Hi! This is going to be my first story on BZPower, so please reply in my reply topic if you like it, and even if you don't like. Ok well you go.

Gali woke up with a start. She had it again, a strange reaccuring dream. Actually it wasn't much of a dream, it had no picture, she could only hear things. Things like terrified screams and shouts of matoran. Gali sighed. She didn't know if the dream was a vision, a warning, or just an ordinary nightmare. She had been having this dream every night for two weeks now, and was worried because it sounded like people were dying."I hope not," muttered Gali.

Suddenly Maku burst into the room."Gali, Nokama has sent me to tell you to report to her hut immediatly," the little matoran said breathlessly. As Gali got out of her bed and started walking to Nokama's hut, she thouhgt "I hope Nokama doesn't want me to climb the Kau Kau Nuva waterfall to filter out the water again." thought Gali. "Hights freak me out." But as Nokama started talking to Gali, she realized that it was much more important. "Gali, our astroleger has seen something new in the stars. We don't know what it is yet, but it looks bad. Vakama and Tahu already know, and Tahu has called a toa meeting at the Ta-Wahi beach."I guess I should go then" replied Gali. As Gali was about to step out of the turaga's hut, Nokama stopped her. "You had the dream again, didn't you?" "Yes, and I have a feeling that my dream and this new prophesy seen in the stars are somehow linked. I want you to be careful, ok?" "Of course Gali," Nokama replied.

As Gali swam, she could see that she was getting closer to the beach. As she stepped out of the water, she saw that all the other toa were already there waiting for her. "Now that everyone is here we can begin." started Tahu. "As you all know, the astroledgre of Ga-Koro has seen something bad in the stars, but is not sure what it is yet. So, I suggest that everyone should stay in their villages, and be on guard. This may be serious, so no goofing off." As he said the last two words he looked at Lewa. "What?" the geen toa asked innocently. " You know what he is talking ab..." Onua did not get to finish his sentence, for he was cut off by Kapura running towards them shouting "Alert, Alert!" " What's wrong Kapura?" asked Tahu. "Jaller has been attacked by something in the charred forest! I must tell Turega Vakama imediatly!" As Kapura ran off to inform Vakama, the toa ran into the charred forest. When they found Jaller, he was sitting on the ground with 3 other guards with him. "What happened?" asked Tahu. "He was attacked!" said one of the gaurds. "Duh" lewa muttered. "What attacked you?" asked Kopaka. "I-I don't know," answered a still shaken Jaller. "It stayed in the shadows. It just came out of nowhere and it-it bit me then left!" "We can take care of this, all of you toa should leave and go to your villages." The toa tured around and saw Vakama, then did what he said.

As Lewa and Pohatu were walking with Gali to Ga-Koro, Lewa said "Can you believe what happened? Why would something just jump down and bite him?" "Dunno. Maybe it wanted to see how he tasted" answered Pohatu. "If it wants to taste something, then it'll taste the cold, hard metal of my katana while I'm kicking it's butt!" When Lewa said this, Gali had to laugh, but soon stopped when they got over the hill, because what she saw before her was no laughing matter.

Soooo, how do you like it so far?

Ok Here's the next chapter.

Gali looked in utter horror. The village huts were destroyed, some lily-pads had sunk to the depths of the sea. Some small, blue dead bodies lay on the few lily-pads that were still afloat. No living creature was to be seen except for the three toa standing on that hill. Gali dropped to her knees. How did this happen? She had told Nokama to be careful, had she even heard? "Gali..." Pohatu didn't know what to tell her. 'Who did this?' Gali asked herself in her thoughts. 'I was just at a toa meeting that didn't even take that long, but then...' "Oh my gosh," Gali said quietly. "It was a distraction. The thing that attacked Jaller must have attacked him to keep me from my village longer. Or maybe not just me. Maybe both of you too. You should go to your villages and see if theyr'e alright." "No, we can't just leave you," Lewa told her. "I'll go and see if Po and Le-koro are alright. I'll be back in a flash." With that Pohatu was only a blurr in the distance.

After Lewa helped Gali up, they walked into what was once the beautiful village of Ga-Koro. "Well, I don't see Nokama, and there is only a few bodies here. Maybe the rest of the village got out." Lewa tied to cheer Gali up, but she didn't think that's what happened. They could of gotton out, or theyr'e bodies sunk in the ocean, or they were captured." Gali said sadly. A brown blur appeared, and materialized into Pohatu. "Nope. Le and Po-Koro are alright. I even checked the rest of the villages and nothing has happened there either," informed Pohatu. "Why would they only attack attack here?" pondered Lewa. "Is there something here that's not in the other villages?" The two other toa both looked at Gali for an answer. "I-I don't know." Gali was on the verge of tears, but held them back. The blue toa dug deeper into her mind to find the answer.'Anything important? Well, there was that new prophesy that said something bad will happen. This is bad. But that can't be it. Why would they only attack us? Because...' Gali said her next thoughts out loud."We're the one's who found it!" "Found what?" interupted Lewa. Pohatu elbowed him in the stomach to get him to shut up. "We found the prophesy," continued Gali. "Our astrologer found out that something bad would happen.They must have attacked here so we couldn't find out more.!" "I guess they don't want us to find out who they are yet," said Pohatu. "Well, whoever 'they' are will be dissapointed because I'm not going to rest until I foung them!" said a determined Gali. "I'm with you. We should inform the other toa." Said Lewa. "I'm staying here to look for clues, or any survivers." Gali told them.

As the other toa left, Gali looked around at her torn up village hopelessly. "I guess I should start in the water, to see if there are any bodies down there." Gali dived into the water to see that there was more bodies, but only 3, and still no Nokama. As Gali surfaced, she almost gave up on her missing villagers and Nokama, when she remembered that there was an underwater cave that the village usually evacuated to when there was a big storm. It was deep underwater though, and the villagers would need to have air bladders to get there. So she walked over to Okath's store, which surpisingly wasn't that damaged, too look inside and see if there was any air bladders missing. As she entered the hut, she saw that there wasn't an air bladder to be found. 'Maybe they got out of the village in time. Maybe theyr'e okay!' All these thoughts got Gali excited. She ran out of the hut, and dived into the water. She was headed for that evacuation cave.

I know so far it's kinda boring, but it should get better later on.

As Gali got closer to the cave, she started thinking.

'What if theyr'e not there? What will I do? I'd be the only toa without a village. I would go crazy without them! No Nokama to keep me busy with errands and help me out on problems. No Maku or Kotu to entertain me and make me laugh. No young matoran to tell my adventures to. No life. If I don't have a village, there's really no reason to be a toa. I can't protect anyone. I could help the other toa once in a while, but what about when they don't need help? I have to stop thinking these things. They can still be alive in the cave, safe and unharmed!'

As she stepped into the cave and started walking up the stairs, the water level receded, and she didn't need to use her mask anymore. Finally, her foot touched the last step, and she was at the top. As soon as she got to the top, all her missing villagers ran over to her, smiling and talking all at once. "Hold on, hold on. Let me speak to Nokama." Right when she mentioned that name, all the smiles faded, and some matoran started to cry. "She's gone," Maku stated. "They took her and the astologer." "Who took them?" asked a confused Gali. "Those monsters that call themselves Kota!" Hahli cried out. "Kota? How did they look?" Maku was the first to answer Gali's question. "They looked like you and the other toa, only different." "They have a small mark on the palm of their hand that strange powers come out of. You must be careful, because we thought the girl was you, until she started destroying the village." "I have to tell the other toa," said Gali to no one in particular. "What about us?"Asked Shasa. "Your right, you can't just stay down here, but you can't stay in what is left of Ga-Koro. I guess I have to split you all up and send you to other villages until we defeat these 'Kota'. Gali repied. Ooh, Ooh, can I go to Po-Koro, please? PLEASE? Maku asked, jumping up and down. "We'll see" chuckled Gali.

*Later: All the toa are standing on the Ga-Wahi beach while the Ga-Korians are trying to find their stuff in what used to be Ga-Koro.*

"Sure Gali, Turaga Onewa would be happy to house and feed some of you village for a while." Pohatu said. All the other toa agreed that they can take some Ga-Korians in their villages as well. So Gali split up the survivers of Ga-Koro, and sent them all to different villages with that village's toa escorting them. Gali decided to go with Kopaka to Ko-Koro since he ended up with the largest group of Ga-Korians to stay in his village.

They had been walking for a while now in silence, listening to the Ga-Korins behind them talk endlessly of what they want to do while in Ko-Koro.

"You're unusually quiet Gali. What are you thinking about?" "I don't know where these Kota are, or when they are going to strike. I don't know how strong they are, or how they fight. I don't even know where Nokama is!" Gali replied."I know some of the answers are there somewhere in my mind, but it's like there is a heavy fog blocking it." Kopaka thought for a moment, then said, "To clear the fog in your mind, you must relax and stay determined. Gather all the information around you, and put the pieces of the puzzle together. Then the fog will clear."

Gali looked at him in wonder.'He sounds so smart, but I don't quite understand.'

As if Kopaka heard her thoughts, he explained. "I remember when we faced Makuta for the first time, I had something like what I just said in mind. I stayed determined, and relaxed when that little matoran came before us. I took in all the information around us, like the manas, the spinning parts in the air, the infection sained body that the matoran had, the fact that we were in Makuta's lair, and the fact that Makuta had the ability to shape-shift, and realized that it was a trick. The 'fog' lifted, and I realized Makuta was trying to decieve us." "Thank you Kopaka. I'll remember what you said." promised Gali, as they arrived at Ko-Koro.

Dang, writing two chapters in one day is hard to do. Thank you Kohrok and Hafu for replying. I hope everyone liked this chapter.If so, reply in the review topic.

Ok, here's the next chapter, and I think it's a little longer then the rest. So here goes.

First Encounter

It had been a long day, and Gali was sitting in one of the vacant huts in Ko-Koro. She had been trying to think of clues as to where the kota were keeping their hostages, like Kopaka suggested, but there just wasn't information yet.

As the blue toa sat on her bed, becoming more bored by the second, she realized that she needed someone to talk to. She slowly got off the bed, and walked outside, then headed towards the Sanctum.

'It looks like I'm in a ghost town. There is no one in sight.'

When Gali got inside the great temple, she saw that there was only a couple of matoran inside, and of course, Nuju. Gali walked over to a small Ko-Korian with a white huna.

"Hello. What are you reading?" Gali asked, hoping to strike up a conversation. The matoran didn't reply, so Gali tried again.

"Do you come here often?" He still didn't reply, just looked up at her, then continued his reading. 'Okay...it's just like when I first met Kopaka. I guess Ko-Korians aren't big talkers, much unlike Ga-Korians.'

Gali walked over to Nuju hoping he would talk to her. "Hello Turaga Nuju." Gali greeted. Nuju looked at her. "Squeek whisle squeek chirp chirp."

'Oh yeah,I forgot Nuju talks differently, and I don't see Matoro anywhere.' Gali thought to herself. It seemed that Kopaka was the only one Gali could talk to in this village.

"Do you know where Kopaka is?" She asked the turaga. "Chirp whistle squeek Squeek" 'Gali, you can't understand him, so stop asking him things!' the blue toa scolded herself in her thoughts. She heard a sigh, then a "squeek" and looked down to see Nuju pointing to a tunnel entrance. "He went out there?" asked Gali. Nuju nodded.

As Gali was walking into the tunnel that Nuju directed her to, she was thinking of how much she wished she could talk to Nokama. She always talked to Nokama at times like these, they were pretty much best friends. But since Nokama wasn't here, she had to find someone else to talk to. When the tunnel ended, she found herself in the snowdrifts of Ko-Wahi.

'Oh great. I'll never find him out here.'

But as she turned to go back into the tunnel, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. It started running, and Gali was curious to see what it was, so she followed it. It lead her into a cave.

"where did it go?" Gali asked herself. Then, as if answering her, she heard a growl. As it stepped into the light, she gasped. This creature walked on 4 legs, and had 3 lethal looking claws in each paw. It's eyes were like that of an eagle's. It's 2 front teeth stuck out like a sabor-tooth tiger's, and each were about a foot in length. All along it's back there were huge spikes that jutted out of it's spinal cord.

What amazed Gali the most was it's tail. The tail itself was only about 4 feet long, but what was at the end of the tail was what Gali was looking at the most. There, attached to the tip of the tail was a beautiful glass orb. Within the crb there was a petite snowflake, but then the snowflake dissappeared, and it was replaced by a small flickering flame. The animal suddenly opened it's mouth, and shot a series of flames at Gali.

Gali ran out of the cave as fast as her now mildly burnt legs could carry her. When she didn't feel the flames anymore, she turned around to see the animal standing not too far fromher. She knew she should of kept running, but this creature seemed too much of a threat to let go, and she was curious of what else it would do.

She stared at the beautiful orb as it's contents turned from flames, back to a snowflake. As soon as the creature opened it's mouth, she turned, and started running. The creature let out a long, bloodcurdling howl, and a blizzard began pushing Gali back. It pushed her further from the safty of the sanctum, and closer to that beast.

'Ive got to try harder against this blizzard. I can prevail against this creature and it's strange power!'

Gali's thoughts were cut short as she felt the animal sink it's long fangs intoher leg. The blizzard stopped when she fell down, the soft snow breaking her fall. She turned onto her back just as the creature lunged at her, landing hard on her stomach, knocking the air out of her. As the beast tried to bite her throat, Gali gabbed it's two huge teeth, and began to push it's head away.

The strange creature was stronger then her, and it's teeth were getting closer to her neck, so close, she could feel it's cold breath. The wounded toa put all her strength into her arms, and slowly began pushing the teeth away from her neck.

The creature realized that he couldn't bite the toa to knock her out, so he decided to use a different method. Gali couldn't see it, but the mysterious orb on the creature's tail glowed, and inside the snowflake was replaced by 2 or 3 small electric bolts bouncing off the insides of the orb. The creature felt his body powering up, so he trasferred electric shocks into his teeth, where Gali's hands were. The shocks entered Gali's body, and she soon fell unconsious. The creature began to carefully drag the poor toa to a near-by cave.

Ok, I decided to put up the next chapter, so here it is!

Captured

Two eyes fluttered open. As Gali tried to sit up, she cried out in pain. Her whole body ached, and her lrg burned so bad, she didn't want to look at it. But she gave in and turned around to look at how bad the damage was. When she saw her leg, she was confused. Was that... her leg? It looked... different. She looked at her hands, they were different too.

"Confused?" Gali looked up. There was a woman standing there, and the creature was beside her. The woman gestured towards the creature. "When Tezz here bit you, he made you human. It's not fair for us if we're against someone who has metal for skin. We can wound you, but it's so much easier for you to tear through our flesh, so we had to even the odds. Now that we have you, we can lead the other toa to come to us. Then we can banish you all from existance. After you are gone, well, then your little island will see true fear."

"Who are you?" Gali asked.

"I am Thais, the leader of the kota." She tucked some of her long brown hair behind her ear, then walked out of the jail-like prison Gali was in, and locked the gate.

"Yadira!" at Thais' call, a young woman walked in. She had shoulder legth, wavy red hair, and sparkling green eyes.

"Yes, you're majesty?" She asked sarcastically.

Thais' hazle eyes narrowed. "It's time. Lead the toa here, so that they can meet their fate."

"Finally, some fun!" Yadira said excitedly. Suddenly, a bright light surrounded Yadira. It was so bright, Gali had to shut her eyes, and when she opened them, she gasped. Yadira had transformed into Gali Nuva! "This'll be easy," she said as she left.

"The other toa won't fall for it,"Gali told Thais.

"Are you saying they're smarter then your villagers? Those poor little blue robotic people couldn't figure it out, and they had paid for their mistake. Besides, Yadira knows exactly what you would say or do in almost any situation, so the others wouldn't know the difference between you and her. Well, I have to go get ready for their arrival," Thais said almost cheerfully.

As she and Tezz left the dungeon, Gali looked around. In a dark coner, she could hardly see the small blue heap on the ground. "Nokama!" Gali scrambled over to her turaga, and started shaking her to wake her up.Finally, Nokama awoke.

"Where is the astrologer?" Gali asked. "I don't know. They took her into a different room." Nokama answered weakly. "We have to get out of here. I must get to the other toa before Yadira does, and warn them." Gali said. "You wouldn't be able to, even if you got out," Nokama said sadly. "Why not?" asked Gali. Nokama pointed to a small puddle of water on the ground.

Gali walked over to the puddle, and looked at the stranger staring back at her in the puddle. Nokama was right. Gali looked nothing like she did before. She had blond hair that graced her back, eyes as blue as the pureist water, and she had light tan flesh. She was wearing a blue tank top that was to small to cover all of her stomach,and there was a golden necklace with a cross that lay around her neck. On her hips she had a long silver silk skirt that had a tear on the right side, so it revealed her long beautiful legs. If Gali tried to warn the other toa that Yadira wasn't her, they obviously not believe her because Yadira looked like the Gali they always see, even though the young blond was the Gali they always knew. But still, she had to get out and warn them, or they would get captured. She had to try.

Gali looked at the locked gate. She already knew how she would get out of the cave. There was a small hole by the top of the cave that led out into the snowdrifts. If she had still been in Nuva form, she would have been too big to fit through the hole. But now that she was a human, and was thinner, her and Nokama could definatly squeeze through. Inorder to do all that, she had to unlock the gate first.

Gali looked around for something that could maybe saw through the gate bars, but couldn't find anything. Then she remembered her necklace. She looked at the cross hanging on her chain. 'Maybe I could... yes, that just might work!'

Gali walked up to the gate, and took off her necklace. She stuck the bottom of the cross into the lock, and carefully started to turn it.

'Please, please Great Beings let this work!'

A small 'click' let her know she was successful. She opened the gate, and her and Nokama sqeezed through the small hole in the wall. As soon as Gali got outside, a cold blast of wind made her shiver, and the snow was beginning to make her bare human feet numb, but she didn't care. At least she was out of that stuffy cave!

When her and Nokama were about to walk away, they stopped when they heard a low voice say "And just where do you think you're going?"

Cliffhanger!

K, here's the next chapter! I can't think of a chapter title right now.

They both turned around. Before them stood a young man, about Gali's age. He was tall, with spiked brown hair, and lovely dark blue eyes. He wore a black T-shirt, with baggy tan pants that had a bunch of pockets.

"Run Nokama. Run to Ko-Koro. I can handle this." Nokama did as Gali said, and ran. The young man didn't move.

"My name is Komata. My orders were to make sure no important prisoners escape. I never disobey orders."

Gali looked around for something to attack him with. She spotted a spear laying in the snow. She grabbed it and charged him. When she was close, Komata attempted to grab her spear, but she flipped right over him, and cut his arm with her spear.

His wound was deep, and was bleeding heavily, but he just slowly turned around to face the young woman.

"You better watch out 'cause next time I'll cut it clean off," Gali told him, rather mockingly.

He simply smiled. Then he stood perfectly still, and closed his eyes as if in deep meditation. Gali watched in amazement as the blood coming from his wound dried up. Then it began to crack, and then broke into little peices, and were carried off by the wind, revealing that the wound was gone. He had rehealed himself!

Gali wanted to wipe that smirk off his face, so she ran foward and began slashing at him furiously. She stood back and watched as all the wounds healed the same as before. This time Gali noticed that when he called upon his power, the strange symbol on his hand glowed.

'That must be where his power lies. There's no way I can defeat him right now if he keeps rehealing like that.' Gali thought to herself. 'I don't even have a real weapon right now. I'm going to need more help if I want to defeat him. I better just get outta here right now.'

So, Gali threw her spear at him, and ran as fast as she could. Of course that wasn't that fast because her leg was wounded. She could here Komata's footsteps getting closer. She didn't know what to do, so she yelled for help. "Kopaka!"

~~~~
Kopaka was following 'Gali' to a cave she said she had found, when he heard the scream.
"That sounded like Gali!" Kopaka said as he stopped.
"But I'm Gali, Kopaka!" Yadira or 'Gali' said.
"Whoever it was, they're in trouble, and it is my duty to help them." said Kopaka as he started running in the direction the scream came from.
"Kopaka! No, Stop! Wait!" Yadira tried to stop him, but couldn't.She gave out a loud whistle. Soon, Tezz ran up to her. "Tezz, come with me, but stay hidden. Maybe I can straighten things out." Yadira told him. "If anything goes wrong, you know what to do." With that, Yadira ran after Kopaka, still disguised as Gali Nuva. Tezz followed.
~~~~

Gali collapsed on the cold snow. She could no longer stand. Komata walked up to her, not even out of breath.

"You shouldn't of ran. Now we have to walk farther to get back to the cave. And I'm not carrying you." He told her calmly.

Just as Gali was about to give up, she saw a white figuer running towards her. 'Yes! Kopaka heard me!' Gali thought with excitment. A little waze behind him, she saw a blue figure that she knew was Yadira.

As they approached, Kopaka looked confused. What's going on here? Who are you guys?"

"They're the kota!" Yadira or 'Gali' said.

'No! No Kopaka! I'm Gali! She's one of them!" Gali pointed an accusing finger at Yadira. "She can change her appearance and voice! She was going to lead you to a cave, and capture you!"

"She's lying. How can you trust someone you've never even seen before?" 'Gali' said calmly.

It was true, Kopaka had never even seen something that looked like the wounded woman in the snow, or the man standing beside her. But still, how did the woman know that Gali was taking him to a cave? How did she know his name, and why did she call it? It sounded like she was hurt, and sure enough, she was. Did that man wound her? If she was on his side, why would he? Something about this woman DID remind him of Gali. Something was wrong here.

Yadira watched as Kopaka looked from her to the real Gali. She knew she didn't have one-hundred percent of his trust anymore, but she could still win. If she went and attacked Komata, that would prove that she was really Gali, because if she was a kota, why would she attack her own teamate? Yadira wouldn't kill him, just wound him, and when they would continue on their way to the cave, Kopaka would think she had left him there to die. Then when they were out of sight, he would just simply reheal himself. She was about to do just that, when Gali said something that would have to make Yadira go with plan B.

"Kopaka, remember when you told me that you relized Makuta was trying to deceive us? That's what she's trying to do! You have to believe me!"

'Now how the heck does this woman know I said that to Gali?' He asked himself. 'She has to be telling the truth! How else does she know all this?'

Kopaka turned to 'Gali'.

"It's true. You're not Gali."

Yadira simply looked at him, as Tezz leaped towards the white toa. Kopaka was pushed to the ground by Tezz's huge paws.

"Kopaka, don't let him bite you!" But Gali's warning came too late, as Tezz sunk his teeth into Kopaka's left shoulder. Kopaka punched Tezz in the face to get him off. Tezz imediatly let go, and backed up. Kopaka didn't say anything. He just simply laid his head down, and passed out from shock.

Yadira walked towards Komata, and transformed back into her real appearance in the process.

"We're going to have to drag them back to base." she told him.

But Gali knew they wouldn't be able to, for in the distance she saw the whole Ko-Korian army approaching with Nuju and Nokama leading them.

Oh, I'm sooooo tired. I hope that chapter was good!

Here's the next chapter. I annoyingly can't think of a chapter title 4 this 1 either.

Komata saw them approaching, and calmly said to Yadira, "We have company."

Yadira turned around. "Oh no, this is not good."

"Don't worry, You, Tezz, and I can easily defeat them." Komata said reassuringly.

"Yes, I know that, but we have orders that specifically say not to hurt any more matoran. Only to capture the toa." Yadira explained.

"Well, then we have no choice but to retreat." Komata replied smoothly.

"But we have 2 toa! We can't just let them go!" Yadira ran over to the unconious Kopaka, and began to drag him. "You get Gali! Come on, we have to hurry!" Yadira said. The army were starting to throw their disks now.

"Yadira." Komata was standing right beside her now. "Leave them. We have to go."

"No! We can at least get one of them to base!" Yadira said, still trying to pull the white toa. A disk barly missed her head. Komata stopped arguing with her and grabbed her hand. He started running, pulling her with him. Tezz followed closley behind.

Gali watched them leave, and was relieved. 'We're safe.' was Gali's last thought, as she passed out from too much loss of blood.

~~~~
"Gali." At the sound of Nokama's voice, Gali opened her eyes. She saw Nokama beside her. "Gali! You're awake! Don't worry, you'll be okay. We stopped the bleeding. You'll recover soon."
"Thanks, Nokama. Where's Kopaka?" Gali asked weakly.
"He'll be okay too. We stopped the bleeding on his arm, but Tezz's strange poisen transformed him. He's now human. He's in the next hut, if you want to talk to him."
As Gali got up, she put pressure on her leg.
'It doesn't feel that bad.' Gali thought to herself.
She made her way to the hut Kopaka was in, and leaned on the doorway. Kopaka was sitting up in his bed,and his eyes were closed. Gali looked him over. He was now very good looking, in her opinion. His hair was such a light blond, it was almost white. His arms were somewhat muscular, and his skin was so pale, she had almost mistaken it for snow. When he opened his eyes and looked at her, she almost gasped. His eyes were such a gorgeous blue, and when he looked at her, it felt as if he could see right through her.
"I'm sorry it took so long for me to believe you," he said.
"It's okay. You were just being cautious. And besides, we're safe, arn't we?" She went and sat beside his bed.
"So, tell me how you got in that mess in the first place," he said with a smile on his face.
~~~~

"WHAT?!" Thais slapped Yadira so hard, Yadira stumbled back a couple of steps. She put her hand up to her face, and gingerly rubbed her cheek where Thais had hit her. She looked back up at Thais again.

"Thais..."

"No! Don't even make exuses! You had 2 toa, and you just let them go?! You know they're still a threat, right?!" Thais was yelling when Komata stepped in front of Yadira, and his calm voice interuppted her.

"Thais, it's not Yadira's fault. The Ko-Korian army was coming, and she tied to bring the toa back, but I made her come with me back to the cave, emty handed." His voice did not quaver, for he was not afraid of Thais. Some said he wasn't afraid of anything, and for this, Thais had great respect for him."If you must strike someone, it should be me, for it was my fault."

"No, I don't need to." Thais replied.

'Of course not.' Thought Yadira. Yadira always thought that Thais loved Komata, but never said anything.

"I guess it's a good thing you retreated." Thais continued. "Otherwise, someone could of been injured, either one of you, or one of the matoran. And a matoran had been hurt, I would really be mad. The less matoran on this island, the less good this island will be when we defeat the toa."

"Excuse us Thais."

Thais turned around to see Kalama and Harka. They were brothers that did not get along very well. They were also twins, but did not look like it.

Kalama wore blue jeans and a black shirt. He had brown eyes and red hair. He was the smart twin, and always fought stratigicly.Harka, on the other hand, fought on instinct, and never thought things out. He also did not look anything like Kalama. Harka always wore purple shorts, and a green shirt. His hair was black, and his eyes were a darker brown.

"We've spotted three toa heading towards Ko-Koro. One is black, one is red, and one is green." Harka said.

"Don't you know they're names? We had spent an hour being taught about them and they're fighting styles, and you don't even know they're names?" Kalama asked, obviously annoyed.

"Well, maybe Thais doesn't know they're names, so this way she knows what we are talking about." Harka said, trying to outsmart his brother.

"You fool! She's the one who taught us about them, so of course she knows they're names!" Kalama told his brother impatianatly.

"Well don't yell at me! I forgot!" Harka shouted at Kalama.

"Well, you sure are forgetting a lot of things lately. I hope you don't forget how to fight when we actually NEED you!" Kalama shouted back.

Harka pushed Kalama, then Kalama punched Harka. Then they were at each other's throats. Yadira and Komata looked at each other, shaking their heads dissaprovingly.

"Enough!" Thais' hand symbol began to glow, and a tiny glowing ball appeared in her hand. She tossed it in the middle of the fighting men, and it gave out a tiny explosion, making the 2 back away from each other.

"Take Tezz, and attack the three toa. Make sure Tezz bites them all. If you two fail, the punishment will be catostrophic." Thais said threateningly.

~~~~
Harka and Kalama were lying in wait with Tezz as the toa were making their way towards them.
"Ya ready Tezz?" Harka asked.
Tezz gave a low growl, never taking his eyes off his prey. When they were close enough, Tezz attacked. Harka jumped up too, and began running at the toa when Kalama grabbed his arm, and held him back.
"You bafoon! WE"RE not sopossed to attack! We're only here to make sure Tezz bites them all!" Kalama told Harka, as he slapped him in the back of the head.
"Hey! Don't hit me!" Harka said as he punched Kalama in the stomach. They were at each other's throats again.
Meanwhile:
Tezz had just bitten Lewa right in the neck, and now Lewa was on the icy ground, out cold.
"Lewa!" Onua shouted as he ran to his fallen friend. Tezz jumped at Onua, but was knocked away by Tahu's flying kick. The animal landed on the ground, but quickly got up and shook itself. Then he ran at Tahu. Tahu acctivated his hau, but Tezz jumped right over him, and landed right by Onua. Onua turned just in time to see Tezz's teeth sink into his heel. Onua cried out in pain. Tahu quickly jumped at Tezz, and tackled him to the ground. They struggled with each other for a while, but then Tahu gave out a yell as his hand was bit by Tezz. Tahu instinctivly ignited his fire sword, and set Tezz on fire.
The poor animal was howling in pain, and rolling all over the snow, trying to put out the fire that was quickly spreading down his back.
The two brothers stopped fighting when they heard a howl of pure agony.They both looked and saw Tahu standing over Tezz with his fire sword about to come down on Tezz, who had finally extinguished the fire.
Kalama's hand symbol glowed, and he dissapeared, and reappeared right in front of Tahu.
"Hello." He said as he punched Tahu in the stomach, makeing him drop his sword.
"Tahu, we have to get Lewa to a hospital! Somethings happening to him!" Said Onua, still holding his injured heel.
The red toa made a grab for his sword, but this time Harka's hand symbol glowed, and Tahu's sword floated into the air, out of Tahu's reach.
Tahu looked at Harka, then at Kalama, and said,"I'll be seeing you guys again, and I promise, you next time we will be sucessful. Then he turned and ran with Onua beside him, and the unconsious Lewa on Onua's strong shoulder.
Kalama picked up the badly burned Tezz, and walked towards Harka. "We'de better get back. Thais will want to know we were sucessful." He said to his brother.
"But, what will we tell her when she asks about what happened to Tezz?" Harka asked, hopeing Kalama had a good answer.
"She doen't have to know about this. We will just have to convince Komata to bail us out with his healing powers this one time."
"This one time? Ha! More like this hundredth time!" replied Harka.
Kalama rolled his light brown eyes at his brother's remark, as they headed towards their lair.
Whew, that was a long chapter!
Ok, here's the next chapter.
The Search For Pohatu
Kopaka and Gali were still talking when they heard comotion going on outside. They both went outside the small hut to see the two turaga, and some matoran all gathered around Tahu, Onua, and Lewa. They were all injured and bleeding, but Lewa looked the worse. He was now consious, and was being placed on a stretcher. He was moaning in pain, and every time he tried to reach his hand up to the wound in his neck, Tahu would slap it back down. Lewa didn't look like he always did, for he was only halfway through the transformation. He now had skin, but it was still a pale green. He didn't have any hair yet, and most of his body still looked mechanical.
Onua and Tahu hadn't begun to transform yet, but Gali could tell they were going to soon. The black and red toa were both put in one hut, while the doctors tried to find a cure so that they could save Tahu and Onua from transforming. Gali knew they wouldn't be able to though.
Gali ran up to Nokama and asked, "May I go visit Lewa?"
"No. I'm sorry Gali. Lewa is in serious pain, and the doctors are trying to make him feel more at ease as he changes. I'm afraid that all their attempts are not working." Nokama replied.
"Well, maybe I can calm him down, and keep him company." Gali said hopefully.
"I'm sorry. You know I would let you, but Nuju doesn't think it's a good idea to bother him right now."
"Hey, has any of you heard from Pohatu yet?" Kopkaka asked.
"No, we havn't," replied Nokama.
"Oh no." muttered Gali."Pohatu is somewhere by himself, and the kota are most likely trying to find him because he hasn't been bitten yet. I have to go make sure he's alright!" Gali said to no one in particular. She ran up to the gates, but was stopped by 4 guards.
"Excuse me." Gali said politly, as she tried to go around the gaurds. But they wouldn't let her.
"I'm sorry toa Gali, but we have strict orders not to let anyone in or out of the village." said a gaurd with a gray rau.
"But what if Pohatu comes up to the gates injured, and needs to go to the hospital?" Gali asked.
"We still can't let him in. He could be Pohatu, or he could be a kota in disquise." replied another gaurd with a white Miru.
Gali knew they wouldn't let her leave, so she turned around, and stormed off to the hut that she was staying in, and threw herself on the bed.
Kopaka quietly walked into her hut."I'm sure he'll be okay." Kopaka told her reassuringly." He's a smart guy. He'll know what to do if ther's trouble."
"No Kopaka. The kota are strong. If Tezz and one or more kota ambush him, he's a goner. I know he's in trouble because his village isn't that far from here, so he should of been here already." Gali said in a quite voice.
"Well maybe..." Kopaka was cut short.
"Kopaka, I want to be alone right now." Gali said sternly.
Kopaka looked hurt. "Okay. I'll be in my hut if you need me." He gave her one last worried look, then walked out of the hut.
'I'm going to have to look for Pohatu tonight when the whole village is asleep.' Gali thought to herself.'I only hope I won't be too late.'
~~~~

"Ah, c'mon Komata! Thais is gonna kill us! And look at him, he's suffering!" Harka had been begging Komata for at least 30 minuetes now.

"You should have been watching instead of fighting each other." Komata said.

"Komata," Kalama reasoned. "We'll be in debt to you. Whenever you want us to do something for you, we'll do it. No questions asked."

"Yeah! We'll do ANYTHING!" Harka agreed.

"Fine." Komata gave in. He knelt down beside the animal, and his hand symbol began to glow. He put his hands on Tezz, and Tezz's burns and scratches began to fade, and then were no more.

Tezz sat up, and began licking Komata's hand as if saying 'Thank you.'

"Oh no." sighed Harka. "Here comes NoRUDE."

Actually, his name was Noru, but all the kota (exept for Thais) called him NoRUDE, because he was indeed, rude. It seemed like he had a reason to hate all of them. He was always making mean remarks to or about them, even Thais. Of course he didn't say anything about Thais in her face, only behind her back.

All the other kota (exluding Thais) hated his power too. He had the power to do things to your mind. He could either just talk to you in your mind, make you see images that wern't there, or make an annoying high pitched noise that only you could hear, and it would eventually drive you crazy.

"Okay, Thais wants me, Tezz, and Kalama to go find the last toa that hasn't been bit or whatever. So, let's go." Noru said.

Everybody gave Kalama a sympethetic look that meant they felt sorry for him.

~

As they were walking, Kalama finally broke the silence.

"So, do you know where we are going?"

"Listen, me not talking was a sign that I don't want to talk to you, so shut up." Noru snapped.

Kalama opened his mouth in shock.

"Excuse me, but I was just asking a question!If I don't know where we are going, and you don't know where we are going, then we would have a problem. I just need you to answer my question, that way I know that I'm not wasting my time walking around, okay?!" Kalama told him angrily.

"Of course I know where we are going! I HAVE to know because I knew there was no way you would know where we are going!" Noru yelled.

Kalama couldn't believe it. He got along with Harka better then he got along with this guy! HARKA! His annoying twin brother! Kalama wanted to punch Noru so bad, but refrained himself. He could see that even Tezz wanted to set this guy straight. But they both let it go, and continued walking to wherever Noru was leading them.

~~~~
Gali looked out of her hut. Yup, everone was sleeoing except for the guards. Gali tried to activate her huna, but realized that she couldn't summon masks as a human.
'Great' Gali thought. 'Now I'll have to do it the hard way.'
Gali snuck out of her hut, keeping in the shadows. When she got to the guards, she had almost slipped past them when one called out "HALT!" They had spotted her, and were now blocking the exit.
'No! I need to get to Pohatu, and I don't want to hurt them!' Gali thought to herself. 'Kopaka, forgive me for this.'
Gali shot a jet of water at two guards, knocking them off their feet. Then she carefully struck the back of the other two guard's necks, knocking them out.
The two guards that had been knocked down by Gali's powerful water blast, were now on their feet shouting "ALERT!ALERT!"
Gali knew she didn't have much time, so she made a run for it. She grabbed a wide wood plank laying on the ground, and sat on it. Then she pushed herself down a snowy hill.
'Now they won't catch me' Gali thought, as she picked up speed going down the vertical slope.
Finally, she came to a stop. She got up, and started walking on the path that Pohatu would take to get to Ko-Koro. She walked until her bare feet were standing on Po-Wahi sand. She couldn't see much because it was dark, so she decided to get a better veiw. The young blond spotted a high cliff, and began to climb it. The rough rocks cut her delecate hands and tender feet, but she kept climbing until she was at the top.
She stood on the very edge of the cliff, with the gentle desert breeze making her skirt flap behind her legs, and gently blowing her hair to the side. She scanned over the beautiful night desert, looking for any sign of Pohatu. Then, in the far distance, she saw something walking. She could barley see movement, but something was there. She guessed it was Pohatu making his way towards Ko-Koro. So she climbed down the cliff, sliding on her butt most of the way down, and started running towards where she saw the movement.
When she got close enough, she saw there was three figures, not one, and none of them were Pohatu. She quickly ducked behind a large rock, so she wouldn't be seen. As the three came closer, she could hear what they were talking about.
"I still think we should of brought him with us, and gave him to Thais." one voice said.
"He insulted me, so we got him good, and now we're going to leave him in the desert. And he can't do anything about it but die." said a more threatening voice.
"Yeah but..." The first voice started to say something, but the second voice cut him off.
"Just shut up already!"
Then she heard an annoyed growl, and realized it was Tezz, and the other two voices had to be kota, and they were most likely talking about Pohatu!
As soon as the three enemies were out of sight, Gali got out from behind the rock, and ran in the direction the kota were coming from, looking for Pohatu.
Finally, she found him laying on the desert ground, and she wished she hadn't found him, for it was not a pretty sight.
K, if ur reading this, please review in my review topic, Thanks! I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter!
A Day In Po-Koro
Gali stood there dumbfounded, as she looked at Pohatu laying on the ground. They hed to have done this to him a while ago because he was already human, but Gali could barly see him because his whole body was caked in blood. He laid in a wierd position. His back was laying on his left arm, and his right arm rested on the ground above his head. He had brown hair, with bangs that almost covered his eyes. His legs were what made up most of his hieght, and he had big feet too. Gali could tell that his shirt was sopposed to be tan, but it was now red with his blood. There was a tear in the shirt across his chest, where most of the blood was coming from.
Gali looked down sadly. If only she had gotton out of Ko-Koro sooner, then she could have prevented this. Then Pohatu would be alright. She realized that she didn't even know if Pohatu was still alive, so she bent down, and put her head on his chest. She heard a faint heartbeat that sounded like a battery dying out. She had to get him help, but she was out in the middle of the desert. It would take till morning to get him to a village, and by then she knew he would be dead. It was so late at night, and she was getting tired, but she forced herself to stay awake to find a way she could help her friend.
Gali shot a blast of water in the air, hoping someone would see it and come help. She didn't know what else to do, so she did it again. Then she sprayed herself to keep from falling asleep.
Finally, she saw small figures running towards her. She saw Huki, Turaga Onewa, and Hafu approach.
Huki and Hafu only gasped.
"Go get the medical doctors!" Onewa told Hafu and Huki. "They're going to have to help him out here, so we do not waste time traveling to the village."
Turaga Onewa noticed Gali trying to stay awake, so as the doctors approached, he walked her back to the village of Po-Koro.
"I am sorry Gali, we do not have any vacent huts, so you can stay in mine." He helped her lay down on his bed, and as soon as her head hit the pillow, she was asleep.
~~~~

Gali woke up from movement on her bed. She opened her eyes to see Pohatu sitting at the foot of her bed. He looked brand new. He wore a different tan shirt, his hair was nicly combed, and his soft brown eyes relaxed Gali. Now that he wasn't covered in blood, Gali could see that he had a very nice tan.

"Hi there. I hope I didn't wake you up." He said softly.

"No, you didn't." Gali lied.

"Turaga Onewa told me everything he knew. It seems to me that I owe you my life." He told her.

"Well, I'm just glad that you're okay." Gali didn't know what else to say.

"Hey, there's a practice Kohlii match going on outside. If you want to, we can go watch it." Pohatu said with a smile.

Gali let out a small laugh. It seemed like Pohatu could never get too far from the Kohlii subject.
"Sure," she replied.

Pohatu helped her out of bed, and they walked outside and sat in the stands.

It was a nice sunny day with a gentle breeze that felt refreshing. After a while, Huki called up to the two toa.

"C'mon, you guys can join in!"

Pohatu looked at Gali for an answer.

"Um... I don;t know. I never played befor, and I'm probley not very good." She explained.

"Well, then we'll teach you." Pohatu said, as he grabbed her hand and pulled her down to the arena befor she could respond.

At first, it had been Huki against Hafu, but now it was the two toa against the two matoran.

"Hey, you're holding the kohlii stick upside down." Pohatu had an amused smile on his face.

"Oh. I knew that." Gali said as she turned the stick the right way.

The kohlii game was fun, and Gali found out that she was actually pretty good at it. The match had ended in a tie, 10 to 10.

As noon came, all the Po-Korians started going into their huts for their daily naps. A messenger had come earlier to inform Pohatu and Gali that they were to meet the other toa at the little oasis in the desert, so they were headed there now.

Gali was starting to perspire, so as soon as she saw the palm trees of the oasis, she ran towards it, and headed over to the lake in the middle of the beautiful oaisis. Gali didn't even slow down, she just dived right in without making a splash.

'How does she do that?' Pohatu asked himself as he sat on the soft grass by the lake, and watched as Gali popped her head up from the water.

"Come on in Pohatu! You'll like it! It's a relief from all this heat!"

"Nah. I'll just sit here and look for the other toa. I'm not into that whole 'getting wet' thing." He told her with a smile.

Gali playfully splashed some water at him, and ducked back into the water as he threw a hand full of dirt at her. She walked out of the lake, and stood beside Pohatu, purposely dripping water on his brown hair, then sat down next to him. She picked up a flat stone, and threw it making it bounce across the water's surface. Soon Pohatu joined in, and they had a rock skipping contest, while they waited for the other toa to arrive.

~~~~
"Thais, we have gotton word that all of the toa are going to meet at the Po-Wahi oasis." Yadira informed their leader.
"Well, we're going to have to take advantage of that. As soon as they are all there, we'll have to crash their little party." Thais replied.
"Yah, now that they're all human, it shouldn't be too hard to defeat them." Kalama said. "I'm going after Tahu."
"Hey! I am going after Tahu!" Harka said.
"Sorry, I called it first." Kalama replied, looking at his brother with a smile.
"I don't care if you called it first! Tahu's mine!" Harka went up and tried to punch Kalama, but Kalama doged it, and Harka found himself in a headlock by his brother.
"There they go again." Yadira sighed.
"I don't care who you guys take on, as long as I get Gali." And with that, Thais turned around and left.
Okay, I know it's not much, but it seems so long when you're typing it. Hope you enjoy!
Here's the next chapter. Sorry it took so long. I was typing it, and my computer froze, and I had to reboot it. Then it deleted the whole chapter, so I had to type it all over again.
Gali sighed as she saw the other toa appraoching. They were all human now. Lewa had light brown hair and light green eyes. Onua had thick black hair, with emerald dark green eyes. As Gali looked at Tahu, she saw that he had red hair, and his crimson eyes were filled with anger. Pohatu got up to meet them halfway, and Gali reluctantly followed him.
"Gali, how could you do that to 4 inhabitants of the island that you are sopposed to protect?" Tahu asked angrily.
"I needed to get out and help Pohatu, and they wouldn't let me." Gali replied.
"They were just doing their job!" Tahu shouted.
"I know, and I'm sorry. I just had a feeling that Pohatu was in trouble, and I had to try and help him." Gali said, glancing at Pohatu for help.
"It's true, If it wern't for her, I would be dead right now." Pohatu gestured towards Gali.
"I'm not talking to you! I'm talking to her!" Tahu shouted at Pohatu. Pohatu looked at him in shock.
Kopaka put a hand on Tahu's shoulder. "The villagers are fine. Why are you so mad Tahu?" Kopaka asked him.
"I.. I don't know. I guess the kota are just getting me steamed up." Tahu replied, looking down at his feet.
"So, why were we called to this meeting?" Pohatu asked, obviously forgiving Tahu for snapping at him.
"Oh, right. I called this meeting to discuss the search for the kota." Tahu announced.
"Well, we didn't have to search long," Lewa said, looking over Tahu's shoulder.
The other toa turned around to see all the kota and Tezz standing on a sand dune, with their weapons out and ready.
"Toa, it is time to meet your doom." Thais said coldly.
"We'll see about that," muttered Tahu.
The toa charged at the kota, with Tahu leading. Gali headed straight for Thais, kicking up hot sand on the way. Thais calmly took out two silver foot-long knives, and held them in each hand. All the toa were weaponless, but Gali knew they could still win if they fought stratigically.
Gali grabbed Thais' wrists to keep the kota from stabbing her. Thais was stronger, so Gali knew she had to think of something else. Gali put her feet behind Thais's legs, and pushed her, making the kota trip and fall on the ground. Gali tried to get both of Thais's knives, but could only get a hold of one when Thais slashed Gali's left arm.
Gali backed up, and looked at her wound. Thais quickly got up and gave a flying kick to the young blond's stomach before she even knew what was going on.
Gali flew back and landed hard on the sun baked sand, the impact knocking the air out of her. As she tried to regain her breath, Thais stepped foward. Still trying to gasp for air, Gali skooted back using her elbows and feet. Thais continued to step foward threateningly. As Gali finally got her breath back, she remembered that in her right hand she still clutched one of Thais's knives. As Thais jumped at Gali, Gali threw the knife at the attacking kota, and rolled out of the way. She sat up, and looked at Thais. The kota was breathing heavily, and laying on her side, her back turned towards Gali. As Thais rolled onto her back, she was holding her stomach, with the knife still halfway inside her body. There was blood all over the ground, and it flowed onto the ground. Gali could hear a faint sizzling as the blood hit the hot sand.
"It is over, demon." She told Thais.
"I don't think so," Thais replied, as she gave out a weak whistle.
Gali looked ahead, and saw Onua, who was struggling with Tezz, and an injured Harka laying on the ground laughing. When Tezz heard the whistle, he looked up and saw Thais laying on the ground, and narrowed his eyes at Gali. He leaped off of Onua, and ran towards her. Onua, who was now free from Tezz, got up and smiled at Harka, who was still laying on the ground due to an injured leg.
"Uh, Onua? Let's be friends!" Harka's sad excuse to get Onua to leave him alone didn't work, as Onua leaped onto Harka, and they began battleling again.
Gali didn't know what to do. She knew she wouldn't be able to outrun Tezz, and she was once again weaponless. As Tezz sprinted towards her, Gali shut her eyes and got ready for the impact, but it never came. Gali opened her eyes to see Kopaka holding Tezz off. As Kopaka and Tezz began battling, and kicking up dust, Gali looked around to see how the other toa were doing.
She spotted Yadira and Lewa. It looked to her like Lewa had taken one of Yadira's 2 swords, and they were engaged in a serious sword battle. Lewa had more scratches and cuts, but Gali could tell Yadira was slowing down, while Lewa looked nowhere close to tired. Finally Lewa's energeticness had come in handy.
Gali moved her eyes to Pohatu and Komata. Pohatu was delivering heavy blow after heavt blow, but Komata kept rehealing, then punching Pohatu when he was trying to catch his breath. Because of Komata's rehealing power, Pohatu was losing.
The young blond turned her head to see Tahu and Kalama both fighting fiercly. They were both equally hurt because they were equally matched. Whenever Tahu would punch Kalama, Kalama would take it, then puch Tahu back. A little waze from where they were fighting layed Noru. He was surrounded in a pool of his own blood, and Gali couldn't even tell if Kopaka had killed him, or just left him there to help her since Noru was obviously not consious.
Gali focused on the fight taking place in front of her between Kopaka and Tezz. Tezz was standing on top of Kopaka, trying to claw his face. Kopaka placed his feet on the animal's stomach, and kicked Tezz off of him. Tezz landed near Thais, almost hiitng her. Gali looked at Thais, and for a moment she could feel the pain thet Thais was going through. Gali could tell that Thais wanted to retreat, but didn't have enough strength to give out the command, so a weak whistle escaped her lips instead. Tezz heard the whistle, and understood what Thais wanted. So he gave out a long, horrible, high-pitched howl that made Kopaka and Gali both cover their ears. All the kota stopped in their tracks. Acknowledging the command, they began to retreat. Kalama ran over to Thais, grabbed her hand, and teleported bothof them to their lair.
Harka reluctantly ran over to Noru, and picked him up with his mind. Then he began to run with the unconsious Noru hovering in front of him. Gali sat in the burning sand, watching watching the kota's figures dissapear behind the sand dunes.
Kopaka helped her up, and they looked around at the other toa. Tahu had many bruses, but seemed okay. Onua and Lewa were pretty injured, but acted like they were fine. Gali looked around for Pohatu, and saw him slowly limping towards them. She ran over and cought him befor he had a chance to fall. He put his arm around Gali's neck for support, as they walked back over to the other toa.
"We did good, but next time I can almost garenee you, they will be stronger." Tahu said.
"It was almost as if they were learning what my favorite moves are." Lewa said, mostly to himself." Everytime I did a move on Yadira, it was like she memorized it or something because whenever I tried that move again, she would block it perfectly."
"Yes. They also have a backup plan. When I had Harka cornered, and I was about to finish him, he called Tezz over to attack me." Onua explained.
"These koya are very strong and smart. If we want to do better next time, we have to train and work harder, or else next time we may fall." Kopaka warned.
"Ya, well we would really be able to kick the kota's butts if we had our own weapons, and we didn't have to jack theirs from them." Lewa said.
Pohatu gave out a low moan.
"We have to get him medical help. Komata really messed him up." As Gali said this, images of when Pohatu was laying on the groung last night came back to her. She quickly shook them out of her head as Kopaka came to help her with Pohatu.
"Lewa, when we have time, and Pohatu gets better, we can go get some weapons for next time we encounter the kota." Tahu told Lewa.
A smile spread across Lewa's face as the toa headed in the direction of Po-Koro.
So, how did you like this chapter? Please review in the review topic. I'll try to get a link up in a moment.
Hiya! I don't know if this chapter will be all that good 2 u peoples, 'cuz it's kinda short. Tell me what u think of it, kay?
Meeting Elrond
Gali sat on a high cliff overlooking Po-Koro, with her legs dangling off the edge. She watched all the Po matoran go about their daily buissness. Onua, Lewa, and Tahu had gone to Onu-Koro to get weapons. Kopaka and Gali had decided to stay in Po-Koro and wait for Pohatu to get better, then get their weapons with him.
"Pohatu says he's alright now, and he's getting ready to go."
Kopaka's voice surprised Gali. She didn't even hear him approach.
She turned to face him.
"He's better already? That was fast."
"Well, he still has a limp, but he refuses to stay and rest in his hut. He says he doesn't want to be a burden, and be the only reason that we're not getting our weapons right away like the others." Kopaka said, looking out over the vast desert. "He's most likely ready now. We should go."
"Okay." was Gali's response as she stood up.
As they walked back down to the village, they saw that Pohatu was waiting for them.
"Ya ready?" He asked.
Kopaka nodded.
"K then. Let's go." Pohatu said, as they started walking out of the gates of Po-Koro.
Gali noticed Pohatu DID have a bad limp, and she really wanted him to rest more, but she knew he would just deny it. "I can handle it" he would say, or "Oh this is nothing. Don't worry 'bout it." Pohatu was a nice guy, but he needed to think ahead. What if they ran into the kota again? Pohatu would definatly be in no shape to fight.
Gali hoped they wouldn't run into the kota so soon. That Tezz was a problem. If it wasn't for Kopaka, Gali would surely have been killed. Gali looked up at Kopaka. Even though the white toa was quiet, and kept to himself, Gali knew he cared for the other toa and her. That's why he helped them; actually, come to think of it, he only helped her. Kopaka felt Gali's stare and glanced her way. Then he looked back up ahead, and walked a little faster.
'I'll never figure him out.' Gali thought to herself.
As the three toa approached Onu-Koro, they saw the other toa come out of the tunnel exit. Onua, Tahu, Lewa, and... someone else. As they got closer, Lewa started talking rapidly.
"Look, isn't it so tight?!" Lewa took out his new weapon. It was a boomerang of some sort. It was made of protodermis, and had sharp spikes all around it other then in the middle where your hand was meant to go. "I wanted to get something new. It's made from the finest protodermis, and is unbreakable!"
"They have a great selection in there." said Tahu. "But still, I wanted to stick to the traditional sword." He took out a sword made of marble. It was a beautiful sword that had small jewels on the handle, and the marble shined and glittered in the sunlight.
"I don't need a weapon." explained Onua. "I'd rather Harka suffer from my own hands."
Lewa smiled and shook his head, and Onua smiled back at him.
"Who's this?" Kopaka asked, looking at the new stranger.
"Oh. Turaga Whenua said that the prophesies had told of a new toa, and this is him." Onua explained.
"Hello. Pleasure to meet you all. My name is Elrond" the stranger said.
Elrond had spiked blue hair, and blood red eyes. He was wearing blue jeans, and a white T-Shirt. In his hand he held a magnificent bow, and he had a quiver of arrows strapped on his back.
Gali was confused. Why would the Great Beings send another toa? The kota didn't seem THAT hard. Pohatu must have been thinking the same thing, for he called a 'toa huddle.' Elrond seemed to know that they wanted to talk of his arrival in privacy, so he walked over to a rock near the Onu-Koro entrance, and sat down.
"What's going on here?" Pohatu started. "Do the Great Beings think that the six of us can't handle the kota alone, so they send another toa?"
"We can definatly handle the kota, but he can prove useful." started Tahu.
"Yes. Remember how Tezz is a big problem? He can take care of Tezz while we fight the kota with no interference." Kopaka finished Tahu's sentence.
Tahu glared at him before muttering "Exactly" quietly.
They were right, Gali knew. But since when did the Great Beings send another toa for something as small as that? Tezz WAS a problem, but they could defeat him AND the kota, they just needed another shot. Sending another toa was unessessery. Unless...yes. Maybe this toa had a bigger purpose that they didn't know about yet. That had to be it!
Gali's thoughts were interrupted by Tahu.
"It's settled then. Elrond will be a part of our team. But keep in mind that he may be lying about his identity. We should be careful."
As the toa finished their meeting, they walked over to Elrond.
"Welcome to the team!" Pohatu smiled broadly, and stuck out his hand. Elrond shook it.
"I'm Pohatu, toa of..."
"stone" Elrond finished. "I know who you all are. I mean, you're famous throughout Mata-Nui. How can I not?"
Gali could tell Lewa liked Elrond already.
"You bet we're famous! Almost as famous as Mata-Nui himself!" Lewa said enthusiastically.
Elrond gave Lewa a smile, and chuckled lightly.
'Yup. Thay're most likely going to become best friends.' Gali thought to herself with a smile.
"We better get going. Gali, Kopaka, and Poahtu still need to get their weapons." Onua pointed out.
All 7 toa walked into the dark entrance of Onu-Koro, Lewa talking to Elrond excitedly, and Elrond listening to him politely.
Okay, I'm done. Tell me what ya think in the review topic. I'll try to get a link up in a sec.
Ok, here's the next chap. This one should be much better then the previous one.
Lava Break
"Komata..." Thais was lying on the cold hard ground of their lair. She was having a hard time breathing.
"I don't think I can heal her with that knife still enlodged in her stomach." Komata told the other kota.
"Well then take it out!" Yadira yelled. As much as Yadira hated Thais, she didn't want her to die. Thais was their leader, and a very good one at that. Without her, they wouldn't exactly know what to do, and it would be total chaos for them.
Komata looked at Yadira in disbelief. He didn't want to take it out. He was afraid if he took it out wrong, it would mess up one of Thais' internal organs, and she would die without giving him a chance to reheal her. Then he would be responsible for her death.
"Komata...help me," Thais said in a quite whisper.
"Komata do something! Don't just stand there like an cool dude! You don't want to be like Harka!" Kalama shouted.
Ordinarly, Harka would have done something to make Kalama take it back, but the situation at hand was too dire for their sibling rivalry. So he just ignored it.
Komata looked at the other kota, then down into Thais' pleading eyes. Her long aburn hair was caked with blood, and there wasn't a spot on her hands that wasn't red. Thais' usually confidant face now looked like that of a helpless child's.
Komata slowly bent down beside her. He gently rested his hands on the handle of the knife, and heard Tezz whimper softly somewhere behind him. He took a deep breath, then quickly pulled the weapon from her body. Thais gave out a long shrill scream that echoed throughout every one of the passagways in that underground lair.
~~~~

The toa had finally gotton to Onu-Koro. Onua showed Kopaka, Gali, and Pohatu to the rather large hut that sold weapons. All the other toa entered the hut, but before Gali did, she saw something shine out of the corner of her eye. She turned her head, and walked over to where she saw it. She stopped at a small stream of water running through the middle of the underground city. There, in the water, was a small aqua marine pole, about 2 feet in length. Gali bent down and reached into the cold pure water, and picked up the mysterious object. The young blond examined it curiously. She saw tiny engraved words that said 'Aquapol'. She ran her fingers gently over the 'Aquapol'. It's circular surface was smooth to the touch but she felt her thumb go over a small bump. She saw that this 'bump' was actually a button. Curious of what the button would do, she held the pole away from her and pushed it. Two more feet shot out of both sides of the Aquapol in a quick movement. Now it was 6 feet long, a foot bigger then Gali was. The part where Gali's hand was holding on to was still cylinder and smooth, but the sides that had just come out were sharp, and looked like swords. The tip of each side ended in lethal looking spears.

Gali was amazed. This was the perfect weapon for her! She pressed the button and both sword-like sides quickly went back into the middle part that Gali's hand was holding, and it was just an ordinary two-foot pole again.

Gali turned around and saw the other toa coming out of the weapon hut. Gali strode over to them, her hand clutching her Aquapol at her side.

"Where were you Gali?" asked Elrond, concerned.

"Oh me? I just found something over there." She pointed to the small stream, and held up her finding. Then she pressed the button, and showed the other toa her most precious possession.

"Wow. That's nice," Pohatu said.

"It's called an Aquapol." Gali informed them. "What did you get?"

Pohatu took out a whip and whipped it against the ground, makeing a loud "snap" noise. It was made of fine black leather, and had small shards of glass jutting out of it. Gali could tell by Pohatu's choice of a weapon that he really wanted to pay back Komata.

"How 'bout you Kopaka?" She asked, as she again pressed the button to make her Aquapol smaller, and started making a strap so she could put it on her back.

Kopaka took out two sterling silver double-bladed swords.

"I just had to have these." Kopaka said.

"They're really nice." replied Gali, preoccupied. She had finally strapped the Aquapol to her back when an Onu-Korian matoran came running up to them.

"Toa! There has been an accident in the lightstone mine. One of the pipes broke, and lava has almost filled the in the room. The problem is, there is a young minor trapped on the other side! When the room fills up completly, he will die!" The matoran said, out of breath.

The toa all looked at each other for a moment.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" said Onua as they all ran towards the lightstone mine.

When they entered the mine, the intense heat hit Gali in the face like a hammer. She was instintly sweating, and it was hard for her to breath. She spotted the matoran on the other side; the lava had surrounded the small peice of land he was standing on.

"Gali, try to harden the lava with water!" Tahu shouted.

Gali nodded and obediantly sprayed water over the lava. As soon as the water hit the lava, the water sizzled and evaporated. Kopaka tried to put a thick coat of ice over it, but the ice instintly melted and evaporated.

"The lava is just too hot!" Onua said, shaking his head sadly.

"I could of flown over there with my miru, but it won't activate anymore." Lewa said.

Gali walked up to the edge of the lava. It bubbled and squirted some of the hot lava dangerously close to her, but she ignored it. She had an idea of how to get over there, but it would be risky. She slowly backed up, and took the Aquapol of her back. Her finger felt around for the button, and she softly pushed it. The young blond ran forward suddenly, stuck one spear-like end of the Aquapol into the ground, and pole-volted over to the other side. Her heels landed on the ground on the other side right in front of the lava.

"Wow." Gasped the Onu-Korian minor.

Gali picked the minor up, and placed him on her back.

"Don't let go, okay?" She said.

"Believe me toa Gali, I won't!" The minor replied.

Gali turned around to find that the lava had consumed all of the land except for the small peice she was standing on. Now she couldn't have a running start to pole-volt, and she would never make it.

"Oh great." she muttered.

The young blond looked over at the toa on the other side for help. They looked back at her, not knowing what to do. The lava was slowly consuming the small peice of land that was left. She was trapped, with the frightened minor on her back.

Cliffhanger!!
I hope that chap was good enough.
It took me forever to type it!!

Ok, I guess it's time to put up another chapter cuz I havn't in a while. So, here it is:

It was so hot, Gali could barley think straight. She could hear the terrified minor mumbling prayers to the Great Beings.

"Oh my gosh, what are we gonna do? She's going to die over there!" Lewa said, fearful for Gali's life.

"I have an idea." Started Elrond." I'm going to need some strong rope."

Onua ran out of the mine, then came back with some long rope, and handed it to Elrond.

"Onua, tie one end to that rock right there." Elrond pointed to a large boulder on the ground.

Onua did what he commanded, and Elrond tied the other end of the rope onto an arrow. Then he placed the arrow in his bow, and shot it across the room. The arrow flew into the wall behind Gali. Gali knew what he wanted her to do, and tugged on the rope to make sure it was secure. It was. She pressed the button on the Aquapol, and placed the middle on the rope, then placed her hands on both sides of the Aquapol. She gave a push off of the ground that was left, and slid down the rope holding tightly to her Aquapol. She finally got to the other side, and let the minor off her back.

"Wow, that was quick thinking Elrond!" Gali told him.

"Yeah, I would have never thought of that!" exclaimed Lewa.

All the toa started to congradulate Elrond, but Tahu stood back.

"Tahu, don't you have anything to say to Elrond?" Onua asked.

Everyone looked at Tahu for an answer.

"Good work." Tahu said sarcastically, and walked out of the room.

Elrond looked at the other toa in confusment.

"Don't worry. He's just jealous." Gali told him reassuringly, as they all walked out of the scorching hot mine.

~~~~
Later that day, nobody could find Tahu.
"What if the kota got him?" Lewa asked.
"I don't think he would be foolish enough to leave by himself." Gali reasoned.
Kopaka let out a half laugh. "Gali, are we talking about the same Tahu here?" He questioned.
"Kopaka, I know that sometimes his anger and pride get the best of him, but he wouldn't do something like this. Not when there is danger." Gali said.
"It's all my fault. I got him mad." Elrond said sadly. "If anything happens to him, I'm to blame."
"Elrond no! It's not your fault! Tahu wasn't going to do anything to help me, so you had to take action. Tahu just gets angry really quickly. He'll get over it." Gali reassured.
"I'll go look for him" Lewa volunteered.
"Okay, but be careful. I don't want to have to bail you out of trouble again." Onua said with a smile.
Lewa glared at him playfully, then walked away to begin searching for their red-haired friend.
~~~~

Gali was walking in the South Wing Tunnels, searching for any sign that Tahu had been there recently. So far, there wasn't much luck.

'I hope Lewa will be okay.' Gali thought to herself. 'He is constantly getting into trouble. I hope this time is an acception.'

Suddenly, she saw movement in the tunnel at her left. She quickly started to follow it, and saw that it was Tahu.

"Tahu!"

He turned around. When he saw that it was her, he continued walking. Gali had to run to catch up to him.

"Tahu, what is your problem?" Gali demanded.

Tahu looked at her, and continued walking. Gali grabbed his arm and turned him around to face her.

"Answer me Tahu! Are you mad because Elrond was the hero today instead of you? Just because you're the leader doesn't mean you have to be the best and smartest out there! It's all right to not know what to do sometimes. It happens to all of us. It's perfectly normal." Gali's voice had softened a little.

Tahu sighed. "I don't trust Elrond. His presence doesn't make sense. We don't need him here."

"Well maybe he's here for a very important reason, that reason just hasn't made itself clear yet." Gali said.

Tahu put his hands on Gali's shoulders.

"I don't think that the reason he is here is good. I think he's one of the kota."

"Tahu! He saved my life! If he was truely working for the kota like you suggest, then why didn't he just stand there and watch me die? If I died, then that would be one less toa that they have to worry about!"

"Maybe he's trying to earn our trust." Tahu said thoughtfully.

Gali shook her head softly. "Tahu, he's just trying to help us. Why can't you accept that?

Gali pulled away from Tahu's hands and walked further down the dark tunnel.

"Gali... I'm sorry. I just have a bad feeling, that's all. I guess you are right. What I did today... I won't ever do it again. But I still don't trust him. I'll be friendly, but I don't want to be anywhere alone with him, Ok?"

Gali stopped and waited for him to catch up, then said "Fair enough, Tahu."

The two toa made their way back to Onu-Koro.

~~~~
Komata walked out of Thais' room, and toward the other kota.
"How is she?" Yadira asked him.
"I'm just fine." Thais answered, stepping out of her room.
"We've gotton word that Lewa is walking by himself near the jungle. I request permission to go and banish him from existance." Noru said.
"No, I want Yadira to go and handle Lewa. From here on, any toa that are foolish enough to venture out on their own will be...taken care of." With that, Thais went back into her room.
"Why does she send a girl to kill a man? Girls can't fight." Noru said to no one in particular.
"Thais is a girl, and she can fight." Yadira pointed out.
"Yeah, and she got pulverized by a toa." Noru said.
"So did you!" Yadira smirked, for Noru had no comeback for this remark; he just scowled and left the room.
"Nice one." Komata comlemented. They smiled at each other, then Komata left the room. Kalama and Harka exited also, pushing and shoving each other on thier way out. Yadira gathered her weapons, and left the lair to go after Lewa.
~~~~

Lewa was walking through the dense jungle. Normally, he would have been swinging on the vines of the trees, but it was much too difficult without his Miru, and his hands were sweaty. This human body sorta annoyed him because it always sweated too much from the humitity of the jungle air. But still he liked it. He liked his soft skin and he loved how he could mess around with his hair and put it in different styles. Thinking of his hair, he started combing through it with his hand, as he continued to search for Tahu in the dense jungle.

Yadira silently watched him from high up in a tree.

'Just like an ordanary human guy.' Yadira thought to herself, chuckling.

She didn't really want to attack him. Lewa seemed like a nice and fun loving guy. But she knew if she didn't, there would be consequences when she got back. And if she ran away, Thais would send the other kota after her to kill her, and have some prize so that way they would want to do it. So she had to do this. She silently jumped from tree to tree to keep up with Lewa.

"Hmm, I don't think he's here. I guess I'll have to go back."

But as Lewa turned around, he saw Yadira standing a few feet in front of him.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that...alive." She said coldly.

~~~~
Tahu and Gali were just walking into Onu-Koro when Elrond jogged up to them.
"Elrond..." Tahu started. "I wanted to talk to you."
Elrond hesitated for a moment, then said "What is it Tahu?"
Tahu shifted his weight uneasily, then scratched the back of his head.
"Um... you see... how I treated you was unacceptable. And I'm sorry. You did a very smart thing today in that mine, and I should thatnk you for saving Gali and one of Onua's villagers. So... thank you."
"Thanks... but you don't need to say that just because Gali told you to." Elrond replied, looking down at his feet.
"No, I mean it. You're an alright guy, and I'm glad to have you on our team." Tahu patted Elrond on the back. "Anytime you need something or need to tell us something, we'll be there and listen to you." Tahu's crimson eyes looked sincere.
'Maybe he really means it.' Elrond thought to himself. 'If so, then I'm doing a good job.' But still, he felt guilty.
He took a deep breath. "I... I think Lewa's in trouble." He said slowly.
"What? What do you mean? How do you know?" Gali asked, confused. Tahu looked confused too.
"You just... have to trust me." Elrond said, looking Gali straight in the eye. "We have to help him."
Tahu was about to say something, but Gali spoke before he had a chance to.
"Then let's get the other toa, and find him." she said, determined.
Elrond nodded, and they ran to go get the other toa.
Ahhh! Bad chapter! I'm sorry it took so long to get this up.
Ok, I finally got around to putting up a new chapter. So, here ya go!
Lewa tried to go around Yadira, but she blocked his path every time. Lewa really didn't want to fight her right now; he still needed to find Tahu, who could be in trouble for all he knew.
"I don't have time for this." He mumbled.
"Well, then you'll have to make time. This is not going to be a silly little fight. On no, Lewa. This match is to the death. If you actually win, then you can continue searching for your friend. But if you lose, then your friends will have to come searching for you...all that will be left of you, I mean."
She charged at him at full force. She rammed into his chest so hard, he felt as if he had just been hit by a heard of Kane-Ra. When his head hit the ground, he literally saw stars. His gorgeous emerald eyes fluttered open, and he saw why Yadira's attack had been so strong. She had used her powers and had transformed into a Kane-Ra.
'I forgot she could do that...'Lewa thought to himself, slowly sitting up.
Yadira roared at him, then transformed back to her human form. She slowly stepped towards him, with her sword in hand. Lewa's hand felt around for his boomerang, which he kept in one of the many loops of his baggy tan pants, high enough to where his long shirt covered it and hid it from unsuspecting enemys. Unsuspecting enemys like Yadira, who seemed to have no idea what Lewa was doing, and continued slowly advancing forward. In one swift movement, Lewa took out the boomerang and threw it at her. She ducked in time, then slowly stood back up.
"You missed."
"Not quite."
Yadira forgot that boomerangs came back to their thrower. She turned around and saw the boomerang coming at her in a blur. She tried to step out of the way, but she wasn't fast enough. One of the sharp razor-like blades that surrounded the edges of Lewa's weapon nicked her neck. Even though it was just a scratch, it bled like crazy.
'Too close.' Yadira thought.'If I hadn't gotton out of the way in time, it would have taken off my head! If Lewa wouldn't of said something to remind me...' Her thoughts trailed off. At first, what Lewa had said seemed like some sort of taunt. Now, it seemed more like a warning. He had warned her!
"No. No he hadn't.' Yadira tried to tell herself. 'Don't go soft now. If you do, you'll be in major trouble with Thais. Don't think, just destroy him.'
With that last thought, she turned into a Nui-Rama.
Lewa's face brightned when he saw this.
'Since she turned into a flying creature, I can use my new move. I've been waiting to try it out on something.'
He threw his boomerang in her direction.
'This again? In this form, it's too easy to dodge.'
Yadira quickly buzzed out of it's way, then when it came back, she dodged it again. But then it came back towards her again. She zig-zagged and flew, and dived, but she couldn't shake it. Lewa was using his power over the air and winds to direct the boomerang and keep it on her trail. Yadira was losing energy fast. It was hard enough to change and stay in the air, much less having to continually dodge a speedy, not to mention sharp, boomerang. She slowed down just for a second to catch her breath. Maybe even less then a second. But that was all the time Lewa needed. He made the wind push harder on the boomerang, and it sped up, and slashed one of Yadira's Nui-Rama wings.
Yadira fell through the sky, instintly changing back to her human form. Her frail body crashed through the trees branches and brush. Finally, she hit the ground hard on her left shoulder. Groaning, she turned over on her back and tried to sit up, but Lewa jumped on top of her, and had the razor edges of his weapon up tightly against her neck.
Gasping for breath, Yadira glared at him.
"You may have won, but do you have what it takes to kill me? Do you have enough guts?" Yadira had no idea what made her say that. What was she thinking? Yadira was in a panic. She didn't want to die, but she didn't want to say that either! Maybe it was to cover up her fear and panic, and make him think she wan't afraid, so that way he wouldn't have as much pleasure in killing her knowing that she wasn't afraid of dying. But she was.
"Oh, I can easily kill you right now Yadira. But I don't think I will."
Yadira looked at him in confusment, and relief.
"I don't see any real evil in you. All I see is someone trapped in the evil world, trying to get out. I hope that someday we will give you the chance to get out." Lewa took his weapon from Yadira's neck, and walked away.
Yadira layed her head back against the hard ground, replaying everything that just happened in her mind.
'Did he just do what I think he did? Yes... He just spared my life.'
~~~~

Gali and the other toa were racing through the thick folige of the jungle, searching for Lewa. Gali spotted him walking calmly towards them. She lightly jogged up to him.

"Lewa! We're so glad you're okay! Elrond told us you were in trouble!

Lewa looked at Elrond, surprised.

"What? How did you know?"

Everyone turned to look at Elrond.

"Um, well... You're my friend Lewa. I just sensed that something was wrong."

That made sense to Gali She remmembered that she had sensed that something was wrong with Pohatu, so she had to escape Ko-Koro to make sure he was okay. Which he wasn't.

But the other toa other then Lewa didn't seem convinced. Gali decided to help Elrond out.

"That's good how you and Lewa are such close friends that you can actually sense when he's in trouble. That happens with me sometimes too. That means that you really care, and you don't want Lewa to get hurt, because he's your friend. Right?

"Lewa's not my friend..." Elrond paused."...he's my best friend."

Lewa smiled broadly as if he had just been awarded the only Copper Huna left on Mata Nui.

"So, what happened?" Pohatu asked Lewa.

Lewa began to tell them all the run-in with Yadira, and the fight he went through, and won.

In a nearby tree, Yadira had listened to their conversation. She quietly climed down the tree, and just in case one of the toa happened to look her way, she transformed into a Le-Korian salesman that walked through Le-Wahi regularly to get supplies. Yadira calmly headed back to the other kota.

K, well I finally made the next chapter....so here ya go!

"Well, since we're already in Le-Wahi, I invite you all to spend tonight in my village of Le-Koro." Lewa told the other toa.

"Okay"

"Sounds great."

"Um...I don't know..." Started Gali.

"What? What's wrong with my village?"Lewa asked.

"You're village is beautiful Lewa! It's just...it's settled in the trees...very high up in the trees."Gali said.

"Oh yeah. You don't like heights." Tahu said.

"We won't let you fall." Elrond told her reassuringly.

"Yeah, It's not like we're going to push you off." Lewa said rolling his eyes.

"I guess you guys are right. It's just that I'm not very comfortable around heights. But I'll get over it."

"Well, we don't have to stay in Le-Koro. We can travel to Ko-Koro if you want to."Kopaka told Gali, his usually cold icy blue eyes now filled with warmth and concern.

"Oh yeah, you'd like that, wouldn't you Ice Boy?" Lewa said.

Kopaka turned his head to Lewa and gave him a cold hard stare.

"Heh heh...just kidding." Lewa said, backing up a little.

"No. Forget it. Le-Koro's fine." Gali said, as she began walking in the direction of Le-Koro, not giving anyone a chance to argue.

~~~~
When they got to Le-Koro, Gali looked up at the village that was happily nestled in the high treetops.
'Wow. It's higher up then I remember.'She thought to herself.
"Um guys? I forgot that the elevator still hasn't been fixed ever since those Nuhvok attacked Le-Koro and broke it. We're gonna have to climb." Lewa said.
As the other toa began to climb the huge Redwood that supported Le-Koro, Gali stood at the base.
She hesitated, then slowly began climbing the Redwood. As she got higher and higher, she began to feel dizzy.
'Don't look down.' She reminded herself, as she paused.
The other toa had made it to the platform by now, and Gali was so close to the top that she could almost touch it, when she lost her footing. When that foot slipped, so did the other one. The rough bark was cutting into her hands that were supporting all her weight, making them bleed, and making her grip more slippery. The peice of bark under her left hand peeled off, and she was hanging with only her right hand. She wanted to scream for help, but was afraid that if she did, she would lose her grip. She could feel the bark under her right hand giving way, and she looked down to see how long a fall it would be. As soon as she did, her vision blurred from fright. The bark peeled off, but before she started falling, a warm hand grabbed hers. She looked up and saw...
"Elrond!"
He smiled at her. "Having a little trouble? Let me help you." He said sweetly.
He pulled her up and Gali collapsed on the wooden platform.
"The other toa alrady went to Turaga Matau's hut to ask to use the spare huts, but I couldn't find you so I came back to see if you were still climbing, or if you had even started." Elrond explained.
"Thank you. If you hadn't come back..." Gali's voice trailed off.
"Don't worry about it. Come on, we better catch up with the others." Elrond said, as he helped Gali up, and they began walking to Turaga Matau's hut.
~~~~

Panting heavily, Yadira climed up and around the snow drifts of Ko-Wahi as fast as she could. The wound in her neck made by Lewa's boomerang was still bleeding heavily. She had tried to block it with her hand, and had torn a peice of cloth from her shirt and wrapped it around the wound, but both attempts failed. She was feeling very drowsy, and was fighting to not faint. She finally reached the cave that led to the kota's lair, and stumbled inside. Kalama saw her enter and came up to her.

"Whoa! What happened?"

"I need to speak with Thais." Yadira panted.

"Okay, but first let me go get Komata." He grabbed a chair and helped her sit down. "Here. Rest, ok? I'll be right back."

Kalama ran into the left corridor that led to Komata's room, and came back 30 seconds later with Komata right behind him.

Komata rushed to Yadira's side, and gently brushed her ruby red hair away from the wound. Yadira winced as he gently placed his hand upon her wound. Komata's hand symbol glowed for a second, and he lifted his hand away, revealing that there was no longer a wound.

"Thank you." Yadira said softly.

"No problem."

Yadira stood up and walked briskly to Thais' room. She gently knocked three times on the door, and Thais came out.

"Is Lewa out of our way?" Thais asked.

"Actually...no."

Thais raised her thin light brown eyebrows. "And why not?"

"Um... well..." Yadira shrugged her shoulders helplessly, then looked at the ground. "But there is something else that you might want to know." Yadira paused. "It seems that Elrond... told the toa that Lewa was going to be attacked."

"What!?"

Yadira bit her bottom lip. 'I'm sorry Elrond.'

"Kalama!" Thais yelled.

Kalama ran down the hallway to Thais. "Yes?"

"I want you to go get Elrond and bring him here. After what he did today, I don't know if he'll come on his own."

Harka jumped out from behind a nearby corner, showing that he was listening.

"I want to go too!" He said.

"No. If I send you with your brother, you two will probley kill each other before you even got there."

Kalama walked by his brother. "Bye." He said, rubbing it in.

As he passed by, Harka stuck his foot out and tripped Kalama. Kalama stumbled, then looked back at his brother. Harka looked up at the ceiling and whistled innocently.

"Why you little..." Kalama started.

"Kalama!" Thais said impatiantly.

Kalama and Harka glared at each other, then Kalama turned and left the lair.

~~~~
It ended up that there were only two spare huts left in Le-Koro. Each hut was exeptionally big and had two bunk beds. The toa split themselves so that Onua Tahu and Pohatu were in one hut, and Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, and Erond were in the other.
It was very late, so the toa were getting ready to go to sleep. Actually only Kopaka and Gali were. Lewa had picked a fight with Elrond. A pillow fight to be exact. They were both pounding each other with their soft feather pillows, and were laughing hysterically. Gali looked at Kopaka, and he looked at her and rolled his eyes.
"They're acting like children." Kopaka said.
Gali smiled. "Actually, this is very entertaining." Gali saw a hint of a smile on Kopaka's face, then it was gone.
"I'm going to get some rest, and sleep." he said as he walked over to the bunk bed farthest from Lewa and Elrond, and climed on the top bunk.
"I don't know how you'll be able to sleep. They're very loud. I'm surprised all of Le-Koro hasn't come to our door to complain."
"I'm sure they're very used to Lewa by now." Kopaka said, closing his eyes.
Gali sighed and walked over to the bunk under Kopaka when a pillow went flying through the air, and hit her in the head. She looked up and saw Elrond and Lewa pointing at each other and smiling mischeviously. Gali smiled and picked up the pillow.
"You guys want a peice of this?" She pointed at herself.
Elrond and Lewa's smiles grew wider.
"You asked for it!" She charged at them and swung her pillow at Lewa's head, and hit him right on. Then he hit her in the back, and Gali hit Elrond in the stomach. Elrond swung his pillow at Gali, but she ducked and he hit Lewa instead. The pillow hit him in the waist where he kept his sharp boomerang, and the pillow literally popped. Soft silky feathers were foating everywhere. The three toa stood there and looked at each other, trying not to laugh. Gali grabbed the plumpest pillow and ran off to her bed, and Elrond grabbed the other good pillow and ran to the bottom bunk of the other bed. Lewa was stuck with what was left of the pillow that popped for the rest of the night.
~~~~

The two blood-red eyes of Elrond shot open, as he looked around the dark quiet room. It seemed that the three toa that he was rooming with were sound asleep. It was the perfect time to leave and go to the kota's lair to tell Thais of more of the toa's weaknesses. He had found out a good one today for Gali. He quickly sat up, and accidently hit his head on the top bunk. He sat still for a moment, rubbing his head and waiting to see if the noise had woken any of the toa up. Lewa stirred in the bunk above him, but that was it. Elrond slid out of bed, and left the hut. He didn't feel like walking tonight, so he looked around for some sort of transportation. He spotted a Gukko bird, sound asleep. If he tried to wake it and ride off, it would definatly screech, and would wake someone up, so he needed to infect it. He silently walked over to it, and raised his hand. The hand symbol that he hid under his long black trench coat sleeve glowed, and the bird opened it's eyes; only it's eyes wern't the normal orange eyes of a Gukko bird, instead, they were a sickly green color. The color of an infected animal. Elrond climed onto it's back, and took off into the cool night sky.

His silky blue hair whipped in the wind, and his trench coat flapped behind him as the Gukko reached it's highest speed. He looked up at the night sky, filled with bright stars, including the sacred Red Star.

'Why do they think that star is so darn important?' he thought to himself. 'If that star just suddenly happened to disappear, they'de all be running around in circles like headless husi.' He chuckled to himself. 'Well, maybe not the toa. They'de most likely be trying to settle everyone down.' Elrond sighed. 'Why does Thais have me betray the toa? I guess she doesn't think I'm evil enough or something. Well, I'll show her. Just wait Sis, I may feel bad about it, but I'll surprise you.'

Out of the corner of his eye, he barley saw a figure just entering the jungle.

'Who would be out this late?' He thought to himself. Out of curiousity, he turned the brainwashed bird towards the figure. When the figure turned around, Elrond was shocked.

"Kalama?!"

"Elrond." Kalama gave him an acknowledging nod.

"What are you doing?"

"Thais sent me out to get you, just in case you didn't come back tonight." Kalama answered.

"Why would she think that?"

"Yadira saw how you told the toa that she was going to attack Lewa. Thais thought you'd chicken out and not come. I'm glad she's wrong though."

"Oh great. Now I'm going to have to make up with an excuse."

"So you mean you felt bad? Elrond!"

"I know! It's just... that... well..." Elrond stammered.

"Don't worry, you don't have to explain yourself to me. Only Thais. So, are you going to give me a ride or what?"

Elrond landed his Gukko and let Kalama climb on behind him.

"Would you have done that? Tell the toa, I mean?" Elrond asked.

"Me? No. You've been with the toa, so you know them better, but I most likely wouldn't have done that. Not with Thais breathing down my neck all the time."

Elrond chuckled. "I know what you mean. BELEIVE me."

Elrond made the Gukko have a running start on the ground, then fly into the sky, and towards Ko-Wahi, to their lair.

Kalama and Elrond soared over Ko-Wahi on the infected Gukko bird. Elrond spotted the cave that led to the kota's lair, and gently landed the Gukko. Both kota slowly climbed off of the bird and watched it fly off before entering the dark lair.

"Good luck." Kalama said to Elrond as he turned left into a corridor.

Elrond continued walking down the long hallway to Thais' room. He stood in front of her door for a second, then reached his hand out, turned the brass knob, and quietly opened the door. He silently stepped inside, and shut the door behind him. Thais was on the other side of the room with her back to him.

"So, Thais....you wanted to see me?"

Thais wasted no time, and got right down to the point. "Elrond, the Toa are not our firends, so why did you tell them about Lewa?"

"I don't know why it's a big deal. I mean, Yadira didn't even destr-"

"That's not the point! If Yadira had been close to beating him, the other Toa would have walked right in, and helped him!"

Elrond knew better then to continue the arguement against Thais. "I guess I just felt bad..."

"Felt bad?!" Thais interupted. "The Toa sure didn't feel bad when they destroyed our father!!"

Thais turned toward Elrond, her hazel eyes burning with hatred. She stepped away from what she was looking at. There, in a glass case by the wall and resting on a satin pillow was a cracked Kraahkan; their father's Kraahkan. Elrond knew that their father Makuta was very special to Thais, and when he died she kept his Kraahkan as a rememberence of him.

"I slipped. It won't ever happen again." Elrond promised, while staring at the encased Kraahkan the whole time, as if in a trance.

"It better not." Thais muttered.

Elrond tore his eyes away from his deceased father's mask and looked at Thais instead. "You don't have to worry about it."

Thais looked satisfied.

"Today I found out something about a certain Toa of Water." Elrond said, thankful to change the subject.

"Go on." Thais told him, her eyes sparkling with interest.

"It seems that Miss Gali has a pretty big fear of heights."

Thais smirked mischeviously. "I can definatly use that as an advantage to me. Thank you Elrond."

"I knew you would be happy about that." Elrond smiled, then turned to the door.

"Remember what I said," Thais reminded him. "Don't slip up again Elrond, because if you do..."

Elrond shook his head impatiently.

"I know Thais. It's almost morning, so I have to go." And with that, he left the room.

As Elrond shut Thais' door behind him, Kalama and Harka ran up to him.

"Hey wow! You're alive!" Kalama joked.

"No, I'm dead." Elrond said sarcastically.

"Really?" Asked Harka. "You look good or a dead guy!"

Kalama looked at his brother, then elbowed him in the stomach.

"Ow!" Harka exclaimed while he was hunched over holding his stomach. He glared at Kalama, then grabbed his brother's foot and yanked it forward, making Kalama fall and land hard on his back.

Elrond chuckled, then continued walking down the hallway towards the lair's exit while the two brothers continued fighting. He walked out the door and through the cave that hid the entance to the lair until he was standing outside on soft snow. He stood completely still as if in meditation, and concentrated on summoning the newly infected Gukko Bird. After a few seconds he opened his red eyes, dull from lack of sleep, and spotted the large bird's wings flapping gracefully as it soared over to him in the moon's faint white light.

~~~~
Gali's pure blue eyes fluttered open, and looked around the rented room. The curtains of the balconys door were drawn shut, but a small line of the morning sun's light penetrated through and dimly lit the room. Gali quietly yawned, then kicked off her blanket and climbed out of bed. The wooden floor was cold to her feet as she walked to the small kitchen that was attached to the room. The young woman rubbed her eyes then switched on the kitchen light, and started making breakfast.
Kopaka walked into the kitchen right when Gali was setting breakfast on the table. For some reason, he was in a very good mood.
"Morning." Gali muttered.
"Good morning." Kopaka replied. "Whatchya got there?"
"Husi eggs and Maha milk."
"Sounds good." Kopaka said, while sitting in one of the chairs that surrounded the small four sided table.
The two Toa began to fill their plates with Husi eggs when Lewa shuffled in, rubbing his neck.
"I can't beleive you and Elrond left me with that pillow last night. It barley had anything left in it! Now my neck's all sore." He told Gali.
Gali laughed softly.
"Oh, so you think that's funny huh? Just watch, I'll get my revenge on you and Elrond." Lewa said, with a glint in his eye.
"Sure you will." Gali told him, rolling her eyes.
Lewa walked behind her and tipped her chair backwards making her scream in surprise, then put it back on all fours. Gali glared at him as he walked to the chair diagnal from her and sat down, smiling the whole time.
Gali heard Kopaka chuckling across from her, and she turned to him.
"Hey! I though you were on my side!"
Kopaka raised his hands defensivly. "I never said I was on ANY side. I'd rather sit back and amuse myself by watching you guys."
Gali rolled her eyes and Kopaka smiled.
"Elrond better get in here if he wants breakfast." Gali said, deliberatly changing the subject.
Lewa pushed his chair away from the table and stood up, smiling. "I still owe him so I'll go wake him up."
A few seconds later Lewa came back into the kitchen.
"He's not in his bed." He told the other toa.
"Well, where is he?" Gali asked absentmindedly.
"I don't know." Lewa shrugged.
The tree Toa heard their door open and Tahu appeared in the kitchen doorway.
"Come on, we need to go. Turaga Matau has informed us that Turaga Nokama has impotant information to tell us."
"Well we can't leave yet. We can't find Elrond." Gali said.
Tahu looked annoyed. "You guys get ready to go, and me, Pohatu and Onua will look for him." The redhead turned around, then left.
"Go ahead and get ready guys, I'll clean up here." Gali said.
The two male Toa obediantly stood up and went into the other room, and Gali began cleaning off the table.
After she was done, Gali went into the other room and saw that Lewa and Kopaka must had already left to go help find Elrond. The young blond walked over to the small closet that was in between the two bunk beds, and pulled out her long silk skirt and tight shirt. She took off the oversized T-shirt that went down to her knees that she used to sleep in, and put on her clothes. Then she strode over to the mirror and pulled lightly on her scrunchy, allowing her long blond hair to flow down to her waist. She picked up her brush off of the small nighstand and gently brushed through her hair; the blond stands shining wth every stroke. Once she was done, she picked up her necklace with the gold cross, latched it sround her neck, then walked outside onto the Le-Koro platform. The blond looked around for a moment, watching all the Le-korans scamper to get their morning tasks done. She spotted Pohatu out of the corner of her eye standing on the platform below her. Gali walked up to the edge of the platform, and climbed onto the railings. She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the fresh maple and pine scent of the trees, then jumped off of the railings, completing a double back flip before landing on the lower platform, right in front of Pohatu.
Pohatu stumbled back, startled. "Whoa! Warn me next time you do that, okay?" He said, smiling.
Gali stood up and smiled back. "Have any of you seen Elrond yet?" She asked him.
"Nope. Not yet."
"Where could he be? I hope he's alright." Gali said, to no one in particular.
"Don't worry. He's a toa. He can take care of himself." Pohatu said, brushing away a strand of his long brown bangs that had fallen out of place.
"Hey, there he is!" Onua shouted from the other side of the platform.
Gali and Pohatu looked down at where Onua was pointing, and sure enough, saw Elrond walking on the forest floor, making his way to Le-Koro.
Onua, Pohatu, and Gali piled into the elevatar and went down to meet up with Elrond. The other three toa did the same.
"Miss me?" Elrond asked innocently.
"Where were you?" Tahu asked, ignoring Elrond's remark.
"Me? Well, this morning I woke really early, and noticed that I needed to wash up."
"Yeah, I didn't want to say anything." Lewa said, smiling.
Elrond returned Lewa's smile, then continued.
"Anyways, I decided to go down to the Hot Springs in that Southern swamp and take a bath. I'm sorry if I scared you guys."
"Scare us? Actually, when we woke up this morning and saw you were gone, we were all so happy. But now that you're back, it's very depressing." Lewa said playfully.
"Oh yeah? Then why were you looking for me?"
"Um...well...because..." Lewa stammered.
"See?" Elrond said smiling.
The two friends both laughed, and the other toa looked at each other and rolled their eyes.
Everyone beleived Elrond's excuse; No one was suspicious for a moment.
Hiya guys! Sorry it took so long for me to get this chapter up... but I finally got time. So, here it is:
The Start of a New Quest
Deep in the caves of Onu-Koro...
A young matoran by the name of Zefnar was mining with his best friend Nicarr.
"I hate mining! By the end of the day my back is so sore I can't do anything!" exclaimed Nicarr.
Zefnar swung his pickax before glancing at his friend. "Yeah, it would be so much easier if we had powers like Toa Onua does. He can dig faster in a couple of hours then we can in a couple of days! I'd give anything to be a hero like the Toa..."
"Yeah...." Nicarr agreed, leaning on his pickax.
"Nicarr? What do you think of that new Toa, Elrond?"
"Elrond? I guess he's pretty cool. He can definatly help the other Toa defeat the Kota too."
Zefnar thought for a moment, then said, "I don't know about him...I mean, nobody even knows where he came from. He just suddenly appeared, Poof! Like that."
Nicarr rolled his eyes at his friend. "You're paranoid Zefnar. Anyways, Whenua said that it was in the prophesies. So he has to be a real toa."
"It was in the prophesies?" Zefnar asked, confused.
"Of course!"
Zefnar looked at the ground in deep thought, then said,"Don't you sometimes help Turaga Whenua with tasks?"
"Yes.... Nicarr said slowly, trying to figure out where his friend was getting at.
"Yes...you told me one time how Turaga Whenua has you sort out the prophesies in certain ways because he likes to get to the ones he needs easily but can't organize them himself because he's always too busy. So you should have a key to the vault that he keeps them in, right?"
"Zefnar, what are you thinking in that crazy head of yours? Are you actually considering breaking into the Turaga's hut, going into the vualt, and looking through the prophesies?"
"I have a bad feeling about Toa Elrond. I've been having strange dreams about him...they're not really clear, but I think they're trying to warn me about him or something. I just want to check the prophesy, and prove to myself that it's real, and Elrond is really a Toa. Please, will you help me?"
"Zefnar, do you know how much trouble you'de get in for breaking into the Turaga's hut? No, I will not give you the key, and risk losing my best friend."
"Well, since you have clearance, why don't you go and bring back the tablet so I can see it?"
"Turaga Whenua is off in Ko-Koro having some sort of meeting with Turaga Nuju, so no one is allowed in his hut while he's gone."
"Then just let me go Nicarr! I'll just keep bugging you till you do!!"
Nicarr gave an exaturated sigh. "Fine." He rummaged around in his small backpack searching for the small key. "Promise me you won't get cought?"
Zefnar grabbed the key when Nicarr held it out to him and said "I promise."
"I'll take over your shift here if you want to go now." Nicarr told him.
"Thanks. I should be back soon." Zefnar flashed his friend a reassuring smile then headed down the dark tunnel towards his destination.
~~~~

Gali and the other Toa stood on the sandy beach of Ga-Koro. 'Ah, it's good to be home.' Gali thought to herself. She watched as all the Ga-matoran busily walked around, repairing Ga-Koro. Gali noticed that they were almost halfway done, when Nokama approached her and the other Toa.

"Hello Nokama. It's good to see you again." Gali smiled. "The village is coming along nicley."

"Thank you gali. I'm happy to say that we should be done by nightfall tomorrow if we keep up this pace."

"Good. I'm sure everyone will be happy to be back in their own huts again."

"Well, maybe not everyone..." Nokama rolled her eyes, mtioning to Macku, who was sitting on the beach, snuggling her small Hucki doll. Everyone laughed.

Nokama sighed. "I've been noticing some changes in the stars, but no one knows what it means since Nixie isn't here."

"Don't worry Nokama, we'll get her back soon." Gali reassured.

"Yes, I suppose you are right since the news that you came to get from me will help you in this battle against the kota.

"Really?" Tahu asked, intrigued.

"Yes, please continue Turaga." Elrond said.

"It seems that there is an object that can somehow make the kota weaker and easier to defeat. This object is in a room in the Tiro Canyon of Po-Koro."

"Well, that seems easy." Lewa said. "A little too easy if you ask me."

"You're right Lewa, it's not going to be that easy. In order to get into this room, you must have it's 4 keys. Otherwise, it's impossible to enter because it's walls are made of Protodermic metal. Only with the 4 keys will you be able to enter."

"So, where are these keys Turaga?" asked Kopaka.

"I only know the location of one, and it's not even a full location...it'a a clue."

"A clue? As in, more riddles, like when we first had to find our masks?"

"Yep."

"You Turaga enjoy watching us go through this torture, don't you?" Gali said.

Nokama just chuckled.

Pohatu sighed. "So, what's the clue?"

"Okay, here it is." declaired Nokama. "This key is hidden up high, where it is wet, yet dry."

Everyone stood there for a moment, then Lewa broke the silence.

"Who comes up with these wacky clues?"

"Well, I'll leave you all to think about it for a while." Nokama said. Then she turned and walked towards her villagers, ready to help them in any way she could.

"I have no idea where this key is hidden." Lewa said.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm going to be much help either." said Elrond.

"Well, I'm not going to just waste time standing here and thinking about it, I'm going to think about it while helping to rebuild the village." Gali said, then turned and started walking off to the half rebuilt village, then turned around to see the other toa just standing there. Gali rolled her eyes. "They will set up a boufet at lunch for all the workers."

"All right!"

"Yeah!"

"That's a good idea"

"Come on, let's go!"

And with that, all the toa went to help repair Gali's damaged village.

~~~~
Zefnar turned a corner to see about 5 guards at the Turaga Whenua's door, their eyes searching for any mischeivious matoran that they might have to deal with. Zefnar quickly ducked into the shadows and slowly approached the large hut, being sure to stay against the wall. He carefully squeezed behind a guard that was standing very close to the wall, being sure not to accidently touch him. He made his way to the bak of the hut, where there was no guards, and climbed throught the window. His foot caught on the sill, however, and when he tugged it free, he fell face first onto the cold stone floor of the hut.
"So much for a smooth enterance." He said to himself.
Zefnar quickly got to his feet, then made his way to the small trapdoor in the ground on the other side of the room. He carefully opened it, making sure it's rusted hinges didn't groan and squeek too loud, then quietly decended the stairs that lay beneath it. He made his way down the long hallway that layed beneath all of Onu-Koro, and finally, he reached the vault door. He heard a small "click" after he inserted the key, and the vault door automatically opened.
He stared in awe at the rows of stone cabinets that held the sacred prophesies. Zefnar blinked, then walked over to the nearest cabinet, and opened it. He saw that all the prophesies were just randomly thrown into it, and had no markings that told what was written on them.
"It looks like Turaga Whenua hasn't asked Nicarr to come ina nd organize these in a LONG time." Zefnar mumbled to himself. "This is going to take a while..."
~~~~

Gali stood up straight and stretched her back. The toa had been working on the village for hours, and it was now night time. She looked over at Kopaka who was right next to her.

"Have you figured out what that riddle ment yet?" she asked him.

"No, I havn't." he answered.

"Hmm... somehwere high..." Gali thought outloud. "A tree, maybe? No..."

Kopaka, deep in thought, looked over at the KauKau Nuva Waterfall and watched as the pure blue waters rythemically flowed throught the vent of the KauKau Nuva, then splashed into the water.

"Hey wait a minute...." Kopaka said. "The KauKau Nuva waterfall is pretty high up, and it's definatly wet....but what about the dry part?"

Gali looked at him, then over at the waterfall. She stared at it, thinking hard, then tucked a stry peice of her golden blond hair behind her ear.

Finally, she said "I think Nokama mentioned a long time ago about how she used to go in the waterfall statue, where there was hidden rooms, and she used to go and meditate and be alone. She doesn't go anymore though because that statue is a bit unstable from being destroyed. I think the builders must have carved the KauKau Nuva statue on new rock, but the rooms must still be there BEHIND the rock! So that must be it! The waterfall is up high, and it's wet too, because, well, it's a waterfall. But it's dry too, because there are rooms inside of it. This has to be what the clue is talking about, there's nothing else!"

"Then let us go and inform the other toa. But it's too late to search for the key tonight, so we'll have to wait until the morning for that." Kopaka said, standing up.

"Good idea, Kopaka." Gali said, as they both went to find the other Toa.

~~~~
After hours of searching through the stone tablets, Zefnar finally found the prophesy that fortold of Elrond. Zefnar read over the one line carefully.
"A seventh ota will join the six Toa."
Why was "Toa" misspelled as "ota"? It could be a normal mistake, but the young matoran didn't think it was. Something was wrong, Zefnar could tell. He stared intently at the stone tablet, and saw that there was a letter faintly carved into the tablet in front of the misspelled "toa". It looked as if someone has tried to scratch it out. The young matoran focused his eyes to make out the faint letter, and relized what it was. It was a "k", and when he read the whole thing over again with the "k", the prophesy read:
A seventh kota will join the six Toa
A 7th kota?
"Elrond." Zefnar said aloud. One of the Kota must have gotton in here and attempted to scratch out the "k" before the Turaga read this prophesy. Then, when Whenua read it, he must have though it was a simple spelling error like Zefnar almost did.
"That was pretty clever...for a kota." Zefnar mumbled to himself. "I have to get to Turaga Whenua and show him this at once. Where did Nicarr say he was? Oh yeah, Ko-Koro! This is urgent news, so I have to go now." And with that last thought, Zefnar snuck back to his hut to pack a couple things for his journey to Ko-Koro.
~~~~

"The KauKau waterfall? Of course!" Elrond exclaimed. "You guys are geniuses!"

Gali chuckled. "Remember Elrond, we had to go through solving these riddles before, so we have to be a little good at them!"

"I guess you're right." Elrond smiled.

"Man, I'm tired, and it's alte. I'm gonna call it quits fr the night." Lewa said.

"That's a good idea." Pohatu agreed, rubbing his back.

All the toa walked into the 7 small huts that the Ga-matorans had set up for them to sleep in since Ga-Koro was not quite sturdy yet. The 7 humans quickly fell asleep except for one. His blood red eyes glowed in the night as he made his way past the beach and into the forest, heading for the snowy region of Mata-Nui. He knew that Thias would be happy to hear that they had found the location for the first key...

Zefnar ran across the Ko-Wahi snow drifts, but with the heavy blizzard, it was like taking one step forward and two steps back. The young matoran felt like he was not even moving, and he was freezing. He had never experienced weather like this in his whole life. He was starting to get doubts that he would even make it to Ko-Koro.

'I have to.' Zefnar told himself. 'The toa depend on it.' He clutched his backpack, which contained the stone tablet inside, firmly to his chest in determination, and trudged forward.

It was getting harder to go on, for the snow was now up to his waist. His eyes watered from the freezing wind, and it was getting harder for him to see. Collapsing on the ground and letting the snow engulf him completly was getting more and more tempting. No matter how hard he tried to block them, thoughts like "I'm not going to make it" and "I'm a failure" drifted in and out of his mind. Just when his conciousness was going to fail him, he spotted a small cave about a bio away.

"I can make it a little further..." He thought to himself. "I'll just rest there until the blizzard is over."

Zefnar slowly pushed forward in the snow until he tumbled into the cave. He wearily walked a little further in, until he couldn't feel the deathly cold wind. As soon as he sat down, his tired and exhausted body collapsed, and his mind blacked out.

~~~~
Elrond rode his newly infected Muaka through the snow dunes and to the small cave that led to the kota's lair. What a blizzard! Elrond couldn't remember the last time he'd seen one so big.
The Muaka stopped in front of the cave, and Elrond slid off. He walked into the cave, but his foot caught on something, and he tripped and fell hard on his left shoulder. Elrond moaned in pain and slowly sat up, tenderly rubbing his shoulder. What had he tripped on? Elrond focused his eyes in the dark of the cave, and he could faintly make out the dark outline of a small figure. It wasn't moving, so Elrond quietly crawled up to it. He focused his eyes harder, and saw that it was a matoran. It was an Onu-matoran by the looks of it, and it had an orange Miru. What had an Onu-matoran been doing in Ko-Wahi, especially in a blizzard this big? Elrond shrugged, and picked him up, then went into the small hidden door that led inside the kota's lair.
~~~~

Gali's beautiful sky blue eyes opened as she woke with a start. She had just had a dream of a young Onu-Matoran who had been traveling to Ko-Koro with important information, and was now in great danger. Gali wondered if it was a dream or a vision.

'Probley just a dream.' Gali assured herself. 'No matoran in their right mind would travel to Ko-Koro at night.'

Gali needed some fresh air, so she crawled out of her small tent and walked over to a cliff that looked out over the beach. She sat down at the very edge, and let her legs dangle off the side. The cold ocean mist that sprayed Gali's face was refreshing on her hot skin. The heavy fog that surrounded the beach made the night air cool. Gali pulled her legs up against her chest, crossed her ankles, and rested her chin on her knees.

The young woman looked out across the vast ocean as far as the fog would allow her, and though out loud, "Is there anything else out there beyond the shores of Mata Nui? Or are we the only thing here in this whole world?"

"I've been wondering the answers to those questions a lot latly myself."

Gali jummed at the sound of another voice other then her own, and turned around to see the handsome face of Kopaka.

"I saw you leave your tent, so I followed you." Kopaka answered Gali's unasked question. "What are you doing?"

"I couldn't sleep." Gali told him.

Kopaka walked over to a large rock next to Gali and sat down on it.

"So, do you Kopaka?"

"Do I what?"

"Do you think there is anything else out there?"

"That's a very hard question, but I'd have to say that no, I think we're all there is."

"How lonley." Gali mumbled.

"It may seem like that at times. But at least we have this paradise, and each other."

"It's not much of a paradise if people keep trying to destroy it and and take it from us. We never seem to really get a break."

"So, that's why you want to know if there's something else out there? So you can leave?"

Gali's nod was barley visable.

"There's a boat right down there on the beach. You can go if you want to. I won't blame you, or try to stop you."

Gali's eyes locked with Kopaka's.

"Why do you stay quiet most of the time?"

"Talking just isn't my thing."

"For something that isn't your 'thing', you sure are good at it."

"So you're not leaving then?"

Gali sighed. "Not when Mata Nui still needs me. Besides, there may not be anything else out there." She gave Kopaka a small grin.

Kopaka began to smile back at her, then stopped himself.

Gali slightly cocked her head to the left. "Why don't you smile?"

"I usually don't like to show my emotions."

"Why not?"

Kopaka looked out at the sea. "You wouldn't understand."

Gali continued to look at him. "Try me."

Kopaka looked back at Gali. Her eyes were slightly narrowed, as if she were trying to read his mind. Should he tell her? Kopaka looked at the ground, then stood up, and walked back down the cliff.

"Kopaka wait! I'm sorry, come back!" Gali called after him. 'I wonder why he did that. I must have hit a nerve or something." She thought to herself.

She turned back around and looked out over the ocean. Why was he so secretive like that? She felt as if the answer was right there, but something was blocking it. Like the fog was always blocking her veiw when she was trying to see if there was any other island out there. It kind of reminded her of what Kopaka told her earlier, about seeing through the fog.

Gali sighed, then rested her chin on her knees again, and slowly shut her eyes. She listened to the soothing sound of the waves gently lapping out on the beach, and soon, she had fallen asleep.

~~~~
"After Elrond had brought me into the lair, all of the kota had went through my backpack to try to get an idea of what I was doing in Ko-Wahi, and Thais had found the tablet that she had tried to change so that Elrond could get in with the toa. Then she ordered that I be put in the dungeon so I wouldn't tell anyone that Elrond was really a kota, so Elrond had to practically drag me down here because I was stuggling, and now, here I am." explained Zefnar.
"Oh. Too bad you got caught." Nixie told him.
Zefnar was so glad that Elrond had put him in the same dungeon as Nixie. Now he had someone to talk to, and so did Nixie.
"So, do you have any plans on getting us out of here?" asked Nixie.
"No, I don't. They took my backpack, which had some tools that we could of used..."
Nixie began to softly cry. Zefnar went over to her and put his arm around her to help comfort her.
"I've been here too long, Zefnar. I'm not used to places like this. I'm used to bright and happy places like Ga-Koro." Nixie choked out between sobs.
"Don't worry Nixie. I'll get us out of here. Someway, somehow, we'll get out." Zefnar reassured her.
"You promise?" Nixie looked up at him with hopeful eyes.
Zefnar didn't hesitate. "I promise."
Nixie rested her head on his shoulder. "I hope you're right."
After a couple of minutes of listening to melted snow rythemically drip onto the cold stone floor, both young matoran fell asleep.
~~~~

Gali woke from someone lightly shaking her. She opened her eyes to see the playful light brown eyes of Pohatu.

"Hi there Gali! Ready to get us out first key?"

"Can't I sleep a little longer?"

"That's what I asked. but then Tahu gave me 'The Stare'." Pohatu tried to imitate the hard stare Tahu gave anyone when he was impatient.

Gali chuckled, then said, "I guess I'd better get up then." Pohatu helped her up, and they both walked down the cliff.

Gali caught Kopaka's eye, and waved at him, but he just turned away.

Pohatu observed what just happened and said, "He's been in a weirder mood then usual today. I dunno why."

As soon as Gali and Pohatu got to the other toa, Tahu led them all to the KauKau waterfall.

"Ok, Nokama says that the door to the rooms is through the vent, after you climb a spiral staircase. So we're going to have to climb to get to the vent. Be careful, because it's very slippery."

"How did Nokama get to the rooms before?" Asked Lewa.

"She climed." Answered Tahu.

Lewa exploded into laughter. "Nokama? Climb? Yeah right!"

Onua playfully elbowed him in the stomach. "She was much younger then." he said, rolling his eyes.

All the toa began climbing the slippery rock. The wind was blowing pretty hard, so it took them all a little longer to reach the large vent. Tahu led the way inside, and up the rusty spiral staicase. He opened a door that led inside one room, and all the toa split up to search and look for the key. Gali went up a second spiral staircase that led to the highest room, but the door was locked. Gali backed up for a running start, and knocked the door off it's rusted hinges with a flying kick.

Gali carefully stepped over the door, and walked inside the room. She looked around for any place that the key might be hidden. She spotted some overgrown vines hanging over a section of the wall by a window, and briskley walked over to it. The young blond gently pulled the vines aside, and, sure enough, there was the key in an encarved space in the wall. The key was round, with 3 swerving lines which were the symbols for water or Ga-Koro, and it was held up by a blue silk ribbon that went through a hole in the top of the key. Gali gently took the key, and held it by it's ribbon.

"Hey guys! I found it!" Gali yelled behind her, while she put the blue ribbon around her neck, making the key like a necklace.

"Thank you for finding the first key. We'll be takimg it now." said a female voice.

Gali turned around, and to her horror, she saw Tezz, all of the kota, and Thais, standing confidently in front of them.
