to keep this list as short as possible I'll exclude cartoons and anime. ongoing and airing now: Hannibal, The Killing ongoing but on break: American Horror Story, Bates Motel, Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, The Following, Sherlock completed/canceled: Arrested Development, Firefly, Frasier, Stargate SG-1, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

The main shows that I watch are Doctor Who, Sherlock, Firefly and The Dresden Files, two of which were, due to someone's incompetence, cancelled. Apart from those, I also occasionally watch Mythbusters.

 

Picking a favourite out of those is difficult, but it would probably be either Sherlock or Firefly.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. It is the best ever.

 

Ben 10, any of the series. except the fourth one. Ultimate Alien is my favorite.

But the fourth is the best one! It has Panty & Stocking references, and Pesky Dust.

the problem is, I have never seen an episode of the fourth. so I stick with Ultimate alien :I

Dude TV is actually so good lately. Hannibal, Bates Motel, Elementary. Breaking Bad is getting worse but is still great. Community is good, so is Game of Thrones and Walking Dead. The Simpsons is actually still hilarious, too.

Ultimate Alien is leaps and bounds better than Omniverse, at least the way I see it:

 

While Omniverse is, admittedly, better than I expected, it has some major problems that weren't present in the earlier shows, becuase of that, it comes at the bottom of the list, which goes like this.

 

1. Alien Force

Ultimate Alien is leaps and bounds better than Omniverse, at least the way I see it:

Although I have absolutely no interest in debating this point (Not at all the place), it is my opinion that UA was awful and AF was merely passable. Omniverse is infinities better than either, by virtue of having art that is not yawn worthy. Also. PSG references, and Eye Guy.

high fives dude, you've got ace taste in television

 

anyway been watching The Following and it's pretty good

 

characters are a bit cliche at times but the story is good enough that it makes you want to follow along (no pun intended) and see what happens

 

not an instant favorite but if it keeps getting better like it has been, it may makes its way onto my list

Doctor Who, Castle, Star Trek (any and all incarnations, though DS9 and Voyager are my favourites), and Firefly. That's most of what I've been watching recently, anyway... the list would be much longer if I included everything I've seen and enjoyed.

I definitely don't watch that much television, but from what I've watched, Firefly would have to be my favorite. I also find Stargate SG-1 to be a very entertaining show. The other show I surprisingly enjoyed was the television adaption of The Magnificent Seven. It had a lot of cheesey moments and really isn't one the greatest shows ever made, but the cast was pretty steller. And Sherlock is pretty good, too.

 

I would probably really like Game of Thrones, but I've only seen the first season and without an HBO subscription and no money to buy DVD's, that's probably all I'll get to watch of it.

Cartoons:

 

5. Justice League - A classic, plain and simple

 

4. Megas XLR - A parody of pretty much everything ever, with a brilliantly absurd sense of humor and, of course, giant robots.

 

3. The Emperor's New School - Much like Megas XLR; just laugh-out-loud funny, but in a more Warner Brothers-y way.

 

2. Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! - Engaging, clever, dark, tragic, deep, complex, I could go on like this forever.

 

1. Fillmore! - Great morals, engaging characters, clever plots, cool music, and ultimately just plain fun.

 

Live-action:

 

5. Blackadder - Rowan Atkinson and Stephen Fry? Yes please.

 

4. Christmas at Shoemaker's street - A beautiful, touching and warm christmas classic fondly remembered by norwegians of all ages.

 

3. Castle - The character dynamics is what really makes this show. Nathan Fillion's performance is nothing short of spectacular.

 

2. Poirot - Fantastic acting, faithful to the source material, brilliant set-pieces. David Suchet is the definitive Poirot.

 

1. QI - clever, funny, educational etc. etc. I never get enough of it.

LOST is and will always be the greatest show in the history of humanity and it will alway hold a special place in my heart. That aside, my favourite show that is curatnly on would have to be the walking dead.

Ah yes. Lost was a cracking show. Shame a lot of people didnt think so.

Ninjago. There are two female characters who can hold their own but are still realistic for the show's premise, and mechas and ninjas and do you even understand that i'm starting to write this with two fingers and my arms pinned to my sides because it's so wonderful

 

Also, Sherlock and Doctor Who. QI is my favourite show overall.

For comedy, I enjoy The Simpsons (mostly older seasons) and Saturday Night Live - I also plan to start watching Arrested Development soon.

 

My favorite serious show is Breaking Bad (check my picture and signature), and Walking Dead is good (though the quality of the writing is extremely inconsistent). Breaking Bad is, consistently, the best of the best. I'm also currently watching through Twin Peaks, and I'm a bit behind in Hannibal, though I do like that as well.
