LEGO Helps Kid Land a Job at LEGO

Recommended Posts

Like many of us, eight year-old Sam Johnson dreamed of working for LEGO someday. He ambitiously wrote to the company asking for advice on how he could get a job working for them. LEGO sent him back some career advice - which Sam proceeded to follow for the next fifteen years. Now, at 23, he's landed a job at Bilund as a Junior Designer. Says a LEGO spokesperson, "Sam's case is very special, since he so determinedly followed the advice he got from us about employment when he was a young boy."http://www.bzpower.com/story.php?ID=5934]View the full article[/url]

Yeah, this is pretty old. :P

I'm really good friends with Sam, actually. He even tweeted me once telling me how much of a fan he was of The Ninjago Wiki, and then offered to do a review with us. (funny how that review of mine was also featured on BZPower News, and now we're finally getting news that he became a LEGO designer.) :P
