OK, it was abused and deleted.  We'll try it again.

Only post your avatar kits (image or link) and a brief description here.  NO COMMENTARY!!!!  That means no questions about avatar or kit use, no accusations of where the kits came from, nothing!  If you post anything that does not include an Avatar kit, a link to an avatar kit, or a description, I will delete this topic too, and there will be no new Avatar kit topic.

I'm sorry that you lost out on all those old kits, but this is what happens when you abuse the system.

Thank you for playing!

Kit-Kat is here.  I'm planning on updating it whenever possible, with the best of the best avatar kits.
Remember, Kit-Kat is made with a lot of different avatar kits put together, so it is not "my" kit.  I just compiled them and edited them to make a very nice kit.
UPDATE: 4:11 PM, August 22, 2002
I have added on to the kit now!  Now I have Bohrok Va, Bahrag, Exo-Toa, ToMon gold armor, Toa Kaita, Nui-Rama, and Ussal Crab; plus a better color pallette.  (The first pallette I tried to make myself, but it wasn't very good.)

Hi I'm G-G & i'm going to show you how to make a basic ToMon & Basic Chibi creation :). First we shall start with the basic chibi avatar kit made by Sam Hideo Lopez:

  • Step 1-Decide which toa you are going to make, for this we shall make ONUA.

  • Step 2-Open the kit in a paint window:

  • Step 3-Select the crop tool (the box above the SELECT box) Drag it around the :pakari: & drag the box on top of the Toa Body:

  • Step 4-As in step 3 drag the box around the ONUA claw & place it on the end of the arm...Then copy it by right clicking it then pasting it, you then put that claw on the other arm:

  • Step 5-Now you can save your creation by draging a box around the Toa & clicking copy, opening a new paint window & pasting. Don't forget to save as GIF.

You now have compleated your ONUA creation.

    Next part ToMon:Tahu.

Now the ToMon guide :), we will be creating Tahu:

  • Step 1-Open a ToMon kit. You can find one in my Brickshelf ;-) you instantly will see the TOA section next to the Bohrok template:

  • Step 2-Delete the Pohatu shoes by croping (See top post) around them & presing DELETE near the End button. Next you move the Toa body & the arms to the bottom for more building space:

  • Step 3-Now join all the parts together (Tahu asembley way):

  • Step 4- Add Tahu's magma sword & :hau: :

  • Step 5-You are nearly done, all you do now is flood it with colour :). :

Next I will show you how to do Gali in the newest kit I have recieved, chibi nuva.

The orange mark near the masks is the location of the :hau:.

Now in chibi style, the inverted Toa...Pohatu:

Step 1-Select the Toa body then right click & click Flip/Rotate. Select Flip vertical & click OK. Yout Toa should look like this:

Step 2-Conect the legs to the body like so:

Step 3-Add arms & conect hands to the bottom:

Step 4-Add Kakama onto the top of his body:

Step 5-Now colour in your Toa in any way you like :) :

    Next post...Pohato ToMon style.

PS. Don't forget that chest ball :-).

Hi now I will be using the newest kit to the collection, Chibi Nuva smile.gif:

    LEWA NUVA:

Step 1-Drag the body stated in the picture below using the crop method to a large space on the page so there will be enough room to build your Toa:

    1

Step 2-Also drag the legs & feet of Lewa nuva to the position & line them up into place:

    2

Step 3- Bring the representive blades down & slot them into place:

    3

Step 4- Now you know what to do...FLOOD IT WITH COLOUR smile.gif

    4

PS:I apologise for the pixles, but it must be strait off the screen so members can spot small detail that is vital, next time I will try to decrease it.

    just a minor note:

when aking the Pohatu, do not place the arms on his neck; place the arms on the korners of his :kakama: , it makes it look a bit better then.

    p.s. great work gold-gali

I have been seeing exesive topic saying "How do I make a BMP into a GIF" or "I need an avatar in GIF but I cant do it" well I have mase a very simple & easy to follow guide along those guidelines to help a large mass of new members.

    First make a basic creation:

Once you have done that open the File drop down menu then click SAVE AS notice the box that says 24 colour bitmap click the small arow next to it & select GIF*:

Enter a file name & click save:

Now you can upload it onto your Brickshelf or Geekshelf gallery :).

Now we have the MS paint tools & how they work:

    1. The cropers:

The icons located in the red box are called select/croper tools, they move sections of your creation to another part of the work area depending on your requirments very handy :

    2. Rubber & Filler:

These are used for deleting prompted parts of a creation, if you are  willing to destroy larger parts you click the different sizes in the lower box. For the filler you just  have to select a colour & click the selected part to fill in that colour :

    3. Zoom

I use this a lot, it is used to zoom into your creation & pick out the slightest detail, very very handy :) :

    4. Pencil & Brush

Common for pianting large & small areas of your creation. The default tool of paint I would encorage you to use this a lot :

    5. Spray & Font inprint

Spray should be used for merging colours & shades of colours. The font should add captions to your creation & only be used in the lowest zoom. :

    6. Lines & Curves

Used for creating large lines & corners, were as the other one you drag the centre of the line to make a curve :

    7. Boxes

Well we should all know by now, select the specific box & drag away to make the perfect box :) :

Well thats all for the time being.

    Have a great halloween :vampire:

kaukau.gif Okay! My first attempt at a kit, slightly more detailed than the ones I have been seeing so far. Less variety of Toa to make though. sad.gif It is a one handed Toa, basic layout. assembly is similar to a normal kit.

I call it, THE DETA KIT!!! (deta stands for detail)

The eye colors can be changed at users own discretion, red and blue are on here already though. the Akaku is hard to put on if you are trying to make Kopaka, and it has no original sword. and sorry, I don't do Nuvas. Don't like em.if you magnefy the masks, youll notice some lines where eyes once were, you can obviously erase them, I left them there as placement guides when pasting masks over the Toa's head. I think gold gali can cover how to use this kit from there. Oh, and if you do use this kit, please be sure to include a link to the kit so others may use it as well. Feel free to use it, but DO NOT STEAL IT!! (use it and claim that it was yours all along). Happy holidays! xmas.gif

-EDIT: Never mind the pictures that are now missing. I just realized JPEGS get really grainy, making it harder to paint things. Give me some time and I might post a better one. wacko.gif

Alright, I started this kit about a month ago, and had ben working on it little by little. However, I really wanted to get it ffinished, so I worked my butt off all day yesterday and today, and here's the result:

This is RZ's MEGA KIT. 100% original: I drew every single piece, none of it comes from pre-existing kits. If you remember the Tahu signature image that I had recently, it was made from this kit.

The kit allows you to make Toa, Toa Nuva, Turaga, and Tohunga, all to scale! Every single Kanohi type is represented (except Vahi, because I don't have one to draw from, but maybe I'll make one later).

I'll be adding on to it, as well. Expect Bohrok and Bohrok Va pieces sometime soon!

To EASY TO YOU, save my MEGA KIT! laugh.gif
