Hapori Tohu
New info about LEGO's next licensed video game is coming out, and much of it retains features introduced in LEGO Batman 2, like the open world environment. Also released are a few photos and a trailer, which reveals that voice acting is continuing, but takes audio straight from the films. You can see it all here from Eurogamer.net.View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
Mare Tranquillitatis
Well, an open world game would be great. As well as that "blacksmiths shops" feature. 80 characters? That's pretty big. And, using the Ring to enter the world of the Ringwraiths! This looks very promising!
Toa Smoke Monster
I like that the game uses the actual lines (with the actual voices) from the movies for the characters. I might get this game for my Wii when it comes out. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
Vorahk1Panrahk2
Eh, I don't know about using movie dialogue in these games. I always found the main charm of Lego games are the comedic twists on the source material, and I don't see how that can work with characters saying things in a really dramatic fashion. Maybe it will work, maybe not. We'll see. Hopefully it's available for Mac so I can pick it up. Quote BZPRPG Profiles
Bambi
I like that the game uses the actual lines (with the actual voices) from the movies for the characters.This. Even though I haven't seen the movies, I know it'd be better this way vs Lego getting a bunch of bad voice actors.
