Since then, Defense Units were created. they are bigger and stronger than the heros, and only have one motive- To Protect. They are not mass produced like heros, due to the extensive amount of armor and power that they have been outfitted with. Yet, one day they may save hero factory from another disaster. ------------ Here is the first of these unites, the X1 Ground Defense Unit. I designed it to do just that; Stand strong and do the heavy fighting. And before I get to the moc please note lighting wasn't in my favor today and I was not using my normal camera, So do excuse the below average photo quality on my part. Obsessionist Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Like alot of HF MOCs, this is somewhat lacking from the back. The black chestplate is a valiant effort, but the arms, legs and shoulders ruin it. It would be alot more work, but I think a fully custom, technic-y frame would better suit this MOC than the HF skeleton. Beyond that, it does look extremely bulky from the front, and I lide the wide shoulders. Gresh's helmet was a great choice. The stars feet on the upper arms float above the actual arms, and look goofy. Maybe a HF 2.0 plate would do better. I love the legs and feet! Great job overall! I might suggest that you add a neck extension, since in the first photo, it looks as if his head is scrunched into his armor, making him look a little TOO bulky.
