BIONICLE MAFIA III: BY THE NUMBERS - WITH A VENGEANCE

Well, at least we're getting somewhere...

x1 Villager left.

x1 Detective.

x1 Medic

x1 Turaga

x1 Ancient

x1 The Shadowed One

The majority of people are now special roles. Detective, Medic, Turaga, form a plan please? It's four versus 2. Also, last villager, whoever you are, reveal yourself.

...Since I know who the Medic and Turaga are, that's two potential eliminated... oh dear. Either the dark hunters have planned this very carefully and we're all about to be dead, or we're on the verge of winning. Well, the living are, anyway.

On Bota Magna, everything is about to fall apart.

Logistically difficult, and those roles would be better filled by more unaffiliated psychopaths who kill at random because i am a bloodthirsty son of a gun dangit

There actually was a short-lived Mafia spinoff in this forum that ran on that premise a few years ago. Went on for two or three games, and then, um... I think the Dataclysm happened and everyone gave up on it? I dunno. My memory is getting fuzzy.

Well, I would just want one game with this, and still have villagers. So yes or no. Do you want two mafias? I will be keeping a tally.

I used to have a banner here.

But that RPG is dead.

What now?

I vote yes because why not.

Even more if there are double the amount of unaligned killing machines. I guess there would have to be a lot more villagers to compensate for it though?

On Bota Magna, everything is about to fall apart.

I'd say you'd need a few more Villagers, but also just a smaller Mafia group - instead of one group of six Mafiosi with 18 Villagers (for example), you might have 20 Villagers with two groups of three Mafiosi.

Also Zakaro, the next game is yours, so I'd say do what you want.

Yea, I was planning on have something like this, with groups A and B:

MafiaA- 1 Godfather figure, 3 Mafians

MafiaB- Same

MedicA, MedicB

DetectiveA, DetectiveB

PyroA, PyroB

SpecialA, SpecialB

VillagersA, VillagersB

Other stuffs for this-

I'm going for an amount of around 25-30 people, perhaps more if there's enough participants.

The 'Special' roles will be the only ones different between groupA and B

Debating possibility of having things like MedicA can only save people from MafiaA and PyroA, DetectiveA only finds out roles of other A Specials

All names are just place holders to illustrate what I'm going for here.

Discuss. :P

They call me Zakaro. You should too.

Yes, especially if this is your first time hosting a Mafia game - keep things as simple as possible, but feel free to try something new out at the same time. Even if you just create a variation of a role, or change something up in the format or whatever, keep it simple.

Mr. Shadowed One, my good friend, I did this just for you. A beautiful scene, albeit lacking in the gratuitous murder that was given for Xaeraz. We ran out of that. But maybe you'll enjoy it just the same.

It's too bad nobody important for the Village seems to want to cough cough cough cough coguh skdfbksdfg

MOVING ON

Mafia III: Scene VI

“Who do you think we should kill?” asked Ancient as he and the Shadowed One strolled down Ninth Street, shotguns in hand.

“I think we should kill #15. He’s suspicious.”

“We don’t even know who he is!”

“Well, yeah, but he’s suspicious.”

“How is somebody suspicious if we don’t even know who they are?! Actually, on top of that, how do we kill them?!”

“Well, how have we killed anyone else?”

Ancient paused to think about it, and the Shadowed One walked several steps before realizing his final pawn wasn’t with him.

“I guess you have a point.” Ancient conceded, jogging to catch up with the Master of Blades. “So what now?”

“Well, I dunno. Now that I think about it, you do have a point.”

“Huh?”

“We don’t know who #15 is. Maybe we should go for #3 instead.”

“Why?!”

“Well, I dunno. Why not? What if #15 is the Detective?”

“I’ve been trying to tell you that for awhile. If #15 is the Detective, then the Medic is surely covering at him. If the two aren’t in contact by now, I feel like there’s no point in life at all.”

“Why do you think they’d be in contact?”

“Well, look at last game.”

Ancient pulled out his iBrow Touch and pulled up BIONICLE MAFIA II: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO.

“See? Lloyd was the Medic here, right? And our oh-so-wonderful iBrow was the Detective. So the two got into contact, and then they covered for each other the entire game. Which was actually mostly just Lloyd covering iBrow, because the Detective can’t do jack to protect people.”

“Can’t do jack?”

“It’s an expression.”

“Oh. Continue.”

“Anyway, that was from the very first round, right? So they trusted each other immediately. So this far into our game, if the Detective and Medic aren’t being completely honest with each other, well, good grief.”

Meanwhile, at the Detective’s House:

“So, Mr. Detective, now that you’ve discovered me and I’ve discovered you….” The Medic trailed off as he sipped his coffee. “You obviously know my number, then, but that doesn’t help me to protect you. Could you fill me in?”

“How do you know I’m even the Detective?”

“…are you the Detective?”

“Yes.”

“Okay then. So, you know who I am then.”

“How do you know that I know who you are?”

“…did you investigate me and find out my identity?”

“Yes.”

“Good grief man, slim it. I’m supposed to be the one with less brains here, not you. So, can I have your number, so that I can, you know, protect you from the Dark Hunters and all that jazz?”

“What?”

The Medic sighed impatiently. “I asked you to give me your number so that I can protect you.”

“Well, that’s just pointless.”

The Detective snorted and rolled his eyes with disbelief. Who in their right mind would trust the Medic with their number?

Later, at the Secret Mafia Lair:

“So we’re going to kill #3?” Ancient asked.

“Nah, I decided to just kill #15. Make it simple.” The Shadowed One responded. “I’m sure iBrow will be fine.”

“What if #15 is the Detective?”

“Well, I’m sure we can fail to kill somebody once. Right?”

“Uh, no, but whatever.”

The two froze as the door slowly creaked open. The Shadowed One ducked out of sight and watched as the Detective and Medic entered the room – the Detective was muttering something about the Medic making sure to protect him.

The Detective had also forgotten to remove the large badge on his chest that said “HELLO MY NAME IS the giant space butterfly AND MY NUMBER IS 15”.

So the Shadowed One cackled, stepped into the light, and impaled the Detective on his staff. The Detective groaned and glanced at the Medic, who only stood there.

“Why don’t you help me?” the Detective pleaded.

“Well, you didn’t tell me your number, stupid.” The Medic explained. “So I picked some random guy, and since my medicine machine ain’t activating, I’m gonna go ahead and guess that I picked the wrong guy.”

“Well… snap. And I just realized who somebody important was, too.” The Detective sighed. “Well, if you all want me, I guess I’ll be at the Eternally Burning Chattering Corpse Heap for all of eternity.”

Detective Killed by the Shadowed One.

The Shadowed One sighed. “He wasn’t the Turaga! Again! Why the heck must this Turaga always be so not anywhere?!”

“I know, right?” the Medic asked. “He hasn’t even helped us. It’s almost like he’s missing in action or something.”

The Suspects of the Murder:

#1 – Numero Uno might be the only man standing if things continue how they are.

#4 – He killed for eggnog, is emotionless, and dislikes apples. Also an astonishingly small target, considering that he seems to be a suspect at every single scene.

#11 – An astonishingly large target – he and #4 up there (man, that #4 is one snazzy and skulking guy) like to witness these scenes, and maybe partake. There’s gotta be a reason the Pyro targeted him…

...Well ######. I was wrong.

See, I told you that the Detective should have investigated Blade right off the bat!

I was about to vote, then I noticed the bit about #4 being at every single scene as well. Now I'm not sure what else Blade lied about.

Quiet you. You're #19 and a Hunter.

Also, #1 and #4 are not guilty, so go vote Eleven.

Oh, well there's no sense in hiding it anymore.

I vote for #4.

P.S. iBrow, you may want to amend your scene to reflect the fact that the reason we changed back to #15 (which was a hunch anyway) was because Zakaro told me he didn't know the Detective's number. ;)

Oh dang it. I knew there was a reason it seemed suspicious that Lloyd was hiding his number. If he was a villager, he'd have nothing to hide. But looking back, he evidently did.

...as for number 11, does anyone here specialise in reviving people and time travelling? No? Not even the Medic? If you aim to kill the Blade, he will first play rock, paper, scissors with you. He will pick paper. Pick scissors. Then, kill him with fire.

He killed me, so I suggest you follow my advice and kill him. He claimed to be the Turaga. Evidently, that was false.

And now I know why I died. Rather foolishly, I told Blade my number right after I told him one of my targets was 11, and my plan was to kill the hunters. Literally a few hours before I died. Let's not make that mistake again. Joke's on him though, he lost a potential ally if he was charismatic enough. Could've killed even more people.

On Bota Magna, everything is about to fall apart.

Wrong. I killed you. You were Negative, the Pyro. You didn't exactly have good intentions either, you know.

Veigar [Village Feet> Squishy

Okay, M.I.A. is a villager. All of the other worlds have been seen in action, so they must still alive. He hasn't been active for nearly a month, so he can't be anything else.

But at the end of the scene, it said that the Turaga is "missing in action." Why that choice of words then?

Actually; you only told me your number range, and literally right after the scene was posted, I facepalmed; simply because I didn't want you dead. The number debate actually did happen. =P I just didn't expect 7 to really be you at the time; once you mentioned your range, I had doubts, but it was too late to change, since everyone else was like 'KILL NUMBER SEVEN KILL SEVEN RAAAAAAAAAH'.So, yeah; for those who don't know, I had an elabourate plan going on for the last few rounds, involving me claiming Turaga; which, thanks to the real Turaga being gone for the entire game, worked out perfectly. =P I really wish some things had gone differently(Like that vote counting, so that I could've sent him instead, and have this reveal saved for the finale; and Negative NOT dying. =P), but it was really fun; and I'm sorry I deceived you all, it was a necessary thing for my survival. =PAlso, yes, Hat is right, I sent Veigar out in the second round, but due to Hat's unfortunate mention, you guys inadventently saved the killer not once, but TWICE. I was amused. =PFor the record, I vote to kill 4 as well.

Indeed; that really is a good thing, especially now of all times. =PI'll admit, I was kinda slightly worried in the second scene, and then when the third round thing happened. But, we pulled ourselves together, and this might just be a close call.

For what it's worth, since we're being transparent, I actually did try to kill Lloyd off at one point, on accident.

Hahahaha; that was hilarious, yet I only realized it after the fact, when re-reading the topic and PM for details on who might be who. Also, for the record, I tried to get the detective killed TWO rounds ago in the lynching, but, well, that failed. =P
