The Smithsonian Magazine has an interesting and lengthy article about LEGO up on its website. While its main focus is how Mindstorms can be used to inspire students to pursue engineering, math, and science (it worked for me), there's a lot of other interesting info in there as well. It talks about their recent successes after being on the brink of bankruptcy and the wide range of toys and tie-ins the company is marketing these days. Go give it a read!View the full article
