Just felt like making a Nidhiki avatar.   Feel free to use it. URL:
Thought of it looking at the new movie pics in the recent article. After making more detail in Adobe Illustrator than shows up in the avatar, I figure I might as well put up the larger version as well (do not use this as an avatar  ):

Whoa, that's awsome, but you made a teeny tiny mistake. Nidhiki, although it looks like his bottom jaw is one piece, is really two pieces, which open up sideways when he talks. Trust me, I have a hi-res B2 trailer, so I know. But swwet av, anyway.

Heh, bones seems to be all interested in art all of a sudden. Lol, nah, jk. XD This one's great, I love the real basic look of Nidhiki it has, no real pose or anything, but a straight-forward image, great idea and pic!
The colouring is nicely done and his head looks a bit more organic than usual, but it's cool this way. Brilliant job, bonesiii, KUTGW! -Lhikan |

 I've always thought that the movie Nidhiki ('s head) looked like a cross between a fish's mouth and the Grinch...As a drawing it's great, but I'm not too crazy about it simply because I don't like the movie Nidhiki's face. Though it looks different from different angles... personally I like the "We shall not fail!" angle from the trailer. The coloring, however, is absolutely fantabulous...What'll it be next from you, Bones? A BBC 22 entry? An epic? You've really startled your fellow S&T-goers lately... -------------------- |

If only, if only....
Metroid? Well, I wouldn't know, but it's basically supposed to be a flash/MNOG style look (which is my favorite look ), and the shape is accurate to Nidhiki's movie shape as I could get it, then stylizing him my own way.
Epics are coming.  Have been for quite a while. But no details yet.  Yeah, I wanted to do Nidhiki from a front view, and that does look quite a bit different from side view. He's a mix, BTW, between the "We shall not fail" look and the look of this pic: http://www.bzpower.com/Imaging/stories/b2_...kka_nidhiki.jpg. The eyes especially look very different in those two.... not sure why...  It's got the Not Fail eyes, mouth area, and side bumps, and the other style head shape and coloring, mostly.

Okay, after that temporary lapse of sanity, I am back. I like it. The av looks kind of... Star Wars-y, for some reason Maybe it's the fact that he doesn't seem to have a nose, sort of like the Neomoidians (sp? no clue how to spell that), including Nute Gunray (also not sure if I spelled that correctly)Anyway, it is really cool. Your CGing work is great, and I hope that you continue to make the rest of it. But as an avatar... that could use some work. It just doesn't flow like the other version does - mainly beacuse it's smaller, and you can't see some of the graphics. But of course, if you make it anybigger, it will be violating BZPower rules, and that's a no-no. Like I said, I hope that you continue to make the rest of the body, as I would be thrilled what it looks like. -------------------- What happened to the old days?

Dude, you really should post your artwork more. I had no idea you could draw so well until I saw your AC8 entry! The Artwork forum is sorely in need of some fresh talent.
Adobe Illustrator, eh? Vector art is really sweet. I need to get Flash or something like it... Right after I get a new computer, the full version of Photoshop, register Terragen, and maybe Bryce or something similar. Yeesh, Graphic Design is an expensive hobby... Anywell, back to the topic. Great job! Vector art is something we don't see much here in Artwork, and it's refreshing when done this well. It really looks like him, sort of a Lomn/MNOLG hybrid. The Flash movies have always been my favorites, too. You ought to try doing the whole body, or maybe animating it... Can Illustrator do vector animation, or is that just Flash? --------------------  Wow. It has occurred to me that I haven't changed my sig since October... :blink: DOUBLE WOW. Whoops, kinda forgot about this topic....
 I'm finding myself a little too busy to do art right now... so I wouldn't expect anything else added if I were you. I like the green BG version, ~Vakam Nuva~Toa of Void~, if I ever have time, I may make one like that, but from the original vector art, so the fading fades to green as well. We'll see...
