Right-clicking Dropdown Menu

Posted by iPenguin on Aug 01 2013 - 01:51 PM

I think this has to do something with the advertising policy overhaul, but I've noticed that there isn't a dropdown menu when right-clicking a link from an external site (including majhost and brickshelf). However, this is completely fine when dealing with links to the forums.
Example links to try it out
I am using FF 22 on OSX. I can replicate this using Chrome and Safari.
This is not a significant issue at all, but it's something that I did notice.

I can replicate the issue with both Chrome and Opera, Windows 7.

I'm getting this too...

Also reproduced here. Firefox 22.0, Windows 8.

The context menu is being bound on external links (it is in with the new code for the dialog on external links). If this code were removed, it would work:
jQuery('a[title = "External link"]').bind('contextmenu', function (e) {

return false;
Another alternative would be to use a user script in an addon like Greasemonkey to unbind all the event listeners. It works really well.
