Search
Members
by Join Date
Ascending Order
with 10 per page

Then look for yourself. When you've found you, take the page number, minus one, times ten, plus how far down the page you are.
Or, alternatively, page number times ten, minus how far up the page you are. HTH

Easy, you click Here and then you see the little search member thingy? You just use the little search engine and you search member by join date,it may take a while and you count all the members untill you see your name, then that number is your number join date.I'm not sure if there is a faster way, there probably is but I dont really know it.Hope that helps!!

(this should kinda be in New member Q&A I think)

Yeah, and to go faster to search, use the option, "50 members per page"...it may take a while, but you'll get there eventually!

Oh for the love of...you don't need to count EACH number.... laugh.gif

BCMatrix hit it dead on.

1) Sort by Join Date
2) Organize in Ascending Order
3) 50 per page.
4) Go till you find Your self
5) Count how many pages are before you.
6) Multiply x 10
7) Add to that number your posistion on the page is.

Same can be done for Post Count (desceding order) and Alphabetical Order (though that changes WAAAY too often)

Moing to Q/A....this is something lots of people like to know.

The following was posted by Dimensioneer on 3/30/03 in a GD topic:

Let me try to clear this up.

Your UID (user id) number is not technically the order by which you joined BZPower.

For instance, #5100 is not the 5100th person to join, but the 5100th account application. Each time someone attempts to join BZPower they are given a UID by which all future transactions are referenced. Even if they never reply to the registration email, that number is now locked up with their attempt. Forever. No matter what. (Well, unless I go in an manually monkey with the database.)

Furthermore, to add to the confusion early members (prior to the switch from Ikonboard to Invison) are in no particular order at all. As you know, I was the first member to join, because when I installed the software I had to create my account, but my UID is 293. This happened because Ikonboard didn't have a numerically chronological UID assignment scheme, but a nine to eleven digit code with a hyphen (like: 123-5678901). So when I converted the userbase from Ikonboard to Invision, the member accounts were sorted alphabetically (because it was a non-numeric field) rather than numerically.

So, your UID doesn't really tell you what number member you are, but what number Invision assigned to you when you applied for membership.

Also, the simple way to find your UID is to just click into your public profile and look at the URL in your browser. The portion that reads "MID=" is immediately followed by your user id.

Thanks to all who replied.
