Okay, GG said I could do this in between her Serious Story Contests, which I totally and completely thank her for, but they won't be monthly. The rules are as follows:
From now until Feb. 22, I'll be looking around the Epics forum, trying to find some really good authors. Now, with 3,000 BZPower members, how can I see everyone? The answer is simple: post here, and I will make sure that I scout you. There will only be 10 finalists. In addition to those 10 finalists, I pick 4 honorable mentions. Those honorable mentions become the judges. I will only pick people with complete stories as finalists, but if your story is incomplete, it will be considered for honorable mention. Judges cannot judge in any way based on any feelings on any members, and judge on a scale of 1 to 20. Each judge will be assigned a number, which will be kept completely ananymous. The finalists will turn 1 and only 1 story to me to be judged, unless it is a sequal, in which case send me that linkb too and the judges will read them, but not rate anything but the sequal.. The juges will read them and return their scores to me no later than March 2. I will average them out and post the standings on March 3. There are no prizes, unless I can get someone to do sig banners or something.

Lewanut, you can do either. And I may have to find a new judge, because Kuni might not want to do it. And burningFlameSword, you need to be ready for some good stories, because they're coming your way!

EDIT: Kuni's doing judging, thankfully. Also, you do not have to do this if you were invited, although it is an honor!!! And if someone could notify HauNuva that he's a finalist, that'd be great. Whoa, whoa. H12 and Comet Ball Traitor, I'm sorry, but you are too late. The finalists and judges have been chosen already. I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait until next time, which there will be. But until next time... Schizo Kaita and Kaiapu, your stories have been added ( I'm assuming Kaiapu wants Seekers of the Vahi, since that's his only Epic ). Makuta Master, only completed works can be added, so you'd probably enter Mata Haru.

Hey, thanks for putting me in! I didn't even know about this until you PMed me. I'm really grateful that you noticed my humble story, especially since the first book is a little depresssing, to set the scene for the other two.
So, do we get 'finalist' banners or something? Or is that only for the final awards? Or, do the mods not want any banners at all? Either way, I don't really care, I'm just happy I got in the final ten.
I don't mean to be a spoilsport, but since Kaiapu already won a contest, maybe if (when) he gets first you should put in another first-place finisher, someone who's never done a contest.

Anyway, my vote (not that I have one) is for Simbera or KopakaX.

Good, I'll enter TTC 1. since it's the only one that is finished. Re writing is still going on, so it could be that some chapters change.

burningFlameSword, why did you think you weren't a judge? Once you're a judge, you stay a judge unless you don't want to be a judge. And people, it's too late to enter this contest. I've already decided finalists and judges. But the next one should be after the next serious story contest. No promises.

I realize that Pangu hasn't posted since Jan. I will give him one more day and then I will be forced to move on. And Dark Force X, I couldn't have put it better myself.
EDIT: I regret to announce that Pangu and Minaku, Master of Dusk (origionally Kuni) have pulled out due to being overloaded. But we must move on, due to time. The stories will be sent out now to the judges.
