Checking out the new Masks of Power trailer made me really nostalgic for my old BZP days. I really miss the huge community we used to have. I always say I'd like to come back into the fold, but I haven't committed yet. Bionicle has always had a special place in my heart though. Not to be dramatic but I feel like it really shaped part of who I am. After everything that's happened to me, through life and work and new relationships and long gone relationships and the discovery of my true identity, I am still a Toa warrior 💙💗🤍💗💙

Mantis - Kazuma Jinnouchi, Halo 4 Soundtrack My favorite track from the whole game, it's just so epic.

this isn't a problem in any other shooter why is it a problem in metroid? I don't really have a problem with it, but it does take you out of the immersion sometimes. Halo CE, 2, and 4 have the second-through-fourth players as Master Chief clones. Halo 3 was cool though because Player 2 was the Arbiter and players 3 and 4 were two different Elites. Heck, you don't necessarily have to have multiple Samus' either. In the expanded canon, there are other people who wield Power Armor, such as Armstrong Houston, so you can just have palette-swapped Power Armor-wearing players. Honestly, it is a small nit-pick anyway, I don't know why I got so into it XD ON ANOTHER NOTE, Halo 5 opening cinematic released last night. I can't explain the hype I have for this game (Bonkle 2015 hype levels).

Funny thing about Samus is that I actually don't care whether she's in the game or not XD Every Metroid game to date has starred Samus, it couldn't hurt to have some fresh faces. My main issue with what I've seen so far (granted, we don't know too much about the core gameplay yet) is that the campaign just seems like a massive boss rush. Where is the adventure and exploration that basically makes Metroid, Metroid? Why even put Prime in the title? It may have the Prime aesthetic, but without the core gameplay that made the Prime series what it was, what's the point? Regarding Blast Ball and PvP; Blast Ball's totally an awesome idea! I have nothing against this mode at all! It's actually a great idea to introduce people to the game's controls. No qualms here. But I really hope they have some kind of Deathmatch PvP ala a more in-depth Hunters multiplayer. Touching again on the Prime aesthetic, it's confusing that the Prime-style Federation Troopers are back, given what Other M was thought to have retconned. The troopers' mech suits are pretty cool, though, very stylistic and bold. I'm not impressed by the graphics or the color palette, however. I know the 3DS can do better than that. Regarding Metroid in general, though, I just really, really, REALLY want a new sidescroller. It's been 11 years, Nintendo! PLEASE, just give us that X) It's funny, there are so many games out there now who's high points include "Metroid-like", You'd think Nintendo would get the clue about what their fans desperately want. $60? I... wow. I don't even.

Can someone explain to me why Nintendo treats Metroid like its fans are Nintendo's estranged ex and Nintendo only shows up every once in a while to pay the bare minimum child support in the form of some sub-par Metroid game that not a single person asked for? .-.

I LOVE the Bohrok Kal Kaita Ja (mouthfull) combiner. It has a really cool shape overall and the body-swinging function is awesome for violently slamming down all manner of plastic foes XD
