An interesting article popped up on TechHive today. The Seamless Toy Company has put together a Kickstarter for a product called 'Atoms,' which purports to be a system that will allow you to add functions, lights, and interactivity to any toy, with LEGO sets being a prime example. While it definitely seems to fill a similar niche to Mindstorms, the form factor seems more conducive to System MOCs versus Technic.
