The nostalgia I felt while just reading the intro you've posted is something I haven't felt around Bionicle in too long. The tale you seem to be weaving has a sense of those who were in the beginning of Bionicle that were struggling to fit in, and found that ability through something as simple as a story to go with a new toy. The way you compared the first scenes of that first comic to your young hero's life is something that I would never have imagined. The imagery fits so well with the scenes I remember from my own life of the hard, yet formative year of 2001. There was something that was gained through the then unmentioned virtues of the Matoran. The Unity that the Matoran showed in the face of the adversity of the Makuta's Rahi, and their willingness to do their Duty, ultimately to fulfill their destiny, is very reminiscent of the events of that year's second half. Thank you so much for just this small portion. I don't come by the Epics forum that often anymore, but this made me very grateful to visit this evening. Your writing is leaving me thirsting for more of this nostalgic trip down memory lane.
