LEGO Olympic Stadium in London

LEGO has already pumped up the excitement of the 2012 London Olympic games with their set of collectible Olympian minifigs, but now there is a new sight to see after admiring the real stadiums for the games. The John Lewis Stratford store in the Westfield Shopping Centre, selling all kinds of Olympic merchandise, is displaying a LEGO recreation of the Olympic Stadium. Created by Warren Elsmore, he and his team made sure to detail their creation perfectly for the eyes of many visitors. Boy, that's one awesome combination of LEGO bricks and a lot of time devoted to building. I would love to have seen the build in-progress, but I'd also love to see the completed model in real life. London 2012 hasn't been a disappointment, in the games themselves, or any other merchandise or props made for the Olympics.
