OOC: Is there anyway I can get a second look at Harbinger? Thanks.

You happen to miss my last John post Nina?

IC: Songbird (Krystal’s Illusion)

Ashlynn was silent as Krystal continued to speak with her parents before revealing her true form. To try to ease the tension Ashlynn suddenly stretched her two wings from each shoulder blade before unfurling them. She smiled at the parents, “It seems we all have something to hide.”

IC: Mimic (X-Manor)

Christine ate alone in the cafeteria. Chris has run off somewhere leaving her to eat in solitude. When she finished her plate she got up and began to fix a plate for Aleks. He’d become silent when Chris had come around, like usual. She made a mental note to ask him about it. When she was finished she headed up the stairs before stepping into her room. She then glanced around to see if the shirtless Russian was still present.

IC: Nicole, Triblade (San Fran Bay)

“Then why can’t I see you?” she asked as she glanced around looking for Dallas. She shook her head at Robin’s question.

Matt shrugged at Robin, “Can’t say I have, mind explaining?” he said as he watched Robin with deep brown eyes. Brown eyes that were still rimmed with shadow. Could it be that plasma wielding mutant was still under the weather from drinking days ago with Aleks? Probably not.

IC: Darkfang (X-Manor)

“I’m not too sure on the rules, I’m pretty new here myself.” Darkfang said. He then teleported over to Warren and the Tesla gun. “I have no idea.”

IC: "Well that's...nice. Um...This is just a friend gift right?" Francesca asked. She wasn't sure how much Chris had picked up on the world since learning about it himself

IC: "I think they're attempting to sort it out n their own way, and it just sounds like nonsense to us," Anton mused

IC: "Nice to see nepotism is alive and well." It was Song, making one of her rare trips out of her little labyrinth in the basement, mask held in the crook of her arm, "Since being related to both the White Queen and King appears to be how you got the position."

IC: "Batteries? No, never found a need for them," Alec told Warren, "Thought maybe I should. Could prove useful." They might as well. Would give the functions of his arm something other to run on than his own bio-energy

IC: A golden eagle, broad in wing and sharp in talon, landed on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Odd, since it wasn't part of the local wildlife. Odder still was it reverting to a human shape, bones creaking and skin melting. When the brief transformation was complete, the newly rechristened Jimmy adjusted his hide jacket and took a few steps within the boundary limits of the city. Already he could feel power of wide and strange varieties thrumming from the place. This could be interesting

IC:

Chris nodded, he knew what friends are, and he was pretty sure that's what they were.

"If you don't need batteries or anything, how the heck does your arm work?" Warren asked, more than slightly confused. Last time he checked, robotic arms used batteries. But also didn't sense much electricity in Alec. Outside of the electricity in his brain.

IC: Jeffery Pryde - Food Court, Las Vegas -
'Jess' followed Gabriel down the line, grabbing a wrap for herself and nothing else, Lucas had already promised her a drink so she it was all she needed for the moment. Gabriel found an empty table that was large enough for the five of them to sit around, 'Jess' sat down next to Gabriel, unconsciously looking around for a sec, just to see if anyone was watching them. Of course, no one was that she could see was paying attention to them at all, though the likelihood that someone was probably monitoring them, and the fact that she felt unusually self-conscious. This was mostly due to the fact that she wasn't supposed to be a girl, and yet her she was in the middle of a public place, and in a skirt.
She shrugged the feeling off and started to eat, despite being the shortest of the group she seemed to have the biggest mouth, the wrap was already half gone in moments.

IC: Venom, Shaw Spartan would soon find a rather large billboard hurtling towards him and his assembled warriors. When Shaw returned to the lobby, he was garbed in his traditional formal suit. He looked around with his eyebrows knit in confusion."Lynae? What are you..? Nevermind. Did anyone see where Romulus ran off to?"

IC: Lynae"Sometimes immortals become arrogant." Lynae said with a sigh. "They think because they're immortal they can do anything and act how they want."Lynae grinned at Shaw. "Well it's nice to see you too." Her voice sarcastic as she looked at the man. "No. I haven't, I have been speaking with Nick."

"Well, because I'm not actually on the bay itself, Nicole," I explained patiently as I plucked the box of Captain Crunch out of midair, popping it open and munching on cereal as I sat on Ashley's stomach, leaving her powerless to stop me.

"So what up?"

IC:

Alaric stood outside the entrance to the Danger Room, playing with a yo-yo he'd stolen - err, confiscated from a little kid - while he waited for Ashlynn to finish up with Cerebro.

IC:

"Whoderr?" a lightly accented voice groaned from underneath Christine's covers. "If it's not Christine, you're in the wrong room."

IC: Lynae"So you're like...hmm what was that big green guy.." Lynae tapped a finger on her chin before she smiled, remembering the name. "The Hulk! That's right! So you're like the big green guy. Interesting." She observed his fangs, not distressed in the slightest. "Well that lovely. Though perhaps you should work on your self-control just incase you we're to..slip up."

OOC: Thanks Advent, I will now be dropping Liam. I believe Rawrmouse said she’d pick him back up. If not confider him vanished.

IC: Triblade, Nicole (San Fran Bay)

Matt examined Robin’s fangs. “That’s pretty **** cool,” he said. “Never knew there were have vampires. Wait actually I remember hearing about some Blade guy when I was a kid.” He shrugged.

“Oh,” Nicole said. “Well what’s your address? This bay is actually really boring and there is this half vampire guy talking to us.”

IC: Mimic (X-Manor)

“Its me,” she said as she closed the door. “And why are you under mah covers?” she smiled as she went and sat on the bed.

“I brought you some breakfast.”

IC: Harbinger (Las Vegas)

I began my mission like I usually did. With a silent prayer to death. I have never seen the entity, but I’ve heard stories. Stories of how Death embodied itself as a skeletal female. To me she is my mistress, my mother; and I am her hand. I like to think that I have a contract with Death. She helps me, I give her souls. Because killing is the only thing that makes since to me anymore. My name is Eric Abrams, but these days I tend to go by Harbinger. It is a name I earned with blood and the death of hundreds of lives. A Harbinger is defined as something that foretells a future event, or an omen. I am that thing. When you see me I am foretelling your death. I am an omen of death.

I stood up; the cold night wind tore at my black coat and billowed it behind me like a cloak. “Alright men, you know what to do. Let’s make Death proud.” I said as I activated my com. I slowly swiveled my head as I walked across the rooftop, examining he Las Vegas nightlife through my crimson tinted glasses. Las Vegas. It was my kind of city. So much death and sin, it seemed to be screaming for me to release some of these tensions, to kill without thought or remorse. That’s exactly what I planned to do.

In reality that’s what I’d been ordered to do, but I liked to think I was in charge. My master wanted a diversion so he could move ahead with his plans for New York. I was good at diversions. He wanted me to draw attention to Las Vegas, to bring the X-Men out and send them after me. I know I can’t bring down all of those pubescent teens with their mutant powers, but I can give them a good show.

My combat boots take a step forward, positioning me close to a large sky-light. I kneel down and secure my line to a metal pipe. Its time for the show. The audience quiets as the actors take the stage. The music plays, and the first song begins.

I step forward, my weight taking me through the glass. The glass shatters around me and rains down on the people below. I fall through the air like the angel of death as I position my AR-15 and fire. BUDDA BUDDA BUDDA. My rifle burps as it sends rounds flying into the chest of a Black Jack dealer, his blood spraying onto the table. People scream. When they scream they run.

But my men were already in place, waiting for me. As my boots touched down on the floor and I unhinged my line I saw them. My faithful students, my assassins. They had been standing around every entrance, dressed in expensive suits while holding large brief cases. Now the cases were open and their automatic weapons were out. They fired. More screams as people were blown away.

I swiveled my weapon upon a cocktail waitress who seemed to be frozen in place. As she looked into my glasses she probably saw her own reflection. She saw the terror on her face, and in that instant she knew that her life was over. She wasn’t bad on the eyes. Still I pulled the trigger and sent one flying between hers. Her head snapped back and she crumpled to the floor. Grinning I turned and began firing into the crowd, mowing people down as they were trapped. I heard sirens, the cops were here. Good.

The main entrance flew open as cops barged inside, firing at me and my men. A couple of my faithful men were hit and went down. I twitched as I was shot in the chest several times. I felt pain, and it made me feel alive. I returned fire as I jumped behind the nearest overturned table, rounds flying past me and punching holes in the table. There was a man already hiding behind the table, cowering in his fear. I reached out and wrapped my hand around his throat as I began to squeeze. He began to choke as black energy poured out of my hand. I held onto him for several minutes as my men kept the cops busy. Slowly my wounds began to heal, pushing the bullets out of my chest as blood began to soak the man’s shirt. I dropped him to the floor to bleed out as I primed a grenade and threw it.

The resulting explosion was like music to my ears. I stood up now pulling my trigger as I finished off a few cops who hadn’t been blown to bits, sending bullets into their skulls as they dropped to the ground. The casino was silent now. Everyone was dead. But not for long, I knew backup would be coming soon, and SWAT. As I walked past a fallen officer her gurgled on his own blood and reached for his weapon. I fired twice into his face and he fell still. I stood still then as I reloaded my rifle before pulling out my pack and depositing a cigarette into my hand.

Yes, smoking was a filthy habit, but so was killing. I pulled the black mask over the lower part of my face down. Revealing pale skin and then lips A single black line went down my nose and through my lips. I grinned as I saw myself in the reflection of large shards of glass on the floor. I then put the cigarette to my lips and lit it with my lighter. I took a few puffs, watching as the smoke spiraled into the air like the souls of the departed. Yes smoking was filthy, but I had an advantage most people didn’t. When I started hacking up a lung after smoking for too long all I had to do was hold someone for a few good minutes and my lungs would be clean while there’s would be come blacker then my very soul.

“Torch it.” I said. My men nodded grabbing the tanks of gas they’d stashed inside the casino earlier as they began to sprinkle gasoline all over the casino. When they were finished they began to walk for the door. “Grab the hostages.” I said motioning to the two cops we’d purposely injured and left alive and one of the casino attendants.

I placed my AR on my back and drew my desert eagle as I pulled one of the officer’s to his feet and placed the barrel of the gun to his skull. “We’re going to go for a little stroll now.” I sneered. Together we stepped through the glass doors. Lights flashed in our eyes. There were cop cars everywhere with scared looking officers pointing their weapons at us.

“Move a muscle and these fine officers brains go on that wall.” I grinned. I then pulled out my cigarette and flicked it back inside. Flames billows like a chain reaction. Soon the inside of the entire casino was burning. The flames rocketed outside as they followed a trail of gasoline we’d engineered earlier. The flames began to grow as they formed outside. Turning into a message. One that could only be seen from above. I was sure the many News helicopters and police copters above would catch onto it. The flames formed the words: Where are the X-Men?

I laughed as the police allowed us to slowly back away from them, our hostages the only reason we were still breathing. The X-Men would come. I knew they would.

My little show was over. The actors took their bows as the red curtain closed. The audience stood up and there was a monstrous applause.

IC: Nick shrugged and responded quietly. "Maybe not. But I try."

IC: The bay was boring, Robin reflected. And there was a lot of sunlight. Of course, Robin wouldn't die in the sun, but it hurt a bit. "Blade was one of my kind, yes. Though he had a rather different method of becoming one."

No such thing as destiny.

"It's warm under here," Aleks groaned, pushing himself up and straightening his new shirt, a tight black top lifted from Christine's dresser that looked like the kind of thing a gymnast would wear; the form-fitting material hugged his biceps carefully as he sat up and brushed his hair up, looking at the meal. "You act like you've never gotten under blankets before, Scarlett O'Hara."

IC:

"Err...do you think maybe we could all meet for coffee or something? I really don't like being seen around my condo, it's kind of my hideout...y'know, I did do a movie and all, the press is looking for the first 'openly mutant' actor..."

IC SpartanHomer and his men simply dodged. Well, not simply; it turned out that billboards are actually hard to dodge. As a result, the force of Enforcers became a bit scattered, with some of the men completely out of the circle of attack. One of the Hoplites had been thrown across the road, having been sent flying by the billboard. "Phalanx won't work here," Homer thought, "We need to stay scattered." "I do believe that's our cue to attack," Homer stated and hurled his spear at Venom.

“What happened to Mr. Russian impervious to the cold?” Christine smiled as she watched Aleks come up from his hideout with emerald eyes. “Nice shirt,” she grinned. “Now eat something before ah spoon feed you.” She said offering him the plate.

“Ah I see,” he said. “Well you’re the first vampire or well half vampire I’ve ever met.”

Jeremy turned to see a group of students huddled around the television. He teleported over there to see what was up. On the screen he saw a live News broadcast from Las Vegas. The image showed what looked like a burning building and a huge amount of cops. There was something else too. Words shaped out of flames for all of the world to see. Where are the X-Men?

IC: Lynae"How..did she die? Well I suppose she was stabbed, I didn't kill that's for sure. And what? You know I was supposed to be white queen until she came and...well you know. I'm just reclaiming what is mine." She smiled at Shaw, her eyes gleaming.
