The Chronicles of Darkness Book I: The Heir of Makuta
Without might or heroes, the citizens are defenseless against all the might that belongs to the Darkness, and eventually die. None are there to save the day. Someone must have been wrong when they stated, “evil never wins.” Victory is not only in the Shadow’s grasp, but already claimed. Evil overcomes all, and it could never change again…
Rated PG-13 (blood and intense battles)
STATUS: Finished, 15 chapters long.
SUMMARY: Asruthen is a great warrior of darkness. Can he overcome his foes and emerge victorious? The epic that started it all - start the Asruthen Chronicle from the beginning!
EVALUATION: Worst of the trilogy. Many things ripped-off of others. Read primely to be able to read its sequels.

The Chronicles of Darkness Book II: Through Forest, Flame, and Ice
Asruthen opened his eyes, and found himself lying in a pile of leaves in a clearing. About the ground were the sprawled corpses of his allies.
Rated PG-13 (blood and intense battles)
STATUS: Finished, 20 chapters long.
SUMMARY: Asruthen and the Xahctrann band continue with their trek around Mata Nui, unbeknownst to innumerable twists and turns in store.
EVALUATION: Dragging in some areas, but better than its predicessor. Worth it, IMO, to get to the dream sequences and the Ko-Wahi chapters.

The Chronicles of Darkness Book III: Shadow and Light
Mixed into the drenching rain running down his face were tears of distress. He wept for what he had done. He wept for the loved ones in his life that he had lost. Above all of them, though, he wept for his fallen brother.
Rated PG-13 (blood, intense battles, and war themes)
STATUS: Finished, 10 chapters long.
SUMMARY: Asruthen's quest comes to a close as the Xahctrann wage their final war on the people of Mata Nui.
EVALUATION: Probably the best of the three. Weak in the beginning, drags in the middle, but the big climax in the last chapters is good.

STATUS: Finished, 10 chapters.
SUMMARY: Asruthen sees the light and brings his brother Bokcdur back to life. Together, the two embark on a quest to resurrect the long-deceased Toa Nuva of Mata Nui.
EVALUATION: Good, but not without a deal of flaws. Leagues better than the Chronicles of Darkness. It won Serious Story Contest 4, so you could say it's worth a look.

The Chronicles of Light Book II: Evil's Essence
On the edge of the town centre, Asruthen spotted a menacing figure encased in a shield of black energy. Enraged, the silver warrior charged at the foe, and stopped before his shield. He looked into fiery red eyes of malice and evil that sat behind a pitch-black Kanohi. The same Kanohi that Asruthen wore every day.
Rated PG-13 (some language, blood, and intense battles (one brutal))
STATUS: Finished, 10 chapters.
SUMMARY: With Bokcdur gone on an unspecified mission and Xaelturgoth's highest order of underlings waging open war on the Matoran, Asruthen faces burdens heavier than his brothers could imagine.
EVALUATION: The best thing I've written, in my opinion. Definitely something I'm rather proud to have written.

The Chronicles of Light Book III: Dawn of Void
The stranger continued, acting as if he hadn’t heard the words. “Or was it him, lying on the bottom of the sea? Was that truly Asruthen? Why would he have done such a thing, to give himself up to the waters for Takea to harvest his remnants? Of course, I supposed he remained a man of his word...” He yanked something out from under his coat, clutching it in a closed fist. A waving ripple sailed through the cloth, and as the hood flowed, a piercing red eye flashed from the blackness.
He held his fist far out in front of him and opened it slightly, allowing part of a chain necklace to sink out to be suspended in the air.
“The Star of Gali did have to be pried from his cold, dead hands...”
Rated PG-13 (some language, blood, intense battles, and warfare).
STATUS: Finished, 10 chapters, full-scale rewrite in the works.
SUMMARY: The war reaches its peak and puts every inhabitant of Mata Nui to the ultimate test. In the face of cataclysm, for whom will this battle be their last?
EVALUATION: Not really terrible, but the worst of this trilogy. Hopefully the rewrite withh make it

With that, the ground beneath Kopaka shattered, and sent him plummeting into an abyss.

SUMMARY: When the Bohrak-Kal strike the Koro, Gali loses her elemental powers right as a tidal wave is preparing to crash on her, plunged into a prophetic dream.
EVALUATION: Better than some of The Chronicles of Darkness, but not as good as The Chronicles of Light. Pretty short, worth a quick look.

The Silent Shadow
I exiled him, his conscience chimed. I betrayed him… Insulted him… Broke the trust of fellowship…
“I EXILED HIM!” Kopaka bellowed aloud to the overcast sky. Only a few faint rays of sun peeked through the clouds to look back at him in the gentle snowfall. His furious words lingered in the frozen valley as their echoes rang through the plains and mountains of the Wahi.
Rated PG (intense fighting, mild violence)
STATUS: Finished, one post long.
SUMMARY: Kopaka wanders the wastelands of Ko-Wahi in solitude, guilt-ridden after Asruthen's suicide. An encounter with a mysterious and deadly swordsman poses the question: did Asruthen truly die?
EVALUATION: I actually genuinely like this story. I think the writing and pacing are rather good, and it placed second in 2005's EpicFest, so that's a good sign.

He's long been one of the best of friends one could have, and while has scarcely missed the chance to review me, writes his own stunning series of epics, Exosphere. All of his masterpieces can be found in his epic center. I suggest you read them; this individual is not as well-known as he deserves. I tip my imaginary protodermic bowler hat to this man twice!

Another of my good friends, he's yet another of BZ's exceptionally talented writers. We should be working on our epics or the Blerg, yes... But why do that when we can distract ourselves chatting on AIM? CI's awesome on immeasurably levels, and I'm enthused to say that I've got ties to some of BZP's finest. Check out his Torn Identities and other stories, all found in his bookshelf (story center).

Me good friend Watson is a true artist at heart, but his writing would make you think he's been an author since he was 4! Go on and give him your feedback in all the great things he does!
The Splendifical Heroes of Mata Nui! Watson's comic series about the twisted tale of the Toa's quest, starting with their arrival! Unlike other comics, this one has several recurring themes that tie it all up in something of an actual plot.
The Coming of the End. After you've read the comics, you can stop laughing from the hilarity. This stunning epic puts a twist on the ending of "Mask of Light," following Kopaka's story of what happens between Makuta's downfall and the departure to Metru Nui. Plenty of action, suspense, a little drama, and some witty humor!


Sir Kohran the Great
Kohran was one of the first people to become a faithful reader and reviewer of my stories (dating back to Chronicles of Darkness). He's not much into the epic business these days (you can catch him hanging around the Knights' Kingdom topic in LGD, I'll tell ya that), but you can still check out his old story, The Bohrok Temple.


Vanilla Coke
Vanilla Coke (a.k.a Tropical Sprite Remix, but he changed back)... Great writer, indeed. His will send chills of eeriness, excitement, and pleasure down your spine all at once. In order, he wrote The Conspiracy, The Followers, and The Survivor. Unfortunately, he lacked feedback, and was driven to the point where he would stop writing all together. Thankfully, though, he eventually decided to wrap it up and leave us with a complete trilogy; everyone head on down to the review topic and send him your thoughts!

The release dates willprobably be off by a bit or a lot, so don't anticipate them as soon as they were predicted. I don't know howlong each book will be. Thank you.

I finally figured out why no one heard of me! Most writers make their chapters short, and post constantly. I make mine long, and therefore, don't post as constantly! And thus, other constantly-updated stories are brought back to the top, and push mine back, until it reaches the pages beyond!

Oh yeah, maybe if I weren't so lazy, I'd become a better poster and become well-known, like GaliGee, or someone active... It would be either post a LOT, or continue writing. Hmm...

OMIGOSH!!! My gum JUST DISSOLVED IN MY MOUTH!! UH, oops.

Anyway, first of all you Dp'ed KopakaX. Second of all, try writing one chapter each day, that way, no matter what, your story will always be on the top sometime or another.

I know. I thought I was editing it.

And it really isn't easy to write an entire chapter a day. I have to think them out, plan for the future and how it could relate, make it long enough, good enough, and have time for my homework and everything else. But it's Thanksgiving weekend, so I should be able to get some done.

*drools at the thought of food* Ah well, Turkey Day's tomorrow. I'll just kill my eyes by watching TV and playing COmputer!

Alright, I've updated the place, and the new colors make things much more distinguishable.

I now have a list of the people who I have taken suggested ideas from. So far, that's only griggs155, but the list will grow as more ideas are written in the story.

Nice stories, but what is that? a triple post? Please don't do that. I did that in my story center and it got closed.

Magnificisplenderful new chapters! I'm afraid to say I'm addicted. I went for a while without any COD and started blacking out. Now I am irresistebly drawn to BZPower whenever I'm on the Internet so I can re-read old chapters.

I'd say Gali's Heart. I don't know what I was thinking with the Le-Koro story, and Kopaka, Toa of Ice was my first fanfic (and it shows dramatically in its lack of quality). GH is one of my better pieces, though. EDIT: WHOA, GaliGee's gotten to my head. By Gali's Heart (which is her stupendous epic), I meant Gali's Vision. Don't hurt me, copyright-enforcement lawyers...

And I added a tribute to Vanilla Coke, and a tidbit about hat-tipping to HauNuva (speaking of which, though having nothing to do with hat-tipping, I'm getting to Backlash again TODAY, HN, despite any circumstances).

Hmm. Ok, I'll go read it now! I just have to get in the right state of mind, so your writing doesn't knock me flat with jealousy.

Anyway, we keep ending up being online at the same time. And I edited my last post. I tried to say 'ga-wd', and it changed it to 'good,' so it looked like I was telling you, 'Good doggie!' Blah. That's been fixed. 'Wow' is better anyway.

EDIT: A little tip; why don't you change 'Book 1' of CoL to 'Rebirth of the Toa' in your signature? I always thought the most enticing part about the CoD links in your sig was the great titles. Speaking of which, I considered originally having Exosphere be a two-book series with the first book being 'Null' and the second book being 'Void,' so when people said, 'what's Exosphere?' I could say, 'it doesn't matter, it's null and void.' HAHA...what was that all about? I'm staying up too late.
