Yup. Just one. Great job. Sounds a lot like mine, but a whole lot better. . Oh well, I guess I'll get better. My epic is the first one that I've ever done, so I'm not good at enthallling an audiance like you are. *Realizes that he has been getting very hot, and quickly lowers his temperature.*

Another GG original Epic! Great work! You must have put a lot of work into this...

I like how you put elements the MNOLG, the Comics, and your other stories into your stories.

I would assume a time comes for every lover of Gali (or F.riend O.f G.ali) To write of Tahu. Strange thing isn't it? And to think I began my first epic with the Toa of Fire adds to the mystery. Great job GaliGee! As soon as I read the first line of your story, my desk began to shake from the explosion of Tahu's canister! (Guess it's your turn to mess with the furniture in our homes). I'm having a hard time keeping up with your epics though, how do you keep up with mod duty and those fresh Ideas you keep coming up with?

Wow. GaliGee, I am a big fan of your stories, and this is no exception! You fitted every aspect of Tahu's personality in the story. Will you have that "over the edge scene" from Gali's Heart in this new story? It would be interesting to see Tahu's view.

Jasaga, I think that may be because Tahu is a F.O.G. himself, at least in my stories. And of course Tahu's story had to start with an explosion!

tahuden & PN, thanks. Chapter 2 is a ways off, though. There will only be 4 chapters in this epic, but as you may have noticed, they are looooooong.

TotS, glad you liked it. Tahu's personality is going to develop a bit more as time goes on. He THINKS he's the Master of Fire, but he really isn't yet. And yes, the over-the-edge Gali scene will be in this story, too. As you may expect, it will be quite different from Tahu's point of view!

Another great epic by GaliGee! I love how your description fits everything perfectly. I also love the way you tell little stories to the side...Kapura fell in lava? You'd think he'd be too busy "practicing" to do that. Great work, GG, and keep it up!

That was such a powerful beginning! The imagery is just fantastic, and the way you write these characters so well is just astounding. (Nobody writes Tahu as well as you do.) Is this a sort of story regarding the beginning of the saga, but entirely from Tahu's P.O.V? (I personally like the explanation for Kapura no longer lava surfing...poor little guy.) Whatever the plot is though, I'm completely hooked. You've outdone yourself again!

PF, my theory (at least in this story) is that Kapura stopped lava surfing after he got burned (literally), and THEN he started practicing his new skill of relocating himself. Anyone got a better word for that?

NN, thanks! Tahu is challenging for me to write, since he's so different from Gali, who's the Toa most like me. But I have fun putting myself inside his transparent red brain, and imagining the life of a firebrand. This story is pretty much what you said, a recap of the saga up to the Nuva transformation from Tahu's P.O.V., but there is also a major theme to it. While my Onua epic was about service to others, and Gali's was about the true meaning of love, Tahu's will be about self-control.

I've been waiting for this, if it's not a comedie it's an epic.
I like the way how you describe the ways how he learns more about his destiny. How you tell how Tahu slowly realyzes that he loves Gali and the meeting scene.
However I miss a little part, do you remember the MNOLG in the beginning? when the lave path isn't melted yet Takua sees Tahu there. It can be that it was skipped later on.
Anyway, keep on the great work GG! i hope to see a next chapter soon

You've gotta just love it when you see that GG has written another epic And I can tell this one's gonna be good. Tahu fans will flood into this one! Er, not that I'm a Tahu fan, er, but not that I don't like Tahu uh, Help!

So anyways, I'm just a little curious. Was the bird a Taku, one of those things that pecks at Onua's canister before it opens, or something else? I just can't get it out of my mind, I felt sorry for it. I can see that Tahu acts before he thiks, or did he hit the bird on accident?

no, no better word. I never put much thought to it.. I hope ta-korans can take lava. otherwise, kapura does'nt have a leg... (shutter.) and that's why you did it so well, GG. you where..expanding your limets. it works, you know!

Recent stuidies and observations bring me to the conclusion that GaliGee is not a human, but in fact, some sort of super-author, with the ability to write some of the greatest stories known to man, and drive people to the brink of insanity while they eagerly await the next promising chapter. 'Nuff said.

wow...another GG origional. i kept my eye on this website for a while before i joined yesterday and my fav. stories were always urs! i like the way u tie all your stories together and have them fit the origional storyline. can't wait 'till the next chapter!!!

OK, folks, Chapter 2 is up. Slight change of plan, it'll be FIVE chapters instead of four. I wrote up half of my ideas for Ch. 2, and it was as long as Ch. 1, which is already too long...

Teleportation! Thanks, Tf. That's the word I needed. An epic for each Toa? Hmm... I am kinda headed that way. And KX is onto me, I'm not human.

tr, as you will see in Ch. 2, Ta-Koronans don't lose parts if they get in the lava, but it is AWFULLY painful. Even for Tahu. At least, in my imagination. Maybe that would be a good question for GregF.

Tovnu, I felt bad for the bird, too. (I guess that's what kind it was, thanks!) That's why I made it live. I don't have the heart to kill anything in my stories. Tahu was just using it for target practice, but then he had a pang of regret. Since he's a born hero, he has built-in compassion for the innocent.

Takea, thanks! You know where this is headed since you read "Gali's Heart." I don't remember the part of the MNOLG you are referring to. Can you describe it more, please?

Edit: Tf, that's funny. Actually, sometimes I do have a song in my head while I write. If Gali's song is "Healing Waters" (Michelle Tumes), which is slow and lovely and has lots of keyboards and string arrangements and a mellifluous female voice... Tahu's is "Consuming Fire" (Third Day), which is loud and powerful, with of electric guitars and a really strong male vocal. It rocks!

well we all know that she's a Gali look-alike don't we? she's more bionicle than human.

brilliant chapter GG. you are the best writer on BZP. that was an amazing chapter, it really shows how impulsive Tahu can be, and how important it is that the toa have the turaga's guidance. (a lot of this was proven in Gali's Heart as well I felt)

anyway, my master shall be pleased with this. now Tahu's possible weakness has been exploited, maybe he can think up a plan to remove him. MWAHAHAHAHA!

another great chapter! you really get the views of the toa really well. i can imagine tahu getting into trouble like with the lava cause of his..well...what's the word? rashness? maybe... *goes to get a thesaurous* this could take a while

Yeh, I came to the Bionicle webside when it had just begun. In that time there was only the MNOLG. anyway, as normal you began on the beach, the feetmarks were there and if you followed them you came on a place were a Lava stream that had cut of the way to Ta koro. So you were stuck on the beach and only could look around there a little, even maku wasn't there then.
When you came at the lave stream you saw at the other side tahu, only a dark shadow first. His head turns around and he looks at Takua for one moment, then he turns and walks away.
That's all for what I can tell, I looked at it again and noticed that the scene was disappeared.

Tf, I just read your story, and I like it. Funny song choices, too...

PN, they can't help it, Tahu & Kopaka are just so different, yet so alike, that they grate on each other. The fourth chapter of this epic is going to deal with that in great detail.

GNS, yep, that's the whole point of the lava-surfing scene. (Also to set up a concept for a later chapter.) He's so confident that he gets himself into trouble, and he has to learn when to be careful. And then the same thing happens with Gali, he could probably have persuaded her to work with him (and had a good excuse to be close to her), except that he went too far and scared her. She actually likes him, but she doesn't want him TOO close. And now he has to start all over to regain her trust.

H12, I like writing about the lava because it's so fascinating. I've never really been surfing though, so I hope the details are OK! I was really excited to see the MoL trailer, it looks like there's going to be a lot of lava surfing in it.

dk, I think the Turaga have a very special role keeping their Toa grounded in reality, as well as providing guidance with prophesy and history. The Toa are by nature really energetic and passionate, but they haven't been around long enough to have any social skills. Uh, oh, maybe I've revealed too much about Tahu's weakness! But Makuta probably already knew that... Tahu's not very subtle.

KfT, glad you like it. I'm working on chapter 3 now, it'll have some recycled bits from Onua's and Gali's epics, and one really cool new scene with Lewa.

It's an awsome story so far. I like how you weave the story in with the official one nicely.

I only have one 'negative comment' and It seems like at the beginning, that the Tohunga and such, are so familiar with him, like they've seen him before. But don't take it the wrong way. Because I love my proto!

And it's quite Lengthy, and I love Lengthy stories.

You aren't alone on that last one, GaliGee.

Anyways, Chapter 2 was great! And Chapter 1 was far from too long. A chapter can be as long as an average epic! The longer, the more time I'm enjoying it!

Careful DK. I don't want to have to freeze you, then melt you, then freeze you. Also, GG, when is the next chapter going to be up? And why in the world do we have so many minions of Makuta. If you've seen the story of the Comet ball traitor, well, things didn't work out so well, if you know what I mean.

If you gave that in for a essay you would pass with flying colors GG!
