Lightbox image viewer not working

Posted by Kayru on Dec 09 2013 - 02:11 PM

Take a look at any of the raffles with images. Try clicking on an image to view a larger version. The overlay occurs, but there appears to be no lightbox... until you scroll down. The image is covered by the overlay, and displays under the page content rather than on top of it.
I get the feeling that some CSS was left out:
#lightbox { position: absolute; z-index: 99999; }
(Depending on how the lightbox is supposed to work, it may be position:fixed)
However there is still an issue with the positioning that's being dynamically created for left: and top: . Hopefully it will run properly once it is styled to position:absolute or fixed.
Using Windows 7 I have verified this issue for FF, IE and Chrome.

I can confirm this, running Chromium 31.0.1650.63 and Firefox 26.0 on Ubuntu 13.10 amd64 w/ GNOME shell.

Is this still an issue?

This is definitely still an issue.

This should be fixed now.

Confirming fix on Win8.1, Firefox 32.0.3 and Internet Explorer 11.0.9600 (with the caveat that there's no fade animation on IE, but I suspect that's a browser limitation.)  Anyone else want to give it a shot?

Several other people have confirmed this as fixed to me, so I think we can call this done.

Done, then!
