Before reading, please read the Review Topic for some important information.Chapter 1- BlackI opened my eyes. There was wreckage all around me. I remembered another life, a life of... I could not remember much, as black shadows blotted out most of my memories- The same shadows in my heart. But what I did see was light. A faint feeling of warmth and purity. Then... a great darkness came, and my memories ended there. I looked around.I noticed the air was stagnant. I saw several beings, all of them dead. Then I caught a glimpse of my reflection in a puddle of fluid. Those corpses... all had the same face as me. Panic seized my heart. No, no, this can't be real. Why are these dark impulses in my heart? Why am I here? I- I don't understand! I can't remember my past, but I know it wasn't anything like this? Where am I? What's happening? Why can't I remember? This can't be real. It has to be a dream. Wake up. Yes, wake up, Takanuva. Wait- Takanuva? Is that my name? Yes, my name is Takanuva. I remember that now. But what the karzahni is going on here? Calming down, I took another look. There was a complex machine, one that I could not hope to understand. Curiosity got the better of me, and I took a closer look, ignoring the sheer rage coursing through my mind. The machine, it still had a spark of power. I focused my light power, trying to get enough light to examine it further. But instead of light, a bolt of shadow shot out of my hand and destroyed the control panel. Before I could consider the changes that had occurred, I felt a strange sensation. I was moving. I found myself on a strange island. I realized that I must have activated some sort of teleporter and transported myself to an unknown location. Examining my armor, I noticed that it was not white and gold, but black and gray. I quickly pushed those disturbing thoughts from my mind and looked around. Right up against the eastern shore of the island was a door of sorts. I felt strangely compelled to escape, leave this place, which reeked of death, as if the land itself had died. And so, surrendering to my instincts, I walked out the door, and into a whole new world.

Chapter Two- White"Go get 'em, Gresh!""Fight back, Konoma!"I stood in the back of the stands at the arena. Toa normally did not attend Glatorian battles, considering them barbaric. However, I wasn't here to watch the battle. No, I had a mission. I stepped into a side passage. I illuminated the dark tunnel. My senses were on full alert, ready for anything. Artahka had mentioned something about "Kestora" and a "red star", whatever they were. I made my way down the winding path, going deep below the surface of Spherus Magna. Then, I entered a control room of sorts. Seeing nothing important, I proceeded to enter another tunnel, this time a stone staircase going upwards. Then, I stumbled into an enormous room. It was at least four times the size of Metru Nui, and appeared to have once housed an enormous spherical object. Control panels lined the room. I stopped at one and paused, examining it. Suddenly, an alarm went off. Apparently, I had triggered some ancient security system. A large cube launched from a wall, splitting apart and transforming into four hulking mechanoids. They advanced, but I blasted them back. They returned fire, knocking me into a control panel. They started moving towards me again. I had to time this just right. I aimed and fired a high-intensity laser straight through the heads of all four robots. Defeated, they collapsed and exploded. I breathed a sigh of relief. That was a close one. I examined the control panel that I had landed on. I must have landed on a button, because the monitor displayed signs that a process had been triggered. Suddenly, Kopaka, Pohatu, a tall being with a lot of blades, and an Onu-Matoran landed on me, with the Matoran yelling "It works! It works!" for some reason. Later, I would learn that the Matoran's name was Mavrah, the deceased Matoran from the Turaga's tales, and that anyone who died in the Matoran Universe was reincarnated on the Red Star, ready to be transported back. Except that last part didn't work too well. Therefore, Mavrah and the tall being, named Hydraxon, were trapped on the Red Star. Apparently, I had accidentally triggered a failsafe and teleported them back to the place where the Red Star was created. And now..."Okay, what happened, and where are we now?" asked Pohatu.
