Dual Cee
Wherever you journey, they will adapt to your surroundings. No terrain, no climate, no wind or wave will ever be your master.I created a version of Kopaka Nuva adapted for the red star. I added more armour pieces and tried to be creative in doing so. A hard thing was making the telescope piece of the Akaku. Another thing was the sword I had really no ideas until I saw the Toa Krakua model and used his idea as base for Kopaka's.With this armour Kopaka won't be killed by the many dangers the Star has:Front : http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/kopaka_star3_front.pngBack : http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/kopaka_star2_back.pngOnua adapted armor. Like tahu star, old design new pieces. Not very special.Front : http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_onua2_front.pngSide : http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_onua2_side.pngAdded Pohatu adapted for the star, this was a hard one due I wanted to use brown instaid of orange, so I had a limitation of usable blocks. Also I granted him some andheld weapon and gave him his feet additions back I wanted to use a warhammer because I imagened I to look so cool when I listened to Dark Mirror.I turned around his torso to look more feet adapted.Front:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_pohatu3_front.pngBack:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_pohatu3_back.pngLewa adapted for the jungles of Bota Magna:Fronthttp://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_lewa2_front.pngBack:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_lewa2_back.png Yeeey Gali is done enjoy this is in my opinion my best MOC Front: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_gali_front.png Back http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dual-Matrix/MOC/adaptive_gali_back.png Edited December 11, 2012 by Dual Matrix Quote I'm back! CeeCee
Well its certainly interesting, however the parts seem clunky or our of place, I aslo feel the torso looks really out of place, and also stops the back being as detailed because of itI do however, like the feetI also like how you did the eye piece. Dual Cee
Thanks the feet were a last minute adaptation and the eyepiece costed me an half hour to find out how I had to build it.You're right about the torso I will remove it, Update coming soon... BrickPharaoh
Or better yet, do you think you could upload the LDD file and I would make some alterations and then post them here? CeeCee
I really feel you bring a lot of originalty to your MOCs. I take it you do it digitally rater than I by hand. Correct me if Im wrongAs for Mr.Pohatu, I see what you tried to do with the inverted torso, but IMO it just douest looke right. I think the only reason why Pohatu had an inverted torso in the first place was so he could kick, so this had ne real reason to be like it. I cant tell you what to put and not put in your own MOCs, so please, you can tell me where to go if you want.I do however, like Lewa a lot. You used a femine mask, but it still works out nicly. The only things that bug me are the knee kaps(They look really out of place) and the wings look slightly odd. Maybe instead of using Kopaka blades, you could try something shorter. Good work so far buddy. Keep it up. I take it its just Tahu and Onua now, unless you plan to do Takanuva as well Quote Signature Guidelines: Avatar and signature total file size may not exceed 250 KB! Dual Cee
You're right about the pohato upside down torso, You'll see how i'll fix that. Also I will adapt the wings and replace the leg Armor. After that I'll finish onua. and all the Nuva's are done due tahu already has a Spherus Magna form. Most likely I will make Takanuva then.Ok updated: Onua -- First FinishLewa -- New leg armor and adapted wingsPohato -- Made the upside down torso fit better. Chro
Certainly some interesting ideas here. Just a tip- working in LDD Extended will allow you to use any available part in any color, regardless of whether it was ever in a set or not. Dual Cee
Thanks for the tip I will update all my things tomorrow. In the meantime you guys can tell me if you like or not Quote I'm back!
Canis Lycaon
Personally, I think that Onua, Pohatu, and Lewa all look a bit... skinny. If you are limited by the colors of the parts, then I think you can use Universe mode to have any piece in any color. Quote I used to have a banner here. But that RPG is dead. What now?
