Well "gaurds" aren't exactly members of lawn enforcement, so they won't notice. Guards on the other hand are, so they'll probably feel something hidden in a book.

You're not going to hide enough explosives in the cover of a book, for one. No matter where you go, you're trying to break out of a material strong enough to resist being broken through by its occupants. Your other option is to go through the metal bars. The average book cover, assuming hardcover, is less than half an inch thick, and that's being generous. That's not much explosive.
Next, good luck getting it in a book cover. The only available in game explosives are fruit, which you can't fit down anyway, and powder. And if you fill a book cover with powder, someone's going to notice that the weight and structure is off. Furthermore, a guard isn't going to give an inmate a randomly dropped off book anyway.
Decent idea, but I'd but the drawing board again. These guards aren't stupid.

Gai Daigoji had Brigade-levels of blood and skill.
He promptly died in an escape.
(Yes I know, I'm spoiling Nadesico.)
Also powder smells. So does fruit juice.

Lawn enforcement. You just negated both of our statements there.

You're welcome to try to escape from jail, but I would recommend coming up with a pretty solid plan, because if you get caught, who knows what the Akiri of that village will do?
It can be done, of course, but requires thought, planning, and respect for realism.

Common Sense dictates that:- You are not infinitely superior to NPCsWe start with a sticker-shock; Surprise! While having many superior qualities over a common NPC, you indeed are much closer to its level than you think. The argument to this is Hey, but I have super-powers! Robbing banks are a walk in the park. Very true. But may I point out that in this world the bar is raised, and in fact almost everyone in this realm has super powers as well. You are indeed unique just like everyone one. Cliché, but true. You may be a icegun-wielding, impact-vision savvy Skakdi, but those pair of Toa guards have their own set of cool powers, and probably have just as much experience OR MORE than you do, since its their job to prevent people just like you from breaking and entering. From this point of view, the playing field is actually very even, and in fact you only have a few advantages over the common NPC.
Basically, don't think you can fool an NPC any more easily than you can a PC.

I would actually much rather prefer a lawyer. It's just that Kavala's attempts to get one have been zero and he really wants to speak to the Abettor now that he's revealed to the public.
I'll try the diplomatic solution one more time before giving in to desperate gamble...

@Ora: Hubert's typo was intentional. It's a joke from late last season.

Addressed to everyone; for those of you who have been waiting for me to post, I'm quite sorry. I've been a it busy. School work is slowing for now, so I should be back up to speed shortly.

Here's the issue with that; no guard worth their salt is going to hand over a book without checking it. And if you look at the success rates of prison breaks in Ga-Koro, you'll see that the only successful one required help from the corrupt Arete.
You're not going to get out easy.Yep, a gaurd is totaly going to see some explosives hidden in the cover of a book.
Ga-Koro Marines everywhere just rolled their eyes at your comment, for your information. For Kavala's inquiries I have simply been devoting some time to other characters given the current political spheres of the game. However, Iraira should be answering his request soon, so no need to fret.

Interaction request:
Kavala (played by Toatapio Nuva) is going to need a lawyer for a criminal trial in Ga-Koro. Who has a lawyer that wants interaction? Please PM Toatapio or I. Thanks!

I PMed Hubert about his lawyer characters. Still, anyone can volunteer. If no one wants to represent Kavala, I will make a character to do it myself.
It's gonna be the most interesting trial, with both sides being on the offensive side.
Which brings to my mind a question: Is there some kind of inter-Koro law? Some commonly recognized standard rules and norms? Do the villages have common law (uncodified) or civil law (codified) systems?

Well that is perhaps a bit discouraging..

I don't think he meant it like that, Voxumo. More likely in the way that it doesn't matter how many characters you have in this game.
As for the law, it'll be a bit problematic to RP because we actually don't know the customary law of the island. I can refer to previous court decisions that others never knew about. The only case we have to refer to is the Surina v. Ga-Koro one and maybe some from the previous arc. :/
In real life I'm a law student so naturally this is a subject that interests me, but of course it's not something we often need to think about in this game.

It has not happened. Players are simply talking about him as potentially dead since in game the character has not been around and was "lost" in the battle with Echelon. As for out of game realities Tuck has not been playing probably due to more than a plethora of life reasons. Joske is not dead yet.

Lost how?
If you've paid any attention to the Le-Wahi topic since the downtime, you'll notice that Team Joske fought Echelon's Legacy. The battle was not played out IC, but has actually been referenced through a series of flashbacks from different characters, each memory adding a stroke to the painting of what went down in the cave. Thus far, everyone save Merror and Joske have made it back.
So, no, Joske isn't dead. Or maybe he is, and Tuck just hasn't made a post detailing his death. For the moment, he is Schrödinger's Toa.
