TRANSFORMERS: ETERNAL CONFLICT

(Discussion topic can be found here)

THE STORY:

Far in the future, in the space between universes, the dark god Unicron lies battered, bruised, and dying. To satisfy his never-ending hunger and hopefully revitalize his body, he begins kidnapping Transformers from all corners of the Mulitiverse and pitting them in gladiatorial combat. These battles give off residual energy that the eater of worlds can absorb, and the defeated lose their sparks to the pit of his stomach. Entire planets are brought from alternate universes to supply this ravenous sport. Primus, Unicron's brother and opposite, takes notice to this and begins assembling his own army, the Children of Primus to free the kidnapped transformers. In retaliation, Unicron forms his own faction, the Minions of Unicron. Battles erupt across entire worlds between these two factions composed of warriors from across the multiverse. However, there are those that do not seek out war. From those who escaped Unicron's bowels and chose not to take sides, a new faction is forged. These Paxitrons ally themselves with the humans and other organic races inhabiting the planets Unicron has taken, giving them weapons to defend themselves and ships to travel across Unicron's pocket dimension.A war is being waged, one for the fate of the entire multiverse. Which side will you choose?

THE SETTING:

Unicron has created his own star system to sustain the planets he has taken. The star is known as Leviathan, and several worlds from different universes orbit it.

(Map [obviously] not to scale)

Leviathan: A star chosen by Unicron to host his potential meals. About the size and age of Earth's sun.Unicron: The planet-eater himself. Orbits Leviathan in his planet form, and is in turn orbited by two moons that serve as prisons for the bots he has captured. Within him is the gladiatorial arena and the headquarters of the MoU.Earth 1 (G1 IDW Continuity): This Earth is from one of the many continuities collectively referred to as "Generation One." It quickly fell to the Minions once Unicron took it. While a few pockets of civilization still exist, it has been largely abandoned by Humans in favor of Earth 2 and Gigantion.Earth 2 (Aligned Continuity): The government on this planet was largely aware of Cybertronians even before the Universe War, as such, they were well-prepared for the attack that occurred when it was pulled into the pocket universe. It is currently under the control of the Children of Primus and serves as a refuge for humans and bots alike, whether they're aligned with the CoP or the Paxitrons, though the CoP have constructed a headquarters here.Gigantion (Unicron Trilogy Continuity): This world is mostly populated by neutral bots of massive stature (even for Cybertronians) and Mini-Cons that assist in construction and maintenance. It managed to ward off the MoU on its own, but it currently serves as a headquarters for the Paxitrons (the faction originated there, after all) and a refuge for humans and bots that haven't taken sides in the war.Cybertron -1 (Shattered Glass Continuity): This world comes from a strange mirror universe where the Autobots were an evil force that sought to conquer the galaxy and the Decepticons rose as a resistance to stop them. Its inhabitants, mostly Autobots, have allied themselves with the MoU as they share similar goals. A few groups of Decepticons still reside on the planet, but they are few and far between.Cybertron 2 (Aligned Continuity): This world is ravaged by a substance known as Dark Energon that is said to be the blood of Unicron himself. Perhaps this is why it fell so quickly to the MoU. The Decepticons there have joined the Minions.

THE CONTINUITIES:

Generation One: G1 encompasses several micro-continuites, so for the sake of everyone's sanity, they will be divided into the following four:-Wings of Honor: Primus does not exist in this universe. Instead, the Cybertronians were originally machines built by a race known as the Quintessions for slave labor. The Autobots were the workers and the Decepticons were the soldiers. Eventually, they rebelled and took control of Cybertron, the factory planet on which they were all built. Eventually, however, the Autobots and Decepticons found that their ideals clashed, and this disagreement spiraled out of control until a civil war broke out.-Classics/Marvel Comics: In this universe, Primus and Unicron were both created by an extra-dimensional entity known as The One to explore the multiverse. However, it soon became apparent to Primus that Unicron was a corrupt being. While Primus was no match for his brother in combat, he had his advantage in cunning. He trapped both himself and his brother in metallic planetoids. Unicron managed to form his own body into a large, robotic form, while Primus transformed himself into a habitable world: Cybertron. After performing experiments on a nearby planet, during which he successfully created twelve transforming robotic beings that would later be known as The Covenant of Primus, he birthed from the core of his body thirteen beings that could change their shape much like Unicron. These were the Primes, the first thirteen transformers. However, one of these Thirteen, Megatronus Prime, betrayed Primus and became an acolyte of Unicron. This culminated in a battle in which Unicron and Megatronus, now dubbed The Fallen, were thrown into a black hole, never to be seen again.Millenia later, a civil war erupted amongst the Primes' descendants, who parted to form the Autobots and Decepticons.-IDW Comics: The storyline of this universe is very similar to the Marvel Comics timeline. The major difference is that IDW wrote for a more mature target audience, and so, the storyline here is grittier and more modern; Autobots and Decepticons alike die much more frequently, and the plots are more serious (rather than Megatron creating a device to remotely control the Autobots' processors, he creates a railgun and tries to wipe out Autobot City)-Beast Wars/Beast Machines: This timeline takes place in the far future of the Marvel Comics universe. In an effort to conserve energon, the lifeblood of all transformers, they have diminished their bodies to about the size of your average silverback gorilla (this varies between bots, however). The civil war still goes on, but now between the Maximals and Predacons, the descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons, respectively. The civil war ended after Cybertron was transformed into a techno-organic world where the inhabitants took the forms of animals from prehistoric Earth (thanks to Optimus Primal's journey there).Shattered Glass: This is a strange negative-polarity universe where the Autobots, led by the sadistic and evil Optimus Prime, try to conquer Cybertron and the Decepticons, led by the heroic Megatron, rise to stop them. The origin of this universe is unknown, though it most likely diverged from the IDW continuity at a point in the ancient past.Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon, Cybertron): There are two notable differences from this continuity and most others: one is the existence of Mini-Cons, a race of miniature transformers that can combine with their larger counterparts for a boost in power and energy. The second is several subtle but fundamental differences in the anatomy of the robots; Sparks are much less fragile and can even be removed and sustained while the body was undergoing repairs or upgrades. The bots were also more bulky in most cases and frequently changed appearance and alternate modes.Movie-verse: Rather than originating from Primus, the bots of this universe were created by an ancient and possibly sentient relic known as the AllSpark. There were seven Primes rather than thirteen, and Cybertron was powered by harvesting the energy of stars with devices known as Star Harvesters. These would be placed on a planet orbiting the chosen star and were activated by a device called the Matrix of Leadership. It would then convert the star's mass and energy into Energon. The one rule for this practice was that a Star Harvester could not be placed on a planet populated with life, sentient or otherwise. However, this rule was broken when The Fallen placed one on Earth. A battle ensued between The Fallen's forces and those of his brothers that ended with The Fallen being sealed in a sarcophagus that was buried on Cybertron and the Matrix being hidden in a tomb composed of the bodies of the Primes themselves. The civil war here was started when the Lord High Protector of Cybertron, Megatron, found the sarcophagus and formed the Decepticons under The Fallen's telepathic will.Bots from this universe feature very intricate designs and are much more violent, whether Autobot or Decepticon.Animated: Unlike the Cybertron of most universes, this universe's Cybertron is controlled by the Autobots, while the Decepticons are scattered across the galaxy. This universe's robots also originate from an AllSpark. In this universe, Autobots never take on flying alternate modes and tend to be less suited for combat than the Decepticons.Aligned: This universe seems to be a merging of all known continuities. Though this universe has an AllSpark of its own, it is merely an extension of Primus's essence and serves as a means of creating more robots via the Well of All Sparks. The civil war in this universe originated from Cybertron's corrupt caste system. Two bots, Orion Pax and Megatron, sought to lift this system in favor of a more balanced government. However, when Orion Pax was renamed Optimus and given the title of Prime, Megatron betrayed the cause and led his Decepticons against Optimus's Autobots.TransTech: Cybertronian society is much more advanced in this universe. It serves as a hub for all other universes, and monitors all trans-dimensional activity. As such, the Universe War is a huge concern for them, but they are still debating over how to intervene.

THE RULES:

1. No god-modding. Basically, don't do anything that would be beyond your character's (and the multiverse's) limits, both mental and physical. For example, one Child of Primus isn't going to be able to take down a whole squad of Unicron's Minions.2. Do not bunny (take excessive control of) or kill other characters without the owner's permission. For example: "Bob threw a rock at Joe's foot, killing him."(In this case, Bob would be the offending player's character, while Joe is another player's character.)3. No metagaming. Everything that your character knows IC must be learned in some way. For example, your CoP general isn't going to know the MoU's battle plan unless he has acquired the intelligence somehow.4. This one goes along with #1: No deus ex machina. Basically, don't god-mode to get your character out of a tricky situation. For example, if your character is surrounded by an enemy squad, he/she can't suddenly take off with his/her rocket boots and escape without a single scratch.5. Don't excessively argue with other players. Any debates that last more than 5 posts will be deemed arguments and be forcefully resolved by a staff member.6. Include the phrase "Burning Justice" when posting your profile so I know that you read this.Any rule-breaking will be dealt with like so:First infringement: You are issued a warning by a staff member. Don't do it again.Second infringement: You are warned again and the offending character is dealt a life-threatening injury.Third infringement: The offending character is killed and you are temporarily suspended from the RPG.Fourth infringement: All of your characters are killed and you are given a suspension twice as long as the previous one.Fifth infringement: Permanent ban, no warnings, no questions asked.(Rule #5 is an obvious exception to this)

THE GUIDELINES:

1. Use IC for speaking in-character and OOC for speaking out-of-character. Example:IC:"One shall stand, one shall fall," Optimus Prime declared.OOC: Decepticon86, that's your cue.2. Don't take anything IC personally. If one player's character seems to not like one of your characters, don't take it as an insult to you.3. Likewise, don't harass other characters IC with the intent of making a given player feel bad.4. LISTEN TO THE STAFF. I cannot stress this enough.

5. Please include IC content in every post you make. Anything OOC-only goes in the Discussion Topic.

THE PROFILES:

To create a character, fill in one of these profile sheets and post it in the topic. A staff member will review it.For a Cybertronian Character:Name: (Calling a character Prime generally entails an important rank, so PM me before posting a Prime)Gender: (Despite being alien robots, Cybertronians can have the characteristics of a certain gender)Faction: (Minions of Unicron, Children of Primus, Paxitrons, etc.)Home Universe: (G1, Aligned, Movie, etc, or maybe an unknown universe, PM me or refer to TFwiki for help on this)Appearance: (A detailed description or image of how your character looks. Bots can vary in size from grasshopper-sized insecticons to giants the size of skyscrapers. No larger for normal PC's, though)Alternate Mode: (Almost all Cybertronians can take on an alternate form, be it a car, jet, or animal)Weapons: (Keep it realistic and not overpowered; no character is going to wield the Star Saber)Personality: (How your character thinks, feels, and acts)Skills/Special Abilities: (Again, keep it realistic)Weakness: (Nobody's invincible)Bio: (A summary of your character's past, preferably more than one sentence long)For Humans:Name: (No nonsense names, like Awesomedude1234 or ASKDFH)Gender: (...Do I really have to explain this?)Faction: (Who do they fight for/align themselves with?)Homeworld: (Please pick a planet inhabited by humans and currently part of the Leviathan system)Appearance: (A detailed description or image of how your character looks)Weapons: (In a war dominated by giant robots, it's a good idea to arm yourself)Other Equipment: (Any other appliance that wouldn't really fit into the category of "weapons")Skills: (Anything your character is good at. May possibly have superpowers, but PM me about it first; I won't accept very many superhumans)Personality: (How your character thinks, feels, and acts)Weakness: (If giant robots aren't invincible, humans probably aren't either)Bio: (A summary of your character's past, preferably more than one sentence long)Other:If you want a custom species that is neither human nor Cybertronian, PM me with a custom profile (you must at least have a detailed description of the species, a name, an appearance, a home world/universe, and a weakness. A bio would be nice, too).

A note on Alignment: If you participated in Transformers: Alignment before it was closed, feel free to use characters from that RPG. Just fill in a profile for them using the above template and list their home universe as Alignment rather than Aligned.

THE STAFF'S PROFILES:

Important NPCs:

Name: Optimus PrimalGender: MaleFaction: Children of PrimusHome Universe: Beast WarsAppearanceAlternate Mode: Silverback GorillaWeapons: A sword and a flail constructed of durable Cybertanium, as well as a handheld blaster.Personality: Noble and trustworthy. Primal's participation in the Beast Wars has hardened him into a leader and a warrior. He expresses a hatred for evil and a distaste for the mindless killing that Unicron's Minions often participate in. However, he is also still young and somewhat rash.Skills/Special Abilities: Primal can use the Matrix of Purification to cleanse any bot of Dark Energon poisoning or Unicron's nanotech virus (more on that below).Weakness: Primal is afflicted by a radioactive nanotech virus engineered by Unicron that is slowly eating away his body from the inside. If his emotions get the better of him, he can become completely paralyzed or even catatonic for long periods of time. Bio: At the end of the Beast Wars, Primal sacrificed himself in order to stop Megatron and convert Cybertron into a techno-organic paradise. However, when Unicron began to threaten the multiverse, Primus brought him back to life in order to lead the Children of Primus against the Minions of Unicron. In his first raid on Unicron's prison moons, he was severely damaged and infected with the nanotech virus. Despite this, he still leads his faction with pride.

Name: Reptilion

Gender: MaleFaction: Minions of UnicronHome Universe: Unknown, possibly alternate Beast Wars universeAppearanceAlternate Mode: A techno-organic frilled lizard.Weapons: Capable of firing an explosive projectile from his mouth in beast mode. Carries a staff in robot mode that fires energy blasts.Personality: Cold, calculating, and extremely intelligent. He is ruthless in battle, and isn't afraid to tear his foes to shreds.Skills/Special Abilities: His prowess in mathematics comes in handy during battle; his aim is perfect when using long-range missiles and artillery.Weakness: Reptilion is physically weaker than most other bots and his armor plating isn't as thick.Bio: In his home universe, Reptilion was a scholar and a genius. Then, on a routine exploratory mission, he was taken by Unicron and forced to work on the dark god's damaged interplanetary drive. Since then, he has made many advancements in interplanetary travel, specifically in the field of warp gates. He is currently Unicron's longest-serving general.

Name: MetroplexGender: MaleFaction: PaxitronsHome Universe: Unicron TrilogyAppearance (That car near his foot is about the size of your average Earth sports car for size comparison)Alternate Mode: A massive Cybertronian excavator with a plow in the front and a giant rotary scoop. In addition, he can transform into a more squat, wider robot mode that is better fit for manual labor.Weapons: While he is a pacifist, his vehicle mode scoop can form a massive staff.

Personality: Metroplex is a calm, intelligent being who greatly prefers peace over armed conflict. He wishes only to see his planet restored to its rightful place in space and time.Skills/Special Abilities: His sheer size and strength can give him quite an edge in battle.Weakness: Though he is a formidable opponent, he very rarely chooses to engage in combat. In addition, his size makes him an extremely easy target.Bio: Metroplex was the leader of the Cybertronians on the planet Gigantion during his universe's Cybertronian Civil War. However, shortly after he took leadership (long before the events of Transformers: Cybertron), his planet was pulled into Unicron's pocket dimension. The residents of Gigantion managed to fend off the first wave of Unicron's Minions and declared themselves independent from the Autobots and the rest of the Universe War's participants. Thus, the Paxitrons were born, and now, Gigantion serves as the main headquarters of the new faction and as a refuge for those who seek to escape the conflict.

Designation: Zarak

Homeworld: Earth 1

Function: Mobile bipedal battlesuit and headmaster unit for Scorponok for use only by Leland Dante.

Appearance

Weapons: A laser blaster mounted on each shoulder and a heavy-caliber machine gun in each arm. Each machine gun is supplied with armor-piercing BMG rounds via an ammo belt with a capacity of up to 2000 rounds each.

Weakness: As one can imagine, the amount of ammunition the Zarak unit carries can weight it down quite a bit. As well, if used extensively, the machine guns and laser blasters can be subject to overheating.

Bio: The Zarak unit was constructed from the remains of Scorponok's head as a part of Abraham Dante's original binary-bonding project. However, when Leland took over the Machination, it was modified to fit the needs of Leland's new bonding process and retrofitted with additional weapons.[/spoiler]

Zyke:

Name: ShellshockGender: MaleFaction: Minions of UnicronHome Universe: MovieAppearanceAlternate ModeWeapons: A sniper rifle (shown in his appearance pic) and an energon blade. In vehicle mode, he is equipped with missile launchers that can deal quite the punch.Personality: Bloodthirsty and very insane. He enjoys picking off his enemies from a distance much more than engaging them in close combat. Often times, after a kill, his sadistic laughter can be heard echoing across the battlefield.Skills/Special Abilities: Extremely good marksman.Weakness: He is less-equipped for combat at closer ranges. Bio: Shellshock was one of the numerous Decepticons hidden on the Earth's moon after the Ark crashed there. Shortly after being space-bridged into Washington DC and scanning his alternate mode, a mysterious spaceship swooped in and abducted him to serve in Unicron's army. Now, he gladly serves in battle, picking off Children of Primus from afar.Name: WaspinatorGender: MaleFaction: Children of PrimusHome Universe: Shattered GlassAppearance: His armor plating in robot mode is dull purple and black. The head of his beast mode ends up on his chest and the legs extend from his robot-mode arms, giving him a very insectoid appearance, complete with abdomen.Alternate Mode: A giant purple and black wasp.Weapons: A handheld blaster and an energy blade.Personality: Unlike his positive-polarity counterpart, he is quite intelligent. His speech is very clear and precise.Skills/Special Abilities: His intelligence greatly assists him in battle. His armor is also some resistance to explosive damage.Weakness: While his armor is resistant to explosive damage, it is less resistant to non-explosive projectiles and energy-based attacks.Bio: Far in the future of the Shattered Glass universe, Waspinator assisted his leader Megatron as he and the Predacons attempted to steal the famed Golden Disk out of the evil clutches of the Maximals. Although outnumbered and nearly outgunned, they escaped on a craft that Waspinator managed to secure. They were sent through a mysterious time warp and ended up on prehistoric Earth with the cruel Optimus Primal pursuing them relentlessly. Waspinator scanned a wasp as his alternate mode. However, shortly after his first battle with the Maximals, he was whisked away by Primus to join the fight against Unicron and his Minions.

Name: Caleb RowesGender: MaleFaction: The Machination (see bio for more info)Homeworld: Earth 1AppearanceWeapons: Caleb's loadout depends on the mission he's being sent on, though he prefers heavy weapons.Other Equipment: A mask that covers his entire face to disguise his identity while on missions as well as a pair of night-vision goggles and a gas mask. Again, his loadout typically varies, but these are the essentials.Skills: He is a fairly accurate shot, as is necessary to be an agent of the Machination, and is also versed in the use of several of the less-conventional weapons in the Machination's arsenal.Personality: Caleb, despite his young age, is quite serious and quiet. He rarely ever lets anyone get to know him; he's a trained operative of a covert organization that battles giant robots, and he doesn't have time for friends. At least, so he says.Weakness: His coldness sometimes makes it difficult for others to cooperate with him.Bio: Caleb grew up in a military family with a father who went to war and a mother who kept her job a secret. As he grew older, he began to notice that various things were amiss. The truck in his parents' garage would start up at night and drive away seemingly on its own. His mother would come home very, very late on some days. Every now and then, he would notice the strange items she worked on in the basement. Finally, when he got out of high school, she showed him what she did for a living. She worked for the Machination.

Caleb was instantly fascinated and joined on the spot. He went through a rigorous training program, during which he met and befriended Leland Dante, the younger brother of the Machination's leader, Abraham Dante. Leland had always hated his older brother, and, with the help of Caleb and a select group of others, he overthrew Abraham and the organization's true leader, the disembodied head of Skorponok, just in time for the whole world to get transported to an alternate universe. While the rest of society fell to pieces at the hands of the Minions of Unicron, Leland held the secret organization together and fended off the few Minions that found their headquarters with Caleb at the head of the organization's army of elite troops.

Now, the Machination is currently researching and reverse-engineering technology recovered from any and all Cybertronians they can bring down. With so many weapons from so many different universes in their possession, the implications can only be sinister.

Axilus:

Name: Optimus PrimeGender: MaleFaction: Children of PrimusHome Universe: MovieAppearance: Normal With E.R.W.S. (see below)Alternate Mode: Normal With Trailer (see below)Weapons: A variety of weapons. Only four can be stored within his body at one time, and each individual part of a set of two counts as one, rather than the pair counting as one.-Energon Sword: A swords, heated by Energon surrounding it and burning. It is immune to its own heat and does not soften or melt because of this. Other objects, however, are not. It does not burn while not activated. -Energon Axe: The above, but there is only one, and it's an axe. Pic of Optimus with his sword and this axe.-A Triple Barrel Ion Rifle: A gun that uses Ion energy to propel bullets forward with great speed and force, thus leaving explosive, ballistic, and shrapnel damage. Has three barrels, slower rate of fire, and must be held two-handed when firing. It can be held with one hand when not firing though, just not pointed straight. Pic of Optimus with this gun and a sword.-Combat Shield: A medium sized shield made of dense metal. Can withstand standard fire and melee, but not heavy weapons. Pic of Optimus with a sword and the Combat Shield.-Blade Knuckles: A set of bladed brass knuckles that protrude from between the wrist and armor plate bearing the flame pattern on his forearm. They extend forward, then move down in front of his knuckles to deal a highly painful and potentially injuring punch. Pic of the Blade Knuckles.-Trailer: In truck mode, he can haul around a trailer, which cannot go into subspace, ever. Only he can transform it into either of its two other modes:It can transform into an Armored Weapons Platform. This platform stores all weapons not stored inside his body, and when deployed on the battlefield can allow for more versatility. Pic of Optimus getting his Combat Shield from the Armored Weapons Platform. He usually transforms it back into a trailer after getting weapons, in order to prevent theft and/or damage. In addition, it can transform into the Emergency Response Weapons System, a jetpack with two gauntlets. These gauntlets protect his forearms slightly and have highly powerful, heavy-round machine guns. The jetpack is self-explanatory. Pic of Optimus using the E.R.W.S.Unfortunately, while using the ERWS, he expends a great amount of energy, and so he must use it sparingly.Personality: Optimus Prime is a mostly calm being, spending most of his spare time thinking, observing, or speaking to friends and comrades in a relaxing manner. He believes that beings have a right to their own government and way of life, as long as this does not go against the rights of other beings. He puts all fear aside when he must defend the innocent, or the ideals he believes in, and will charge into battle whenever he is needed. He will not, however, attack without cause or for small matters, and only fights as a last resort. Thankfully for all those he is protecting, it still counts in his mind as a last resort to attack those he knows already to be evil oppressors of freedom and the innocent on the spot, so long as the first time they fought was a last resort. He is slow to anger, especially with those he has already met, and easily forgives small things. Only in the case of the most horrible and evil beings is he unforgiving. When he is angry, however, he is relentless, fighting even when his own limbs are torn off, if it is possible to do so.Freedom is the right of all sentient beings. The governing motto behind all his actions. However, centuries of war and betrayal have made its meaning nowhere near all-encompassing. There are far too many who obstruct freedom through their own will, for the sake of power or malice. Too many to imprison, or too strong to imprison. Decepticon or Minion of Unicron, there is no difference. Evil must be destroyed, and so must those who oppress freedom repeatedly, endlessly, constantly, and irrevocably.Optimus does not enjoy killing, but he has no hesitance to kill a known enemy.Skills/Special Abilities: He is very physically strong, but not invincible. Many beings can overpower him in this regard, but not most. He has average accuracy with his weapons, and quick reflexes. (Not quick speed, though, and so that is a bit limited) His armor is mainly protective against gunfire, so heavy weapons and melee weapons will do more damage to him. Point blank shots also deal more damage, naturally. His Energon consumption, like all Movie Transformers, is very efficient, and as such he can live millenia without a single extra dose. He has, in fact, been forced to do so. This does not mean he has infinite energy in battle. Due to failsafes in his body, he can be exhausted just like anyone else in the entire game.He carries within him the Matrix of Leadership, which holds the (inaccessible, even to him) knowledge contained within the Allspark. What he can use it for is to resurrect dead Transformers, however, many conditions must be satisfied for this to work.1. The Transformer in question must have all vital parts intact, with the exception of one.2. The body must be fully assembled, and if it has been disassembled, putting it back together does not count.3. There must be some Energon left inside the body.4. If a Spark Extractor or Cortical Psychic Patch killed the Transformer, they cannot be resurrected, because their metaphorical "spirit" was entirely destroyed.5. If they came into contact with Dark Energon, they cannot be resurrected.6. If they were killed by Unicron or any of his minions who were specially gifted or given Dark Energon, they cannot be resurrected.Weakness: He tends to charge into battle with a very simple plan, or without one at all. He will always take on the enemy he perceives to be the biggest threat (He'd attack a guy 50 times bigger), unless victory is impossible under the circumstances. (Unicron at full strength while he has no power-boosting items of enough significance) His anger can also cause him to pursue fleeing enemies, which tends to result in them striking back against him with rather high force. The fact that he kills enemies frequently causes many not of his universe to dislike him, resulting in less backup than normally provided to a Child of Primus. His speed is below average, resulting in him having trouble chasing or escaping others, and in dodging very fast attacks. Due to his use of projectile weapons, he can run out of ammo.Bio: Strict Movie continuity, right up to the end of Dark of the Moon. After these events, Optimus had his arm re-attached by Ratchet. He and the rest of the Autobots rebuilt or replaced all his lost, damaged, or destroyed weaponry, including his trailer. At that point, Primus opened a portal, instructing him to follow and leave the other Autobots behind to help the humans rebuild. He did so, finding himself in the middle of a Children of Primus encampment. After a brief sequence of confusion, they explained the situation to him. He joined them, and is usually seen leading a squad of Children of Primus on the battlefield, strategizing, or attempting to discover the whole truth about the situation, and Unicron's whole plan. The Children of Primus normally have him lead soldiers who are more prone to killing, both because they fit better together, and because he, with his clear moral beliefs, however eccentric, can keep even more "abnormal" troops in line.

Kaithas:

Name: Jadestone

Gender: MaleFaction: Children of PrimusHome Universe: G1/WingsAppearance: Jadestone is tall, even for a cybertronian. His eyes glow sapphire blue out of a face not unlike Optimus Prime's in the movies. The biggest thing that sets him apart is his translucent armor, which makes him look like he's coated in emerald. His shoulder's, however, are gold, his set of "wings" (they don't allow him to fly, but they act as a solar panel) black.Alternate mode: Cybertronian tank.Weapons: Two wrist mounted cannons that take in the light hitting his body and focus it into a powerful laser. Also has a sword, though he doesn't use it much.Personality: Jadestone is not serious, to say the least. While this gives him the appearance of not caring, he truly cares quite a bit, and he deals with strong emotions by joking. He trusts easy but doesn't forgive for a while. (I apologize for short personality blank, I really dislike doing them in profiles. I usually end up editing.)Skills/Special abilities: A very good sharpshooter, as well as being able to absorb visible light attacks coming at him. Has a fast alternate form.Weakness: Jadestone's main weapons are useless in the dark and cold, while good with his sword he isn't exceptional.Bio: Jadestone had a rather interesting life. Somehow there was a mixup, and he, an Autobot, got a military form. This proved itself useful for blowing up stuff that was in the way of construction, and he kept it. During the battle on the ship heading toward Earth Jadestone was knocked off, missing the event that lead to the Transformers getting Earth forms. After waking up and wandering for millennia he was sucked into the main dimension by Unicron in his quest for energy, barely escaping and joining Primus.

Important Story Events

In most RPGs, the story goes on for so long that it gets convoluted and no one can keep track of it all. Alternatively, it can also result in the setting shown in the main post changing. This is to keep people from getting lost, so new players can join at any time, and old players never lose track of things. I will be updating this as the story goes on. So, here it is.

---

-A group of Children of Primus have landed on Gigantion, setting up a defensive perimeter to stop an imminent attack by the Minions of Unicron. The Paxitrons have decided to work with the CoP to defend their home, but not join their ranks. Meanwhile, the Decepticons of an alternate universe, who seem to be a group rebelling against their corrupt government rather than being horrifying and evil beings, hover in their ship above the planet, observing and gathering intel. TransTech agents stand by around the area, observing the situation.

-Battle has broken out, placing the Decepticons in a difficult position. The fight on the ground seems to be even so far, but in orbit, the Minions are winning against the smaller battlecruiser Prima and the heavily damaged Decepticon ship.

-The Decepticon ship managed to fend off boarders, which did not deter the captain of the Slaughter, the Minions' attacking vessel. Megatron, an admiral in the Minion fleet, called off the assault, knowing it was a waste of troops to continue to attack the Primax Decepticons.

-Cybertron -1 came under attack by Child forces intending to take the planet before the Minions could gain a true foothold. A Minion recruiter made a display of the fact that they can forcibly corrupt Children of Primus through the use of specialized weaponry, but failed to actually do so. After a prolonged battle, the Minions and Shattered Glass Autobots forced the Children to retreat.

-The attack on Gigantion turned out to be merely a ruse to lure Optimus Prime onto the Slaughter, a fact which the majority of deployed Minions were unaware of due to the highly classified status of Megatron's plan. The Minions attacking the planet have since retreated, leaving the Children to deal with their wounded and dead on all fronts.

IC: The two energon swords clashed again, drawing an uproar from the cheering crowd. The two warriors charged at each other again, but one, an Autobot by the symbol on his chest, was struck a glancing blow to the shoulder. A pained shout escaped his throat, but was cut short as the other fighter's blade was driven straight through his head. The crowd cheered as the lifeless metal husk slumped over and fell to the ground. As the victor was escorted out of the arena by a pair of guards bearing wickedly sharp weapons and armor, a long, segmented arm that ended in a four-pronged claw snaked its way down from the ceiling. It grasped the fallen Autobot almost delicately and hoisted him above and out of sight. Even as the crowd began to shift, some getting up and leaving while others took their place, two new combatants were forced into the arena.Unicron would not go hungry tonight.Metroplex stared off into the blue skies of Gigantion. As he scanned the vast expanse of atmosphere that lay above, before, and all around him, past the planet's rings, and across the city's skyline, he couldn't help but feel a sense of impending dread. Today had been peaceful, almost too much so; usually, there was at least a scout ship from the Minions of Unicron drifting around up there somewhere, and even when there wasn't, Primus would send some of his "Children" to ask if anyone had changed their mind about peace and wanted to, oh, they didn't know, go fight a never-ending war against an enemy the size of a planet and most likely die at the hands of some psychopath like Reptilion or that Ramjet fellow. Metroplex had a run-in with Ramjet in the past, and it was an experience he wished he could simply delete from his memory banks. The flyer's reality-altering powers had nearly wiped out an entire city block. A city block designed for robots who were already the size of skyscrapers. Finally, his optics settled on the tower in the center of the city. It was huge even when compared to some of Gigantion's tallest inhabitants. Thus, it made the perfect place for the humans and smaller bots alike to settle. Each floor was almost the size of a city to them, so there was little chance of overcrowding. And then, he received a transmission from Quickmix. Their detection systems had picked up an incoming ship, one bearing the symbols of the Children of Primus. His chest plates heaved as his air filtration system let out a sigh. Today was going to be a long day.

IC (Starscream)

Starscream shifted in his command seat, taking in the sight before him. Everywhere about his bridge, control panels blinked red, blue energon flowed from the bodies of the fallen and the screams of the wounded filled the air. It had been a tough battle, one that they should not have had to fight. He had failed his men, he knew that much. He had taken the bait and fallen into a loyalist trap. Starscream looked out at the rubble and burnt out husks that surrounded his stricken vessel...at the very least, he had managed to make the enemy pay in energon and drive fluid for their victory...and it had been a victory for them. There was no mistaking that. His raiding force was all but finished. He was trapped in an unfamiliar system and if those sensor readings were correct, he wasn't anywhere near the place he needed to be. He pressed a small button built into the arm of his chair. A bright purple hologram flickered awkwardly to life in front of him. He did not like what he saw.

Roughly thirty crewmen left that were in any condition to fight. Most of the ship was floating dead in space and only a few point defense turrets were anywhere near operational. The only saving grace was the space bridge, it, at least, still functioned. Starscream sighed. He would do better this time. He had no choice. What was left of his crew was counting on him. According to the readout before him, Shockwave's laboratory was still functioning so it was unlikely that any of the walking wounded would fade, not with the watchful eye of the emotionless scientist watching over them. He wouldn't allow it. Most of his crew were simple soldiers....but many of his more talented underlings had survived the battle.

All was not lost. Not yet.

"Systems: functional."

A synthesized monotone spoke from behind Starscream, eerily similar to his own voice. Which, in fact, it was. Merely one of many soundbytes the speaker had accumulated over the years, to ease his own communication.

There was a quiet scraping as the Decepticon's tactical officer picked himself up from the ground, optics taking in the scene on the bridge. "Crew: sixty percent casualties. Twenty five percent wounded, fifteen percent critically. Five percent in operational condition.""Orders?"

Starscream give his tactical officer a quick once over. "Our long range scanners have picked up many oddities within this system. Three planets made entirely of metal. Two off which are giving of energy readings that we have not seen since Cybertron." Starscream pulled himself to his feet and clasp his hands behind his back. "The other planets in this system also harbor concentrations of power that could only come from advanced civilizations. However, they all...vary in some way. One Cybertron-esque planet appears to be powered by Dark Energon....or something very much like it. Other worlds appear to be powered by an unorthodox mixture of fossil fuels, nuclear powers and Energon....and yet, we have picked up no transmissions heading out of the system. Tactical analysis?"

The reply, when it came, was not in the voice of any particular crewmember. But at the same time, it was not his own voice. Depending on whom you asked, there were doubts that Soundwave had ever possessed his own voice. But Starscream new better.

"Simplest solution is the most likely. Our ship did not arrive through any normal means. Energy spike detected by ship's systems before shift. Energy surge knocked much of the remaining crew unconscious, overloaded sensors. Drastic shift in spacial coordinates. Theory: we are no longer anywhere we have known. I would postulate that we are not even in the same universe."

OOC: Allow me to clarify: I Ok'd a mech that resembled a Veritech, not an actual Veritech. Again, this is a Transformers RPG, meaning that characters must originate from universes mentioned in Transformers fiction. Perhaps the mech was built by humans from reverse-engineered Cybertronian tech?

Besides that, you didn't specify a faction and the bio is a little sparse.

Starscream turned to one of the few Decepticon soldiers left standing. "Activate whatever weapons you can. Transfer power from all nonessential systems." He paused, weighing his options. "Transfer fifty percent of remaining power to the space bridge. Initiate emergency preparations." It never hurt to be prepared. If this turned out to be a threat they could not fight, then they would simply run.

IC - Optimus Prime - Ship approaching Gigantion

"Gigantion. The world of gentle giants. Exactly what we were all meant to be...though now, we could not afford to in the presence of the enemy." Optimus Prime, on board the protective ship approaching the massive metal planet, thought to himself, reflecting on his motivations and his memories.

You are needed, Optimus Prime. Seek my Children, and you will find the answers.

The voice of Primus was unimaginable to anyone who had not heard it already. It radiated everything Optimus had ever held dear. And just recently it had spoken to him those words, words that echoed on in his mind. He had found the Children of Primus already. He knew the situation. What he did not know for sure was how to handle it.

His footsteps gently but loudly struck the floor of the ship's bridge as he paced back and forth. Already he could make out one of the natives among the gigantic buildings. The skyscraper-sized Paxitron was far from hard to spot. He looked behind him, observing some of the crew. Clearly this had been done before. They did everything as if by habit. A Child of Primus pulled a lever, and blue Energon flowed visibly through a few pipes from his control panel to the wall.

The ship was landing.

IC:Metroplex crossed his arms as the ship descended. If the Children were here on another recruiting mission...well, needless to say, he wouldn't be happy. When the ship landed at his feet, he knelt down and his massive optics peered into the cockpit.Sideswipe, the ship's pilot, entered a few commands into a console, and a ramp descended from the front of the ship. Immediately, a squad of armed soldiers dashed, rolled, and leaped out while a voice echoed through their comms:"Set up a perimeter around the city and await further orders."As the troops fanned out, Metroplex knit his optic ridges in anger."What is the meaning of this?" he boomed.IC: ShellshockAnother dry laugh."If I tell you anything else, he'll kill me. But you've been warned."In that moment, he transformed and sped away.An alert went off on the ship's console. Something was on its way, and fast.

"Object approaching at high speeds. Vehicular configuration likely. Likely Cybertronian in origin." Soundwave intoned, reaching out to the ship's remaining sensors, and slaving them to his own controls. Instantly, the field of sensory input widened, reaching out kilometers into space.

"Contact confirmed."

IC: Gigantion, Near Landing Area

Not far from the Children's landing craft, an unnoticed pair of optics watched intently.

A dark form stood hidden in the shadows of massive buildings, unseen by the planet's massive inhabitants. The smaller beings kept away from this area, seeking to avoid contact with both of the warring factions that often landed there. Shadowstrike had no such problems.

She bore no faction insignia, nor did she possess an IFF transponder. She was nameless, unidentifiable. No one knew of her presence, and if she did her job right, no one ever would. As the soldier spilled out of the craft, a single pair of violet optics narrowed.

IC (Starscream)

"I am in no mood to take chances this cycle. Activate the space bridge. Initiate emergency thrust protocol. Target coordinates...." Starscream keyed another button on his chair and a purple-tinted representation of the system as their sensors knew it appeared before him. "....Planet 1010*." In the absence of an actual name, the arbitrary designation the computer had assigned it would have to do. The few crewmen left manning their stations sprang into action. The ship shuddered as damage systems struggled with the demands imposed on them, a few control panels blinked out entirely, the lights flickered and many died. Then a green beam shot out from the front of the vessel and tore a hole in the fabric of space and time. A swirling green vortex. A space bridge.

The ship moved slowly at first, but it was gaining speed fast as the undamaged thrusters were fed more and more power.

OOC: (Insert rambling about unimportant stuff here)

Anyway, this looks interesting and I'd like to join so yeah

Name: BlastcraftGender: MaleFaction: None, at the moment.Home Universe: Shattered GlassAppearance: Armored in white and gold with a sky blue and purple frame, Blastcraft isn't designed for stealth. While he is a sort of 'hybrid' warrior, his design lends itself to other things. The white&gold armor is situated in such a way that it seems as if he's wearing heavy boots, gauntlets, and a vest. His upper limbs aren't heavily armored, with just a thin plate of blue or purple to cover the wires. Extending from his back are two winglets, both with a cannon/thruster on the end. Each thruster is around the size of his head, but extends further back. His head has three winglets on top, each a sky blue. His optics are covered with a golden visor. Where his 'mouth' would be is covered by an 'oxygen mask' of sorts, with tubes running along his 'cheeks' back into his head. A Decepticon symbol is emblazened on the left side of the white armor of his torso, standing out among the lighter armor. His boots have turbines implemented into them, allowing for more powerful jumps. Lastly, coiled up on his back, protected by a piece of armor, is an inflatable tube. His head comes up to the average Transformer's shoulders.Alternate Mode: Blastcraft transforms into a hovercraft, as is evident by the turbines and tube. When in vehicle form, the tube from his back is inflated and forms a ring around the body of the craft. The top of it is mainly white and gold, as his less protected limb sections are drawn into the body and hidden below the tube. The winglets remain at the back of the craft, thrusters still being able to be used as cannons. The turbines from his boots are now more visible, being in the middle of Blastcraft and being the force that actually makes him hover.Weapons: The dual cannon/thrusters, along with a scythe that he stores in a Subspace storage pocket, accessable from his gauntlets.Personality: In a word, sarcastic. It can be tough to like him, simply because any advise, comments, questions, or anything really that comes from him is laced with sarcasm. Genuine words are a rarity coming from him. Beneath that is a battle-hardened individual that fought so others didn't have to. He's got quite a pessemistic attitude on life, as nothing's gone right for him since day 1. He doesn't want to die, but also feels he's got nothing to work towards. Blastcraft is somewhat of a loner at times, prefering to choose when he's around others or when he's not.Skills/Special Abilities: At a skill level that's above average with his scythe, and could hit the doorbell of a building across the street with the cannons. He's almost absurdly good at jumping, both vertical and horizonally, due to his thrusters and turbines. Better than the average foot soldier, but no-where near the level of special ops in combat. He's best in open spaces, with room to jump and swing his scythe. 0-gravity isn't his worst battlefield, due to the thrusters, but not his preferred combat zone.

Weakness: His upper arms and legs are lightly armored, a few good hits there would cripple the limb. The turbines and thrusters are also fragile areas, with hits there disabling his jumping abilities. Blastcraft has tendency to give up a bit sooner than most would at the moment, as he's not fighting for a cause. This alone makes him much less dangerous than he was in his original universe, because there he had reason to fight.Bio: Originally Blastcraft was just another construction bot on Cybertron, until the Autobots attacked the nearby Energon Mine for resources. After seeing the amount of destruction they left behind, he decided to join the Decepticon army to help fight them, and let others continue their work. Blastcraft was modified to his current form in a project to create warriors that would be able to do more than one type of combat, in his case bombardment and redirecting. (Using his scythe to pull opponents away from their attack so Craft's ally could get a hit in, or kicking them into an ally's attack. His turbines&thrusters helped him get to places where instances where he would be of use.) He served with the army for sometime, doing his job well enough. He happened to be stationed on Cybertron (-1) at one of the Decepticon's few bases still on the planet when the world was pulled into Unicron's pocket dimension. Eventually, the situation was figured out and the squad he was stuck with called for a retrevial from the Children of Primus, which was granted. Just as he was stepping onto the ship, being the last in line, some of the Shattered Glass Autobots that were still on the planet decided to attack. Lucky him, he managed to fall and the pilot of the hip decided it was too dangerous to go back for him. What a surprise, in Blast's opinion. He's now wandering the surface of Cybretron -1, raiding abandoned homes for Energon to keep him alive. Quite a boring existance, except when he runs across another of them SGlass Autobots.

Also: Burning Justice.

So yeah. Sorry if this is the wrong topic for ToBeApproved profiles, the title post isn't all that clear. :)

IC - Optimus Prime - Gigantion

After a large group of soldiers went to their positions, a large (by usual standards) truck, clearly of Earth design, emerged from the ship and drove down the ramp. Metroplex likely would have noticed. It stopped about 50 feet from the titanic Paxitron leader, and some steam whizzed out of it.

Visibly, panels opened, gears whirred, and pistons chugged. The truck began to separate, its parts scattered yet organized, as it flipped parts of it over and finally stood upright. More steam whizzed as its wheels spun and slowed to a halt, and its remaining panels closed down onto their new positions.

This had to be the one they told him about.

"My apologies, Metroplex, but we have received intel that suggests, if not outright confirms, an imminent attack by the Minions of Unicron. You are free to not join our ranks, as you have so strongly insisted, but we cannot allow your people to die. You have no part in this conflict, and by definition are innocent. But I would surmise that the Minions believe that makes you an easier target."

Optimus looked around, seeing organized Children of Primus preparing, setting up portable defenses and lines.

"Unless you intend to fight, which does not seem to be your wish, I would suggest that you take cover or fall back somewhere. We are here to defend this place and all who inhabit it, but it will not work if you deliver yourselves to the Minions of Unicron."

The stricken vessel entered the spacebridge, one could hear it's systems protest and overload even as they pushed the near-dead vessel forwards and then in a flash, the vessel emerged in orbit above the planet. Starscream took in the sight below him, he could make out a few lights on the surface. The planet played host to an advanced civilization then. He keyed yet another set of buttons on his command chair, bringing up a hologram of the planet below. "Conduct scans of the planet. I want to know the location of every city, fleet and army. I rather suspect this vessel will not remain stable. Best to be prepared for a crash landing."

Metroplex narrowed his optics, then stood back to his full height.

"I will trust you on this one, Prime," he said after careful thought, "but if you think we Paxitrons are going to stand by and watch, you've got another thing coming."

He lifted a hand that was larger than Optimus himself to the side of his head.

"Quickmix. I need you to get the city's defenses online and bring all of the humans and anyone else who isn't combat-capable to the planet's next-lowest level."

"Roger that," came the response only moments before alarms began blaring throughout the city. Across the area, both humans and Cybertronians dropped what they were doing and started heading to the giant tower in the center of the city.

Metroplex pulled his giant axe, Sparkdrinker, from his back and clutched it defensively.

"We've dealt with the Minions before," he said, "and we can deal with them again."

IC - Optimus Prime - Gigantion

For the moment, Optimus knew the sense of awe the humans of his universe seemed to feel in his presence. This was what it felt like to be ordinary, to be small among titans. He always had sympathy for those who felt that way, but he had never felt it himself. Even Primus, for all his glory, did not bring the same feeling. Rather, he brought a much greater version of it, but here and now, Optimus felt exactly how the humans did.

And then he felt how the former members of NEST did. It was nearly time to fight. If the Paxitrons feel this way, why do they not ally with the Children of Primus? Optimus decided not to ask, and leave Metroplex to his own way of life, to his own decisions.

"I appreciate it nonetheless, Metroplex. Any help we can get in fighting off any Minion attack is welcome. You remind me of the valiant humans I encountered in my own universe, in more ways than one." He drew no weapons, not sure what the Minions' manner of attack would be, but he was certainly ready to.

For a pacifist, that axe seems rather large.

Definitely from Tyran. The aesthetics are unmistakable. Probably from one of the Tyran Delta streams, his bearing suggests experiences along those lines. A savage leader, by all counts. Contemporary analysis suggests some inherent flaws in his character. Make note of that.

The big one is from the Aurex cluster, no other possibilities. Metroplex, commonly mistaken for a pacifist. They're half right. Pacifistic tendencies, but he has no problem defending his home if necessary.

Shadowstrike moved amongst the Children and Paxitrons alike, violet optics taking in every possible detail, and cataloguing it for later use. Her lack of an IFF signal made the Children assume she was a Paxitron, and the Paxitrons, not recognizing her, assume her a member of the Children. As long as neither one talked to the other, they were none the wiser.

IC: Blastcraft (Cybertron -1, Ruins)

A white-and-gold armored foot kicked at the pebble, as the owner watched it fly off into the side of a building. Moreso the only standing wall of said building, but that was irrelevant.

Blastcraft sighed, hand on his chin. This was but one of many cities scattered across his home planet that was now not much more than rubble and a wall or three. Only reason he was here was to see if there was an abandoned squad here that he could join, or pick up some Energon.

The Decepticon leaned over, picking up another pebble and throwing it at an exposed beam. Upon contact, it shuttered and a section fell off.

"Headshot."

Great, now he was going crazy. Talking to himself... again...

Eh, there was no reason to sit around any longer. Getting up, Blastcraft began a relaxed walk towards another part of the city. The only difference between here and there was perhaps some Energon, but that was better than nothing.

Primus, he hated being alone sometimes.

After the last of the troops had left the ship, the hulking vehicle shuddered to life once more. Its thrusters set it upward slowly at first, but once it gained enough altitude, it shot into the stratosphere. Sideswipe stepped back from the helm. The ship could handle things from here. He turned to face the rest of the crew on the bridge.

"Alright," he called, "get those sensor arrays online and run an orbital sweep. We need to see the Minions coming before--"

An alert pinged on the radar almost immediately.

"Sir," one of the crewmen spoke up, "we've detected a ship in orbit. We're reading energy signatures from it that are consistent with Dark Energon."

Slag, that was fast, Sideswipe muttered under his breath.

"Hail it. Once we're sure it's the minions, you're free to engage."

Once more, a transmission interrupted the exchange between Starscream and Soundwave.

"This is Captain Sideswipe of the Prima. Identify yourselves."

IC (Starscream)

"Excellent. Patch me through to Shockwave." Starscream allowed a grin to form beneath his faceplate. Now they were making progress. They would need intelligence to survive for long here....and what better way to get it then from the computers of the natives? They would do them no harm of course, it wouldn't do to make enemies so early on. But they needed that information and they couldn't risk contacting them. Suddenly, a small hologram appeared before Starscream. Shockwave, the resident scientist and near-sociopath stood before Starscream.

"You wished to speak?"

"Yes. What would you say to me if I told you to hack into a system we've never encountered before?"

"It would be interesting experiment." Shockwave swept his gaze over the room, taking in the damage. "Repairs are not forthcoming?"

"No. You do have a task however." Starscream motioned to one of the crewmen. "The data you will need is being sent you. Commence your experiment."

"Processing. Vector confirmed. Commencing. Error. They have detected us. Orders?"

Starscream paused and considered this information. "Put them through."

"As you wish." Shockwave's hologram flickered and faded...and was replaced by a generic 'unknown' symbol which repeated the message that had been sent to Shockwave. Starscream rubbed his chin thoughtfully. They hadn't opened fire right away, that was always a positive sign. Could he risk it? He was without allies...without support...but then again, they had no way of knowing that.

"This is commander Starscream of the Decepticon Alliance, aboard the Defiance-Class Strike Cruiser 'Hunter'. Might I ask you return the favor?"

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.
