Strange Topic Following Glitch.

Posted by Toa Imrukii on Apr 27 2016 - 09:05 PM

Okay, maybe it's just me, maybe I'm the only one, but when ever I go post something in a new topic, it automatically assigns me as following it, which is fine and all, but, it seems that something strange happens. Instead of it acting like how it would if you manually applied it, i.e it tells you so and so replied to it. Instead, it doesn't do that, and rather just gives me daily post digest emails, rather than notifications that someone replied. So instead I often times have to unfollow and re-follow manually, with time it's seemingly getting progressively worse, now I have to just finagle around with the following options, then set them back to defaults, then follow manually.

I have also noticed that this seems to happen only on mobile. And, I am unsure if I run into this problem on the desktop version at all, though I do believe that I still do.

Has anyone else experienced this strange occurrence?

Did you look through the settings here?

I have changed up my settings, and still no luck. I've given it about a week or two now and still the problem persists.

Unfortunately, I'm a stranger to IPB mobile. I'll see if anyone else knows what's up.
