Indigogeek
I don't know if this would be considered an easter egg, but I just noticed this for the first time in what must be hundreds of times playing MNOG. During the Infected Lewa vs. Onua cutscene, right when Lewa gets control over himself once again, he uses his Komau to mind control the rama. What I noticed is that as he did it, the background was blue, and had a rapid transition between the matoran symbols for the numbers 1 and 0. I'm wondering if this means either templar and lego meant that the komau almost "hacks" the target's mind, as this is similar to binary. I just found this interesting . Thoughts? Sir Kohran
Easter eggs are hidden items or messages, often with some real world significance. I don't see how a brief and obvious visual effect could count as one. I think the wall of numbers was just the best representation of mind control the makers could think of. Any mental process would be difficult to portray in simple Flash animation.
Hitoshura
I think it just "portrays" the Nui-Kopen's mind, like all confused and stuff as the Komau's power is taking effect. Quote profiles

Friend of Fire
it was known by the story team that the motaran were all just robots that are supposed to be working to keep mata nui alive. templar could have known about this and went with it. Underscore
I don't think this means anyting (I don't think this is an intentional easter egg, by lego), but it's still interesting.
Kopekemaster
Not exactly an easter egg, but seeing that the Matoran language was essentially a programming language (I think.....), it's possible. archivist_66
That's quite interesting, but I think this is nothing special in these "1" and "0" numbers. Quote "You are a Toa -- prove yourself worthy of the name!" Onua, "Into the Nest"
TheSkeletonMan939
I noticed that the first time I saw it. It's supposed to tell you that mind control is going on.
P~M
What would make it an Easter egg is if those 1's and 0's actually said something in binary. Which, knowing Templar, they probably do.
Kopekemaster
Oooh. Now I have to decode it! Quote My Writing Blog (more writing coming soon!) My Bionicle/LEGO Blog (defunct) Hyfudiar on Spotify (noise/drone/experimental music)

Which, knowing Templar, they probably do.That would be cool. I can read binary numbers, but know nothing about binary letters. (thats funny, a code within a code!) Dual Cee
I happen to rad perfect binary, can someone provide me an image of that scene? Quote I'm back!
Indigogeek
of course, there were many different frames, but I got one, you can look at the rest of the 0's and 1's in the cutscene (which can be found on Youtube) Heres the pic I got: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Takua123/Bionicle/mnog.png

Indigogeek
well, this is only one frame of the scene in which this happens, it might be hard to decode, but maybe the flashings between the frames spells out something? (lets says theres 10 frames, maybe the 0's and 1's in one relative spot say something.
Hitoshura
I don't the binary code has a meaning. It could, but I don't think that it was originally intended for a message. Just to show the mind-controlling going on. Quote profiles
Indigogeek
Yea, Half the letters are covered by Lewa's face. I doubt there's a message in there, but it would have been a good idea!

Madara: Mangekyou Master
It's probably not an easter egg, but I do enjoy the 'hacking' idea. That's a cool interpretation. Quote STAR WARS GALAXY AT WAR ... we have cookies
