Hero Factory Skeleton design.

Recommended Posts

I was messing with the Hero factory bricks in LDD and I came up with a unique custom built skeleton.Pic of skeletonhttp://upload.bricks..._skeleton_1.pngIt the same on the front and back. Here is it with some hero armor. I used Breez since the design looked femininehttp://upload.bricks..._skeleton_2.pngBackhttp://upload.bricks..._skeleton_3.pngBack without armor. The ice shield attaches with technic parts.http://upload.bricks..._skeleton_4.png

that's a neat concept, but I think the body is a bit long. but overall with some reworking, stuff like this could be really useful.

Aha, interesting! Great use of new parts. However, I'm a bit curious as to how stable the shoulders would be in real life, as I'm not sure how much rotation they would get from those new Technic liftarms (with the ball in the middle).

Nice design, but I can't say it has many advantages over a typical prefabricated skeleton, since the added "joints" have very little range of movement. Its main advantage is that when using this skeleton you're not locked in to any particular set of torso proportions. Still, I hope someday to see a method for actually increasing the articulation of a Hero Factory figure that is as simple and versatile as what you've created here. The Breez design feels rather underdeveloped, with somewhat awkward proportions and some areas grossly under-armored, but it's a good demonstration of this skeleton's connection points.
