen Ferix or the guy who plays him. So your team could take over his position in the match.IC - Kerid - the Barrens: As it happened, Kerid had simply given up on trying to speak with Draka at this point; by now, things needed to get moving, he wasn't responding, and it was getting dark out. She figured he could handle himself, especially after scanning him with her helmet; there was something unnatural about the Matoran that just begged her to not trust him. A strange source of power...As such, she was on her way back now, flashlight turned on and flickering as the rapidly falling snow crossed in its path. It was a beautiful night in that regard, despite the horrors of Khazra's lab.

He only got into Team Slight 'cause the original broke up, and now this.-Void

IC: Marx strolled up to a vendor and bought some chips and a soda. He sat at a table and quickly ate them. He ate when he was nervous and he was nervous about the next arena match.IC: Slate walked around. He could not find the place he searched for. Great I am going treasure hunting, maybe, and I can't find the place the ad told me to go. This better not be a cruel trick. He then saw a sign that said "Blue Mukau Inn." He thought, Is that it? He entered and walked over to the counter and said, "Hello, Is Tarius here?"

IC - Eilxa - Registration Office: "Technically speaking the match is full, since registration was closed off earlier today," Eilxa the Matoran of Lightning said. "But, Team Nynrah hasn't shown up or confirmed their participation in the match, so if I want to join I can give you their spot..."IC - Bartender - Blue Mukau: "You responding to his help request?" the bartender asked simply, nodding at the stairs at the end of the counter. "Up there, first door on the right; meeting's gonna start in a little while, once some more folk arrive."

OOC: Erm, I'm just gonna say Vertak told them everything if that's alright. IC: Vertak, Team Zero Base:Vertak nodded. "Very well then... but it's not pretty."Over the next several minutes he related to the elder Team Zero members his expedition to the Ring-run Casino, and his interrogation with the Skakdi about Keremutu. He told them what he'd learned; that he was currently, technically a Ring member since that discussion.Then he told them about the meeting in the Day Run Garage, where Kayzata (whom he explained he'd run into several times before) learned of the plans before Vertak became able to shield his mind from that. He told them of how Kazahk, a KNPD officer who'd made a truce with them in that first race, was now an ally. He told them how Jale entered, and how he, Kazahk, and Kayzata only just managed to keep him in the dark about everything, and only after Vertak had allowed him onto Team Zero.He relayed the message that had come over his team crest, about the meeting after his match in the evening; he told them his plans to go there with Kazahk and Kayzata. The discovery of Team Zero's base ransacked and destroyed came next, and he explained how several maps and a necklace were missing- as he did so, Vertak pulled out the map he'd taken, telling Zanth that he'd deemed it important.The visit to the North District Warehouses was next- how he and Kayzata had made their way there, and found something off about one, and then the Sword of Ybrus in the other. At this point, Vertak noded to Rhindon."This is Rhindon." he introduced. "A Ring member by the name of Dalmia attacked, and he was too fast for Kayzata to counteract his mental powers. He took the light half of the Sword, and this is the dark half, whom I have christened Rhindon. He's an ally for now, and he does have valuable information. Plus, he's really powerful even on his own. It's pretty sweet."Vertak took a deep breath, having finished."Another being by the name of Kaelen met us in the North District; he was doing investigations of his own, and joined us against Dalmia. It was too late, but I'm going to meet him at the Day Run later as well."Vertak then told Zanth and Suya about his confrontation with Brother on the way there, and the card he'd been shown."He seems to know stuff, and wanted to talk to you two." Vertak explained. "I told him that right now wasn't a good time, and he left. I dunno where you'd find him."The Matoran crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, allowing Rhindon to float on his own.-ibrow

IC: Marx took out a cloth and started to polish his new sword. He did not know where it came from but it was a perfect match for him already. It was balanced in his hands and it was just right for his fighting style. He did not like how his war hammer had turned to dust but he was sure this weapon would be better. He wondered how it would channel his two powers, gravity and shadow. He would get to see soon enough.IC: "Okay thanks." Slate walked up the stairs and to the first door on the right. The door was open. "Hello?" He said as he knocked.

OOC: Fine by me. IC - Tarius - Blue Mukau: "Come in," a soft voice answered Slate. "Take a seat and wait... the meeting will start soon."IC - Zanth/Rhindon - Team Zero Base: Zanth nodded; having recorded everything that Vertak had said, there was now a large pile of paper next to him. He stood up from where he had been sitting, grabbing the pile and beginning to walk. "Follow me."As the two exited the archive, he closed the door, moving over to one of the desks. "This is probably going to anger you... but it's the truth," he said. "We've known everything about Keremutu for the last couple of years. We had reasons for not telling you -- the biggest one being that we were not allowed to. That was something you had to figure out on your own. Luckily for you, you've passed, which means we can move on. That sword is probably the best place to start from.""Why?" the Sword of Ybrus's dark side asked, though Zanth felt that it knew the answer already."Because you're one of the keys," the Team Zero leader answered. "And I can't believe that we missed you when we searched that warehouse." He looked at Vertak before continuing out of the room, and into the hall. "How much do you know about the Heart right now? And the Garden?"

IC: "Albert, any idea why she let me go?" "Hates her job?" "Be serious" "Alright. She hates her job" "She obviously is bipolar towards it if she beats on a prisoner and then lets him go" "Anyhow, want me to scan for structural weakness? A pack of C4 there, a match falling onto napalm here..." "Al, we observe from a distance now" "Fine. Anyhow, don't you wonder if the will of a matoran was able to be harnessed to create constructs and fly and stuff?" "Well, I can create light constructs". Flynn pointed his hand out at the sidewalk and out appeared Albert. "Can you fly?" "Not without a jetpack or mystical voodoo powers. Anyhow, maybe I should lay low for a while from the cops. How about a new colour scheme and a filler mask?" Flynn turned his body colour green and black, and slapped on a matoran mask he had lying in his backpack, which altered it's colour to fit his body. "How do I look?" "Splended. But you may want to use Chutespeak around here in those colours" "C'mon, all anybody is gonna do is give me a quick-fast look-see, not listen-hear anything I Treespeak. Darn it, now I'm doing it".

Movement... bipedal... a flash of light... that was either her, or a really large hoto bug walking on two legs with two cut off... He smirked at the thought, but held his sword ready just in case. The kasuba landed about two bio in front of Kerid, having to hold one wing as a shade so he could see. "Hello, milady. I was getting concerned for your safety. If the Director had sent someone - not that you couldn't handle it - to kill or capture you, then, I would help. As it is, would you like some company on your journey back to the Day Run facilities?"

IC: Vertak, Team Zero Base:Vertak did feel frustration when he discovered Team Zero had known about Keremutu all along; he was also surprised to hear that they hadn't been allowed by... someone. However, he didn't let this show; that was one lesson of the Dark Hunters you learned right away."Alright then." he shrugged. "The garden and the heart? Not much, though before it was split in two the Sword of Ybrus mentioned that Lyxek had only one half of the heart; the other half is in the garden and can be used to stop the half in the Ring's possession.-ibrow

IC: Since the Toalike being never answered, Kaelen decided to try and find Alan. From what he remembered, Alan had been in the last Night Run, he also thought he remembered something about Alan being in that group that had been exploring the mountain during the undead breakout.Kaelen tapped his team crest and spoke into it. "Hey, Alan? Where are you, I need to ask you something."

IC - Kerid - The Barrens: Kerid hefted her plasma axe over her shoulder, walking past Alan. "I honestly don't care," she said. "though if the Director has already started sending assassins, he's made some very poor choices at this point..."IC - Zanth/Rhindon - Team Zero Base: Zanth nodded. "So then the stories are true after all; I was beginning to think otherwise," he muttered. "The Garden is where Suya and I have been going to. It's the place Dulain helped us find, where Elyn was killed, and where the only sure-fire way of defeating the Ring -- the other half of the Heart -- is hidden. But then, you still don't have the full details on that..."He turned a corner. "To make things easier to understand, the Heart, or the Coeur d'Ombre, is a legendary object on Kai-Nam. It's exactly what the name says -- a massive, mechanical heart, said to be capable of granting a vast assortment of abilities and powers into a being exposed to it. There are other things that it's apparently capable of -- reviving the dead; uniting the light and shadow within the hearts of every being throughout the universe; creating bridges between dimensions... these are just a few examples of the myths, though as far as we know, they aren't true. Legend has it that it can only be activated by utilizing the energies of a number of objects -- the Sword of Ybrus, which, as you said, was taken by Dalmia; the Gloves of Light and Darkness, which we believe were unknowingly handed out as prizes during the Day Run's opening match a few nights ago, meaning that Lyxek has at least one at this point; the Eyes of Apheer and the Mask of Aru, supposedly a Mask of Night -- to our knowledge, neither have been found. Finally, there was the Necklace of Amerdal, which is what was stolen by whoever broke into this bunker. If our assumptions are correct, then Lyxek has about half of the objects required to enact his plan at this point -- which means that we need to work faster."

IC: CalikCalik considered his options. Jump in front of a missing team, or miss yet another event.He jumped.'I think I'll take that spot. If this team Nynrah comes calling, tell 'em to meet me in the Garage. I'd like to talk to them.'He turned and headed back to the Garage.-Void

IC: Slate was nearly startled by the soft voice that came from the room. He was expecting something else. He replied, "Alright." He walked into the room and took a seat.

OOC: wait what. Kayzata isn't in the next match? I thought Team Tech was going to compete... IC Kayzata - Day Run - Doing... nothing: Kayzata rolled his eyes in anger as he learned they weren't competing in the next Match. "Well, there goes a large chunk of the day," he said to Phoenix, who chuckled. "I'd like to fly around the island, maybe we can just relax and look at the scenery," the bird said, taking off from Kayzata's shoulder, and flying upward into the air. "Come on, I know your bored," he said, flying away from his powerful friend. Kayzata sighed, and spread his own wings, jumping up off the ground and flying after Phoenix, following the bird wherever he wished to go. OOC: They did, against Team Flamel. First match of the day, remember?... actually, probably not; it's been six months. XPAlso, iBrow, let's try to get this conversation done quickly; I'd prefer it if the match was started by Saturday.IC - Eilxa - Registration Office:IC - Zanth - Team Zero Base: Zanth rounded a corner, opening a door and entering a room. This room bore nothing but a large table and a few chairs; on the table was a large map, and drawn on it was a vast place, nothing that Vertak would have seen on Kai-Nam's surface."This is what we've recorded during our trips to the Garden," the Team Zero leader explained. "It's every area we've gone to; one of the Garden's keepers helped us create it. We still haven't found the Heart, though -- and that's what I wanted to talk to you about. Last time we were there -- a few minutes ago -- we ran into a couple of problems. For one, the KNPD has gained access to the place, which means that the Director knows about the other half of the Heart. The other thing is the resistance that we've come into contact with down there -- strange monsters, the same ones that killed Elyn. They're apparently free now, because we had to fight a group of them to escape." He looked at Vertak."We need a third person to come with us, Vertak. At this point you're the only being we can trust to tag along."

OOC:At the end of Brother and Vertak's meeting, Brother gave Vertak a card with the hotel name Victus Dead and his room number. I guess I wasn't very specific when I said it. Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, yeah, so they do have a way to find Brother. And boy, Vertak is one busy little guy.^ Pm sent to me by Kal. Brother gave him the card.IC: Vertak, Team Zero Base:Vertak pulledout the card given to him by Brother;"This guy might have answers." he responded. "And of course I'll come. "Don't worry, I've pretty much set the Director and the KNPD in karzahni. I should've left earlier, but was too stupid. Now, I'm just about to organize a group that will be able to save the world, blah blah blah, etc. I was wondering if the day run would lend some support, even unofficially," replied Alan. Quickly he switched on his crest to speak to all of Team Wing and said, "Hey guys, meet me in front of the garage in forty-two minutes."

Kaelen- Day Run LongeIC: Kaelen nodded to himself, he needed to take a look at his suit anyway. He made his way over to the Garage and over to the slot alloted to his vehicle.When he get there, he hooked up his datapad to the vehicle and set it to run a full scan. While that was happening, he started to scan it himself, using his elemental powers.OOC: Kaelen will just keep doing that untill the meet.

It seemed as if it had exploded from the inside; and unless the Ring had gained access to the garage, Brother was the only hostile being that Elithes could think of who could have done this."That's low," Illuxio said. OOC: Ha ha! I almost forgot Brother did that. Almost. I just didn't think you would remember. IC / The Infirmary / With Himself:Swerv stood up, grabbed his gear, and headed out of the Infirmary. So, he had around 45 minutes before the “meeting” that was totally not suspicious in the least. What could he do in that amount of time…A weapon. A sword or staff. The robot definitely needed one. And where else to find one than at a Tournament? Yes, he would look for a new weapon. One that he would probably be forced to enhance later. With that thought in mind, he wasn’t exactly looking where he was going. And since he didn’t have any detection systems running at the time, he ran right into Draxion as the Rahkshi turned around.IC / Day Run / With Swerv:Draxion nodded in understanding and watched as Elithes went to the Garage. So, what could he do in about an hour to help everyone? Maybe Swerv would know. Turning to go back to the Infirmary, the Rahkshi ran right into the robot.“Whoa, sorry,” Swerv said as he helped steady Draxion, “I was just thinking. Again.”Draxion frowned, “That’s becoming a bad habit.” Then the Rahkshi hissed at his own joke. Swerv chuckled and asked, “So, you doing anything?”The golden Rahkshi shrugged, “I was going to find you, but you’re already here. I don’t have anything else to do. What about you?”The yellow robot clapped his hands together, “I need a weapon. It’s about time I got another one.”“Uhh… from where, exactly?” Draxion asked.Swerv slightly rolled his head, his version of rolling his eyes, “Contestants need new weapons after what can happen in the Arena, as even Repair Disks can’t fix everything. And sometimes you need to try something different. In the Tournament of Shadows, there was a Toa, who I think was called Eo, or something. Anyway, I didn’t actually go up to him, but I heard he set up his own stand, selling weapons.“I’m sure someone has thought of that same thing here. Why don’t we go have a look?”Draxion shrugged again, “Sure.”With that, they both walked off.IC / Victus Dead / His Room:Older Brother sat in his room, in complete darkness. His legs folded, the Rahkshi meditated. Feeling the shadows swirl around him. How they felt when they touched objects and how they connected to other objects. How they all were at his whim. But Brother did not touch the shadows in his room; instead, he let his thoughts envelop the shadows of the hotel he was in. Slowly, they came into focus. Beings, all surrounded by the shadows that they did not notice nor care about. After all, who was powerful enough to really use the shadows against them? Only Makuta controlled shadows, and even then the Brotherhood was there to protect, not destroy. Sure, there was the stray, wild Rahkshi, but they weren’t that dangerous. Normally.Brother could probably kill at least half of the beings in the hotel with just one controlled series of thoughts, but that was not why he was searching the shadows. Instead, he felt the building, how the shadows moved across the floor as a visiting Matoran walked from the bar back to his seat downstairs off of the main lobby; how there were three Skakdi hidden in a room filled with rather sharp weapons, all were moving expressively, probably arguing; and how he could tell that no others near to him where able to touch the shadows like he could.Even so, he was not concerned with this hotel. He just needed it to center his mind before he went farther. Finally, when he felt he was ready, and had the shadow imprint of the Victus Dead as his focusing point, Brother let his mind wander the shadows of the island. Looking for any crevice that went too deep, or for some sort of power that was also able to touch the shadows. There, Rhindon shone like a bright light in the night. It’s power was so unique that Brother almost reached out to it. But no, he would not interfere, not yet. After all, he had given his word not to follow that Matoran. Even if this technically wasn’t following.Instead, he sent his searching elsewhere. What he was looking for exactly, he could not say, but that wouldn’t stop him from looking. And whenever the information began to overload his mind, he focused upon the Victus Dead; to keep a straight head and continue his search for the unknown.IC / The Infirmary / Near Roen the Body:Finally, Syrifar had left. Powering down his mask, Waiter came out of hiding.The Doctor was gone, but a nurse was still near the bodies, doing some type of paper work. Walking over, he asked, “Do you need someone to return the bodies to the Guild, or how were you planning to dispose of them?”
