Most of these links used to be in my signature, but after a month, someone seemed to notice it was longer than 5 lines... which is of course not allowed.

As a result, I decided to gather the links in this topic, for your convenience and that of BZP itself.
Most stories, be they epic or comedy, have a separate review topic, but I didn't update the links (too lazy), so you'll have to use this thread.

Epics

The Katalyst Chronicles:

So far, these chronicles consist of two epics:

- Roots of the Ancient: Third place in the Serious Story Contest 3!
- Evil lies Underneath : this is the sequel to Roots of the Ancient.

The Hunter Tales:

- The Last Hunter

Epic project with Triple Force Lewa

- The Anti-Toa Saga: a 'joint venture' epic, with TFL creating the storyline and characters. Be sure to check out his MOCs on the epic, they're great!
Current chapter: Chapter XVI: Victorious Force

Tiki's Journey

This is the story of a Ga-Matoran lost at sea: Tiki's Journey. Current chapter: Chapter X: The Gathering, part II

Special thanks to -T- a.k.a. Takea, for this portrait of Tiki: Tiki, MoL-style.

Short Stories

- Origin, which can be considered a prelude to Tiki's Journey, although you do not need to read the epic to enjoy this story.
- Witnesses, a journey through Metru Nui, in the present, and the past. One of my favourite short stories.
- Warrior Hearts, which is a poetic ballad rather than a story, but it tells of the '01 saga, the coming of the Toa and the first battle against Makuta.
- Tales of Refu-Nui: the adventures of Reslig and Akisu, two rogues out for wealth, who nonetheless lose or squander it more than often. Stories of this series written so far: Ill Choices
- The Last Battle: two sought adventure - and found it.

Comedies

- Cursed Kopaka , a long-forgotten comedy: don't be surprised if it's locked, it didn't follow the rules instated a long time afterwards by Z, and I forgot to adapt it. Still, low quality.
- Dropkick Muri

Should we reply here instead of the other review topics then? Well yes or no, here is where i'm going. smile.gif

I hope you make more adventures with Tsari after the last hunter, I really miss that cheerful little guy!

Great Stories, and i'm glad you finally put them all into one review topic so we don't have to hunt them down.

The links in the stories link to the seperate review topics, and changing them all will be a very boring and time-consuming task I am not up to yet. Of course, there is always the link in my signature that brings you here directly.
The choice is up to you where you post a reply, as long as I know to which one you're replying... sly.gif

Yes, I agree, this epic has a very serious mood to it, and I need to write something less gloomy after it.

It was more out of necessity that I created this topic: I managed to get the 'click here to see why my sig is gone' link... biggrin.gif
Of course this makes things easier for you guys, I just have to post something and click my own signature.

My own next epic will begin in February, and it's a bit different from what I've written before, so if you can wait for another two and a half weeks, you'll be set with the first chapter.
In the meanwhile, there's the epic project with TFL, check out the link above.

Thanks, Comet Ball Traitor. I'm glad you liked it, I worked hard on it, and it was one of my most action-packed epics.
And don't worry, I won't tell anyone you're hiding here...

evil_me_43, I didn't know you were such a big fan, but I'm glad you give my stories the 'thumbs up'.

And for those who were wondering: I've begun a new epic, and I'll still be working on the Anti-Toa Saga as well. (Don't worry, TFL, I'm not giving up on it, your epic's fun to write.) This one's new, and added above as well:
Tiki's Journey. The review link goes here, I didn't add an extra review topic since I've got this one anyway.

SK--

Like I said in my PM, Tiki's Journey is off to a teriffic start. It really looks like the diary of a girl, which goes over real well with me. The prologue is very creative, with Tiki's boat unable to fight the current. It'll be interesting to see where Tiki goes and what Tiki winds up doing. Is the entire story going to be in diary format? Or just certain parts?

-*-Nova Nuhvok-*-

PS: I am so sorry for posting in your epic, rather than the review topic. I edited the post, and just put a couple of characters in there to lessen the effect of it. Once again, I am so sorry!

Most of it will be in diary format for now, but later on that changes. I will however be using excerpts from her travel log from time to time throughout the entire epic.

Wow! What an epic!
I must say, SK, you seem very adept at writing all kinds of fiction! Comedies, "dark" epics, and now this, Tiki's Journey!

I love the way you incorporate all the different kinds of Mata-Nuian and Ga-Koronan culture into this epic. It really makes reading this epic a very rich experience.

I absolutely LOVE the Mata-Nuian days and months, and the way you show the Ga-Koronan lifestyle in such a short space is truly incredible.

Tiki is indeed a very lifelike character, and the way her diary is written really reveals her thoughts...

It'll be very interesting to see what happens next, and where she ends up...

Again, SK, this epic is just a beautiful piece of fiction, especially with your elegant descriptive passages...

I'll definitely be following this epic!

Beautiful job on "Tiki's Journey," SK! You are doing a fine job of speaking through a female character, she seems very real. The descriptions are fabulous. They make me nostalgic for a place I've never been! I love the details that bring the scenes to life. Poor Tiki... she's so lost... but I bet you have some great adventures in store for her!

Wow. It's...just...wow...I mean...wow... You make wonderful works of fiction, Schizo, and this one is no different. And that's only the prologue! Time for me to find out just what that track topic button does... This is one of the VERY few diary-formatted stories that I actually find that are even halfway decent. And of course, I've read both Katalyst chronicles(got confused a bit in #1, but got over it) and the Last Hunter. Awesome! And I laughed my head off at Dropkick Muri! Literally. Hey, body! I'm over here! Now I shall go read Cursed Kopaka while I wait for the next chapter of Tiki's Journey. Go Schizo Kaita!

At last another SK original, I exsepected something else. But this is great. What most of these people who posted here allready said, the diary form is an good choise, it reveals much of the charter. I to like how you discribe the party's and all. I'd love to see another chapter soon.
When were gonna see the Katalyst (sorry, just forgot the name) again, I miss him you know. But it doesn't matters, I hope to see a new chapter soon. happy.gif

IT, I didn't really know the prologue was going to be this long before I wrote it, but while I was thinking up the days and months, I considered putting in a holiday celebration, and the rest grew from that. I thought I'd start off with some Ga-Koro common ground instead of just throwing her into the storm straight from the beginning...

MNH, I liked the party as well. Such a special celebration asks for one, and I thought I might as well make the party special for Tiki as well.

Thank you, GG. Although I didn't really know how to write things from her perspective, I just thought back to the youth novels I read in highschool, and Gali's heart as well. psychotwitch.gif
If I didn't have anything in store for her, it would be a rather boring epic, wouldn't it?

I'm glad you approve, rcxmaster: it was a challenge, and a lot of people who wrote in diary format told me they weren't too happy about the results... So I knew I had to do a good job on it.
Roots of the Ancient was my first epic, and I was still practicing how to write a whole story... I had only thought up a few things in my head, but never entrusted them to the Word sheet. I just hope the results of the Story Contest are in soon, so I know what to grade it...
Cursed Kopaka is what I call an old-style comedy... Too short, and very strange...

There's a chance you'll see Tsari again soon... but not in the Library... (Although I might reconsider entering... ziplip.gif )
I hope to see a new chapter myself, but today wasn't a good day for it: the scouting party lasted 'till 7AM, and I slept 'till 15PM... I'm still exhausted.

again a great chapter! I loved the drawings, and I wonder what the names of those creature's are. The descriptions of the wildlife were beautiful and I loved it to even see them too. You made a wonderfull job on the writing style, you allmost get the feeling that you're Tiki herself.
Great word Schizo! hope to see more soon.

VERY good job on Tiki's Journey. I like the diary format. I agree, often it's not well done, but you succeeded with this one. It's incredibly descriptive, I felt like I was in the story! Combined with your sketches, it makes the story very visual.
And I appreciate your posting the story in Black text.. lime green gets a bit difficult to read sometimes.
I hope that I catch all the updates of this story, so I can read a bit at a time. 10/10 so far, you are one of the better authors on BZPower.

Yeah, I always felt posting entire chapters in limegreen wouldn't get me many readers... I added the pictures from Tiki's travel log as extras, a bit of a visualisation part. But according to you and Takea, I don't really need those. Thanks.

You said it. It seems most of my humour is dependant of hard objects flying through the air at great speeds, and which are prone to colide with underdog Matoran...

awsome descriptions schizo! I loved how... how... descriptive you were! The pictures were awsome too! Did you draw those yourself? If not, either way, they are awsome!!!! I know it's sortof cheesy, but to give you an Idea of how well this story is doing from my perspective.

1.)Evil Lies Underneath
2.)Roots of the Ancient
3.)Tiki's journey
4.)The Last Hunter

But that's how it stands for the epics so far. But as you can see from the rankings...I LOVE TSARI! [no no no, not in that way. i just think he's cool.]

I love those new chapters! It just seems so real, especially with the pictures; very nice. The seaweed is a nice touch, too, but I think a waterspout would have caused more damage than that... The thing with the creeks is very realistic, also. And that rock with writing looks eerily(sp?) like a tombstone... Extremely spooky...

Expect a new chapter sometime this week, I'm just not very inspired right now, and I don't want to risk writing something I don't like myself, if you know what I'm saying.
Tahufrozen, I'm honoured you want to use my character, but I'm sure you can create one just as good (probably even better) than Dropkick. He doesn't have much character depth, he was only created to undergo my sadistic torture. sly.gif
rcxmaster, I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere of the story.
MNH, after Tiki's Journey and one new epic, Tsari will definitely make a return. And that's a promise. smile.gif

Wow, SK, I just got caught up on "Tiki's Journey," and it is still wonderful. I was getting really thirsty, just reading it! unsure.gif I LOVE the pictures! They really add to the feeling of the story (not that it NEEDED them, because your descriptions are fabulous, but they are a welcome enhancement). I like this Matoran, she's so resourceful and philosophical, and I hope you have good things in store for her!

Sorry for taking so long, but I've been very busy! But now that I've read Chapters 2 and 3, I'm just...blown away!

The imagery and details in these chapters were so intense! Every sentence enabled me to see so clearly what you were talking about! And those pictures! ohmy.gif You can really draw! Those just took the epic up to a whole new level! Even though you already describe everything so well, those pictures showed me exactly how the various animals and scenery looked like!
And Tiki's thoughts and emotions were so well brought out in her diary! Just reading it made me long for a cool drink of water, and when she got away from the seaweed, I rejoiced with her!

Every experience of her that you wrote about seemed so real, so much like real life!

Her joy over the sight of land was so heartwarming, so joyful! And your drawing of that island was perfectly done! Her scouting missions were so fun to read about, and I loved it when you described those "dinosaurs"! biggrin.gif

And that "writing" on the rock was VERY interesting...

Thank you for these BEAUTIFUL chapters!

GG, thanks for the thumbs up. biggrin.gif I tried hard to make this 1st-person narrating perspective to work, and I'm glad it paid off. The pictures are merely an added bonus, as they add to the exploration atmosphere of the story.
toa volla, I'm sorry to say that Tiki did not go back in time (good idea, though...), but it's true I based some of those animals on dinosaurs. This way the alien feeling of the epic is enhanced.
IT, your review is heart-warming itself. user posted image I'm glad you like what I did so far.

For your information, I just updated Tiki's Journey with the third chapter, and I hope you'll still like the story after reading it. Just know that I'll have a lot of explaining to do once I start working on chapter 4.
Enjoy! psychotwitch.gif

Wow Tiki's Journey is amazing. Not as much action as The Last Hunter did but you still seem to make me like it when I usually get bored on non-action stories in the first chapter. Keep up the great writing. biggrin.gif

Wow, this fic is such a whirlwind of activity! First Tiki's there, then Tiki's here...it's just amazing! I love this format...it works well for this type of story. The pictures are great, did you draw those things? If you did, they're fantastic! I love it when people illustrate their islands and inhabitants for the story, (even if you did such a fine job describing the island that I didn't need them...)

I hope you have lots in store for Tiki. She's a likable character. I like the way you often choose Matoran to be the stars of your fiction. It's easy to create a story about the Toa...it's much harder to create one involving the lesser heroes of Mata Nui. Sweet job!

PS: I know how lack of inspiration can hinder anyone's writing. Take your time, I'm certainly not going to rush your for chapters. biggrin.gif

toa volla, I'm glad you like the fact that this takes place on another island, but Makuta Master's Mata Haru is very good as well. I've been pondering on what the Toa should look like, I've already got their characters set.
CBT, that must be a major compliment. So far, nothing has happened action-wise, yet you're still hanging in there and loving it. Thanks!
NN, I liked to try my hand at the diary format, and I'm glad it's succesful. I only use excerpts, as I want to keep her story realistic. Right now I switched to real live action from another perspective to keep that realistic aspect, yet I still add the sketches from her travel log. And yes, I did draw those, thank you for the compliment. My Matoran protagonists are my favorite characters, as there's more versatility to them, and I can create them just the way I want to have them fit the story I want to tell. I also find the Matoran the most likeable characters of the Bionicle Saga, so that should explain something. In the Anti-Toa Saga I try to show the Toa like they are in the storyline, but I find that just as tough as creating a character of my own. I might take my time for the next chapter, or not. I guess it depends on how creative I wake up tomorrow.
Thank you for the comments, all of you, and 'till the next chapter! psychotwitch.gif

What an awesome couple of chapters! WOW!

One of the things you're best at is revealing a whole new culture, such as with the Nevoran civilization...and these chapters show us a whole new world! biggrin.gif The villages, the Turaga, the Nevorans, their history, their whole way of life! Just excellent!

-The transition from diary format to live-action format was perfect! The "first contact" of the two worlds was very well-written!
-As always, your character development and description was superb!
-The pictures of the masks were very nicely done! Even though I could sort of tell what they were like, the pictures helped me see them a lot more clearly! You can draw really well! That green Kaukau/Miru Nuva looks awesome! I wish that was really a Kanohi!
-Nice job with the Raurau/Tiki conflict. I can tell you're going to continue to use this...
-I loved how you described Na-Koro! And the picture was great, as well!
-It was excellent how you described Tiki's feelings for seeing people again! After being alone for so long, I can imagine how joyful she must feel!
-The meeting of Turaga Ruha and Tiki was fabulous! Again, I got the feeling how momentous this occasion was, a meeting of the two worlds...
-Turaga Ruha was very well described, and I must say, your drawing of him looks VERY much like the MoL Vakama...sly.gif
-The "Origin Legend" was SO PERFECT! It sounded so true, just like Lego itself had written it! Beautiful job! With it, you've set up the next chapters just perfectly! And, already, I feel like I know the other villages, Rao-Koro and Tao-Koro, so well...
-3 Toa! Wow! I can't wait to see what they're like!
-You really know how to leave us hanging! Tirabahr attack? Uh-oh...

These couple chapters were SO awesome! I can't wait for the next one! Way to go, SK!
