Well, as a treat for me starting a new school year, I've drawn Ssrinsrautha, one of the main characters in HauNuva's amazing Exosphere Trilogy (link in my sig). I know it's pretty light, but I'm planning on inking it down and maybe getting it CGed once I get HN's consent (I'm not sure how many heads she has). I'll probably be posting more art--including everyone's favorite splatter of course--that might include the Toa, since this isn't exactly Bionicle related. It's easier to draw biological things than mechanical things for me, though.

That's really good, but I think that the necks are a little too thin. Mind you, that is what I imagined Ssrin to look like...
When will the next ones appear?

You just went back today? I went back the 27th! And this week, this bus ride got boring (and it'll be like that for the next two weeks).

But anyways, your pic reminds me of the story: Magnificent, and perfectly executed. From what I can make out, it looks pretty good. I hope to see a darkened version soon!

WOW. As someone who can't draw but who has an architect as a parent, I can tell you with authority that that is a REALLY GOOD PICTURE. As Kumata noted, the necks are a bit thin, but they can be 'fleshed out' easily enough. Otherwise, it's flawless! I see you managed to penetrate my thick writing and find out what a Khai looks like.

BTW, I think Ssrin has eight heads. Blast. Let me go check. I can never remember.
Er....could you do Thau? Smaller, less muscled, six heads. Or not. Do Konro first, if you'd like.

Thanks for the wonderful art! I wish I could draw so I could repay you, but unfortunately, you don't want your stories humiliated. Maybe I'll think of something I can do.

Well, I've 'fleshed out' the necks, as HN put it--but not by much. I didn't want to have to redo the heads, and if I made the necks too big, they would've been dwarfed. And I think I'll start on Thau--I can't seem to get the picture in my head onto the paper for Konro (is there such thing as Artist's block?)

Abdiel? I'm not so sure, I'm not that good at skeleton-like things. But in the meantime, Thau's up! A little darker, a little messier. But I wanted this one to have a bit of feeling in it. And I think his necks are a bit thick, but the description said his necks were thicker than Ssrin's. Time to work on Konro...

WOW. Also very good. I love the way you did the arms, although I do agree that the necks are a bit thick. I should have made this clear- they don't thicken as they get closer to the body, except at the very base. That's the only problem, and there wasn't a way you could have avoided it! Actually, I think the width of the neck at the start is just fine, but you could thicken it towards the bottom.

I can't believe you did these for my story! They're so great!

Cool! Another great pic! Personally, I imagined Thau to be a bit spineless, so the necks came as a disappouintment... but it's good all the same. If you could, how about a go at Korm, or Kasstaxa?

I think I'm done with making the Khai right now. But, look! Ssrin has been inked down! And I'm going to change Thau's necks a bit, like HN said.

Whoa! All this drawing has made me fall behind on my stories! After I put Konro up, don't expect some for a while, since I'll be writing a few more chapters.

Necromancer, these masterpiece drawings were inspired by a humble little epic series of mine. They might make more sense if you read them.

Anyway, love the inked version! Thau's necks still seem a bit big...but that's just me. Don't get me wrong, the rest of him is perfect, so you'd get at least a 95% (if even that low.) Ssrin's inked version is so perfect, though.

Crudely drawn? It's certainly better than I could have done! I'll admit that some of the poses and perspectives are a bit off, but who cares? Once you've got that that inked and revised, it'll be fantastic! It's already marvelously splendid!

My compliments on doing that scene so well, it was also one of my favorites. You could put in some background when you've got the time - they were fighting on a catwalk in a chemical refinery - but I don't want to stress you out.

Korm looks very 'good', that as, as he is described. Hmmm...I wonder, if you emailed these to someone whose good with color, or did it yourself, could we color these? That'd be interesting!

If I knew where you lived, I could pay you for these. They're definitely worth it!

I can only find one fault: The viewing angle is from the same one every time, except zoomed in-out for the different ones.
That background is exactly (And I mean exactly) what I pictured it as. Spooky! Anyways, as CI might say, KEEP DRAWING!

EDIT: That something else is here: Konro. I wanted to give the possibility that he could be changing into anything here--well, anything with at least one head, two arms, and apposable thumbs. Not very creative, I know. But I'd thought about making him half one race and half another, but I haven't had enough practice with the other races yet. So, there you have it: Konro.

A new drawing: Onua! This one I'm proud of, since it's my first try at a Toa, even though it's not as good as I'd have liked. You should be able to see this one, since it's on Birckshelf instead of VillagePhotos. The problem with VillagePhotos is that I can only get up to 5 MB of images up, and I have somewhere around 5.04 or something. It's mostly because of the 60 KB Mahalis avatar.

Every little detail, every nut and bolt, every tiny thing is there. It's amazing. It's beyond words.

Sorry, I just had to do that. Anyways, I've made avatars of both Thau and Ssrin. I might do Konro once I get him inked down. I don't really want to ink Onua--the design's too intricate. The file is size is cutting close, but I'm pretty sure there's still a bit of room on VP's daily usage limit. Of course, I looked there this morning, and it said somewhere around 2.something, but when I looked again, it was 4.something! And that was before I added the avatars.

Actually, they are .jpgs. So take 'em and color 'em! Btw, I'm not sure if I'll be doing any new Exosphere pics; maybe I'll ink Konro, but I've got to get working on JaS.
