Gnar listened to the bartenders information silently. He couldn't speak Basic but he sure understood it. He noticed when the other man turned away and nodded to the bartender in a silent thanks for his information.

He approached the man who'd translated for him. "The lower levels are dangerous. No offense but you seem a bit roughed up. Having a Wookie on your side down there might be wise. Perhaps we could benefit each other." Gnar said in Wookie his tone lower then when he'd spoken to the bartender before. He may be in the open but it was doubtful anyone else other then the man before him understood his speech.

IC (Djashell and Syaa, Hyperspace post 2): Searching the crates had turned up nothing more than the trackers she'd expected to find. No detonators. No grenades. No hidden assassin droids.

It was, in a way, a relief. She could relax a bit now she knew no-one was going to kill them. Well, not via the crates anyway. There were still any number of ways someone could-No, no, this was exactly what Syaa was talking about. Jumping at shadows. Seeing every glitter as a vibroblade knife. But it was just habit now.Years of every glitter being a vibroblade knife.

She could just shut her brain off, so turned it to other things. This Swoop Gang. With all the spice on board the Grey Lady was an obvious target, which would bring the gang directly to them. Fine enough if all you wanted was to avoid some legwork, but Djashell had no idea what she was up against. If they ambushed her and Syaa she had no idea how they'd fare in a fight, especially as the element of surprise would go to the gang. Djashell needed to know what the members were like, what equipment they tended to use, what tactics they favoured....

Hmm, possibly time to get in touch with a few of her Coruscant contacts...

Syaa sat in the cockpit of the Grey Lady, quite happy just watching the instruments and letting space whizz by in a fluorescent blur. She was growing used to every hum, tick and rumble of the ship, adjusting to them like the depression in a cushion. She'd done much he same in the Fair Fortune when she'd taken permanent boarding on that, true, but this was different...somehow. She lacked the words for it, it didn't exist in engineering terms. It was the difference between sleeping in a bed someone else had made up, and a bed you'd made up yourself.

"Syaa?" Djashell's buzzed over the comm, "Open a channel, I've got a few messages I want to send."

Darth Recusatia grinned again. "We'll be talking an infiltrator craft I'm afraid. I know how proud many of you are of your own personal flying death devices, but they aren't equipped for this task. Unless, of course, some of you managed to procure a cloaking device? In which case, I'd have to ask which lottery you won...."

"Shall this great kingdom, that has survived, whole and entire, the Danish depredations, the Scottish inroads, and the Norman conquest; that has stood the threatened invasion of the Spanish Armada, now fall prostrate before the House of Bourbon? Surely, my Lords, this nation is no longer what it was! Shall a people, that seventeen years ago was the terror of the world, now stoop so low as to tell its ancient inveterate enemy, take all we have, only give us peace? It is impossible! ...My Lords, any state is better than despair. Let us at least make one effort; and if we must fall, let us fall like men!"

IC:

Sarge entered the room with Snipe. The room then suddenly changed to a part of Level 1313 of Corusant. "Alright ladies! You two will work together to take down a Trandoshian Elite! You both have different skills, so make sure to use them together! Remember, these guys carry a nasty LS-150 Heavy ACP Repeater, so watch out and find cover when you need it!

Buildings erected from the ground and boxes and concrete barriers were placed randomly in front of the clone commandos. Right in front of them, 200 yards away, began emerging a Trandoshian Elite. The digital rendering then stopped, and the form of a Trandoshian Elite was complete. He pointed at the clones and then made a gesture that says, "You will die."

"Good luck soldiers! I'll intervene when I see it go rough!"

Veshok turned on his cloak and took up position behind a concrete barrier, and switched to the Anti-Armor Attachment. "You ready man!"

he cocked his weapon and leveled it at the Trandoshian elite. before he could fire, however, the Trandoshian moved. "keep your eyes on him. just make sure he doesn't close in too fast" he said to the Commando near him. he re-sighted his gun on the enemy.

IC:

The Trando began to fire his gun at the Commando who was still up and not in cover. Veshok then fired a round at the trando, making some mild damage to it. Then from their mics they heard, "Eliminate target." "Sarge said to the clones. In Veshok's hud he say the Elite's health stats. He also say red holographic outlines on the Elite, which made tracking the Trando easier.

"Get out of the line of fire man!" Veshok said tho Snipe.

Chask Far'fella paused the holonews report and frowned at the image. At thirty, the Equine Jedi Master was one of the youngest members of the Jedi Council. He trotted around his desk and down a set of steps, hooves clipping against the smooth marble. His deep blue robes, embroidered with a filigree of silver, set him apart from the other Jedi; but this was understandable considering his task of ferreting out any potential Dark-Siders in the Senate, and overseeing the Coruscant Guard. The half-Bothan shook out his curly blonde hair as he descended. The Master surveyed the group of Jedi investigators before him. "As you know, the Glittering Sky casino is owned by Senator Jakooli Reeven of Rodia, a friend of the Jedi. I would bore you with an extended briefing about how unprecedented it is for a lower-level swoop gang to raid an establishment so high up, but frankly, every moment we wait is a moment for them to ferry the money away. I will be gathering additional Jedi to assist you in the task of smoking them out. Be careful, as you all know, the lower levels are dangerous." "May the Force be with you."

OOC: Feel free to bring Ze'Taki to the training room Yttro told her about. The Master was intended to part ways with her with my last IC. I should have made that clearer. XD

IC: (Senrentethe) aboard the Renaissance.

He looked at the wall of his room, the dim lights of the room reflected off his pale bare skin. the shadows on the wall invoked a feeling of despair. Not fear, but despair. Despair at being in this room, this prison. Despair because he was not fighting. Despair at being surround by walls, walls that he loathed. The walls were worthless, unfit to be in his, let alone anyone's, breathing space. He should and would have better than this room. He hated all of it the walls, the floor, the bed, all of it. But in the end it would do for now, because hate was a feeling that he embraced. A feeling that he loved.

He turned away from the wall, walked toward another part of the room and released a ball of Force at the wall as he walked away. He almost grinned as he heard the thump of the metal denting. He stood in a corner of the room and looked at the reflecftion staring back at him. The face that met him was pale and cold, almost human like in length, and practically emotionless. He was strange looking.  Not like he cared. He, he was above others. He was better, he was The Prime One. He was Serentethe. Even the telltale ridges of his race weren't there. It was unusual. It gave him a neigh youthful apprearance, that he took pride in, as no one else looked such a way.

His black eyes flicked once, then he walked toward the bed. There was nothing, even as he sat on what passed for a bed. There was no want to go to sleep, no want to rest. Nothing. His hands gripped the edge of the bed with a crack as he stood up. Solitude didn't offer comfort, and neither did this room. He reached down as he stood up, grabbed his vest from around his waist, pulled it on, then walked toward the door. While he found no comfort in solitude, he - Serentethe - would find it somewhere on the ship.

Life comes, and life goes, flowing like the tide.

Peace ebbs, and peace flows, often fleeting just like time.

Love can last, but only so, there isn't much before you die.

People pass, come to and fro. And eventually revenge too, doe lie.

For in the the end, it's only the vengent who lasts forever.

OOC: Wheels within wheels.

IC(Helor Tuorri, Coruscant Undercity, The Drunk Side of the Moon):

As with most things in the undercity, the bar was not precisely known for its classy staff, location, or clientele. It was chiefly known, instead, for being cheap, discreet, and good at killing brain cells.

As far as the Kobok pirate could tell, the drink in his hand was called a Corellian Screwdriver. Might have been a Sonic Blaster, though. Or both in the same glass. Details were fuzzy, which was quite alright with him. Last planet he'd stopped on to offload pirated wares - a pretty decent haul, all things considered - he'd run into some trouble with the locals. Law hadn't gotten involved until midway through it, but when they did... well, the Republic didn't look kindly on spaceport brawls. Best he could hope was that they hadn't ID'd his ship when he got some sense and high-tailed it out of there. By the way a few of the other fighters - some of them just good, honest folk looking for a diversion on a long afternoon - were tangling with spaceport security, his hopes were high.

On the other hand, he thought he'd recognized a few ships there. Ships belonging to people he didn't want to see ever again. People who would have to take a moment deciding who to bring his head back to if they caught up with him.

As he was very attached to his head, Helor Tuorri was now wearing a heavy cloth wrap, disguising the scars on his face, and the brand across his forehead. No sense getting pinched while taking his very best shot at forgetting the whole thing. He silently drained his drink through a slit in the fabric, and tapped the bar with the empty glass, signaling the barkeep to bring him another Pan-Galactic Gargleblaster. Or maybe it was a Quad Turbolaser.

Details were fuzzy.

IC (Djashell and Syaa, Hyperspace post 3): There were quite a few people on Coruscant Djashell could call upon to pass her a little information. One of the benefits of there being so many people on Coruscant period. Some owed her solids, some were merely lose associates who would be happy to help. Some were duty-bound to help if she was keeping track right, as she wasn't the only Hutt-hired bounty hunter on Coruscant. She believed that Wookie with the name like gargling phlegm was supposed to b around Coruscant, he could probably be brought in for info and muscle. If he hadn't already been. Given how ineffective the Sullustan who had contacted looked, Djashell wouldn't have put it past Xizor to also find someone who might actually get the job done...

"Hey, sweetie, we're coming out of hyperspace," Syaa said. She buckled herself up as the ship started shuddering a bit more violently than usual. It was old, and cheap, and needed a bit more work to stabilise but it would hold. She was even expecting the odd little hiccup-like shunt as the deceleration became complete, and the blinding rush of hyperspace become plain old ordinary starlight, with the big ball of industry that was Coruscant looming just up ahead.

"Should take us a few hours to reach the planet," Syaa said, "Got time for your messages now."

IC: Zane (Renaissance)

Zane loved tinkering. As interesting as the old texts in the Renaissance's library were, sitting around and reading for extended periods of time got monotonous. He enjoyed the distraction and would sometimes just tinker even if nothing needed fixing.

At the moment, though, there was something that needed fixing. During his last trip, he had heard some unusual rattling coming from somewhere in his ship on his way back but had decided to put it off for later. Now, he was peering beneath the underside paneling to see if something had come loose and needed adjusting.

Apparently details wasn't the only fuzzy thing inside The Drunk Side of the Moon that day. If Helor had been looking around, well looking down as well, he would of noticed an odd sight. A small furry alien walked through the doors of the pub and began to waddle towards the bar.

The small Ewok known only by Chubs approached the bar and surveyed the bar-stool wearily. He muttered to himself in his own strange language before he walked over to Helor and began to tap him on the leg rapidly.

"Chub dub wub lub fub?" he said in that husky little Ewok voice that sounded like he'd run five miles a few minutes ago when in fact he'd only traveled about ten steps from the door. FIC: Being an agent for justice in the universe, the Kobok proceeded to smash the Ewok into every available hard surface.

IC(Helor Tuorri, Coruscant Undercity, The Drunk Side of the Moon):

The voice was not particularly nice, nor was it saying anything Tuorri could make out. Moving slowly, he turned to look down at the source of the noise, and stared in confusion for the better part of a minute as the ball of hair pantomimed its request.

Silence did not fall over the bar - there were too many people for that - but the Kobok certainly did not make any sounds as he continued staring, trying to figure it out.

Something clicked.

Sense was made.

Silently, he turned back to the bar and resumed his drinking.

OOC: It took me some time to decide what to write on this one. In the end, I decided that, while politely helping the Ewok up was out of character, so, at this point in the conversation, was roughly tossing him onto a stool.

OOC: apologies, friends. I have been insanely busy over the weekend and throughout this week.

IC: Snipe

Snipe ducked behind cover as blaster bolts were fired over his head. from their direction, he could tell that the Trandosian was to his left, somewhere. taking a breath, he readied his sniper rifle and jumped up, sighting as he went. the trandosian was further right than expected. he righted his aim, but the Trandosian fired off another round. "we have to switch up tactics" he said. the Trandosian was always moving, so they had to take away that advantage. a few bullets to either side would stop him from moving, he figured.

IC: Nentir Draln. Training Room 5.

"turned to the dark side, possibly. I really hope not. it would be better for him to have lost his life than to convert to what torture they would have surely planned for him". the training had begun now, the younglings being instructed how to deflect a bolt. "how fitting" he murmured.

IC: Serentethe (Aboard the Renaissance corridors.)

He walked down the steel corridor, feet padding lightly on the metal floor. There were things he'd passed by that he could have done, but none of them were wprth his time. They were below him. Whatever it was he found didn't need to involve bloodshed but it would be preferable. Serentethe stopped in front of a window that looked out into the black and white speckled abyss of space. His solitude was gone, left behind in his room, yet some how he still felt nothing. Even the sight of metallic surroundings brought no interest, or at least not enough to quallfiy for anything other than a passing glance. The expression on his face turned almost into a near sigh as he resumed walking. His sashes brushed against his legs with a soft clink as he turned down a corner, his head caught in memory. The memories of the Enclave. Though they meant nothing to him now, his thoughts still turned to them periodically.

Serentethe stopped midstep, his foot just above the ground, as something blocked his path, the foot of a droid. An IG-100 battle droid to be specific. The stop was for about a second before Serentethe decided to ignore the thing in his path and resume his walk. He'd seen many droids and in his eyes, this droid was no different from all of the other worthless pieces of metal that had crossed his path. Serentethe paused, his thoughts interrupted, as the droid adressed him."What?" Slowly, the droid repeated itself, pointed in a direction and walked away. He mulled for a second over the bot, considered scrapping the droid for it's insolence, then almost grinned and headed toward the instructed direction. Though he'd wanted to destroy the droid, it had delivered just want he wanted. Something to do.

IC: The Grey Lady was given berth in one of the lower docks in Coruscant. Somewhere not too fancy. Exactly what Djashell had wanted. Easier to smuggle things and didn't make a scene that would draw the gang in too early. She was staying with the ship for now though anyway, just in case. She didn't want to lose the Lady, the spice and Syaa in one fell swoop. She'd told Gnar where to find them, he could come to their dock if he wanted to pool their resources

IC:

"You get to cover and snipe him there. I'll go and take him out, just give me cover fire." Veshok was probably insane in doing this, since that gun can rip his shields and armor to shreds. Plus that bayonet on the LP-150 was deadly.

He made his away from the concrete barrier, and ran on a slant right. He fired a Anti-Armor round at the Trandoshian, which caused some significant damage. The blast of the Anti-Armor shell, caused the Trando to stumble back and re focus on the group of clones.

"Come on rookies! I can do this mission quicker!" Sarge yelled over the comms.

IC: Snipe

"well, try doing it with what I have" he muttered. he jumped up again, sighted, and fired. the Trandosian, distracted by Veshok, was nearly over with. the anti-armor shell had riddles holes in his armor. they were rather small, however, and he hit the armor. the Trandosian seemed to realize that he was there for the first time, and charged. this provided Snipe an opening, as he could now focus without having to allow for running to his right. he sighted, took a breath, focused, and fired. it was a direct hit, near the Trandosian's heart.

IC:

The Trando fell back, and put a hand on his heart area. Blood sprayed out when he got hit, and it's still coming out. Though his armor was strong, the weaponry of a commando is no match for a good strategy in using your surroundings. In this case, it was the Trando who was no match.

Veshok took another shot at the Trando, then fired another. The Trando fell back again, and with the second shot, he fell to the ground. The digital aspect of the Trando dissipated into the air. "Good work rookies! Now let's see you try to go on against 10 Trando mercenaries and slaves," Sarge said over the comm line.

He went to the panel and added 10 Trandoshian mercenaries, and slaves into the battlefield. Totaling to 20 opponents they have to face. Digital renderings of the mercenaries appeared, armed with ACP-150 Reapeters. The digital renderings of the slaves appeared with knives, and ACP Shotguns.

IC (Darth Recusatia)

"Quite. Think of me as insurance." Granted, if all insurance companies had "rapid-fire disposal of enemy combatants" under their standard policy, then most crime syndicates in the galaxy would find themselves out of buisness in an astonishingly short amount of time. As it stood however, insurance companies settled for slowly killing their policy-holders rather then being decent about it and ending it quickly*. "Come along then. The others will meet us in the hanger. If you have any concerns, raise them now. I don't want to hear anyone moaning about having a bad feeling on the way there."

IC (Commander Cody)

Suddenly, the simulation froze, and the image of a clone sporting an olive green uniform appeared in front of the commando unit. "I'm afraid we'll have to cut this short." The clone, his right arm long since replaced by a cybernetic arm, brought his metallic fingers up to his chin. "We have a situation. Report for briefing in five minutes." With that, the holographic image winked out of existence as if it had never been. If the Commando's knew anything at all about the chain of command, they would hurry. Commander Cody, one of the few commanders still active from the start of the war, was not a man to be toyed with.

He walked, one hand raised higher than the other every other step. Apparently, he was heading to the ship hanger. He didn't know why nor did he care. There would be a mission there and that was enough for now. He turned a corner. From his knowledge of the ship he knew he'd be at the hanger soon, it'd just take a few more turns. At the moment he was fairly focused so he wasn't stopping to look, not that he did stop to enjoy the sights often. But, from time to time he would pause before  his action and observe the surroundings. He left the last hallway as he came to stand in front of a large elevator, this was it. The elevator to the hanger. Slowly, his eyes flicked once, the closest thing to a sign of emotion, as he walked into the wide elevator. As the machine went down one thought ouccupied his mind, the mission.

"Well you heard the Commander, get moving!" Sarge said through the comm. He opened the door and he and Zeshok left the room. Veshok changed back to the blaster attachment while he moved to the briefing room.

.......

The same hologram was seen in the other simulation room where Stalker and Werda where. The droid dissipated into air, and Stalker left the room. "Come on Werda, let's get moving." The Commando then fell in behind Sarge and Veshok. "You guys got the same message?" asked Stalker to Veshok.

"Yeah, and we were just about to take on 20 trandos."

"Quit the chatter soldier!" scorned Sarge looking back at the two.

When the clones had assembled in the briefing room, a circular chamber centered around a holoprojector, a holographic representation of Geonosis appeared. Not even a second afterward, the commander himself marched into the room. "We've got trouble. The buggers still haven't got the message. One conquest and one failed revolt later, and they still think they're a match for us. A resistence movement has sprung up gentlemen. OOC: You do know that Sarge is not a Commando (This go's for everyone)

IC:

"We can't afford to lose the planet. After all we did get this after we brought it down from the CIS," said Sarge who was looking at the intel. He hated those days of the war. He and Cody are practically alike, except for rank and the things they do so far. "So Commander, what do you have in mind in this mission?"

Veshok just looked at the planet hologram. Sometimes people wonder if his brain is still developed, since he looked at it all awe-struck under his helmet.
