If I hurt your feelings or seem too hars, I apologize.First off, the humor seems a little too random and the characters are very steryotypical. There's the evil villan who tries taking over the comics, the dumb assistant to that evil villan, the in-general dumb person... Kinda steryotypical and not much depth to your characters (I can't talk much on that subject, though). I would also suggest making speech bubbles or glowy text in GIMP or a program like that, but it isn't nessecary. Just make sure text is always readable (I only saw that problem once, though, so you're doing a good job on that). Otherwise the comics are fine, just work on the characters a bit and make the humor less random. Don't rely on random humor too much, since it dosn't always work. InnerRayg Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 The OS has almost nothing to do with the loading time. .bmps are uncompressed files, they're just naturally larger. It's a matter of courtesy to save your comics using a file format that will not put a strain on internet connections of others. As for the comics...they suffer from the usual defects these types of comics do, in that you're using very tiny sprites with a lot of blank space. There's little to no context to give a sense of location to these events - it's just white blank space after white blank space. I didn't read the whole series, but of the few I randomly sampled it didn't seem like you were trying for a comic that tells a story as much as you were going for random gags - which is fine, but the funniest comics tend to be more about how characters with established personalities react to events, not just things spontaneously happening. I'd say working with bigger sprites would help - or just zooming in the ones you have so the characters are actually distinguishable from one another.
