Oh there is a ton of unscripted stuff in the LotR films. At Helm's Deep when the Uruk-hai are doing their spear-stamping haka thing? One guy started that when he got bored just standing around in the rain. Everyone else started to join in and it wound up in the movie. I think in the third film Theoden batting the Rohirrim's spears with his sword was something Bernard Hill came up with and, again, the crew just thought "well why not?"

I am Ultron Six, a cybernetic intelligence created by Doctor Henry Pym. My imperative is to bring peace and order to this world. I am about to fulfil that imperative; for the extinction of humanity…begins now.

Soon the earth will no longer be habitable for any biological organism: Man, woman, child, plant, animal, fungus or bacterium. All life will cease to exist. This is not a threat, there is nothing you can do to stop it. The process has already begun. I receive no pleasure in this, it is simply the only solution. There must be peace and order, the end of life on earth will ensure that. Goodbye.

Also, in Fellowship, Lurtz the Orc threw a dagger straight at Aragorn. Aragorn deflected it. This was unscripted. Lawrence Makoare's vision was obscured by makeup and threw it at Mortensen's face instead of the nearby tree he was supposed to have thrown it.

He also took a couple of real punches and to the face because of the same vision issue.

Basically, Viggo Mortensen is Aragorn.

Jaffa Cakes have apricot in them rather than orange. It would also take a 90 minute game of football to work off the calories from eating a whole pack of them.

I recall the Nostalgia Critic saying, when discovering that MGM distributed The Garbage Pail Kids - "I can't take anything from them!!" and "oh god, it feels disgusting viewing anything by those people". Which kind of results in a paradox! He says on several occasions he loved the Tom & Jerry cartoons - which were distributed by MGM! There's also the question of the James Bond movies and The Wizard of Oz.

It should be noted, however, that grass is generally not killed by grazing animals, because the roots and the base of the stem remain intact, allowing it to grow back. (Plus, seeing as most cows these days, at least in America, are fed corn instead of grass, and taking the fruit of a plant doesn't really count as killing it... In fact, I don't see a good argument for saying that fruit in general destroys life, especially fruit from plants that do not die after reproducing.

there are only three known only-girl elemental powers: water, electricity, and Pysonics. the reason why Orde is a guy and a toa of Pysonics is because he was hot-headed at the time, and the GB decided that girls would be gentler with it.

If you take a set of 23 randomly-chosen people, there is a 50% chance that two of them will have the same birthday. At 57 people, the probability is 99%. (However, it's not until there are 367 people that it reaches 100%.) This is known as the birthday problem.

The idea for Sonic the Hedgehog games were inspired from the original Mario Bros. game. Sonic's creator said he tried to complete the levels as fast as possible, thus inspiring the Sonic game. Also, the first Donkey Kong game was supposed to be a Popeye (the sailor man) game, but when the license with Popeye's creators ended, the Nintendo CEO filled in the blanks with his own characters (Mario, Donkey Kong, and Pauline).

coke is used by the police to clean blood

in natoma, kansas it is illegal to throw knives at men in striped suits

richard ll died age 33 in 1400 a hole was left in the side of his tomb so that people could touch his corpse (not that i'd want to)

but 376 years later someone took advantage of this and stole his jawbone

in california it is illegal to use dirty underwear to dust

it is a criminal offense to drive a dirty car in russia

if you take any number, double it, add 10, divide by 2 and subtract the original number it'll always be 5

abe lincolns dog, fido was also assassinated O.o

dueling is legal in paraguay as long as both parties are registered blood donors

in england the speaker of the house isn't allowed to speak

it was custom in ancient rome for men to place their hand on their testicles when taking an oath

the modern term testimony is derived from this tradition

Well, of course, that energy would have to be stored, transferred to heat, and applied to the coffee cup.

Also, if you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would get laryngitis and then simply tear your vocal cords, probably well before the coffee was even lukewarm.

Gentlemen, fooling you once with this trick was an honor. Twice was a privilege. It's been a pleasure.

I am most definitely a mad man with a blog.

Roughly twelve, or actually exactly twelve? Twelve seems a lot easier to be precise about than numbers in the 300 range, and I think we'd know if twelve and a half people had been on the moon.

The Flintstones: Although Rosie O'Donnell just doesn't resemble Betty Rubble, she still got the role on the account of her replicating her original giggle.

assuming that Toa are 7 feet tall and that the MU is 4000000 feet tall, it would take 28000000 Toa standing on top of each other to equate to the size of the MU.
