Okay, this is a pretty easy question but for some reason, I just dont know it. I checked through the Q&A Directory thingy and it diddn't have info on this so here's my question:

Do you send a PM to a Mod when someone's signature is to big or do you report it by using the "Report this post" button?

I believe you PM an Admin. I reported one once to Nova Nuhvok, and she had to tell an Admin. Or Mfuss.

Mfuss usually takes care of that stuff.
But just hit the report this post button....

I once did it... well, first, Pm the person saying their Sig is too long. If they don't delete it, report them by PMing either an Admin or Mfuss, the Assistant Admin. But, if you tell them, normaly they'll cut it down. I made friends once because I helped them! So it's better to try to help out, then to report, if you can.

Well I had pmed mfuss and T-Hybrid sig voilations and mfuss hasn't read his yet and T said he would rather that I would just use the report post button. So I think you should just click report post button.

I saw a spamming member, with his post, I also reported the sig becoz it waaaay streched the screen.

Like I said, sometimes these Members don't know what they're doing is wrong. If they are doing something like stretching the screen with their Sig, PM them first, and tell them. If they reply something like: Lots of people have longer ones then me! then report them. But most of the time, they'll get rid of it, and make it shorter. Also again, if they are spamming, you have to report them, no way round it.

To report a signature, first copy the link to the Sig violator's profile.

Use the Report Post feature, and paste the link there including the Member's name and how the Sig is violating the guidelines.

PM an ST (preferrably not; WE can't do anything about it at all) or Admin with the Member's name, a link to their profile, and a brief, understandable explanation as to how their sig is violating guidelines.

Actually, I at least would appreciate if you didn't use the "Report Post" link. The mods can't actually do anything about reported sigs. IMO, it's better to PM an ST or, better, an admin.

Well I do what Future Hope does. I just PM the person with the sig, tell 'em the rule, and they change it willingly. Most of the time they were just unaware of the rule.

I gladly accept PM's. (Maybe I'm lonely) Either that or PM the Admins. But an ST might work better. I know I had reported stuff to Mahalis (ST version) back in the day...Like I said, PM me or other ST's. Or Admins. Mark is the one who normally takes care of sigs, or so I've been led to believe.
