IC: Cyare"No. No more than usual." Noting the glance, Cyare pulled her hood back up all the way, hiding her face once again. She crossed her arms and returned to a silent, almost statue-esque state. She didn't even seem to breath, not a single bit of movement visible to the naked eye.

IC-Cabur:"Cyare. Please," Cabur said firmly, moving so that he was looking the other Mando in the eyes, kneeling down by her. His eyes looked concerned, similar to how Cyare had likely felt a little bit ago-Cabur just showed it more than she did."I'm your friend. At least, I try to be. You can tell me."

OOC: Advent, Erif interacted with Levi a while ago. Here's the actual text.

IC: (Erif, Day One)Erif nodded, relieved that they had agreed. The Jedi rushed after Levi, following his force signature. When he caught up he matched the Padawan's pace. "Hey. I want to show you something."

IC-Cabur:"Because I know that isn't the truth," Cabur said quietly, his blue eyes intense. "I know there's something there, that can't be healed until it's brought to light." He noticed Cyare starting to deny it, again, and he held up a hand."Haat kadala." Truth hurts. "Ru'haaranovor or'trikar ke kyr'amur."

IC: CyareCyare was silent a long moment, meeting her partner's gaze. For an equally long time, her eyes were dead, as cold and impassive as her expression. For a moment, there was a spark of emotion, something too quick to grasp. She stood, brushing past Cabur. "We have an event to attend. I suggest you prepare."

IC-Cabur:Too quick for most. Cabur, himself, didn't quite believe he'd seen it. He remained kneeling in place as Cyare brushed past him, sighing, shaking his head."Tug'yc, Cyare," he said quietly, making Cyare stop, if only to hear him. "Ni ceta. OOC: I'm sorry, I completely missed that.IC: Levi - Coruscant - Day OneLevi was grateful for what force sensitivity he had, otherwise Erif likely would have shocked him out of his skin. He turned to face Erif with a confused blink. "... Okay then." he replied, before gesturing for Erif to lead the way.

IC: (Erif, Day One)Erif nodded and started walking toward his room, talking quietly as he went. "Well, you know Jedi didn't always have lightsabers, right? Master Squarth was always a bit of a traditionalist, and he saw fit to teach me in the ways of the ironsaber." Erif nodded and opened his door, two metal swords glistening on the wall. One was ornate, well cared for and had a jeweled handle. The other was a slightly more dirty blade that had signs of recent use.

IC: (Erif, Day One)The young Jedi smiled at Levi. "Because, seeing as we aren't allowed to carry lightsabers for some time, I reckon I should at least show you a bit about these. Consider it a history lesson." He moved rapidly to a trunk, opening it and rummaging around before pulling out a battered sword that had the same kind of hilt as the recently used one on the wall, but was dull. The worst it could do was a bad bruise. Erif pulled a wooden staff from the wall, about the length of a sword. He held the dull sword out to Levi. "At least see what my old training blade feels like in your hand."

IC: Levi - Coruscant - Day OneLevi hesitantly took the blade. It was well balanced, despite it's very obvious use. It surprised Levi every time how different holding a solid weapon was from holding a lightsaber. Lightsabers were nearly weightless. You couldn't much feel where the blade was, and had to be precise at all times. The solid blade had a very different feeling. you could instinctively rely on the weight. If Levi was honest, he preferred the feeling."This is... This feels great." Levi murmured, swinging the blade gently. Experimentally. "But... I can't imagine the council would allow you to carry this around."

IC: (Erif, Day One)Erif grinned at Levi's reaction. "You're half right. The Council doesn't like me having these. Master Squarth was quite forceful in his will though. And honestly, how good is a lone Jedi with a steel blade going to be against the entire temple with lightsabers?" The Knight shrugged. "There's no denying that our current weapons are more effective, but these should always be remembered."

Ic: Winter caught the rope with reflexive speed and rappelled faster than ever, her leather gloves rubbing so hard a wisp of smoke followed her descent. As her boots hit the ledge, she saw the lights of police speeders as they branched off the transit channels and quickly retracted the hooks of the harpoon and dragged the line behind her. Without waiting a beat she moved quickly to the other end of the ledge and fastened the harpoon to her gun again. FOOM! She hastily tugged and climbed up the slanted roof. It was darker now, her sight was worse now, but she stormed her way to the speeder bike she parked. She would hop on and lead the droids on a merry chase.Unless they beat her to the bike. It was just over the other ridge in the domed rooftop. Her heartrate quickened with excitement as she crested over and-- There she was, untouched since an hour prior. She threw herself down the gutter and rolled when she hit the floor and got on her speeder bike. Two security speeders had detected her motion. Surely they were broadcasting her location and preparing to fire, but she couldn't let them have the satisfaction. She started the engine and throttled it.The bike zoomed out from the gutter and flung itself into the square in front of the operahouse, people still milling about in the plaza. They scattered at the sight of the armored woman on a bike and cleared the way for her to zoom away. This will be fun, was all she thought of as she looked around. Three speeders and two on patrol bikes on the opposite side of the long plaza. One finger on her trigger button of the speeder and the rest of her hands on the handles, she gunned the bike to meet the opposing droids and fired her cannons as the nightlife streaked by.

IC: Faraxa Sabosen [Coruscant; Day One]The Devaronian nodded, her eyes distant for a moment. On one hand, he was right, she was no longer a Jedi, and free to make her own choices in life. But on the other, Faraxa didn't know how much she would like it. Something she had known her entire life had just been ripped away, being replaced by what? She didn't know."Its just so much all at once," Faraxa said, running a hand through her short hair. The resultant look somewhat reflected her current state of mind: confused. Even now, she didn't think that anything would ever be able to fill the gap in her life. Being a Jedi gave her purpose, something she felt she lacked now. With a sigh. the Devaronian leaned back into her chair, gazing up at the ceiling high above.

IC-Cabur:Cabur had stood and turned as well, such that when Cyare dropped her hood he could see her face, her cold expression, not wishing to reveal anything more than it may have already. Still, though, Cabur felt something was...off. That despite her denials, there was hurt there. Something old, older even than what had happened to him, that still burned like a fresh scar.Hearing her words, he nodded, almost like a young child, if only to placate her. Later, he might try to learn more, just as she had learned more of his past. However, for now, he would content himself merely in the thought that he would later attempt to help her again, to heal the hurt she had taken, to do something more than just try to bury it away, despite the fact that that was what he had done, he still knew how little good it truly did."Ni ceta," was all he said. I'm sorry. I kneel. "Nu'ni ru vercopa bah gotal'ur aaray."

OOC: Giant post is giant.IC (Anaxes, De-LUX Gentlemen's House of Chance, Day/Night One)Lokvi Dooku was not a happy man. In truth, he had not been for some time. He was middle-aged and, if he was honest with himself, finding more grey hairs then he would like. He came close to happiness at times and he did experiences joy now and again...mostly after he had cleaned out a casino or won a particularly difficult sabacc match. All of that considered however, he still was not happy. He had not been since the battle of Galidraan. Dooku sighed and turned his head, observing the penthouse the casino had given him in exchange for...well, not calling in the massive amount of credits the casino owed him. It was nice enough, luxurious. Blue carpeting, velvet bedding, but he found no joy in it. For years he had questioned the Jedi orthodoxy, he had stayed with the Order because he had thought, that whatever else it was, it was at least doing some good for the galaxy. Galidraan had changed that.Dooku fell into a nearby chair, eyeing the rooms holoprojector with a sort of irrational anger. The Council...or if he was honest, Yoda and a few others had been so quick to condemn that knight. He had seen to it she had a fighting chance at least...a hearing. The Order was the only thing she had known for her entire life and she had shown every indication of being happy within it. Dooku knew that much, he'd checked. Now, for all she knew, she was alone, a hand severed from it's body. The side of his mouth twitched for a moment before giving birth a scowl. He had been helpless on Galidraan...but that was not the case here. This was something he could fight, a wrong he could right. That should have calmed him somewhat, but it did not. That sense of anger, of rage at the injustices of the galaxy never faded. Still, he had work to do.Pressing a few buttons built in the chairs arm, he activated the holoprojector. A few numerical sequences later, the signal sped across the holonet at breakneck speeds before reaching it's destination, the shining core of the galaxy. Moments later, the image of an annoyed Lott Dod appeared, garbed in his senatorial best. The Neimoidians facial expression changed when he saw who had contacted him however, settling into a look of pleasant satisfaction. A small look of concern did pass through the senators face before he spoke however. "Lokvi, as pleasant as your company is..." Lott Dod hesitated, worried about offending his friend. "...I don't have time to chat at the moment." Dod was busy filing a report for his superiors on the days events.Dooku raised a hand and spoke. "My friend, I need only a moment of your time. If this is a burden..."Lott Dod sighed and shook his head, admitting defeat. "No. No. Please go on."Dooku nodded. "I need a favor. A message that should be kept from certain ears is in need of delivery. It is simple enough...A promise of support and representation in regards to a certain legal matter. The recipient is a Miss Sabosen, Jedi Knight."Dod shrugged, seeing no harm in this. "Very well. I will have my aides locate her...."IC (Hoth, Day Eleven)A bit more snooping would reveal that Tessiv had been sending all of his logs to a certain Captain Malcolm Reynolds via an insanely complex code, and that Boonda had an unpleasant fascination with watching predators duel one another. There were little indications of the trouble until the last few weeks, evidently this had caught the sectors pirates completely by surprise. That wasn't saying much of course, Boonda had been going senile for some time. There were a few records, indicating that Boonda had lost contact with some associates on Bespin, some of them dead without a mark on them according to one rambling journal entry.IC (Coruscant, Day/Night? One)The police droids were good at their jobs, holding a wealth of data on different tactics and regulations, each one was a low-life's worst nightmare. That said, they weren't quite up to par with recent designs and going up against a trained and intelligent assassin was not their ideal function. They performed it with the same mechanical efficiency they applied to every task however, knowing no fear and no hesitation. Two of the speeders sped forwards, angling to trap the assassin in a cross fire or otherwise disable her bike if at all possible. The others peeled off, blocking exits and taking optimum pursuit positions. Overall, they hoped to trap and detain the assassin.Up above the plaza, more flashing lights could be seen. A line of bulky aircars was heading towards the plaza at the highest speed their frame could manage. Printed on the side of these cars was an insignia every criminal feared. A pair of crossed blasters inlaid over the symbol of the Republic. The Coruscanti Special Response Unit was closing in, equipped with advanced SWAT droids, ion weapons and other technologies, they were a force to be feared.

IC: CyareCyare more or less ignored the comment, journeying down the hill far faster than she had ascended it. Even know, her feet made no sound against the ground, remaining as silent as the person they belonged to.The woman moved more or less on autopilot. She was well aware of where she was headed, and kept moving efficiently in that direction, but there was no thought behind it. For all intents and purposes, the light was on, but no one was home.

IC (Sava, Nar Shadda, Day One)Sava nodded and, then just as quickly, snarled. "I don't smuggle. If you looking someone who does that...." She spread her arms wide. "I am certain that many of these fine fellows would be happy to provide for you." There were a few pilots in the cantina, mostly passed out into their drinks or consuming some illicit spice. "If that is not what you seek however, we might be able to come to an understanding." Sava knew this fellows type, small time crime lord judging from the body guards. Maybe a slaver if the Felucian was any indication. You didn't see many beyond their home world and slavery, sadly, was one of the more common ways they get off their home world. Commerce Guild discouraged it, often with blaster bolts, but they couldn't be everywhere and many officials could be bribed.

IC: Yavar paused for a moment, calculating his options."Very well then. I'm looking for someone of a... Higher caliber than a common smuggler- really, there's no smuggling to it. Tell me- What sort of work do you usually do?"IC: Kyto and Cath exited the ship, looking at their surroundings. Knowing the craft would draw attention- perhaps hostile attention- they began moving through the jungle to find a safer camp, Cath carrying the bags while Kyto kept an eye out for danger.

IC (Sava, Day One, Nar Shadda)"My own unique brand of law enforcement. It involves me, getting paid very well, a someone getting a blaster bolt through one of their vital organs. With Hutts, I normally settle for thermal devices." Blaster bolts did blast-all to Hutt hide and being crushed under the weight of a rampaging hermaphroditic slug was not high on Sava's list of things to do. It was near the bottom in fact, right next to settling down and knitting. Or working as a diplomat. Or trusting a smiling politician.IC (Coruscant, Night One, Lott Dod)Lott Dod sat behind his desk, seriously considering downing an entire bottle of painkillers to quiet the headache that now beat about his skull. His senatorial offices were decorated in the typical style of his species. Grand tapestries hung from the walls, busts of Trade Monarchs and barons sat atop pillars made of the finest marble. All about, aides, droids and petitioners swarmed through the halls of the office. His private office was sparsely decorated, as he did not spend much time here, Dod saw no reason to spend money adorning an office few people would see. He handled meetings in a lounge if at all possible. The only decoration in his office was a few chairs and tables, crammed with data storage devices, files and various other tools of the trade. This occasion was an exception to the rule, before him, adorned in robes that indicated his station, was one of his most trusted aides. Rute Gunnay. His fellow Neimoidian was thin and sported a set of narrow eyes and a guarded manner. Rute had clawed his way up the ranks and was an excellent choice when...sensitive matters were involved."...and that is all my associate requires." Dod shrugged, indicating his disinterest in the matter. This was a small, and seemingly unimportant favor, he could analyze it later. "He has entrusted me with this recording." Dod gestured to the spindly armed droid that stood beside his desk. The bug-eyed mechanical passed Rute a small holoprojector. Rute was reliable, Dod didn't need to waste his time on anything other then the mission. Rute could take care of the rest. His narrow-eyed comrade nodded. "Of course. I will ensure it's safety. Have no fear." With that, Rute dismissed himself, sealing the door behind him. Dod spent a few moments fumbling with his desks controls, seeking them out under layers of paper and datapads. Finally his efforts paid off and the private holoprojector built into the desk activated. A small image floated before him. Clad in ornate red robes and sporting an exquisit hat indicating his station, was Nute Gunray, in miniature, but there nonetheless.Dod inclined his head, a show of respect. "Director?" Dod was somewhat nervous, Nute Gunray did not contact him often, merely requested reports and read over them. The only other incident that had brought him into contact with Dod had been the Stark Hyperspace War. This did not bode well for the stability of the galaxy.Nute Gunray's face revealed nothing, his lipless mouth was drawn in a tight line and his eyes were void of any emotion. When he spoke, it was in a soft, yet insistent voice. The voice of someone who had earned their authority and had no qualms about using it. "Senator, your recent report on our guest is of great interest." Dod knew he was referring to the weapon smith, Jaron. "Is it not odd, that a prominent man with such skill and renown would wait so long to bring this dire situation to our attention? And during a confidential set of meetings?" Dod nodded, he knew the Director's mind had latched onto something. "Then...a Sith. Revealing himself to the galaxy. Something is not right here Dod. I do not like the timing on this, and neither does the board. They are distracted by other matters however. I am dispatching an expert to answer some rather pressing questions."The hologram flickered and changed, revealing a tanned, scarred man wearing Mandalorian armor. "Mr. Fett will be arriving within the week. I trust his needs will be taken care of." Dod was now quite pale. Gunray would not spend the credits needed to hire such a man unless he knew something was wrong. Dod didn't blame him of course, the evening news had told him that much. A Sith revealing himself in public, the Jedi rogue....and if channel six was to be believed, an assassin fleeing Opera House.Coruscant was exciting these days.

"Shall this great kingdom, that has survived, whole and entire, the Danish depredations, the Scottish inroads, and the Norman conquest; that has stood the threatened invasion of the Spanish Armada, now fall prostrate before the House of Bourbon? Surely, my Lords, this nation is no longer what it was! Shall a people, that seventeen years ago was the terror of the world, now stoop so low as to tell its ancient inveterate enemy, take all we have, only give us peace? It is impossible! ...My Lords, any state is better than despair. Let us at least make one effort; and if we must fall, let us fall like men!"

IC: At the word Hutt, Yavar's eyes widened in anticipation, and he tapped a button on the table. It began to turn, and he raised his hand to calm to hunter."Just for privacy. This is a Hutt world, after all."He extended his six-fingered hand, his guards placing their hands on the table to show their trust."Yavar Merrin," said the man. "Entrepreneur, Businessman, amateur spice dealer, and.... A bit of a revolutionary."

IC-Cabur:Walking in silence, Cabur and Cyare rather quickly made it back to the ship, where their belongings were stored. They entered through the same latch they had left on, Cabur quickly moving over to his quarters as Cyare walked to hers.About eight minutes later he stepped out, his naturally messy hair combed in such a way as to accentuate that natural quality, a small bronze medallion hanging from a chain of the same material around his neck. He wore a snow-white shirt beneath his green blazer jacket, the undershirt tucked into a tan pair of pants, not unlike his earlier pair, but in much better condition, clasped with a black belt made of bantha hide. He'd shaved-the itch was annoying him, despite the fact that he was trying to grow a beard-so now his face was smooth again, showing off the pale colouration, his blue eyes bright once more as he wated for Cyare to come out, his bright white teeth smiling, only helping to accentuate the handsome look that held to the rest of him.

IC (Kalee, Day Eleven, Chianu Je Gersoku)Chianu lay flat on his belly, submerged in the muck and slime of the lush jungle that these mountains nourished. It was an odd thing, one side of the mountains was full of life and the other was a wasteland of crags and sand. There was a certain poetic duality to it, what the mountains gave to one side, they took away from another. Every action had a price. This sat well with Chianu, it was the nature of things. The Huk had invaded his world, crushed the Kaleesh colonies, and now they would have to pay a price. Their leaders would be slain, their military slaughtered and then, perhaps, he would see if he could eke out a blood toll on whatever stragglers remained. It seemed only fair after what they had done to his people. He disliked this hiding, but he knew it was essential to the war effort. Pride was unimportant. He was here to make contact with a group of bounty hunters, sent by the Trade Federation. There were to show them the reality of the Huk occupation, the great Khagan, Qymaen jai Sheelal had told him as much.Meeting such a warrior, a god of the battlefield, had been one of the greatest joys Chianu had ever known. This thoughts ran through his mind at lightspeed as he eyed the hunter's landing sight through a set of stolen Huk infrared scanners. Sloppy. They hadn't established a perimeter and were making for the hills. Just heading into the jungle like a bunch of dazed cubs. Some of them were at least, a few had not followed the foolish duo. Chianu supposed he would have to send someone to meet them before they got themselves eaten. He and his warriors would strip the shuttle craft clustered in the clearing of the weapons hidden in the deck plating and then they would be off. The Khagan was very interested in meeting these outlanders. If things went well, there world might truly be theirs again one day. The Huk but a distant memory.IC (Sava, Day One, Nar Shadda)The beings body language told Sava all she needed to know. With a degree of hesitation, she sat down. "Who, why, when, where and any preferences for their manner of death?" Straight and to the point. Nice and simple.

IC: (Rorl, Day Eleven)Rorl spoke into his com quietly as he continued to watch the jungle from the craft. "You bantha herders get back here. Running into the jungle on Kalee is not the best idea. I assume that the Kaleesh are meeting us here."

IC(Kubla ibn Mosar, Kalee, Day Eleven): After word had come in that the Trade Federation was sending in a group of bounty hunters to support the insurgency, the band of guerrillas from Kubla's village had been directed to trek eastward along the edge of the desert, to meet up with, in addition to these bounty hunters, a warrior from one of the insurgent groups operating in the jungle. It had been a long trek, with the warriors moving mostly at night to avoid the worst of the desert heat, and moving cautiously then, to avoid the worst of the desert predators. After several nights of marching through the shifting sand, they had reached the foothills of the mountain range that marked the boundary between the lush rain forest and the arid desert, the latter kept dry by the rain shadows of the towering peaks that formed the backbone of the range. On the fifth night, they had reached a valley bordering the jungle, with a level clearing on the near side of the valley, and, for safety reasons, they had made their camp in the shadow of a large rock formation, hiding the nine warriors - of which Kubla ibn Mosar was the youngest - from the air and the valley. It was from this hidden place that they watched the shuttlecraft land on the next day, and waited for the warrior from one of the jungle tribes to make his appearance.

Gentlemen, fooling you once with this trick was an honor. Twice was a privilege. It's been a pleasure.

I am most definitely a mad man with a blog.

IC: Levi - Coruscant - Day OneLevi nodded. "I suppose I understand... What do you intend to do with these?" the Nautolan asked, gesturing to the practice sword still in hand.Arcturus - Coruscant - Day OneArcturus sat, meditating, within his quarters. Contrary to what he would hope, however, the meditation brought him no peace. Rather than answer any questions, it simply opened the doors to more and more. Between the arrival of the apparently harmless Sith, whom Arcturus was certain was not to be trusted, to the departure of Solei, and excommunication of Faraxa, Arcturus was simply not certain everything had played out as it should have.Even more disconcerting was the result of Arcturus' own actions. It wasn't as if Arcturus hadn't made moves to check on his student, but he had chosen not to act, so as to allow the younger guard to handle things. This was how things were usually handled; The master would step in on a mission given specifically to the padawan only if the padawan was unable to handle it. But being unable to handle it had not turned out to be the issue. Had Arcturus known, he could simply stepped in and dealt with the Sith, and perhaps the overall result would have changed. But the outcome that occurred was certainly not one Arcturus had foreseen coming.Bogging himself down with what if's was a terrible idea, so Arcturus attempted to change tracks, but that was not very helpful. The force was... Uneasy, for lack of a better term. There was a feeling of building pressure. Perhaps a lead-in to something. But answers were just as evasive within the force as the were in Arcturus' own mind.Troubling.

IC: Levi - Coruscant - Day OneLevi still looked somewhat uncertain, particularly when he considered the idea of Erif carrying the metal blades aroun, as he was pretty sure that would not meld well with his suspension, but after a few moments, he nodded. "Combat is something I tend to feel comfortable with. I would be honored to train with you, Knight Erif."

IC (Rute Gunnay, Night One, Coruscant)Rute was an efficient being, one who had little use for the doddering sycophants the senate tended to attract like bog flies to a corpse. He prided himself on his frugal sensibilities and his ability to balance even the most lopsided budget. It had not been easy getting here, oh no, he had faced off against beings who were just as clever as he for this position. In the end though, he had had something they did not. Zeal. Rute loved his work. There were few things more stirring then the hum of an efficient bureaucratic system. When he had first arrived, the senator's staff had been in disarray, having lost much of their members during a terrorist attack by the accursed Nebula Front. Within weeks, Rute had had them working at a more efficient rate then ever before. His bank account was healthy and his housing humble, he allowed himself only one indulgence. His speeder, it was a luxury model, outfitted the latest engines, technological upgrades and...just in case, a repeating blaster hidden in the hood. Painted a tasteful deep blue and sporting silver trimming, it was a sight to see.Rute wove through the traffic and passed by other air speeders like a dire-cat through a herd of equines. Rute smiled despite himself, there was nothing quite like racing through the skies of Coruscant, maneuvering through traffic with impunity. It ended far to quickly for his tastes, the holo theater was up ahead, near an empty landing pad that he had already reserved. It had been a simple matter to locate the Jedi. A few calls to a friendly Cathar judge and some security scans later and he had the Jedi's facial imprints and access to the security network that dotted the planet-wide city. With a sigh, Rute landed the craft on the pad, careful not to scratch or otherwise mistreat his pride and joy. He gathered his wits for a few moments, then he stepped out of the speeder. Two B1 battle droids followed suit, exiting from the rear doors, blasters hanging at their sides. Rute was not a trusting being and any thieves or muggers would be dissuaded by the presence of battle droids. Leaving one the droids behind to guard his speeder, Rute his lone bodyguard made their way towards the theater.

IC: (Erif, Day One)"And I with you, Padawan Levi." Erif went silent for a moment, and when he spoke his voice was thoughtful. "Tell me, how much training have you received in Form 1?"
