Here's the example of the double post. It doesn't matter how long the peroind between the two post. It you see the formation of post by a same person like this, it's double post.
Double post is caused by many reasons. Some of them do it because their computer have some connetion proble. Some do it to add things in their last post. I will tell you the solution soon... Edit: Opps... Somebody post more faster than me... It doesn't matter. It you want to add something in your post, click the Edit button at the post you want to edit, and just do what you want to do, just like this post. Here's the real example of double post, if somebody are wonder.
Also there are some tips for the double post caused by the stupid computer(they aren't a stupid things, the users are): When you click the add reply or psot a new topic button, it already send a post to the forum, and it's fast. So if your computer aren't bring you back to the topic, just don't care it, and don't pust the post button over and over again. Hope this help. -------------------- ![]() PM me if you live in Malaysia! Ang, I disagree with the way you did this, because you did break rules even posting this. I know you didn't mean to do somethin' bad, but you really could have just linked to a page with double posts and told which ones were doubles...
I'm not trying to be mean, just warning you, somebody might take proto away for that, since it is a form of spamming... -Kulnek the Just Trying to be Helpful BZP History Buff |

You have to wait 30 seconds between posts, if that's what you mean... -------------------- |

About double posting
Sometimes double posting can be an accident, such as when you press "submit post" and as it is being sent, you click "submit post" again, because you don't think that the post was submitted. Real double posting is when you send two posts in a matter of minutes, as you could press the edit button at the upper-right of your post. The only time this doesn't count is when it is necessary, like submitting artwork. Hope this helps! -Pohatu089 EDIT: Double Topic is exactly the same as double posting: you accidentally clicked "add new topic" twice. Important:
Sometimes BZP is sloooooow, and can barely move. If you click on the "Add Reply" button, and a "Web Site Not Responding" screen comes up, DON'T go back and hit the button again. It almost always goes thru, at least in my experiences. Don't keep clicking on the button. If you have doubts, open a new window, go to BZP, and try to get far enough to see if your post went thru. A good rule of thumb would be -- when BZP slows down, you need to slow down too. It can be frustrating, but BZP never takes too long to speed back up. Patience is required to avoid double posting. Just don't keep clicking on the button. - - - Of course, what I said above doesn't apply to double posting intentionally ... this isn't allowed. A good way to decide what DP'ing was an accident, and what DP'ing was intentional, is to look for two things. 1. The date and time. If they were posted in the same 2-3 minute period, it was probably just an accident. But if they're posted a 1/2 hour apart ... it's likely that it was intentional. 2. The content. If they say the same thing, it was probably just an accident. But if they say 2 completely different things ... it's likely that it was intentional. -Matt |

Erm ... nope. In this new Q&A forum, posts don't count. It's just a place to help out -- no reward. Just the satisfaction of helping others. And ... straight from mfuss903, in the pinned topic at the top of Q&A:
Exactly. ;-) -Matt |
