For the character's faction... you say that she used to be with the Zann Consortium. Is she an independent now, or has she joined up with another faction? How far beyond normal are this character's reaction times? What were her reasons for disliking how things went with the ZC, and what convinced her to steal rather a lot of shiny stuff from them?

She's independent, though with enough remaining ties with the Consortium that I thought it be good to put that in her profile. (Reoccurring plot devices and all.) Her reaction speeds aren't any faster than what a normal person would be able to do with a bit of training, she's just that fast without any kind of training. And she dislikes any kind of orders, so someone telling her she had to hand over some goods she rightfully smuggled herself for less credits than what she could get from selling it herself didn't exactly sit too well with her. The shiny stuff was shiny was just extra.

Well, she'll be starting the game with a bounty on her head from the Zann Consortium, because, to my understanding and theirs, the shiny stuff was smuggled on their orders, with the understanding that it would go where they wanted it to go. While big fans of theft in general, they do get a bit tetchy when it happens to them.

It's hardly against the rules to start the game with a bounty on your head, though, so you've got my rubber stamp. (1)

Name: Sharon VictorSpecies: HumanGender: Female

Age: 42Faction: The Galactic Republic/Senatorial Guard

Sympathies: The Galactic Senate.Rank: Senatorial Commander (exact rank pending)Occupation: Senatorial Guard OfficerSkills: She excels at reacting quickly in the heat of battle, her reflexes trained to their physical limitations. She has trained with the blaster since she could hold one, and has the strategic mind needed for her job as a security officer.Force Abilities: N/aEquipment or Weapons: Her main weapon is a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol, though due to her position in the Senatorial security, she has access to a wide range of anti-personal blaster weapons.Personality: Well far from chilly, Sharon is not a people person. She gained her position through sheer skill and luck of the draw, most certainly not via brownnosing. Because of this she can often seem uncaring and apathetic to outside viewers, but taking that away, her personality is fairly standard. Notably though she is never quick to anger and a grudge, though this has been known to hurt her when dealing with the more despicable types she often meets.Home Planet: Coruscant.History: Sharon was born to a moderately wealthy family in the higher levels of Coruscant, allowing her to live the life of a middle-class citizen on a prosperous planet. A good amount of freedom from her parents allowed her to explore the lower sections of the vast city-planet in her childhood, making many friends down in the slums, some good, some bad. It taught her how to be quick on her feet and mind alike, as well as how to shoot a blaster well. As she grew older she looked towards the Jedi Temple, with its towering view over everyone else, and pondered what the Jedi were like. Her only experience was via her holobooks, which spoke of the nobility of the Jedi and their position as peace keepers throughout the galaxy. When she grew up, she would come to realize that the Jedi no longer fulfilled their intended role in the galaxy. During her years at an academy geared towards military and police recruits, she would intern at the Galactic Senate, primarily running coffee errands, but also getting to know security. There she met many a Jedi, and she was unimpressed. While many had idealistic values, they simultaneously accepted the fact that they were meddling deeply in Senate affairs. She learned through her time in the Senate that the Jedi process of ensuing stability in the Senate enforced too much of their own tyranny on the system. So she would graduate from the academy, joining the Senatorial security forces and ascending through the ranks in the most surprising of fashions. Many in the Senate got where they were by doing favors and bootlicking; Sharon simply did her job, and lucked into many a position that not even her skills would allow her under such nepotistic circumstances. Now she serves as a higher-ranking official, monitoring over a segment of Senate security, and doing her best to prevent what little bit of Jedi interference she can, no matter how small.

As I'm not a big enough of a nerd to know the Senatorial guard rankings (=P), if someone higher up could figure that out for me, that'd be great.

I don't really know the rankings either, but what really caught my eye was the suspiciously normal-sounding name.

Luke Skywalker isn't that abnormal of a name either (even the Skywalker bit is really not that bizarre), so I don't see the problem.

Name: Brand VastwindSpecies: HumanGender: MaleAge: 24Faction: RepublicSympathies: RepublicRank: GeneralOccupation: Droid-hunter Jedi Knight.Skills: Knows style 4 of lightsaber fighting styles, but has also gained extensive knowledge in utilizing a duel-wielder style, and is good with a blaster, preferably a DL-45.Force Abilities: Can track robots with affinity to electricity, has the ability to compress an object, knows shatterpoint, and is very limited when it comes to having good accuracy.Equipment or Weapons: Wears light, dark-green Mandalorian armor, and it has a black trim, colors for duty and justice. Has a dual lightsaber constructed with the blades the same color as armor. Helmet is basicly a visor, and thats all the equipment aside from a heavily modified DL-45 blaster.Appearance: Red hair, has a face anyone could relate to, eyes are haunted however by an incident when was still a Padawan. Is 6 feet, 4 inches tall, and is always wearing the armor.Personality: Good to be friends with, but is distant a lot.Home Planet: Mandalore, but doesnt go there any more.History: Brand was a member of the Jedi order a long time. Mandalorian father, Beviin Vastwind, nick-named Kal because of the short beskad, ad died, but was sent before had learned. He has been in the order for 20 years, and has a special twist-hilt light saber. Doesnt talk about past since is too painful.Ship Name: Kyr'am Kad (Means Death Saber)Model: Z-95 headhunter that is combined with a classic jedi interceptor, with a star fighter shield engine.Function: Starfighter.Weapons: 2 ion cannons, and 4 blasters. Has a "Buzzsaw" attached to the nose.Modifications: Heavy military shield engine, 5 engines, a hyperspace engine with a back-up, used to have 6 blasters, so removed 2 and made them ion cannons. Engine speed maxed out at 103% manufacturers specifications. Blasters are linked to a quadroplex power generator, and a G9-26 astromech droid co-pilot.Background: After scouring the Nal Hutta scrap yard asteroid field, had found 3 ships that felt would, when combined, mix up perfectly for the ultimate ship. Noticed that the engines on a jedi interceptor was junk from the forward, but good from the back, and a mostly complete pair of Z-95 Headhunter and a Arc-190 star fighter were both mostly good, and had towed them to Coruscant. After cutting the engines off both the interceptor and Arc starfighter, and the fighters shield generator, discovered the Arc had a pair of ion cannons and cut them off, and went to work making the best starfighter in the Republic: The Kyr'am Kad.

Name: Jason Renkin

Species: Human

Gender: MaleAge: 26

Faction: RepublicSympathies: Republic

Rank: Jedi Knight

Occupation: Jedi Knight/ Medic

Skills: Good at Form 1, very good at Form 4, and exemplary at Form 7. Excellent medic.

Force Abilities: Your average Jedi ensemble. This includes telekinesis, healing, and heightened jumping abilities. It should be noted that while he isn't good at using much besides the three abilities listed (and using the Force to guide his movements) he is very good at Force Healing.

Equipment or Weapons: A holocron containing his Master's last words, as well as many elementary lessons on the Force, a green lightsaber. The handle is a sleek black, the activation button almost invisible to the untrained eye.

Appearance: Jason is a tall, handsome brown haired man with piercing green eyes and a scar running down his cheek and neck. He eschews the normal cloak of the Jedi, preferring to wear less constraining clothing. He tries to keep up a happy expression.

Personality: Despite his past and his main lightsaber form, Jason is one of the more stable Jedi Knights, and it's often been said that if it wasn't for his vehement denial of any Padawan assignment, he'd have one by now. Most of the time he at least maintains a jovial exterior, but any trained Force user can tell that's not much more than a facade.

Home Planet: Correlia

History: Jason was taken from the planet of Correlia as a baby by the Jedi, raised in their ways. He passed the Initiate trials with flying colors and was the first Padawan in his class, picked by Jedi Master Golin Squarth. The old, experienced, rigid Master and the young, new to life, and fun loving Padawan learned from each other, eventually gaining a bond greater than most Jedi and their apprentice.Halfway through the last year of training everything changed. They were sent after a rogue Jedi that had kidnapped Younglings and were bending them to his ways. Master Squarth was killed after a grueling duel, the Force forsaking him as he tried to do one last attack. Or at least that's what it looked like to Jason. In reality the old man's legs couldn't put out enough power, but Jason didn't know that. He jumped in. The only emotion he was feeling was not anger, it was regret. Regret that scum like this rogue wandered free while his Master lay too wounded for Jason to heal him. He beat the already tired Jedi and freed the kids, recording his Master's last moments on a holocron. He was knighted for his bravery, a small consolation.Since then he's lost some of his faith in the Force, and isn't as powerful as he will be one day.Name: Emerald ValkyrieModel: Delta-6Function: Transport, combat. While Jason is not the best pilot, the force helps a lot in terms of fighting.Weapons: Two laser cannons.Modifications: Jason has spent a lot of time and money on this ship. It sports an astromech socket (in which goes Jason's droid, R2-K7) and a Class 1 hyperdrive. NOTE: Class one is because there isn't enough room for supplies otherwise. The other odd thing about the Valkyrie is it's color. Most Delta-6's are bronze, but Jason painstakingly painted his green and gold, with an orange ID number under the left wing, which is "J767".History: Jason got the Valkyrie the same way every Jedi gets their craft, but he formed a special bond with his and works on it every chance he gets, knowing it as well as Chewie and Han know the Falcon. Of course, it doesn't need repairs as often, but he works on it anyways.

And, there. Flex, I'll a be talking to you.

And if anyone recognizes the Valkyrie or Jason's basic character...

You played Odysseys.

No such thing as destiny.

@Doctor, I see no real issues with the profile. Unless Ymper or Basilisk have particular questions, approved. :) +1@ToaDraconix, General is not a rank with reference to the Jedi. As a Jedi player, you have the option of starting at Knight or below ranking. I would recommend tweaking his personal history a little. It looks a little disjointed at the moment. @Alex - Sharon Victor is a totally cool name. :) As for the Senate Guard rankings, I think Commander is generic enough to be good. I couldn't find anything specific online. Approved. +1

@Nentir - It'd work similarly to a normal holo recording advice. I'd imagine you'd have to focus a little on the Force though (if it's a Force-based holocron and not a standard data holocron, one would have to pour a bit of their personality into the organic crystal matrix). @To All - My apologies for the delay in getting up GM ICs. I had written up a bunch but they were deleted accidentally. :'(

You've got to put in some kind of details about what the character can actually do with the Force.

More details in the history - like, perhaps, why he did what he did - would also be good.

The force sensitivity they use to track force users whenever they have a job in dealing one.

I'll work more on the history right now.

EDIT: History made to more of liking. Also sorry about the fonts, I can't do anything about them.

Humva, I already approved you by PM, but for my loving public*: Sharon Approved +2.

*You all agreed to support my bid for world domination when you joined the RPG. It's in the extremely fine print.

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

(Assuming anyone here is Lawful, and not another component in a mixture of Chaotics and Neutrals)

Should be able to start working on the write-up for a new character soon. I have a half finished Jedi I could use, but someone seems insistent on my other plan for a down-to-earth CIS character.... eh, I'll get working on one of them.
